very classic but summoning a demon to fuck you and he gets a little obsessed 🙏
Imagine Himbo Demon was one day just casually going about his business, torturing a mortal with the agonizing act of small talk when suddenly a flash of white explodes across his vision. The next thing he knows he’s standing in a magical circle of your own design and he can’t get out.
You ask if he’s an incubus and that’s when he notices the book in your hand, ‘How to Summon Incubi With Your Friends: The Party Guide.’ He also looks you over and notices how painstakingly pretty you are and thinks… he could be an incubus.
That night he has what he claims as the best sex of his eternal life, no doubt about it. The way your body moved as you rode him within an inch of his life made him swear he was being taken back to heaven. The way you tasted sweeter than the finest nectar till it burned permanently into his senses. Every last bit of you was addicting.
When the summoning spell’s time was coming to a close, the demon actually felt an ache at the idea of leaving you and your sweet, sweet holes. He tried to reach for you once more but with a flash of white he was back in hell. His heart and his cock aching for you.
The minute he can he’s scouring hell’s library for the book he saw in your grasp. He reads it like a man possessed, ironically, looking for the spell you must’ve used.
As he’s reading the book, an Incubus just so happens to look over at him. Sensing eyes on him he looks up and their gazes meet. The Incubus reads the cover of the book he has and his eyes widen. He begins slowly inching away from Himbo Demon before turning and quickly rushing off.
Himbo Demon tilts his head, curious as to why the Incubus gave such a reaction. But after a moment of brief confusion, he goes back to reading the book. His eyes brightening as he finds the spell.
That night he clumsily performs the spell. His mind foggy with lust. His cock red, angry, and dripping with precum as he thinks about drowning in your holes, lapping up your essence like it’s the only food he’ll ever need and then fucking you until you’re raw and swollen, only to soothe any pain with his tongue.
Himbo demon growls, reaching down and lazily stroking his cock with one hand and performing the spell with the other. Somehow by a true miracle, it works. He appears back in the same fading circle he appeared in last time. His eyes ignite with feral need and his gaze flickers around the low-lit room before a door opens and you come waltzing in wearing nothing but a towel.
“Miss me, baby?” He snarls in excitement, knowing now he has a way to keep coming back to you.
You yelp, jerking back against the wall in surprise. Not expecting the demon to be here again but you’re not exactly upset about it either. Himbo Demon smiles wickedly, but in truth he’s just so happy to see you! He moves at the speed of lightning and he’s on you in an instant. His tall lithe body caging you in against the wall. You exhale shakily, your body tingling with need and your belly churning with arousal as you glance down at his fat cock bobbing and dribbling with his own arousal.
The scent of you floods Himbo Demon’s senses and he growls, fangs flashing in the moonlight that peaks in from the window. Feeling beyond thrilled that the spell worked. That he can go to you whenever he feels like it now. So long as you keep the summoning circle up, that is. But he’s too focused on your new easy access to even try and realize that.
“Don’t worry, sweet human. I’ve found my way back to you and your glorious body. From now on we shall never be parted and I can properly fuck your weak mortal shell ragged as much as I desire. And there is much… much desire,” Himbo Demon rasps heatedly, looking down at you with a fire in his eyes.
Before you can even think to respond, the demon is shredding your towel into two, revealing your body to him in all its glory. He barely takes the time to appreciate the view and suddenly he’s pressing into, rubbing his length along the height of your belly.
And you know this is the start of a wild adventure. One you’re sure is bound to last more than another night.

james potter x cat animagus!reader who he picks up thinking as stray and lets in on a secret
Tumblr media
James Potter was the kind of guy who could never ignore a creature in need, so when he found a little brown cat loitering around the Quidditch pitch during practice, his heart melted instantly. "Poor thing," he murmured, crouching down. “You’re probably cold and starving. Don’t worry, mate—I’ve got you.”
Before you could react, you were being scooped up in his strong arms. Not that you minded, really.
James carried you straight to the Gryffindor boys’ dormitory, setting you on his bed with all the care of a proud parent. “There you go. Home sweet home.”
You blinked at him, tail twitching in mild amusement.
“Right,” he said, flopping onto the bed beside you. “Let’s establish some ground rules. No scratching the furniture. No biting Sirius—actually, scratch that, feel free to bite Sirius. And no stealing my socks, got it?”
You gave him the look—your signature, unimpressed really, James? glare.
