Concept for a Star Wars comedy: "On Buir-rowed Time".
It's a show about a really mando-ass mando who happens to be really fucking terrified about the prospect of parenthood and flees into seedy deep space to escape responsibility go bounty hunting.
All the action scenes are played straight with 100% badassery, but they every episode they come across an increasingly adoptable orphan which they must now desperately try to find their people to hand them back to before they're forced to adopt them.
Every episode includes their nana-buir (with a frilly beskar apron and a hair net over their helmet) calling them on the holo to ask why they haven't given them any foundlings yet. Whilst doing homely domestic tasks with extremely dangerous weaponry.

Watched/listened to the episodes where Mandalore came under Maul’s rule and Satine died. I felt nothing for her or Bo-Katan. I felt for the people. Only the people. Also the confession?
Reminded me of Castiel’s ‘confession’ to Dean. I watched it again and it still reminded me of that scene.
Obi-Wan loved her yes, but I see it as a friend. Same with Satine. They are two different people and I just don’t see the ship.
Heck! Obi-Wan has more chemistry with Padme and even Anakin than he does Satine.
Satine and Bo-Katan have done just as much as Jango has in hurting their people.
If you can’t forgive Jango for what he’s done, you also can’t forgive the two Kryze sisters.

I’m thinking about how a tribe of Mandalorians and Yautja would function together since undoubtedly there are going to be members of both groups who see each other as appealing - bc both do covet good skills in hunting and in fighting in similar ways. Traditions that get combined, ways of communicating and language becoming something beyond what they knew, hell even raising children would change when coming together.
Is this how I write a fanfic completely made up of original characters to serve my curiosity?

These are the people that, in the whole universe, can call Anakin Skywalker out on his bullshit:
Obi-Wan Kenobi (this iffies a lot because Obi-Wan will call Anakin out and then go do the exact same thing.)
Captain Rex
Commander Cody
Admiral Firmus Piett
General Maximilian Veers
Commander Fox
Mace Windu (to his displeasure alot of times since he has to deal with the fall out)
Plo Koon (He dad's everyone so when he gives you the LOOK, you know you're in trouble.)
There are only a four who can call Obi-Wan out:
Mace (see above)
Plo (see above again)
Cody
Alpha 17
Ahsoka can't call either out because she does what they do. Padme is a hard no because they just pout at her or give her tooku eyes, same with Bail. (Plus, Padme is not good for Anakin and he for her. So they're not getting together here. They're friends though.) Breha could but she lets that up to the others. She has a whole planet to run.
Satine is also a hard no because she gets called out on her bullshit. Not to mention she has to justify what she has done to everyone that followed the warrior ways (which is more than just bounty hunters and etc) to Dooku and Jaster and the combination of Jedi and True Mandalorians (the genocide of the TM never happened and while yes, Jango became a slave still and yes, Montross betrayed them, Jaster lived. The Vode still happened but they and Jango were found when the CCs were still babies. The Alphas and Nulls were only two (how far apart are they really?), the rest were still in development stages but they all got born.
There is one person who can and will call everyone out on their bullshit. Including Yoda. (This isn't including the wondering Jedi who can do so with ease.)
Shmi (she's the mom and while she might be young compared to Plo and etc, when she calls you out, like Plo, you know you're in trouble.) (Shmi is also the only one who can and will bully Dooku (let's say his family died out here) into caring for himself. He won't admit it but she's his favorite. Especially since Shmi brought Komari back to the fold.)
Shmi is the Lady and no, I won't change my mind.

