Well, Medic can probably find a way to make it happen. He's accomplished more outlandish things before
(ooc) Well if medic can reverse that one symptom then you'd think he'd reverse the rest
or the lead poisoning entirely. I feel like that should be easier than bringing someone back from the dead.
And it's not like recovery isn't an option. From what i've seen there are treatment options out there (although it's mostly remove the source of the lead), so the real question is why medic hasn't already stepped in
Another thing is, when did Soldier start drinking leady water? (the water in teufort is really bad and the reason why teufort as a whole is kinda stupid) So, my number might be wrong but this is what i've got, So they were hired in 1962 and fired in 1972 and we're all going to pretend that in the seventh comic they get rehired again and everything goes back to normal. So soldier has been drinking lead infested water for ten years
Did the mercenaries know soldier prior to the lead poisoning? If he was living in Tuefort and unknowingly drinking lead prior to getting fired than it's possible they wouldnt, but it's also possible they did and that's a weird thought

Hi, I’d like to order a 32 please: A kiss while someone watches 😙
Coming right up! How about 2500 words of heart trouble that leads up to a heart-racing finish with a LOT of someones watching? Chicago retirement universe, football, sappy soft old men. This is unedited and scrappy, so please forgive glaring errors and halfway correct medical nonsense - I used to work in a coumadin clinic and with a cardiologist so I have some (probably outdated and definitely sketchy at this point) knowledge and that's about where we sit here. Forgive me for errors, I tried to remember things without trying to dive too far into research just to get them to kiss. We're in the CM universe, this is probably still closer to accurate than most of the show was. LOL (I'll put this on AO3 tomorrow. I have to go clean my house and get ready for a football game filled weekend of my own now.)
Warning ⚠️: heart problems & procedures, mention of death/implied abusive household (hotch's father)
(Send me a kiss (or LOTS of them) and I'll write you some hotchgan!)
**
Hotch hadn’t been to work in months. Summer vacation provided a clever cover for his ailing health, he thought. Usually he would pick up a summer course or two, just to keep busy, but it wasn’t required and this year he didn’t even consider it. His heart had begun to act funny sometime around spring break – nothing he hadn’t experienced before. Since Foyet, he’d had random periods of erratic heartbeats. Too fast, sometimes alarmingly so, but always over quickly. A few scary minutes accompanied by a seasick feeling and then back to normal. He would think about it for an hour after, sitting and waiting for the next one, for the Big One.
His father, riddled with cancer though he were, died of a heart attack right there in front of his eyes. One minute he was sitting on the couch talking, complaining about how dry his sandwich was (his mother made it without mayo, just meat and bread, because his body couldn’t tolerate the fat anymore) and then...everything stopped. His eyes went wide, his jaw went slack and he was gone. His heart just stopped, at least that’s the way Hotch remembered it. It was possible it didn’t go quite that way, he was young enough and filled with enough teenage vitriol that if he compared notes with his mother, it might look completely different. He didn’t care to find out, though. The idea that his father’s ticker just ceased to function one minute had always brought him some kind of strange comfort, scared as he was of it happening to him too. Like no matter how terrible a person he was, his clock had run out. His time was up. (Sean asked if his heart exploded, later, after the funeral. The image became ingrained in him, even now as an adult – a heart attack meant that your heart exploded gore in your chest, meat and blood everywhere. In relation to most people he hated the thought, but in relation to his father...well it seemed a fitting end.)
It came and went over the years, sometimes for days at a time, but his doctors assured him that it wasn’t anything to worry about. There were medications and treatments if it became persistent, if it didn’t reset on its own. It always did. He would worry his time was up, and then his heart would say no, not yet. You get another day, another week, another year. Just making sure you remember I’m here and I’m in charge.
But he was older now, and just before spring break as he taught a class on Criminal Law to his to his grad students, he felt his heart begin hammering in his chest faster than it ever had before. He put his hand on his chest and swallowed hard, that had always worked before somehow (maybe only by coincidence) but it only served to make him feel faint. Stubbornly, he pressed on and turning toward the white board, he looked up, squinted to read the words he’d written and grabbed for the red marker he intended to use.
The next thing he knew he was waking up on the floor with a sea of concerned faces staring down at him.
Most people could go a whole lifetime without collapsing in the middle of a presentation, yet he’d done it twice now. Where was the justice in that? The only silver lining was that this time he happened to wake back up before he was in an ambulance with an oxygen mask obscuring his face. (Just barely. The EMTs arrived just a few minutes later and he was alert enough to insist on standing with their help and walking to the ambulance rather than ride on the stretcher through the hallway of his university.)
This time, it didn’t reset on its own, not for hours.
This time Derek was called out of his classes, leaving his baseball team to the assistant coach so he could rush over and sit with Hotch while they attempted to get his heart back into a normal sinus rhythm. Even then, it was precarious. They didn’t expect it to last, not with the onslaught of concerning symptoms that brought him here in the first place. He went home with a pile of new prescriptions to try and treat it medically, all of which failed spectacularly in everything except making him feel like garbage. His least favorite was the re-introduction of blood thinners into his life. The last time he’d taken them was the months after Foyet when they feared that he was at risk of stroke due to the severity and location of his injuries, and the lasting effects those same injuries had on George Foyet himself. Hotch had argued that Foyet had stabbed himself more times, that he’d practiced, that nine was a lot less than what Foyet wore but he had taken the blood thinners dutifully then and he did now too. He suffered through weekly appointments to check his INR, make sure that everything was looking like it should, and because he had Jack and Hank and Derek looking at him like that...wondering if he was going to have a stroke...he never missed or rescheduled a single appointment even if it meant throwing his entire day into disarray. He limped himself along to the end of the year on sheer determination, refusal to cut and run before his students were finished with the courses they’d all begun together. He’d seen them this far, and if his last couple of lectures were given while he leaned heavily on the podium (or sat at his desk on one particularly bad afternoon) then so be it. They always forgave him.
As soon as school was out, he scheduled himself in for an ablation – a procedure to try and go at it from the inside. They assured him that he might feel bad for a while after while he healed, but it was likely to be the ticket. The way to get him back to feeling like himself. The way to get him off of the blood thinners.
The whole time he just felt tired. Not necessarily sick, just unable to do much of anything. His normally active lifestyle had become difficult and sometimes impossible. He and Derek would ride bikes on the weekends or run in the morning and he tried to maintain it, his doctors told him it was in his best interest to be as active as he could be, but some days were just too hard and he couldn’t keep up. No one in his family made him feel bad about it, he did that plenty on his own.
He was miserable, watching summer slip by without getting to do much more than lie in a lounge chair in the backyard and soak up whatever sun Chicago provided him with. He missed out on their usual big summer trips to wherever Savannah was working, he’d said goodbye to Derek and Hank and Jack as they flew to southern Mexico to spend two weeks with her at the ocean. He wasn’t up for the flight and knew they’d all just spend the whole time worrying about him if he went at all. He was better off at home, spending afternoons playing cards with Anthony and Fran while Cindi was at work or going to movies with Desiree and Sarah. It wasn’t as if he couldn’t enjoy himself, he just had to stay close to home because when the exhaustion hit him it hit hard.
Once he had the procedure, things would be better. He was certain. At least after the healing period which would probably make him seem worse, and for the most part, he was right. He’d still decided not to work for a while, to take the first semester of the year off. It wasn’t like he didn’t have the time built up. He probably could have worked, but he didn’t need to and he wasn’t in the habit of killing himself for his job anymore. Things were already looking up a few weeks after the procedure. His energy was slowly returning along with his appetite and his desire to get out and be part of the world. The ever present fear that he would collapse again in public started to slip back into the recesses of his mind. He wasn’t feeling good, necessarily, but he was feeling better. There was hope that he was on the upswing finally.
Occasionally he overdid it and there were setbacks, but he was being good. Taking his medication on time every day, not missing appointments, things his younger self would have deemed impossible. A luxury he didn’t have. Well, now he had it in abundance. He’d spent the day before in the backyard, getting it ready for winter while he had the energy to do it. Derek had started the job but he had no love for these tasks and would avoid them as long as he could – Hotch wanted to do it, he wanted to push his hands into the cold soil and prepare it to sleep. But being outside all day had come with an evening of exhaustion like he hadn’t had in weeks, and the next morning he could barely pull himself out of bed. His body was scolding him again. “Rest today,” Derek said, kissing him on the top of the head. “Please. For the love of everything holy, rest.”