James narrowed his eyes at you. “Weird. You’ve got this very… familiar judgmental vibe. Kind of like—nah. I’m imagining it.” He grinned. “Anyway, since you’re new here and seem chill, I’ll let you in on a secret.”
You tilted your head, heart thumping nervously.
James puffed out his chest dramatically. “I’ve got a girlfriend.”
You twitched your ears.
“She’s amazing. Funny, smart, gorgeous.” He laughed, leaning back on the bed. “But Merlin, she’s terrifying sometimes. But, you know, in a hot way. Like, I kind of like it when she yells at me.”
You swished your tail sharply, earning a startled laugh from him.
“Oi, don’t judge! You don’t know what it’s like to be loved by a goddess,” he said, wagging a finger at you. “She’s got this look—like, when I say something dumb, she just stares at me. Kinda like the look you’re giving me right now.”
Your tail lashed harder, but James carried on, oblivious as he scratched the back of his neck. “Anyway, she’s amazing. Except sometimes, she’s so bossy. Always telling me to do my homework, stop sneaking chocolate into the library, quit messing up my hair—”
You hissed softly, and James blinked. “What? I’m just saying it’s endearing. Don’t get your whiskers in a twist.” He leaned in, narrowing his eyes.
“And the sass! She’s so sassy. Honestly, sometimes I think she loves making me squirm.” He sighed dreamily, resting his chin in his hands. “What a woman. You’d like her. Or maybe not. She’d probably call you ‘scruffy’ or something. Wait—you’re scruffy and judgy. Are you sure you’re not her Animagus form?”
You froze.
“Nah,” he said, shaking his head. “She’d have told me. I mean, I told her I’m a stag! She’s even touched my antlers. I think she’s got a thing for them, but she denies it. So, yeah, she’d totally tell me if she were a cat.”
You stared at him, doing your best to suppress a laugh.
Tumblr media
The next day, the game was up.
“Wouldn’t want to be too bossy, now would I?” you said sharply, glaring at James in the common room.
James stopped dead in his tracks, eyes wide. “What?”
You raised an eyebrow.
“No,” he said, shaking his head like a wet dog. “No way. How do you—what—how do you know that?”
You just smirked.
James clutched his hair like a man on the verge of a breakdown. “Wait. Wait. Okay, no. There’s an explanation. Did Sirius tell you? No—he doesn’t even listen when I talk. Did Remus overhear and snitch? No, he’d lecture me about boundaries. Did… did you talk to the cat?!”
You snorted. “What?”
“Do you speak cat language?!” James demanded, looking genuinely alarmed. “Oh, Merlin, are you part Kneazle?!”
“James—”
“Or—or did you use Legilimency on the cat?!” He gasped, his hands flying to his hair. “Were you watching me somehow? Are you spying on me?!”
“James—”
“Oh my god.” His voice dropped to a whisper, eyes wild with panic. “You’re in cahoots with the cat, aren’t you?”
“James!”
He flailed dramatically. “Are you secret friends with a magical talking cat?”
“James Fleamont Potter!”
“What?!”
You crossed your arms, smirking. “I was the cat, you idiot.”
James blinked. Once. Twice. Then he pointed an accusatory finger at you. “You WHAT?!”
“I’m an Animagus,” you said, shrugging.
James stared at you like you’d just told him you were the heir of Merlin. “No. No way. You’re lying. You’re joking. Tell me you’re joking.”
You shrugged again. “Sorry, love. Not joking.”
He gasped, clutching his chest. “I LET YOU SLEEP IN MY BED.”
“Yeah, thanks for that.”
“I SCRATCHED BEHIND YOUR EARS.”
“Very kind of you.”
“I TOLD YOU MY SECRETS!”
“Well, you did think I was a stray.”
James stumbled backward, clutching at the table for support. “I—I let you see me in my pajamas! I let you cuddle with me! I—oh my god, I called you soft and—wait—” He glared at you, realization dawning. “You hissed at me when I called you bossy!”
You grinned. “Sure did.”
“And you glared at me! That was your glare! Oh, bloody hell, I should’ve known.” He groaned, collapsing onto the bed. “This is so embarrassing. Why didn’t you tell me?!”
You plopped down beside him, smirking. “I wanted to see how long it’d take you to figure it out.”
James buried his face in his hands. “I let you TOUCH MY ANTLERS.”
“And they’re very nice antlers,” you teased, poking his side.
He peeked at you through his fingers, pouting. “This is betrayal, you know. Pure betrayal.”
“James.”
