Doctors fucked me over so bad I just learned that one of my symptoms actually has a name and is common with a diagnosis like mine.

If only it wasn't blamed on me wanting to skip school, I would have been diagnosed long before the flare that put my ass in the hospital for a week and has consequences years later.

not sure of you posted it yet but what do you think Val and Dalla would dress like?

I’ve said that the free folk’s clothing is fairly plain and practical, and is more akin to the brown furs and leathers of the Inuit people, but I really couldn’t help myself here with Val. Like clearly it’s not as neat as these inspo pics but I like to think it’s somewhat similar to the all white fits Miss Princess Beyond The Wall wears. With furs and small symbols/decorations of her status

I think Dalla is always incredibly bundled up, even more so than common beyond the wall, probably due to Mance’s insistence that she stay warm while pregnant. She’s also a small woman I think, so she just looks very tiny in all her clothes. Lots of layers of fur, and always a hat of some sort. Extra embroidery because she has plenty of time to decorate while she’s laid up

wow it's been A While since i experienced Acute Sick Privilege, ie: the rare privilege where you're the kind of chronically ill that doctors Actually Do Take Very Seriously. anyway i just walked into my doctor's office & within 15 minutes i had prescriptions for antibiotics, multiple inhalers, and a heavier course of prednisone than i've ever been on in my Life.

Is it okay if I use my crutches like weight supports rather than fully weight bearing?

I tried using them to fully take the weight off my legs but my upper arm and core strength aren't strong enough to handle that weight transfer, at least for now. (Example)

The video says at the end if you can't do that you're better off using a wheelchair, which I do but obviously can't use it in the field which is why I got the crutches.

I've been using them as like...extra legs so I can distribute my weight equally throughout my body/the crutches rather than use my upper arm strength to take all the weight off my legs.

When I first used them in public I got looks and my bf said that he doesn't think that's the right way to use them.

I definitely feel more stable having them and walking is easier, but I don't want to be using them in a way that is harmful to myself or offensive to other crutch users.

ive never got the desire for extreme realism in a fantasy setting because it always seems to be for the sake of "Well its not good if it doesn't have these specific details". It feels maddening to ask but like what purpose does your desire for realism serve? If its your writers fetish, excellent carry on; i hope you find some like minded perverts. But if you're slavishly pursuing realism instead of creating something that thermatically aligns with the story you want to convey maybe you should take a step back and examine your instincts

belial is the worst tsc villian ever because his motivations make no sense and are quite frankly stupid. why did he spend a whole book putting an enormous amount of effort into possessing Jesse and killing a grand total of five people and very briefly summoning his brother to earth to fight one (1) Institute... like in what way did any of that help achieve his ultimate goal of crowning himself King of England I don't get it. mind you he's a literal Prince of Hell and claims he's the one who gave Lucifer the idea to rebel against God like truly why does he care this much 💀

context: I’ve got some autoimmune symptoms that are flaring up at the moment and there’s one I like to call Hot Hands Hour and it’s when my hands get so inflamed and red that only dunking them in cold water can help (not ice, too extreme a temp, I tried and it only made it worst lmao)