“Yes sir.”
He did. He didn’t exactly stay in bed all day but he did take it easy. He was motivated to take it easy, he had a reason. And when Derek came out of the bedroom and saw Hotch standing near the door dressed in the highschool’s colors, bundled up with Derek’s beat up old ball cap on, he couldn’t really understand it. Not after the way he looked that morning. “What are you doing?”
“What does it look like?” Hotch asked, checking the time. Derek frowned.
“It looks like you think you’re coming to the game. BOYS HURRY UP!” The last part was shouted as Derek turned back toward the hallway, a hallmark of dad-mode. Being able to carry on two simultaneous conversations, in different pitches and intensity, without skipping a beat. Jack shouted something back and something crashed against the floor, but Derek had already turned back to Hotch.
“I am coming to your game.”
“Like hell you are. You’ve been sick all day.”
“If I can sit at home then I can sit in the stands at a football game. It’s the state championship, Derek. You guys worked your tails off to get here, I’ve hardly seen you in months. How long has it been since your school has won?”
“Thirty years. We won when I was a senior.”
“Thirty years and I’m going to miss it because I’m tired?”
“Aaron…”
“Don’t Aaron me. I’m coming to watch you coach your team to a championship.”
“DAD!” Jack called, rushing down the hallway with Hank dangling upside down from his arms giggling. He was wearing his football jersey, minus the pads, and a pair of jeans that looked about two sizes smaller than Hotch would have preferred but he supposed that was the style these days. “You’re coming?!”
“Yes, I’m coming.”
“DADDY COMES!” Hank shouted, wiggling almost to the point of Jack dropping him.
“See? It’s settled.”
Derek gave him an unconvinced, almost exasperated look but he didn’t have the time to argue, he just took the whistle that Hotch extended to him with a smile and ushered them all out to the car in the cold October evening. They were playing on the Northwestern field, and some part of Hotch was a little worried – he’d taken the semester off to recover, to try anyway, and hadn’t seen his colleagues in months. He hoped they wouldn’t pay him too much attention.
The game moved fast – the crunch of shoulder pads, the shouting of gruff coaches and screaming of fans, the bright lights catching the freezing rain as it fell to the field and whipped around in the wind. The announcer called out name after name, and he watched Jack on the sidelines in his uniform cheering his friends on, holding a towel and wiping off game balls for the referees, helping keep the team hydrated. He was hoping to make Varsity next year, but his entire Junior Varsity team was there to cheer on the big guys and Jack was working a little extra hard to make sure his contribution was noticed. He couldn’t get onto Varsity by slacking, not with his dad coaching. He had to work twice as hard. It looked to Hotch, as he squinted at the full university stadium, that the whole city of Chicago had turned out to watch these boys from the south side bring home the title.
And when it came down to a field goal, when the whole stadium held its breath and watched that ball soar through the uprights, and when Derek was jumping around like a mad man amid shoulder pads and helmets and shouting crying teenagers, Hotch stood and cheered just as loud as anyone. His heart beat faster, thumped intensely in his chest, but it felt normal. The good fast. The kind that reminded him that he was alive and his body was built for a lot more than he gave it credit for sometimes. That he might be tired tomorrow but he would never get tonight back.
Being alive sometimes meant being uncomfortable, he realized as Derek bounded up the metal stairs taking two and three at a time, as he launched himself through the bleachers until he reached Hotch at his comfortable perch and practically threw himself at the man. “WE DID IT! WE DID IT! THEY DID IT!” He was beside himself with excitement, the pride of knowing what his kids had achieved, the memory of achieving it once himself so long ago he thought he’d forgotten but it felt the same now as it did then. It made his skin prickle, shock waves that made his bones jump, his head screaming for joy. The stadium had erupted in so much noise, but Hotch even with his bad hearing managed to hear him loud and clear, and when Derek wrapped him up and kissed him hard right there he didn’t put up a fight. He found his arms sliding around Derek’s waist, pinning them both in place, and the air sucked from his lungs, the beat in his heart all but stopping now. The stadium got quiet around them, the sound sucked into a vacuum, and then slowly a new sound erupted, a different kind of cheer, led by the football players on the field hooting and hollering. Hotch peeked one eye open to see the two of them kissing on the big screen right above the scoreboard, right above the score proclaiming their victory. He smiled into the kiss and closed his eyes again as fireworks began, and he let himself believe just for a moment that those fireworks were for them.
Being alive never felt so good. “Congratulations,” he whispered against Derek’s lips. “I love you.”
“Hot damn! I love you too baby! WE WON!”

1-Hello! To begin, I devoured HungerPangs and absolutely loved it. Just. Amazing. So different and fresh, I love the tone of the book. I wanted to know, if you have the spoons for it, if you knew anything about scalp picking? Thanks to your blog, I've been able to identify certain things that probably indicate that I have ADHD (several people in my family have it, but the diagnosed ones were all textbook adhd boys, and I was a very docile girl as a child) and probably OCD as well.
2-I noticed some hair loss about a year and a half ago and started using a special shampoo, thinking my hormones were having a go at me again, or stress. But it's gotten worse in the past year. As a child, I always chewed my nails, and my mom tried to train me out of it, but I just switched to chewing the inside of my mouth. I tried to stop that a while ago, as I had come close to actually injuring myself, and I think I started picking my scalp about that time.
3-Someone on Tumblr was writing about OCD and scalp picking and I just had a lightbulb moment. But when I tried to research it, all I was able to find was how that hair loss was permanent? I have a lot of trouble reading serious texts and articles, and it sent me into a panic which makes it even more difficult. Do you have any information about this, or maybe one of your followers? I'm just terrified that I've somehow managed to make myself partially bald at 25. I'm sorry for disturbing you.
-----
First of all, thank you so much for your kind words about Phangs, I’m so glad you enjoyed it :) And lucky for you, I’m very good at reading through medical journals lol.
While permanent hair loss from trichotillomania can happen, it usually takes decades worth of damage to do. From the few reputable sources I just clicked through, it’s about 10-20 years. Fortunately, the regrowth time is much shorter, but it can also take several years for your scalp to heal and for your hair to grow back to what it was before. The top source I read estimated about 6 years, which actually tracks with my own hair growth after mine fell out from illness.
So while your hair loss is distressing, the good news is if you are able to manage your trichotillomania, your hair will likely regrow in time. But treating the  trichotillomania is vital, not just for cosmetic reasons but for your own mental well being as well as physical. Scalp infections can occur from trichotillomania, and from personal experience from having scalp problems, those are not fun either :(
The primary treatment for trichotillomania is therapy. Considering we’re all still in quarantine, you might be able to find a therapist able to help you via telehealth. The main things you’re going to want to look for are therapists with experience in habit reversal training, cognitive therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. (<-- this link links to the mayo clinic page for trichotillomania, specifically the treatment section.)
I hope this helps, and you’re able to focus on getting better. You deserve it. And so does your scalp!
As an aside, if you’re dealing with general shedding problems too in areas where you’re not pulling, stress and hormones could be a factor. And considering the year we’ve all had, stress shedding is a distinct possibility. The shampoo I use, Calia Curative Shampoo, stops me from shedding as much. It’s not a miracle product cause there’s no such thing, but I do notice my scalp is less irritated when I use it and that helps my hair stay where it’s meant to be. No small feat when your body randomly decides to be allergic to your own hair LOL.

#JusticeforJohnnyDepp: Johnny’s witness statements at a glance (Kevin Murphy & Kate James)
Things I Cover in this Post:
AH’s consumption of alcohol and prescription pills
AH consistently lying/submitting false documents in order to get what she wants
the dogs in Australia
AH lying to Homeland Security
AH’s abuse of Johnny (both verbal and physical)
the shit in the bed
AH bullying/threatening/intimidating members of Johnny’s staff
The two witness statements I’m including highlights from come from: Kate James- personal assistant to AH for a little under 3 years & Kevin Murphy- Johnny’s estate manager for 8 years, ending in 2016
Before we get into that, I would really love it if you could check out and sign this petition that is demanding an official review into the misconduct of the judge for this case, Andrew Nicol.