“Nope. Betrayal.”
“James.”
He groaned. “Fine. But you owe me so much cuddling to make up for this.”
“Deal,” you said, pulling him into a hug.
“Wait,” he mumbled into your shoulder. “You do think my antlers are cool, right?”
You kissed his cheek. “The coolest, love.”
“Thought so.”

Someone New
Summary: Travelling worlds has its side effects; namely, having visions of multiple timelines. As you get closer to the housewardens after their overblots, you begin to see the possible future that awaits the two of you, if only you decide to choose them.
Overblot gang x Reader (Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Idia, Malleus)
GN but mentions of biological children - imagine anything you want though (magic spells that make anything possible!)
i. blooms of red and bursts of reason; riddle rosehearts
Even after knowing him for months, you don’t touch Riddle until long after his overblot. He isn’t truly comfortable with you, with anyone, touching him so casually.
The chill of autumn ghosts your skin, making goosebumps rise along your arms. When he notices you rubbing your forearms to gather some warmth, Riddle insists on offering you his coat. Something about ‘rule five hundred and nine.’
His ways don’t always make sense to you, but you appreciate the sentiment behind the action. You take his coat, uttering your gratitude to him, although it’s quite small considering his stature. He offers you a small smile; in Riddle’s case, you know that means a lot.
You can’t help but return his smile, the small affection making your heart stir suddenly. It’s nice - spending time alone with Riddle. At the beginning of the year, you’d never have imagined becoming close with him. It was hard to see past the strict housewarden who never let anything go.
You think he’d made assumptions about you too. About you being a troublemaker, someone not worth his time, just another problem. You’re thankful you’ve both come around.
You stare at him from the corner of your eye as you walk together. He truly is gentle at heart, despite what his temper might suggest. His red hair sits perfectly on his head, cutely framing his face. It makes you think of his mother; his hair is perhaps the only good thing she passed onto him.
You snap out of your thoughts when you step a little too hard into a puddle and accidentally splash your pants, slightly dirtying them. Riddle turns when he hears your grumble, and you prepare yourself for a scolding. You won’t hold it against him; it was your fault for being careless.
Instead, Riddle only shakes his head gently, before asking if you’d like to stop at Ramshackle to change before you two arrive at the library.
Your surprise forces you to take a moment and just look at him. So far he’s come from the person he was only a couple months ago. You feel strangely sentimental, so you reach out to touch his shoulder, intending to thank him.
As soon as you make contact with him, the world around you shifts, brown and orange leaves being traded for the bright green of spring.
-
You sit under a pagoda tree, the wind gently blowing the pages of your novel. It’s strange - you’re seeing things as yourself, but you’re not in control. It’s as though you’re replaying the memory of someone else. At the sound of someone’s voice, ‘you’ look up. It’s there that you spot familiar red hair; it forms a stark contrast to the vegetation around you.
He’s not alone, either. In Riddle’s arms is a small baby, with identical hair to who you presume is his father. It’s a striking image - Riddle with his child. He’s noticeably older; if you had to guess, he seems to be in his late twenties.
“MC? Sorry to bother, but he’s been refusing to eat today. I checked our parenting books thrice, but I haven’t found any suitable solutions. I thought you might know how to help him.”
“That’s okay,” you hear your voice say. “How is our little guy doing?”
Riddle passes the baby to you, and you finally take notice of his other features; this child has the same colour eyes as you, and a similarly shaped nose.
You then catch a glimpse of the ring sparking on your left hand, and the other on Riddle’s.
“Hmm,” you’re vision-self says. “Let’s go back home, I’ll try to see what’s bothering him.”
“Alright, dear. I’ll start on dinner,” older-Riddle replies.
He takes your hand and helps you up, before you walk back toward the house in the distance, your hand still in his.
-
When the greens turn to orange, you blink, finding Riddle looking at you. You’re back at NRC.
“Are you alright, prefect? You seem distracted.”
“I’m okay, Riddle. I just…never mind. Let’s get going.”
You decide not to tell him about your strange…Dream? Vision? It all seemed so real…you could smell the tree sap and feel the breeze flow against your skin. You held a baby. Your baby…with Riddle? The two of you were older, but would it really be possible for it to truly be your future? That seemed ridiculous. Then again, you thought the same thing about magic a few months ago.
