Thinking about holy ghosts. Thinking about how Oscar expressed reluctance to tell Arthur about this trauma in his past, that he'd repressed it for a lifetime, that he was putting his Trust in Arthur in opening this memory. And we know the affect that recalling it alone had on him. Thinking about how all of that trust and effort was thrown back in his face after one day, and he was abandoned to deal with everything that had been torn up.

Thinking about the man Oscar may have been in the time Noel was away. Did he isolate himself? Lose his faith? Spend his days in a haze of drink and loneliness and depression? Or was he still the same person, still doing good for everyone he could?

Thinking about how long it would take Oscar to open up to Noel after everything fell apart last time. Maybe in that time between he's managed to pack some of it tightly away again, and even if Charlie started to open up with him, I think it would take a lot of time and pain and Charlie holding him through it for Oscar to admit to anything.