It’s a lot of talk about the illegal smuggling of the dogs into Australia, which could definitely come off as tedious af, but I feel this is an excellent demonstrator of the character of Scum and how she tries to manipulate/control all those around her. That is mostly what this instalment is going to be about, employees speaking to the character of Scum and her non-existent relationship with the truth.
Beginning with a woman who worked as assistant to Scum, so Scum was paying her, you would think her loyalty would be to her employer, the person she was working for and spending lots of time with. Well, nope, coz Scum is exactly that - SCUM.
Tumblr media
More of Scum bullying/belittling Johnny. But I mainly included this part so we could take a look at Kate’s account of Scum drinking ‘vast quantities’ of wine each night. Johnny recounted in his witness statements of his ‘difficult’ relationship with drink and drugs, including visits to rehab facilities in order to get sober. He talks specifically of March 2015, in Australia (when she mutilated his finger), saying:  Under the stress of the situation, I poured myself a glass of vodka and drank it. It was with this glass that I broke my sobriety. Kate was fired by Scum (actually blindsided is how she put it) in Feb of 2015, so the testimony of her buying non-alcoholic beer for Johnny holds up to me.
Tumblr media
Before I started reading properly into this case, I was nervous to properly research into it because I was thinking that I would read something about Johnny that I didn’t like and I was terrified that I’d never come back from that. 12 years of my life- loving, idolising, being inspired by this man- I didn’t want that to end in a blazing burn of ‘wow, what a shithead, I can’t believe that’s what I dedicated time/money/energy to’. But halleloo, he is everything I’ve always hoped he was and potentially more. So I included this section not just as a ‘wow, Johnny is the greatest’, but also, Scum’s assistant failing to see any signs of injury, which is just another voice to add to the booming chorus at this point.
Tumblr media
Here we have Scum wilfully and knowingly breaking laws for her own benefit.
Tumblr media
Here is the photo that was submitted as part of Kate’s evidence. It isn’t super clear but I’ve highlighted the date, as well as some of the flowery language Scum employs to portray herself as so much better than she is and just going over the top with that.
Tumblr media
This is a check Kate submitted in her evidence. To me, the signature doesn’t seem to match the one on the document from Scum. But what is important about this check is the name: Savannah McMillian, the fact that it’s from the Bank of America and the date, of September 2014, which is the same month of Scum’s false document (if you zoom in).
There is no chance in Hell that Savannah was just a friend of Scum’s visiting America for a magical trip. No ma’am, no Pam. I also wanted to include a screenshot provided by Kevin Murphy of an email from Savannah, in which she specifically introduces herself as Scum’s assistant. So here is another lie to add to her list (is there even any room on the tally board anymore?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
‘She felt that she was above the law’
Hmm, what does that remind me of? Oh right, the symptoms/signs of antisocial personality disorders aka SOCIOPATHIC BEHAVIOUR! Referring back to Mayo Clinic, they describe: a disregard for right/wrong, arrogance/sense of superiority, unnecessary risk-taking, failure to consider negative consequences/learn from them, consistent irresponsibility and so on and so on.
Tumblr media
She’s lied and perjured herself in the past - why wouldn’t she continue to lie to get what she wants? aka- this whole hoax against Johnny.
Tumblr media
Grease? Calm down sweetie, you’re not in the mob. Just say bribe.
Tumblr media
GREASE ME UP, WOMAN!
Anyway, let’s move along to Kevin Murphy, a man who worked with Johnny for 8 years and had to deal with a lot of Scum’s shit.
Tumblr media
Here we have Johnny telling a member of his staff about the physical abuse he was being subjected to - why didn’t Scum do the same and tell members of her team? Oh right, because it never happened to her.
Tumblr media
Kevin was very involved with all of the dog smuggling bullshit and it became a personal matter for him. All of this could’ve been avoided... If not for Scum’s selfishness.
Tumblr media
She threatened him and his job and then tried to place all of the legal blame of the smuggling onto him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, I wanted to touch on Scum’s use of alcohol and even drugs. I wanted to be fair to Scum in this, maybe she was using Provigil under a prescription, just like Johnny and his Roxicodone. So I did some digging and I found that yes, Provigil does require a prescription.
Tumblr media
But, from what I could gather from my reading, you can get some over the counter substitutes that have a lower dosage.
But no.2, I found a website where you can purchase Provigil.
Tumblr media
I took the liberty of adding it to a cart and selecting checkout. I took all of the steps up to the point where I’d have to pay and guess what? Not once was I asked to provide any details of a GP or of a prescription.
Again, to be fair to Scum, I checked to see if you could also get Roxicodone on this website and guess what?
Tumblr media
No, no you can’t.
I don’t intend for this to be taken as conclusive evidence in any way, but it was something that I found interesting.
Tumblr media
I really wish they had gotten it DNA tested.
Tumblr media
Scum told three different versions of this shit in the bed story-
shit? What shit? There wasn’t any shit in the bed
Yeah, lol, there was shit in the bed, just a harmless prank, got ‘im!
It was the dogs the whole time
And then she projects onto Kevin the fact that she lied, because that’s what she loves to do. She takes her own behaviour and applies it to other people to get them in trouble. This indicates to me that she knows her actions are wrong, but I guess she just thinks she can always find a way to get out of it.
Tumblr media
Is she a child? Is she an actual infant? Is she a fucking child?
He had to go and tell 8 other members of their/Johnny’s team to make sure she wouldn’t misbehave and then she went and did it anyway! Is she a child?! It’s like she’s a fucking kid who the Dad has to tell the babysitter that ‘no, she isn’t usually allowed candy, please don’t give her any’ and then the babysitter catches her with a stash of candy anyway! It’s pathetic!
Tumblr media
Johnny didn’t want the dogs to come at all and yet, he’s the one who bore most of the brunt over here in the media. And still does, if you refer to this incident, it’s not her dogs, it’s Johnny Depp and his dogs that he snuck in to the country that pissed off the government.
Tumblr media
She had this man believing he was going to lose his job because he was trying to correct a legal wrong that she had knowingly committed.
Tumblr media
And here she is making a joke about it, on her own fucking Instagram. She had someone take that photo, typed out the caption and decided: ‘yep, this is something I can stand behind, this is fine, this is great content’ and posted it to the world.
Here we go again with another example of that sociopathic behaviour, with her showing a complete lack of remorse and a lack of empathy over the damage this did to the other people involved.
I hope this has helped to provide a greater insight into the type of person Scum is, how manipulative, ruthless and uncaring she is to any/all of the people around her when she’s in pursuit of a goal. I also hope this has helped to shed more light on Scum and her habits with alcohol and pills, which she doesn’t want you to know about, of course. It’s kinda hard for her to consistently call Johnny an addict when she clearly cracks into the goon sack a fair amount herself.

are you in medical school or a doctor or something?? your doctor AUs are incredible and it seems like you really know what you’re talking about!!
Oh God, no. I mean, I’ve been asked this question for a while now. But I laugh every time I think of my answer. It never changes. It also got too long so I’m going to put it under the cut. Lol
There was a time when I thought I wanted to be a doctor, but my biology teacher in high school thought I wasn’t good enough and kicked me out of her class - therefore, crushing my dreams and also making me realize that I was never meant to be a doctor. I’m the kind of person who faints when I see blood, and that made me realize that I couldn’t have done it either way.  But then I figured out that I didn’t want to become a doctor, but write about doctors like Shonda Rhimes did. My interest for medicine came from the writing side of it.
I’m just an International Development major who’s watched all 16.5 (and counting) seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, who’s passionate about writing realistic characters who uphold the oath to ‘do no harm’. I wanted to explore how these characters would hold up to those morals when put in tough situations.
I know that the medical aspects of my fics seem like you’ve got to be a doctor to understand what they mean. I just do a lot of research. I do a lot of research because I want to make sure that the fics I put out seem as authentic and informative as possible. If I’m writing one line of medical jargon, I spend a few hours researching what it means. I take plenty of time to make sure I’m not putting out any wrong info to my readers.