You resolve to keep this strange occurrence to yourself until you can figure out what happened. It’s hard to look at Riddle, having now seen the two of you married and with a child together. You’re more flustered than usual. Was this just some kind of daydream projection of your fantasies about him? You weren’t even really sure you could say you have a ‘crush’ on him - after all, you’ve only recently begun getting close. Not that you haven’t thought of him that way at all but-
You’re sure Riddle takes notice of your strange behaviour throughout your study session but, thankfully, he doesn’t comment on it.
ii. dizzying dreams and endless nights; leona kingscholar
You’d fought Leona hard to get where you are now - on the left side of his bed, with Grim sleeping at the base. You’re exhausted with everything going on with Azul (hopefully) temporarily taking your dorm, but it’s hard to sleep with how worried you are about the situation.
Leona’s room is dim, moonlight cascading over the silk sheets. You can barely make out his form, curled up in the blankets and turned away from you.
You don’t want to disturb the sleeping lion, but he happens to be hogging the entire blanket. You suppose you should’ve known, but it wasn’t as though you had time to take anything from Ramshackle.
When the chill becomes too much to ignore, you try to tug part of the blanket away from him. This causes Leona to roll over, arm suddenly falling around your back.
You’re hit with another wave of blurry vision as the moon melts into the sun.
-
“Morning,” you hear a voice, your voice, say to him. Your tone is playful and lightheartedly chastising. You can feel his arms wrapped snuggly around you.
It’s happening again, the same as with Riddle. You’re seeing things from your own eyes, but you’re not in control.
A groan comes from behind you, Leona shuffling his position but refusing to open his eyes. His bare legs brush yours under the covers. “Too early. Go back to sleep.” He pulls you closer into his chest.
‘You’ laugh gently, turning around in his arms so you’re now face to face. “You promised the queen we would attend this banquet. Especially after we missed the last one.”
He looks older here too, but as gorgeous as ever. Despite just waking up, Leona’s dark hair falls perfectly around his face. The room is different than his one at school; it’s still a bedroom, but it looks as though you’re back in the castle of Sunset Savanna.
Leona finally opens his eyes, looking at you with a heavy gaze before flipping you below him. His arms hold him straight above you, looking down on you lying prone on the bed. “Hmph.” He leans in close until your lips are only millimetres apart. “We have some time, don’t we?”
You’re left staring into those piercing green eyes, entranced by them being closer than ever.
With that, he leans in completely, lips brushing over your own as he begins to kiss you. The longer it goes, the more ravenous he becomes, more and more greedy for the taste of your lips.
-
When the sunlight fades to moonlight, you’re left embarrassed. That was - so much worse than with Riddle?! Ugh, it’s so awkward with Leona sleeping beside you now, like you’ve violated some kind of rule by thinking of him that way.
You’re too afraid to even consider the possibility of it being some kind of dream. It came on so suddenly, but you hadn’t been asleep. The whole thing seemed so real, too elaborate for a simple dream. No, it had to be more than that - some kind of vision - but how could that be true? And what did that mean about your vision with Riddle? Surely they couldn’t both be correct.
You’d intended on ignoring it before, but with Leona’s vision, that seemed futile. Perhaps the staff would have some answers for you…
iii. seashells shimmer in the forever sea; azul ashengrotto
Azul isn’t one for touching, and this time neither are you. Ever since the Crowley’s theory about alternate universes and rips in time since you’ve travelled worlds, you’ve decided it’s best to stay away from touching too many people. It was…interesting, to see a possible future with Riddle and Leona, but it’s certainly left you ambivalent. It’s a bit difficult not to avoid them when your mind drifts to your ‘visions’ while in their vicinity.
Riddle is kind enough to ignore your sudden shyness, but Leona has openly called you out on how flustered you get around him. He seems both confused and amused about the development, and his smugness is too much to handle sometimes.
Fortunately for you, Leona doesn’t hang around the Mostro Lounge much, making it the perfect place for you to avoid him. You try to force Ace and Deuce to come with you and study there, but the two have been reluctant considering their previous encounters with the twins while trying to get Azul’s picture.
That means you’re left to go alone, sometimes. Well, alone except for Grim. He never leaves you hanging as long as you agree to buy him food. Just like today, where he sits passed out across the other side of the booth, having eaten himself into a food coma.
You try to return to your homework, but out of the corner of your eye, you catch Azul staring at you from the staff area. When you make eye contact, he only waves, smile dripped in plasticity. When you don’t clue in, he walks toward your table, eventually taking a seat across from you, beside Grim.
“Hello, Prefect,” he says.
“Azul.”
