Okay, have we as a fandom ever stopped and properly acknowledged how fucking smart Stan is? Like the level of not just social but also mathematical intelligence Stan seems to possess is fucking INSANE! Because he had to maintain that portal until he got the last book. He had to keep that thing in functioning condition until he could get Ford back. And I'm pretty sure Ford didn't have that vending machine door when Stan got there—I don't think people sell something like that. Let's be real he probably had to make that thing! He managed to fake his identity for THIRTY YEARS with everyone being none the wiser—that means he managed to evade the IRS!

That man is EXTREMELY intelligent, science and mathematics just don't interest him like they interested Ford—if they did he'd probably be working for NASA or some shit.

My brain just hit an old hyperfixation (is this what it's called? I hope I used the word right) and oh dear am I losing my mind now. I need to write a story I think. About this one old guy. He's unhinged. There's so much information about him and yet not enough. I want to explore his character so much. He's definitely a criminal - at least he was one - and I'm 95% sure he can do actual real magic, and he's a musician and an artist and an actor and a magician and a philosopher and a traveler and a conman and so much more and also I think he's some kind of immortal. Maybe he just has a VERY long life. It's strongly implied he was a pirate at some point of his life. He started a cult by accident several times. My conspiracy theories about him include him being a secret god.

He's also a freaking round blue raven. Someone save me from my mind.

I swear it’s almost comedic how he’s managed to hijack my YouTube channel and gain me a baffling amount of new subscribers from OUT OF NOWHERE WHA- someone needs to stop him before this happens again I’m scared /j. It’s been fun watching the numbers increase in real time if not a tad overwhelming, but thankfully it mostly makes me feel appreciative more than anything else. Hopefully it’s made people laugh or helped inspired others <3

I would have talked myself out of sharing it otherwise…so glad I made the right decision with posting there. Took a leap of faith and now I feel validated for doing so. I just hope that I’m doing the characters justice even if adding my own unique spin on it. Plus gotta take a step back and remind myself that viewership isn’t what makes the world go round. Wouldn’t want the numbers getting to my head this early on and intervening with my creative visions jksjskp! I get easily influenced sometimes so finding a healthy balance for it is key :))

Also, I've decided something.

If someone doesn't follow me back or whatever, I am no longer going to try to convince them to. That doesn't necessarily mean I won't follow non-mutual followers, or interact with them if I want to and they want to. It simply means I will most of the time focus on those who are mutuals, and show interest in interaction. I'm never going to be a mutually exclusive RPer, personally, cause I simply think there are too many talented writers and even if I don't immediately see a connection between our muses, that doesn't mean one couldn't develop. Or if the other RPer doesn't see it, that doesn't necessarily mean they never will.

But tbh, I've been focusing a little too much on those who /aren't/ currently showing interest in interacting, even if we were mutuals in the past, and it's ruining the fun of RPing for me. So if you're following me (or will in the future), you're good! I just think it's much better to focus on those who do want to write rather than those who may or may not. I don't have any negative feelings towards those who are former mutuals. Not anymore. I did, because I was thinking that it meant I suck as a writer/RPer. But I want to make clear, that was on me, not them.

My insecurities are my own to deal with, I know. And I genuinely want to deal with them (I swear). All that said, I might give people some time to realize I've moved back here (cause the new blog isn't working anymore, it's a problem) before I decide whether or not I want to unfollow anyone. Probably not, but ya know, you never know. (Mutuals are safe, though. I'm not going to unfollow any of you. ILY mutuals , past, present, and future. <3 )

Now I'm going to work on drafts, provided nothing weird happens. <3

One of my favourite parts of D&D is the complete self indulgence you can put into every character. My friend wanted to play a rebellious teenager raised by her cool older brother who she modelled herself after (ranger, hunter, big flirt.) and then I get to take that and make him a kind and casual unwilling leader figure and also a cult survivor who had to leave his sister to come back to save her later and ALSO an aroallo whore

I am however partial to Gif 2, only because I may or may not have written in some fever dream that Dave maybe did a B&E (breaking and entering) on an OFC’s home and various things happened that spanned 2 chapters. The power of a hoodie and cargo pants 😭 Like maybe crime pays a little differently sometimes. 😘