Mayo Clinic has plenty of resources, and I used to follow a (now inactive) blog that was run by a medic for the sole purpose of providing writers with information when writing medical aspects in their fics. I had the chance to interview a heart surgeon a few years ago for my original content (which has now been reborn as two separate fics called Better and Long Way Home), and interacting with him certainly helped me understand how to make my characters authentic and interesting. He used the word ‘catheterization’ so many times in his interview, and I just found it fascinating that he didn’t think for once that I wouldn’t know what he was talking about. So, I said to myself that I was going to learn what it meant... and I did. I still don’t know what I’m talking about, but I do know how to write like I know what I’m talking about. I know how to write my way into making people believe that I must be a doctor or a med student to be writing like this... if you know what I mean. But I  don’t have to be a doctor for my fics to be this good. I’m just a really good witer who’s put a lot of thought into building my AUs and my characters.
I’m not in it to write Doctor AUs for the kinky side of things like half of Tumblr. I’m in it to write realistic AUs where doctors won’t be fucking their patients in the exam room. I’m in it to show this hellsite that you can write Doctor AUs without having your characters lose their integrity and violate the Hippocratic Oath. I’ve seen so many of those fics since my time on Wattpad and on Tumblr, so I’m just doing my part in writing good Doctor AUs that hold up to the professional ethics of my characters.
Thank you so much for reading and appreciating my Doctor AUs, because it really means a lot. As many other writers on this site, I have put so much effort into my writing. Research takes time, and to see that time and effort be valued means the world to me. I just hope that I can keep writing more Doctor AUs, and keep doing what I love so much.

Ding ding ding- Now you gotta face Round 2, #1-16 ;) if you're up for the fight (and if ya /really/ gotta procrastinate) Also oh my god Wade said "Spank Me Daddy" to Frank??? This is utter GOLD!
ROUND TWO, FITE!!!
Also, thank you lol.
1 (What inspires you to write): My unyielding internal drive of “GOTTA DO IT GOTTA DO IT GOTTA DO IT” (thank you OCD/ADHD).
And, outside of that, I only write what I genuinely love writing. Music also helps me come up with ideas.
2 (What motivates you to write): See above answer. I just... like getting stuff done. *shrugs*
3 (Three favorite authors): Online? @leo-writer, @chromecutie, @in-real-life-there-is-no-algebra, @myletternevercame, and therestlessbrook on Ao3. (yeah that’s more than three but idc.)
Offline? Rick Riordan’s always been high on the list for me, as has Margaret Peterson Haddix.
4 (3 authors influential to my work): Rick Riordan has definitely been an inspiration in not being afraid to go large scale with my projects, and also for being inclusive with representation.
I also take a lot of inspiration and direction from fanfics I read because each author does something a little different. Again, the restlessbrook on Ao3 is a big one, as is the LOVE OF MY LIFE AND INSPIRATION Q U E E N @leo-writer sdfksdjlfjsdlfkj.
5 (How long have you written): Started at 14, did it consistently since 17.
6 (How has writing changed you): It’s made more open-minded to things, compared to where I was at world-view-wise as a teenager.
7 (Early influences in writing): Star Wars the Clone Wars and reading The 39 Clues bookseries. Those were my jam as a kid/teen.
8 (What time are you most productive): Dependent on my ADHD, but I can usually work at any time of day.
9 (Do you set deadlines): As I need to. I’ve previously uploaded once a week and done fine with that, but if I’m working on a bigger piece or need to take time for life or my health, I do.
10 (How do you do researching): There’s not a lot I research, actually (oops). Anything mental health related, I base off my own experiences or check Mayo Clinic’s website. More nuanced stuff (like with the coke withdrawals for The Literal Crack Fic) I’ll search for based on symptoms I need to include, interactions I need to consider with medications, and any other medical aspects I need to consider (healing periods, withdrawal periods, etc) I’ll pop into Google, then use medical text resources or sites that specifically deal with the thing I’m looking for (American Psychology Association, and for the coke one I went to a lot of addiction related sites). Culture or food related, I usually just skim Wikipedia.
11 (Do you listen to music while writing): Sometimes. I’m more liable to put a gameplay on YouTube or listen to ASMR.
12 (Favorite place to write): Anywhere I won’t be distracted.
13 (Hardest character to write): Wade Wilson or Nathan Summers. I never feel like I do them justice.
14 (Easiest character to write): Is it cheating if I say the CHC Reader? Is that cheating? Am I cheating?
If we’re talking a non-reader character, probably Piotr.
15 (Hardest verse to write): Marvel is difficult just because the number of characters and canons to work with are just... so many.
Haven’t branched out much besides that.
16 (Easiest verse to write): Again, I really only write Marvel, so... yeah.

Also today was the start of me being a (potential) research participant with Mayo Clinic for the next two years because of my NMO. They sent me a parcel in the mail with all of my test tubes and a little ice pack and stuff. I did not realize it was essentially going to be a very DIY endeavour. Thank goodness I didnt have to draw my own blood lol. But I'm really excited about this because I've always wanted to donate blood but can't because I dont weigh enough/ am too short. And now I can help other people with this rare disorder and maybe even myself! So hopefully I'm putting some more good vibes out there in the world 😎😎

Okay so weird question, but how exactly did you get diagnosed with POTS? I was diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome and partial arrhythmia a while ago, and it's only just recently that I've had a doc wonder if I have POTS. He didn't really tell me anything about POTS, and now I'm really lost! Do you think it's unlikely that I could get to be 21 and not be diagnosed?
Strap in, friend, because the story of how I got diagnosed is long and unpleasant.
So to start off, here’s a basic explanation of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. It’s a syndrome, which means that it is a description of a collection of symptoms rather than an underlying cause. Frankly, doctors aren’t super sure why any of this happens, what exactly causes it, or even if it’s genetic or what. (But my mom, sister, and grandmother all show signs of mild POTS, so uh. It’s probably genetic.) The long and short of it, though, is that your blood vessels are supposed to automatically tighten or release in order to control blood flow. When you stand up, they tighten to counteract gravity and make sure blood stays where it should be. When you have POTS, your blood vessels don’t do what they’re supposed to do. Your autonomic nervous system stops controlling this tightening and loosening process, which means your blood flow is not being adequately controlled. (Also, there seems to be some research showing that #1, we tend to have more elastic blood vessels, which means they just expand when they fill up more – bad because that means your body can’t use blood pressure to regulate blood flow, either, and #2, we may not always have enough blood in our bodies to fill our blood vessels, so again, shitty blood pressure.) ANYWAY, what all this means in practice is that assorted parts of your body aren’t getting enough blood, or they’re getting too much blood. Blood does all sorts of important things for your organs, especially oxygenating them, so this really means that POTS is an “anything that can go wrong will go wrong” situation. Anything in your body that uses blood can go haywire at any time. And sorry to say, that’s everything.
Now, POTS is highly variable. Again, it’s a loose collection of symptoms, and those symptoms are different for literally every patient. POTS is actually super common in teenage girls, but it tends to be very mild and some teens (mostly boys, mind) completely grow out of it, so people often don’t even notice they have it. People only just started researching it and it’s still not talked about much, which, well, is probably due to sexism. I learned the hard way that teenage girls are not generally listened to when they complain about nebulous symptoms, especially if those symptoms have literally anything to do with hormones and menstruation. (Which POTS does. It’s…I think ¾ of all people who have it are biologically female, and onset usually accompanies periods of hormone fluctuation such as start of menstruation, childbirth, or start of menopause. Most sufferers get it in their teens when they start getting their period.) Like… It’s hard to really put this in a gender neutral way because I promise you, the reason doctors are shitty about POTS is tied to both the biological and societal effects of being female. That’s an aside though.
Anyway, tl;dr, it’s different for everyone and doctors think you’re nuts. When I was diagnosed, in the informational packet literally said “THIS IS NOT ALL IN YOUR HEAD” because so many patients have been repeatedly told that. For me, I was actually uh. I don’t want to say lucky? But in some ways I guess, yeah, lucky. I have a really bad case of POTS with some really severe symptoms. I have a lot of digestion problems, extreme exhaustion problems, dizziness, faintness, anxiety/depression, pooling/tingling/coldness in extremities, and here’s the biggie – blindness. When I stand up, I often just straight-up go blind. (Or if I’m just sitting there doing fucking nothing if I’m on an airplane.) It was really bad especially when I was a teenager. It used to be like literally every fucking time I stood up. (We later found out it was because all the blood was draining out of my head bc gravity. Turns out your brain likes blood! This is also why it hurts so much.) Now, doctors ignored most of what I told them about exhaustion, trouble keeping down food, aches and pains, etc. I was repeatedly told “oh, well, that’s just part of being a teenage girl”. Like honestly, try telling someone that you have exhaustion, pain, and nausea relating to a period and see how seriously you get taken. Jesus.