Unlike Riddle - and even to some extent, Leona - you haven’t really gotten close to Azul after his overblot. He doesn’t exactly want you to, it seems.
“I noticed you’ve been frequenting the Lounge quite frequently as of late - I just wanted to thank you, for being a dedicated patron.”
“I’m not doing it for you, but you’re welcome, I guess.”
“Ah yes, I presumed. So, who are you doing it for?”
Your mind snaps to thoughts of you and Leona in the future, his arms around you in his bed-
“Nothing. No one. Do you need something, Azul?”
Despite your attempt at neutrality, Azul must see something on your face as you attempt to rid your mind of your vision of Leona. He leans in a bit, curious to observe you.
You begin packing up your things, too distracted to continue studying.
“No need to leave on my account,” he says.
“It’s not.”
He stands at the same time as you, presumably planning to head back to his office. Unfortunately for the both of you, you hadn’t noticed Grim migrate to his place sleeping on the floor. When you take a step forward and trip, Azul is, tragically, directly in front of you.
Your arms reach out instinctively, but instead of stabilizing yourself by grabbing onto his shoulders, the force of your fall knocks the both of you over.
As soon as you make contact with him, your vision swirls into another world full of beautiful blues.
-
The coral sea is even more breathtaking than you remember. You’ve only been a couple times, but the drastic differences between the land and ocean always manage to stun you. The water is so clear that it practically glitters as you wave your hands through it, feeling the water pass refreshingly across your smooth skin.
You’ve never been to this specific place before (presumably, it doesn’t exist yet), but it’s clear what it is: a restaurant. If the octopus logo has anything to do with it, clearly it’s Azul’s. It wasn’t too surprising to you that he would have more restaurants open in the future, but you weren’t sure what you were doing here. If the pattern followed, it seemed inevitable that you and Azul would be…romantically-involved in this timeline, but that just didn’t seem possible.
At least you had befriended Riddle and Leona to an extent - Azul looked down on your existence as a magicless person, seemingly entirely apathetic about you in general. You had to admit, the feelings were mutual considering his treatment of you and your friends.
You feel ‘yourself’ look around the restaurant, before heading back into the staff area. You knock on the door to an office, and Azul opens it with a smile.
He, too, is older. His face has matured a bit and he also wears his hair a bit longer. Azul still has his grey suit, though.
“Hello, MC. Done for the day?”
“I guess so, boss,” your voice replied cheekily. Boss?? Why would your future self ever work for-
“Hmm, I may have more tasks for you, why don’t you come in~”
With that, future-Azul takes your hand and tugs you into his office. On his desk sits several picture frames; one of his parents and one of his wedding. You happened to spot yourself in the second one.
It’s a bit jarring to see; you and Azul posed together, dressed up in such fancy clothing. His arm sits around your shoulder, and yours around his waist. Before this, the two of you have never even shook hands.
You hear yourself giggling, cornering Azul against the wall as soon as he closes the door and bringing your arms around his neck to kiss him.
You can already feel the dread forming; you definitely won’t be able to spend time at the Mostro Lounge after this…
As the two of you pull away, Azul starts talking about a reunion for your graduating class at NRC.
“I told them maybe - with the new branch of our restaurant opening, we may wish to stay back. Then again, it could be a great opportunity to network for us. What do you think, dear?”
Before you can hear your reply, the world fades back into the familiar lighting of the Mostro Lounge.
-
A groaning Azul is beneath you, having (unfortunately for him) broken your fall.
You utter a quiet ‘sorry!’ as you get off of him, still a bit flustered from your vision.
He gets up, dusting himself off. Thankfully, the two of you are in a rather secluded area of the place, so no one was there to witness your embarrassment.
Azul can no longer maintain the facade of kind gentleman as he turns back to you, voice dripping with passive aggressiveness.
“I would prefer if you refrained from touching me in the future. Thank you.”
With that, he gets up and leaves. You shake your head - how could there possibly be any timeline where you’ve married him?
iv. jaded jewels shine, awaken from slumber; jamil viper
While helping out with the VDC, you’ve had time to get close to Jamil. Much closer, in fact, than with any of the others you’ve had visions of before. Now you’ve avoided touching him for a whole other reason - you’re scared you won’t have a vision.
Spending time with Jamil has made you realize things you’d never thought about him before - his handsomeness, intelligence, and talent. You’ve developed a bit of a crush on him, considering how much you admire him.