Wild Heart, Hidden Light
Chapter Three. Into the Shadows.
The Jedi Temple was a bastion of hope, but Taryn Kael had already seen too much of the galaxy’s darkness. Her Master often led her on missions across various planets, and each adventure was a lesson in survival, combat, and the complexities of the Force. Together with his former Padawan, they confronted pirates, mercenaries, and even dark force users. Taryn thrived on the thrill of battle, her instincts driving her to become a fierce warrior.
One mission brought them to the desolate planet of Korriban, where whispers of a pirate stronghold reached their ears. Reports of innocents being captured and exploited ignited a flame of justice within Taryn. The trio stealthily approached the fortress, their senses heightened, ready to strike.
As they infiltrated the stronghold, Taryn felt a strange chill in the air. It was an omen, one she couldn’t ignore. The darkness wrapped around the fortress like a shroud, whispering of danger ahead. They fought through guards and traps, Taryn leading the charge with a ferocity that left her Master and his former Padawan in awe.
But when they reached the innermost chamber, they were met not with pirates, but with a dark Force user cloaked in shadows. Taryn recognised him instantly—a figure she had encountered in her nightmares, a Sith Lord rumoured to have devoured the souls of innocents.
Her Master stepped forward, light sabre ignited, but before he could speak, the Sith struck, they battle ferociously, but the dark shadow got the upper hand and his light sabre pierces through Master Corvus Chest. Rhea, already injured, fell right after. Taryn watched in horror as her both Masters fell, lifeless, to the ground. Rage flooded her veins, drowning out the pain. She felt the beast within her roar to life, wild and untamed.
“No!” she screamed, her voice echoing off the walls. The world around her dimmed as her focus narrowed, and she unleashed her fury, drawing on the dark side of the Force. Her light sabres flared to life, the purple blades illuminating the chamber as she charged at the Sith.
The battle that followed was primal. Taryn fought like an animal cornered, every strike fuelled by her grief and anger. She moved with a speed and strength that stunned even the Sith. With a final, ferocious swing, she cleaved through him, the darkness dissipating like smoke.
But victory felt hollow. As she knelt beside her Master’s bodies, sorrow washed over her. She had embraced her wild side to avenge them, but the cost was steep. The darkness had tempted her, and she could feel its lingering presence within her.
When Taryn emerged from the fortress, bloodied and broken, she was met by the sight of her friends—the clones who had fought by her side. But something was wrong; their eyes were vacant, their expressions cold. Without warning, they turned their blasters on her.
“Execute Order 66,” a voice commanded, devoid of emotion.
Taryn’s heart raced as she realised the betrayal. “No! We’re friends!” she shouted, but her words fell on deaf ears. Instinct took over as she fought back, light sabres whirling as she deflected bolts and struck down her former comrades. It was a brutal battle, and every kill left a scar deeper than the last.
As the chaos engulfed her, Taryn felt her heart shatter. She was forced to slay the very brothers she had fought alongside, the pain of betrayal cutting deeper than any light sabre. With every fallen clone, she felt a piece of her soul die, the weight of her actions pressing down on her like a boulder.
In the midst of the turmoil, Taryn managed to escape into the wilds, the familiar terrain offering a bitter comfort. She was once again alone, the cries of the battle echoing in her mind, haunted by memories of her fallen comrades and her lost Master. Days turned into weeks as she roamed the forests, her heart heavy with grief and rage.
Yet, fate had other plans. One evening, while Taryn was tracking a group of wild boars, a band of Mandalorian warriors found her. They had seen her prowess and strength, and though wary of her wild nature, they recognised her potential.
“Join us,” one of them offered, his voice deep and commanding. “We could use someone like you. You fight like a beast, and we honour strength.”
Taryn hesitated, the memories of the Jedi Temple fresh in her mind. But the solitude was suffocating, and the thought of finding a new purpose began to kindle a spark of hope. “What would I have to do?” she asked, her voice cautious.
“Learn our ways,” the Mandalorian replied. “Fight with us. We fight for our own, and we don’t abandon family. This is the Way!”
The offer resonated with Taryn. She had lost so much, but perhaps she could find a new home among these warriors. With a deep breath, she nodded, feeling the wildness within her shift into something focused and fierce.
And so began her journey with the Mandalorian's. They trained her in their combat styles, teaching her the art of blaster usage and honing her physical prowess. Taryn adapted quickly, her instincts making her a formidable asset. She embraced their traditions, forging a new identity that blended her wildness with their disciplined fighting style.
With each mission alongside her new comrades, Taryn began to heal. She learned the importance of camaraderie, of fighting not just for oneself but for others. The scars of her past were still there, but they no longer defined her.
As she continued to grow, Taryn found herself reflecting on her journey. She still felt the pull of the dark side, but now she understood it as a part of her—not a master to serve, but a challenge to overcome. And deep within her heart, she held the memory of her fallen Master and the promise she had made to protect those she loved.
With the Mandalorian's by her side, Taryn Kael was no longer just a wild beast; she was a warrior ready to forge her own destiny. The galaxy was vast and treacherous, but she would navigate it with strength, fury, and a newfound sense of purpose. And perhaps, one day, she would return to the light.
...Or she just disappears into the wilds...;))