BUT UH THEY COULD NOT IGNORE THE BLINDNESS. Like I don’t care how teenage girl-y you are, it is not normal to go blind on the regular! My doctors could not figure out what the hell was happening. And I do mean doctors. I got POTS when I was around 10, along with my period. I was diagnosed when I was almost 18. In the meantime, I was passed around between dozens of doctors and honestly? I was a guinea pig. They didn’t know what was wrong with me so I was subjected to constant barrage of tests and treatments that made me a hell of a lot sicker. I was going to like 3 different doctors a week, sometimes every day. There are very few medical tests I have not had at least once. Some of the treatments they tried, I later learned, carried a strong risk of addiction, permanent neurological damage, and death. I was a drugged-out mess trying to drag myself through 15 flavors of physical therapy every day. Like uh. In short, my teenage years weren’t…good…
I finally got referred to like my sixth neurologist, and the guy was like “okay, you have been passed around between neurologists, cardiologists, ENTs, sleep disorder specialists, etc. for YEARS and we don’t know what’s wrong, so it makes no sense to keep ‘treating’ you – so I’m gonna take some readings and send them (and you) to a research hospital”. And that’s what he did! He took me off all of my medications (leading to the kind of DTs that honestly possibly could have killed me; I researched a few of the medications later and let’s just say you’re not supposed to go off them cold turkey) and did some tests. He found out some stuff like my blood pressure moves around a lot when I stand up. And sometimes my blood pressure was as low as 60/40. (Yo, that’s almost dead. The nurse took the reading three times with two different machines bc she was freaking out, lmao.) So he referred me to Mayo Clinic.
Now, what I did not know before this was that Mayo was actually the clinic that had discovered (and still researched) POTS! They saw a lot of girls like me. They took some blood, did a few tests, and when I had my appointment with them, they knew in under a half hour that I had POTS. I…cried. A lot. haha. It was so bizarre how many things in my life were actually an indicator of POTS. They were like “do you often sit all folded up?” and I basically exclusively do – and often got in trouble for it in school – and they were like “yeah, that’s POTS, you unconsciously try to keep all your limbs tucked in to reduce how far your blood needs to go”. Which is, I guess, why I tend to lose sensation in my legs and/or have my feet turn purple when I sit in normal chairs. lol. “Do you ever get dizzy or black out when you stretch or yawn?” oh yeah. “Do you get really sick when you take hot showers?” almost died once or twice, check! “Do you get weak when you lift things above your head?” you betcha. “Do you have a lot of problems with heat and sunlight?” OH YES I DO. Living in Florida was hell. I’d be vomiting and unable to stand up after like 30 minutes outside in the summer. I still vomit and get migraines if I look at a sunset, when the sun is strongest. Sensory sensitivity, especially photosensitivity, is a thing with POTS.
The actual diagnosis of POTS is kind of difficult. They usually have to do a ton of tests to rule everything else out first. Then they’ll usually try a tilt-table test (they tilt ya and measure your heart rate to see if your heartbeat skyrockets to help battle your blood doing weird shit) or a sweat test (which I am told is supposed to be painless but was one of the most painful experiences of my life so maybe it was a POTS thing) or look at your pee and see if you’re hella dehydrated. If you have POTS, you’re pretty much always hella dehydrated. (Gross but important: a symptom I never mentioned bc I didn’t know how abnormal it was it burned like HELL when I peed. Turns out I was grossly, dangerously dehydrated. My urine was so concentrated that it was literally burning my urethra. idk how this slipped by so many doctors, but drink some dang water!) So it’s really a combination of tests for diagnosis, and they have to know to look for it in the first place! More and more doctors know about POTS now, but when I was first diagnosed almost a decade ago (this February! :’) when I went to college none of the school doctors knew about it. My family doctor didn’t know. None of my specialists knew about it. They wouldn’t give me student vaccinations bc they didn’t know how they’d interact with my brain. lol. It’s better now, though! I recently got a new doctor when I left my school’s health system, and she knew what POTS was! I was so happy, haha. Once I had a doctor literally google it right in front of me, so it was uh. A welcome change.
All this is to say that getting POTS diagnosed can be hell!! And I could definitely buy that you’re 21 and haven’t yet been diagnosed, especially if you’re female. My recommendation is this: the main treatment for POTS is diet and exercise, and that can’t hurt even if you don’t have POTS. I shit you not. There’s no cure or anything, but you are supposed to drink A LOT of water (I drink over a gallon a day, and that’s on days I’m not dealing with the sun) and eat a LOT of salt (”as much as you can stand” was their exact wording) and wear compression clothing (spanx and compression socks help me) and try to keep your body as toned as possible. It’s really easy to get out of shape when you have POTS (god knows I did), but they recommend trying to keep your blood moving. (THOUGH, CAVEAT!! I put on a lot of weight since I got diagnosed, and I have to admit. It’s gotten my blood pressure to a healthier level. So idrk what to make of that.)
I’m not gonna tell you to start eating massive amounts of salt when I don’t know your body, but drinking water can’t hurt you. So if you suspect that you may have POTS, start drinking water. This is not a replacement for a treatment plan, but it can’t hurt you! It can only help! So while you’re working with your doctor, just drink a lot of water and see if it helps you feel better. It is like night and fucking day with me.
Finally, POTS has a high comorbidity rate with other issues. In other words, if you have a severe case of POTS, you probably don’t only have POTS. A common illness to have with POTS is EDS, or Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It’s a type of hypermobility, which may be why your doctor is concerned. (I don’t have EDS, probably, but I do have some pain/movement issues that they’ve never been able to pin down, so there’s probably…something. idk.)
Here’s my advice. Work with your doctor to try and figure things out. Drink water. Make sure you have a good doctor whom you trust. Even after I got diagnosed, I regularly got medical professionals who believed this shit was all in my head. And try not to worry. Like I said, for most people who have it, POTS is extremely mild. If you change your lifestyle, you might not see many symptoms at all, and if you do, well. Work with that trusted doctor. Hit me up. I know a lot of ways to get a lot of salt in your body. lol

Thank u so much for answering my questionss!!!!😍😘♥️☺
And here comes another 2 questions😂 sorry....
1. whats your backstory on sienna elijah jackie bryce raf aurora and kyra? Like whom do they get married to /stay in relationship with do they have kids and the fellowships they took? And places the settle? Do nic and ethan meet them again after they move out of boston?
2. How do u want the i love you to go in canon???
Ship names : nicolan, namsey, nithan, valesey, valehan, nican, nicon😂, nian, vathan etc... u can use the ship name generator on Google if u want☺
You are welcome, anon! And, I'm going to answer more! Even though it's been ages since I got this ask...I'm gonna do it for you right now! 🥰 Beware...this is reaaaallly long so I'm going to include a 'keep reading' cut. Hope you enjoy!
1. So, what happens to the OH gang after Edenbrook? Hmmm...
So, Sienna...I see her staying at Edenbrook and specialising in pediatric internal medicine (or swapping to pediatrics) as that's all she's been doing in OH3 and I definitely see her working with kids as she's mostly happy with them. She finds a sweet volunteer at the hospital who worships the ground she walks on (and who's at least a foot taller than her). They both hit it off over a mutual love of animals and baking (he's a pastry chef) and after a few years of dating, they get married, move to the outskirts of Boston, settle down, have a daughter and then two twin boys (she follows Nicolette in having twins) and then another daughter. Sienna then becomes a top pediatric attending who furthers her education and quickly becomes Deputy Head of Internal Medicine for Children at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Elijah: He goes full time into research and lands a fellowship with the top research hospital in the US- the Mayo Clinic -and a few years after that, he becomes a full-fledged attending, in internal medicine but with a particular focus on his personal condition and to see if he can modify it to help others like him. His results are so successful that he leads the research in finding other conditions that have a better chance at being found in-utero.