However, you have no idea how he feels. Jamil has never been one to express his feelings so outwardly, but you can’t get a read on him at all. He’s been polite with you, but he’s treated you basically the same as everyone else.
Your attempts at getting closer to him have been rather unsuccessful - the group is so busy practicing, everyone’s been way too exhausted to really do anything.
You manage to get a moment alone at Ramshackle when the rest of the boys have gone to sleep, and you find Jamil sitting out on the porch alone.
“Hey,” you say. “Mind if I join you?”
Jamil turns to look at you before nodding his head. You take a seat beside him, following his gaze to the stars. The sky is dark but the moon casts a glow on him, making Jamil look beautiful under the light.
“What are you thinking about?”
He hums for a moment before replying, “What I’m always thinking about - how things will just go back to normal again after the end of the VDC.”
You don’t really know what to say; his fears seem inevitable, no matter how much you want to comfort him. “I’m sorry…I can’t understand what it’s like for you, but…what if you could still have some kind of happiness in your life?”
“Like what?”
“I don’t know…you could still find love?”
“Find love? You think that’s what I care about?” Jamil’s tone is bitter, but his voice never rises. “Sorry, but you’re awfully naive. Things like love won’t make my life better. It’ll only complicate things.”
“I-I understand.”
When your voice shakes, Jamil finally looks up at you, sighing when he spots your watery eyes.
“Prefect, relax. I’m not angry at you. It’s just a frustrating situation for me, I’m sure you know. I don’t have time to think about love. I just need to focus on myself.”
With that, he pats your shoulder before standing up, leaving you alone to stare at the night sky. Jamil hadn’t even realized you were trying to confess to him, and you felt terrible for even trying to bring it up. Of course he wouldn’t be able to think about something like your stupid little crush - you feel so silly for even bringing it up, you should’ve known better since you know all about his circumstances.
It was then you realized - Jamil had touched you for the first time. He touched you and nothing happened.
The first one you’d been seriously interested in, and there seemed to be no future for the two of you.
Was it possible you’d already messed up this timeline, making it impossible for that future with him to occur? The whole thing made your head spin and your heart ache.
v. swept into spotlights, doused in delicacy; vil schoenheit
Vil had been a surprising comfort in the wake of your unrequited crush on Jamil. The two of you had gotten closer after VDC, and Vil had a way of pulling honesty out of you. It had only taken him a couple days of observing your awkwardness to guess at the situation.
He’d been a shoulder to cry on, both literally and figuratively. There’d been a moment when he first pulled you into his arms that you’d wondered - hoped - that he might be a possibility in your future, but alas, no vision. It was a bit disappointing but you knew it was wrong to feel too badly; it would be greedy of you to desire a connection with so many knowing you could only end up with one.
Vil became a friend - someone you could rely on, someone who could make you laugh, and someone who couldn’t break your heart.
Even when you would start to feel something more than platonic for him, you had to push it away. He was certainly gorgeous and talented and perfect…but he wouldn’t be that for you. He couldn’t, apparently, and maybe he wouldn’t want to either.
Vil was more than just a fellow student - he was an actor, a model, a celebrity - someone too far to reach. Even if you had a vision with him, would it matter?
You’re snapped out of your thoughts by Vil’s hand on your cheek, turning your face to get the correct angle to apply your eyeliner; he’d insisted you get dressed up with him and Rook to go out tonight.
“Move onto the bed,” Vil says.
You stand from the chair in front of his vanity and move hesitantly toward his bed. His silky sheets look perfect - you don’t want to ruin them. Looking back at him, Vil rolls his eyes and gently pushes you toward the bed until you lay back.
You’re left staring up at him on your back, while he sits above you, applying the rest of his products on your face. He’s so close to you, his luscious golden hair almost tickles your face. His pretty purple eyes don’t focus on your own, following his makeup brush.
He looks cute like this, concentrating hard to perfect your makeup. He bites his lip gently, drawing your attention to his pretty mouth, shining with the pink gloss he’d applied earlier.
When he leans away to pick up the blush, you mistakenly think he’s finished and try to sit up. At the same time that you rise, Vil turns back to face you. The timing coincides into an accidental and brief meeting of your lips.
It takes a second for you to realize that the dizziness your feel isn’t due to your racing heart, but the sudden appearance of another vision.
-
The lights flash, bright and blinding. The sharp clicks of cameras obnoxiously disrupt the music heard softly on the street from nearby restaurants and clubs.
You’re rushing away with Vil, hand in hand as he pulls you toward a black limo waiting up ahead. You nearly stumble, but Vil is quick to stabilize you.
Once the two of you escape the paparazzi, you’re left sitting side by side in the backseat of the limo, both breathing heavily. Vil gives the driver instructions to return back to his penthouse.
He turns to you. “Are you okay, darling?”
You feel yourself nod in affirmation, taking ahold of his hand again. He squeezes back.
“I’m sorry they’ve ruined another date. I know it’s hard for you not to have much privacy, but it seems no matter what I do, they find us.” He strokes your hand with his thumb.
“It’s okay, Vil. I knew what I was getting into, dating a celebrity and all that.”
He plants a kiss on your cheek. “Still, they shouldn’t bother us. I may be a celebrity, but you aren’t. You deserve privacy.” He sighs gently. “Has this…impacted our previous discussion?”
You look back up at him. You assume based on past visions that he’s much older now, but he’s kept his youthful and gorgeous look. Even now, his purple eyes make your heart flutter embarrassingly.
“Of course not. I want us to have kids together. You’ll be the best dad and protect them from all this. I know it.”
He kisses you on the lips this time just as your vision begins to end.
-
Vil snaps his fingers over you as you come too, rolling his eyes.
“I know my lips are practically intoxicating, but did you really get that worked up over an accidental peck between friends?”
Your face becomes hot at Vil’s statement, embarrassment setting in. He doesn’t know how right he is.
“Ah, sorry. I got…distracted.”
Vil laughs gently. “Why? Thinking of more of my kisses? They’ll cost you~”
When you stammer in response, he just ruffles your hair gently.
“I’m just teasing you.”
You stare at him for a moment before speaking. “I don’t think we can do each other’s makeup platonically anymore.” If it ever was, that is.
Vil rolls his eyes dramatically again.
vi. hidden in shadows, warmth comes in waves; idia shroud
The incident with Vil leaves you even more confused than before. It makes you wonder…if just touching isn’t always enough to have a vision, does that mean a future where you end up with Jamil is still possible? You don’t even want to hope, knowing the heartache he’d unknowingly caused you before.
And Vil…having a vision about him makes this complicated. When it was just lingering thoughts you could push to the side of your mind, your growing infatuation with him was easy to ignore. Actually seeing your future with him, has made your heart swell and ache at the same time.
You don’t exactly choose to become friends with Idia, it just kind of happens. Just like the previous situations where you’d attempted to avoid the star of your latest vision, Idia is someone who seems like a good choice to help you stay away from them. He isn’t good friends with Jamil or Vil (or frankly anyone). Incidentally, the two of you become friends after a small argument over an anime (the only topic that allows Idia to temporarily overcome his social anxiety just to disagree with you), and you begin to hang out occasionally.
The more your old friends hang out with the VDC group, the more you begin to make excuses and go play video games with Idia and Ortho.
It feels strangely easy, spending time with Idia. You never have to pretend, and with your shared interests, conversation comes naturally. Once you’ve spent enough time around him, he feels much more comfortable around you, willing to share his (strong) thoughts and opinions on everything.
Idia is very…different than you would’ve guessed before you knew him well. While he can be rude, you find it more funny than offensive, and it’s pretty fun to banter with him. His room holds small glimpses into his true personality; video games he loves, posters of his favourite characters. His passion for these things is clear as day.
Sitting on Idia’s couch, you’re playing against him and Ortho in Super Smash Bros. Ortho immediately claimed Kirby, proceeding to destroy the both of you multiple times until he emerged as the winner.
Despite the loss, both you and Idia can’t help but smile. Ortho makes a celebratory noise, before turning back to you.
“MC, we are about to encounter another rip in the time continuum,” Ortho says. “I’m so excited, do you think it will finally be my big brother’s turn to earn your love?”
“What?” you and Idia say for different reasons.
“How do you know about that?
“Earn their love??”
“It’s part of my programming to monitor all things involving space and time.”
“Huh. Okay.”
You suppose it’s true, you’ve never really touched Idia before. The two of you got along like best friends; it wasn’t so much of a stretch to say you could end up having a future together. You hadn’t thought about it much, in light of recent events.
“Usually you’re the only one able to see, but since Idia’s here, why don’t I show him too!”
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Ortho,” Idia says.
“I think it will be good for you, brother! Don’t worry, I’ll give the both of you some privacy to see your future. It’s approaching in three, two-”
When his countdown reaches one, Ortho plops your hand on top of Idia, making your vision fade once again.