Bryce: He stays at Edenbrook until the end of his residency and becomes Cheif Resident while completing it and then gets a prestigious surgical fellowship to John Hopkins and he does his fellowship there and specialises in General Surgery. I see him working at John Hopkins for a few years, get's married to a cute fellow Hawaiian girl (who's a psychiatrist as they met at JH) and then they both decide to move back to Boston when Bryce gets the prestigious position of Head of Surgery. His wife pops out a few kinds and then they both decide that they want to go back to Hawaii and so they do and that's where they stay to raise their kids and continue their careers.
Kyra: Hmm...considering we haven't seen her all of OH3 and PB wiped their hands of her, my headcanon says that she travels the world for a few years (she's still in remission), eventually finds a nice lass in England whom she finds hilarious and can call her out on the smallest things (which she freaking adores) and can keep up with her adventurous spirit so she decides to stay in England, get's a job at an accounting firm. She and her girlfriend live in London for a few years before they both decide to get married and live a few miles outside of London (probably somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Burmingham, maybe? idk lol). Kyra visits the States on occasion and when she does she always makes sure to see Nicolette but she has dual citizenship and she travels to and from either country when she can. She can never miss seeing all her nieces and nephews!
Jackie: I see Jackie staying at Edenbrook even after her boards and she becomes the best in her field and she becomes the best teacher around for the young interns that grace the atrium of Edenbrook. She ends up meeting and falling in love with an old girlfriend from her home town and she moves to the suburbs with her (as her girlfriend is an artist) and commutes to work each day just so her significant other has the freedom to do her art in her own workshop that Jackie found when they were looking for a house to buy. She still keeps in touch with Jade and she always sees Nicolette and Sienna twice every two months. I see Jackie adopting some kids from her home country that she absolutely adores. She becomes Head of Diagnostics at Edenbrook after Nicolette moves away with Ethan.
Raf: Well...in my head, I see Raf ultimately staying at Edenbrook for a few more years until he decides that he's helped as many people as he can (go on a new adventure) and decides to take the Marauders up on their offer of being their full-time physiotherapist. He enjoys the games and the comradery of the team and he makes some good friends. He's with the team for two years before he meets a Brazilian woman who sets his heart aflame (the team set them up on a blind date) and they instantly connect over their shared interests (both being in the same profession). They both hit it off. After two years of dating, they get married, have three kids, move to Boston (near Raf's Abuela) and settle down while having their own t business while raising their kids.
Aurora: I see her passing her boards, doing a fellowship at the most prestigious and top teaching hospital in the world (all with her own talent and knowledge). She becomes the top internal medicine attending at her hospital (idk which one yet haha) and when she finally finishes her fellowship and is an attending for a few years she moves back to Boston and wants to start a family of her own and decides to adopt. She finds an orphaned Nigerian girl and immediately falls in love with her. She settles into her life with her, buys Ethan's old apartment (for a reduced price of course - mates rates and all that haha). Aurora isn't looking for a relationship per se until she meets an old college buddy (even if she hated college lol) and they hit it off and start dating. Aurora's girlfriend instantly falls in love with Aurora's daughter and that's when Aurora knows that she's a keeper. As a couple, they adopt one or two more. Aurora becomes Cheif of Medicine at Edenbrook and her kids follow in her footsteps. Aurora definitely makes sure she makes time for them. That's the most important thing - family and friends. Aurora sees Nicolette from time to time but, they are both so busy in their respective careers that they only see each other once or twice a year if that but they still text. Ethan and Nicolette definitely see the OH gang from time to time (Nicolette can't go without texting them at least once a week or month to check up on them). After the third cancellation from one of the friends, Nicolette puts her foot down and demands that they all meet up at the restaurant where they had their 'roomie dinner' and they all catch each other up with what's happening in each of their lives. Ethan tags along become he's basically part of the gang lol. ***
2. How do I want the ILY to go? Hmm... I don't really...know considering the next chapter is the last. I don't want it to just be out of the blue just because it's finishing. PB has had plenty of time to drop the ILY bomb but they never did and it was a wasted opportunity. I don't want it to be just because the MC is leaving. I want it to be genuine and full of feeling but with PB's track record and mediocre writing as of late, I don't know what to expect right now haha. Oooh! Those are all good ship names but I'll see the ship-name google generator and see what it comes up with haha. Thank you! Pheww...that's it! Thanks for this ask anon! I had fun using my brain 😂 I probably repeat myself but I just spat this out in an hour so yeah lol. Hope you enjoyed it!

Liposuction Information
  Frequently Asked Questions
QUESTION: Liposuction information? I'm considering doing liposuction. I know, it's kind of "cheating" to losing weight, but I'm at a point, I'm so self-concious, that I don't even want to leave the house to work out. I grew up living out in the country, and now I live in a crouded neighborhood, I'm not comfortable to even walk, let alone jog around.
Anyways, back to the subject, what all do I need to know? What kind of price would I belooking at? I definately wouldn't be doing anythng local, I live in Georgia, so I would go to either Atlanta or somewhere in Florida probably.
I'm about 6'0, male, 19 years old, no real health problems except the obesity thing, I weigh about 260 lbs.
ANSWER: Liposuction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
  Hope this helps.
QUESTION: Can you give me some information on lip liposuction? How much would it cost to have some of my lower lip removed? Is there no other way to fix my big lip?
ANSWER: Get liposuction surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.
my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including tummy tuck procedures through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.
QUESTION: can someone give me some information about having liposuction on the buttocks area? has anyone out there had it done? are you happy with the results? how long did you take to heal + get back to normal?
ANSWER: I've got some information about it. Firstly you should be altleast 18 to have it done. If you're younger you should wait until you get 18 but if it have some effects on you socially or its hard for to do some activies otr study , you can have it.
When you get to have it, your body will be fully anesthesied, you shouldn't worry but ofcourse you will nervous. to heal... the first week you will be on bed then you should start walking and from there you can go on normal.
Well most of the patients are happy with it and couldn't pass a mirror without looking at thier perfect body. But we also advise them to follow a healthy diet which will help thier body to be inshape.
QUESTION: Can somebody please give me links on information on liposuction? I need this information for a school project...
ANSWER: Try looking under Mayo Clinic or Plastic Surgery or Reconstructive surgery. Another alternative would be to see if you get a few minutes to talk to a doctor and let him know why you need the information. They normally have big egos and would love to talk to you.
You can also call the office of one and ask the receptionist if they have any brochures on the topic you are interested in. They normally have a lot of printed material.
Good luck. would like to have it for myself. Let me know what you find out! lol
QUESTION: Facial liposuction : information? Hello,

Max International: Just another miracle pill scam? [Review]
Science-based products are today’s miracle pill…
Throw the word “science” around enough, and you’re automatically legitimized.
So you have to wonder if Max International’s glutathione wonder-pills are just another miracle pill scam.
There really is a whiff of snake oil and phony doctors, but we’ll let you decide one way or the other.
Max International is a wellness network marketing company founded in Utah offering health products that increase glutathione production in the body. Glutathione is real and it really does keep your body healthy and young, but is it enough to sustain an MLM?
Here’s what you need to know.
FAQ
1. What does Max International sell? Max International calls themselves the glutathione company. They sell scientifically-proven supplements that are safe and effective for weight loss, skin treatments, and better health and wellness. To achieve this lofty goal, they look to glutathione, an antioxidant that exists inside every one of the cells in the human body.
2. What are Max International’s most popular products? Cellgevity and Max GXL are their top two products. Cellgevity is designed to help your body produce its own glutathione, providing 12 nutrients that give your body the nutrients they need to do so. Max GXL has an N-acetyl-cysteine (NAC) formula that helps your body maintain its levels of glutathione. Together, they help your body defend against harmful influences such as free radicals, chemical toxins, and heavy metals.
3. How much does it cost to join Max International? To join Max Associates, you’ll pay a one-time enrollment fee of $49. That gives you sales materials, a welcome brochure, and a USB to help you get started. You’ll also pay an annual fee of $25 to maintain your virtual office with the company. What’s not clear is whether there’s any cost beyond this initial investment. (There usually is, and we dug up some of the hidden costs,” which you’ll see in our review below.) But we don’t like that Max doesn’t give full disclosure before talking to a distributor about joining.
4. Is Max International a scam? Not likely. Glutathione is a legitimate health supplement, and Max International is selling real glutathione products based on scientific research. Now, are you likely to get rich as a Max International distributor? Again, not likely.
5. What is Max International’s BBB rating? A+
6. How long has Max International been in business? Since 2007
7. What is Max International’s revenue? $300 million
8. How many Max International distributors are there? About 7,000
9. What lawsuits have been filed? In 2008, Max International sued Solution X Technologies for trademark infringement. [1] In 2010, Tripharma sued Max International for patent infringement and trademark dilution. [2] In 2011, Max International settled a with Melaleuca, who accused Max International of poaching employees and encouraging them to breach contracts. The settlement was $1.2 million. [3] In 2017, former CEO Peter Nordberg was found guilty of tax evasion for two years. [4]
10. Comparable companies: PhytoScience, 4Life
Turns out, Max International’s med cred might actually be somewhat legit, but there are definitely better ways out there to earn passive income and gain financial independence.
Click here for my #1 recommendation
Either way, here’s the full review on Max International.
Overview
Max International – or “The Glutathione Company” – was launched in 2007 by three entrepreneurs and direct marketers: Steven K. Scott, Fred Ninow, and Gregory Fullerton. They’re headquartered in, of course, Utah.
Less than a decade later, Scott is the only original founder who’s still around. The other two seem to have moved on and launched other companies already. Clearly, they really believe in the vision and goals of Max International.
Scott’s founding story starts back in 2007 when he met Dr. Robert H. Keller, who is supposedly a renowned research scientist and medical doctor. On Scott’s website, he claims that Keller is an immunologist, oncologist, and hematologist, and has written over 100 peer-reviewed articles.
They met at Chuck Norris’s home (LOL, sorry, can’t hold in the laugh on that one), and Dr. Keller whipped out some studies he’d been doing on a new nutritional formula that increases Glutathione production with phenomenal results for the user’s health.
This Dr. Keller sounds pretty incredible – dude is like three doctors in one. And according to his Curriculum Vitae, his education and training is actually legit. He got undergraduate and Masters degrees in Biology from Fordham University and then went on to get his MD from Temple University. He’s been a faculty member at the Mayo Clinic, University of Wisconsin, and Medical College of Wisconsin, among other places. [5]
Unfortunately, the company has come up against a handful of lawsuits in the past. They had to pay a $1.2 million settlement in 2011 to Melaleuca for poaching Melaleuca’s sales reps. In the same year, they came under fire for supposedly infringing upon patents that Tripharma held in one of their products, but this claim hasn’t been proven.
Max International’s mission is “to empower people to build a legacy of significant change in their lives and the lives of others.”
How much does Max International cost?
It costs $49 to become an independent distributor for Max International. There is also a $25 annual renewal fee.
Product packs vary in price based on how much product you want to keep in stock. The larger ones give you access to some extra FastTrack bonuses.
Personal Pack: $130-$179
Professional Pack: $549
Premiere Pack: $999
You also have to hit 100 PV each month to stay qualified.
Products
Max International sells nutritional products based on the concept of increasing the body’s glutathione production.
According to Steven K. Scott, glutathione is “the cell’s first line of defense and even reduces inflammation at a cellular level.”
Max International has fully disclosed all of their product ingredients, and they’ve posted a number of independent studies and clinical trials to back the health benefits they claim.
Their flagship product, Max GXL, costs $85 for a 30-day supply. Other products include a performance boosting drink, an immunity boosting supplement, a weight loss program, and skincare products.
Benefits:
A study done by nutrition faculty at Texas A&M in 2004 showed that glutathione production has the following benefits:
Antioxidant defense
Metabolism regulation
Cellular regulation
Anti-aging
Increased immunities and protection against disease [6]
Another study was published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine in 2011 in which 40 adult volunteers with acute or chronic disease were given glutathione supplements for 4 weeks. The study concluded that there were no differences in oxidative stress biomarkers between treatment groups, and measures of glutathione in participants were also unchanged.
Basically, the supplements had no significant effects on participants. [7]
Side Effects:
Some reported side effects of long-term glutathione consumption include:
Lower zinc levels
Wheezing
Unknown effects on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding [8]
Compensation Plan
Max International offers a pretty extensive 90-day training program, which is key to banking it with any MLM (see the full rankings). If you come in with no sales and marketing knowledge, and the company doesn’t take the time to train you (which most MLMs don’t), you’re not going anywhere.
There are nine ways to earn with the Max International compensation plan.
Retail Profits
Distributors make the difference between wholesale and retail price on personal sales.
Preferred Customer Bonus
These are extra commissions earned for customers that are on autoship.
FastTrack Bonus
FastTrack bonuses are offered on a weekly basis every time you personally sponsor a new recruit who buys their start-up pack.
Personal Pack purchases net you a $15-$60 bonus.
Professional Pack purchases net you a $75 bonus.
Premiere Pack purchases net you a $150 bonus.
Double FastTrack Bonus
If you sell three Premiere or Professional packs in a month to new associates that you personally sponsored, your FastTrack bonus doubles.
Team Bonus
Team bonuses are given out to you based on the sales performance of your downline in a binary structure. You get 10% of the commissionable volume that your weaker leg generates each month.
Unlimited Seven-Level Matching Check Bonus
This bonus offers up to 50% on the team commissions of anyone you personally recruited down to 7 levels.
Platinum and Diamond Leadership Pool
These are the high roller, livin’ large, penthouse-with-a-pool bonuses. If you can get all the way up to Platinum and Diamond ranks, you can start ranking in some pretty sweet bonuses.
Global Bonus Pool
This bonus comes from 2% of the company’s global CV and is given out to affiliates who have grown their team’s weaker leg as compared to the previous month.
Max Living Bonus
These are passive earnings that affiliates at the rank of Platinum or higher can earn.
Platinum: $500/month
Diamond: $750/month
Double Diamond: $1,000/month
Triple Diamond or higher: $1,500/month
Recap
Max International seems to be one of those rare nutritional MLMs that actually has real science and doctors backing their products, which not all companies can claim (hint: Vasayo). However, there really hasn’t been enough conclusive evidence to show that glutathione supplements do WONDERS for your health, especially to justify paying $85/month.
My guess is that most people are paying that just for the rights to resell products and recruit a team of affiliates – they want to get rich quick.
Look, I’ve been involved with network marketing for over ten years so I know what to look for when you consider a new opportunity.
After reviewing 200+ business opportunities and systems out there, here is the one I would recommend:

god help us all i typed up 1.2k words ??? about one thing, who does that
a theory or something ??? about how sherlock would perceive emotions and whether or not it's "inhibited" or "difficult to accomplish" or simply because of the spectrum/aspergers/antisocial personality disorder he might have—or his ridiculously high IQ (190ish? stated to be ~30 points higher than einstein). 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 a lot of people think that sherlock might be on the spectrum and have autism (or: autism spectrum disorder (ASD)), and would have difficulty recognizing emotion/feeling empathetic towards people because of it, but research shows that it's not JUST autism that inhibits this ability. it alexithymia that goes hand-in-hand with ASD and makes it difficult. there's also the possibility of aspergers, which is still on the spectrum, and then actual sociopathy. first, we should clear up specifically what autism is. it's repeatedly stated across the whole of the internet that autism is a complex developmental disability, and that it inhibits people's abilities to communicate verbally, socially interact, have executive functioning (planning and reasoning), keep a conversation, etc.; stammering, unable to speak/explain, avoiding eye contact, having difficulty learning language etc., is how it manifests. it obviously comes in many forms though (thus "spectrum"). autism is accompanied by other mental disorders/physical incapabilities, and can put kids who have a more severe form of it in some sort of special edu course throughout school. but people identify sherlock with more of having difficulty of identifying or emphasizing with emotions. so, clearly, the correlation of the fandom's "sherlock holmes is autistic" theory and sherlock holmes himself is a bit off, because it's never felt like it was simply just that. his self-claimed title of "high-functioning sociopath" (or: antisocial personality disorder [ASPD]) could be his way or saying "asperger's syndrome", or perhaps it's a self-diagnosis; he doesn't have much psychological knowledge. it's an understandable mix up, they have similar characteristics: compulsive behavior, aggression, impulsivity, and anger. but AD is more like ASD than ASPD. they have limited mood and behavioral symptoms commodities. sociopathy is more characterized by a major lack of empathy, sympathy, feeling generally discontent and angry, and bored. sherlock's IQ puts him in a level of genius not seen before, and much of the material available could make him bored, which has lead to anger/agitation and even lack of empathy. but he could've also been misdiagnosed; i vaguely remember him replying with "i was told" to john's question of "why do think that?" i couldn't find a proper source for this, though it might've been stated in between THoB and trf. in addition to this, alexithymia limits a persons ability to recognize emotion via facial and vocal expressions. ~50% of people with autism has it so, of course, people without proper knowledge and understanding will assume that autistic people can't be empathetic. it's the opposite, really. only handfuls of autistic people have a bit more difficulty than usual. there are cases with autistic people not having alexithymia and alexithymic people not having autism. aspergers and sociopathy aren't common combinations with these, as they are somewhere else in both psychology and the spectrum, and are often only mixed up. but he has an unspecified but notable extent of knowledge of biochemical reactions. he can recognize love in irene adler, and understands that negative feelings impact situations and motivation greatly in comparison to sentiment. he states in asip himself that "bitterness is a paralytic" and that "love is a far more vicious motivator". so, yes, he can recognize it and see it. all the same, he could use this knowledge to determine why and how the bank was so cleverly robbed or why some katie mcdonald was killed this way or that. it's entirely acceptable, too—his mind is a hard drive to store things, and he struggles with substance abuse while in difficult emotional situations. mary's death/john's distance is a prime example in tld. but substance abuse is a common symptom of ASPD. it's not an unknown factor or anything; in fact, drug use tends to lead to apathetic disorders if it goes on unstoppably. it might have been a problem with sherlock in his teen years. teen depression/depressive mood disorder (etc.) is a little side note on this part that might've induced the need for cocaine, since it releases those happy endorphins in your neurons. the usage could also be used because sherlock does have a tendency to get unbearably bored; getting high has always been an implied alternative until he became the world's only consulting detective, and it's been stated directly from his mouth in hlv (we all remember that lol). i've stated in little bits and pieces that his IQ could be the sole influence of his perception of himself/the world around him. it's at a whopping 190, which is approx. 30 points higher than albert einstein. it's an impressive feat—we all know how einstein's scientific discoveries pushed us forward by leaps and bounds, and his quotes do make us think (if it's not disney or whatever some people slap next to his pictures). it's clear that he saw the world vastly differently than the people of his time, and maybe even ours. isaac newton did, too, and many others who could push our society as a whole to where we are today (specifically, in european/american roots). so who's to say that sherlock holmes, with a ~190 IQ, sees the world like us with lower IQs? he gets bored/restless easily because his thoughts are likely questions he or many other people just don't have answers for, and his curiosity gets the worst of the situation and the best of sherlock. it's entirely acceptable to say how he experiences things is just as different. it's all about perception. therefore, when he sees an emotion, he knows exactly how to react. he just doesn't (assuming it's because of his IQ and not something psychological). it's likely his childhood trauma with the loss of redbeard; it happened late enough in his recallable life that it would be a root of mental messes in his teen and adulthood, but it was also early enough in his life that his brain—unable to comprehend loss—turned victor trevor into a dog. because the loss of a dog is better than the loss of a best friend at such a young age. overall, alexithyma combined with autism has a (warning:personal opinion) lower chance of being in sherlock than anything. sociopathy has an even lower chance, because he doesn't show sentimentality like an actual sociopath would. aspergers feels more natural, but then so does his IQ count affecting his emotional perception. in fact, that last part of the statement can especially be applied to mycroft and eurus. a higher IQ does tend to lead to a lack of motivation and so and so, but they would need actual disorders to get to a socially dumbfounded/socially inhibited place. eurus likely has some sort of form of severe aspergers, or maybe even ASPD, but then that would imply sherlock and mycroft has it too—she has no reason to be nurtured into sociopathy other than the dangers of her own IQ, but nature (psychopathy) is never limited to one child…but uuuuuugh, fucking mofftiss. (just a personal thought tho lol) i'm liking the aspergers idea a lot, though, because it has literally been explained by reliable sources that it's on the more "high-functioning" end of the spectrum, and people are debilitated by it only because they take idioms and such seriously—though sherlock doesn't display this prominently nor loudly. he shows his confusion maybe once or twice and doesn't do a very good job at recognizing sarcasm or social cues. john does it for him to save his social status. he probably understands it scientifically or maybe even socially with a helluva lot of practice, but chooses to ignore it because it takes him a second too long to recognize it. it could also be an insecurity. i feel like it'd be more of a mix between the two. so, with time, he might be able to get a hint or actually figure it out, but not quickly enough in verbal irony or situational irony, and so on. not to mention, john is the one he's mostly around, and is the conduit of his sociable responses. the heart to the brain and all. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 anyways, just some thoughts :) i'm terrible at responding nicely.. but has only got any advice to maybe refine this ????? i'm a newbie lmao 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈 some sources: https://ghr.nlm.nih.gov/condition/asperger-syndrome http://www.autism-society.org/what-is/ https://spectrumnews.org/opinion/viewpoint/people-with-autism-can-read-emotions-feel-empathy/ +mayo clinic +autism speaks +sherlock episodes +google +me ???? +because my dumbass forgets to leave the sources o p e n

Did you know that for men, a healthy lifestyle can lead to an improved sex life, and that a healthy sex life often has positive effects on overall health? It is no surprise then, thetas the natural aging process progresses, maintaining physical and sexual health often takes on added importance. One of the most common, frustrating sexual health challenges men face is erectile dysfunction (ED). ED happens for all manner of reasons, but the result is always the same – an inability to achieve and maintain a firm, full, healthy erection. The good news is that there are natural male enhancement pills available, which fight ED, improve sexual health, and improve overall well-being.
What is ED, and why does it happen?
• Erectile dysfunction (ED) is caused, physically, by two primary factors: lack of blood flow to the penis, and low levels of testosterone. The result is an inability to maintain a firm, full erection. ED can happen to men who are completely active and healthy, affecting those of all ages and lifestyles.
• ED is so common because it has a wide variety of causes. Poor circulation, for example, can be instigated by high cholesterol, blocked arteries, poor nutrition, lack of exercise, diabetes, and other common health issues. Outside factors like stress, anxiety and lack of sleep can also cause ED. Finally, medications, especially those for anxiety, depression, blood pressure and heart issues, can all be responsible for ED. Of course, many of the causes on that list are influenced by one another, which is why overall health and sexual health tend to go hand-in-hand.
Healthy Lifestyles Lead to Healthy Erections
• If you are experiencing ED, there are a number of small lifestyle changes that can eliminate the problem. The first is regular exercise, which relieves stress, boosts energy, improves mood, and is great for sexual health.
• It’s also important to give your body the right fuel. Be sure to eat a healthy breakfast, and try to seek healthy meals throughout the day. You don’t have to give up all of your favorite foods, as small, incremental changes often lead to big results.
• Don’t forget that your body needs time to rest. Aim for seven or eight hours of restful sleep each night, and try to take mental breaks occasionally throughout the day by breathing deeply and clearing your mind in a quiet place.
Vitality Male Enhancement Pills
• Vitality male enhancement pills are all-natural, with ingredients that have been used to great effect for centuries. Korean Red Ginseng, Mace, Horny Goat Weed, and TribulisTerrestris combine to offer many sexual health benefits, including boosted libido, improved blood flow, healthy, strong erections, and increased testosterone, to name a few. These ingredients also have other healthful benefits, like improved overall energy, enhanced immune system function and reduced fatigue.
In the end, the best way to get the healthy, happy sex life you desire is a combination of living a healthy lifestyle, and taking advantage of the time-tested, natural ingredients in Vitality male enhancement pills.
Increase testosterone available, which fight ED, improve sexual health, and improve overall well-being. Check more details about panax ginseng.