-
The Island of Woe is familiar to you by now, after everything that went down with Idia. The architecture remains impersonal; the uniformity of the blank steel walls reminds you of a maze. The thought had unsettled you, the last time you visited.
Strangely enough, you don’t feel that same sense of anxiety and claustrophobia in this vision. You’re strangely calm; it wouldn’t be crazy to assume that exposure and familiarity has dulled these feelings.
The scene is devastatingly unsurprising. You suppose you’d always known what Idia’s future would be; what all his ancestors futures had been. That hadn’t lessened the spark of hope you’d been carrying that perhaps things might turn out differently than he believed.
You had a bad habit of that: false hope for Jamil, false hope for Idia. It didn’t truly do anyone any good, no matter how much you wished it to.
You’re in Idia’s room. Aside from its size and how nice it is, the decor is a clear giveaway. The posters that line the walls aren’t from media you recognize, so it must be future content, but it’s all in line with Idia’s current tastes. You’re happy he has that, at least. You even catch a glimpse of a couple of his old posters from NRC rolled up in his closet. A few pieces even stand out, things that seem much more suited to your taste than his own.
A familiar head of blue hair wanders into the room.
“Hey MC.”
“Hi Idia,” you feel your lips gently pull up in the corners. Despite ‘your’ outward expression in the vision, you feel a small twinge of pain in your chest.
Idia’s entrance into his room (your room?) lets you take a close look at him. Even ten or so years later, it seems he hasn’t been able to rid himself of his eye bags. Even so, you still think he looks nice, his vibrant hair illuminating his pretty face. He’s cute, smiling back at you.
“Sorry I’m back late again. There’s been so many problems with the new system update, even Ortho can’t handle it himself.” Idia’s expression drops a little.
“It’s okay, I know you’re busy.”
Idia comes to sit beside you on the bed, head turning toward you. “Is it though? Stuck down here with me, and I can’t even be by your side half the time. I doubt this is the life you- anyone would dream of.”
“I miss you, of course I do. But I chose this life. I chose you.”
“Maybe you shouldn’t have.”
The tears well in your eyes before you can stop them, and Idia’s panic only rises once he notices.
“Gah!! No, MC, please don’t cry. I didn’t mean it like that. Sevens, I’m so stupid.” Idia awkwardly pulls you into his arms, and you begin wipe your tears onto his shoulder as you settle down.
“Sorry, I-I don’t know what came over me,” you sniffle.
“Don’t apologize, it was my fault. I don’t know why, every time I try to tell you how I feel, it always just comes out wrong. I try to tell you that I love you, that you deserve better than to be stuck here with me, and it comes out like that.”
“Idia…I know what you meant, it just took me by surprise to hear those words.”
“Loving you is supposed to be the one thing I can do to make your life here better, and I can’t even do it right.”
“Says who? Don’t you think I should be the judge of that?”
“I made you cry, MC! Something is wrong with me…”Idia’s cheeks flush pink as he stares at his feet.
You want to comfort him, to tell him that it doesn’t matter, but you quickly feel yourself being pulled away. You’ve never wished more than to have a few more moments in a vision.
-
The room remains silent for a minute after the vision ends, the both of you trying to process what had happened.
“Idia…” you say, trying to bridge the gap between you, but not exactly knowing how.
“Maybe- I uh - maybe you should leave?” Idia says sheepishly.
“Leave? What did I do?” you say, feeling a bit hurt by his suddenly rejection.
“Nothing! I just- I’m sorry, I need some time. I can’t speak right now, I need to be alone.” Idia is clearly panicked, so you follow his brother to the exit.
“Sorry, MC,” Ortho says, opening the door for you. “Sometimes Idia gets overwhelmed in situations like this. Please, give him time and…please don’t give up on him like everyone else does.”
vii. sun and moon, forever in orbit; malleus draconia
You’ve known Malleus as long as you’ve known Riddle, but despite your blooming friendship, you’ve never had the chance to touch him before. The fae always seemed to prefer to keep his distance when visiting you at Ramshackle; close enough to talk, too far to touch.
That all changes when you finally agree to join the gargoyle studies club. It’s not as though you’d purposefully avoided it before, there’d just always been too much going on to really think about joining any of the clubs.
With Idia shutting you out, you were in dire need of a new hobby that would allow you to finally avoid thinking about what had gone down with him in the days before.
When Malleus finally strolls by Ramshackle again, you’re able to inform him of your intention to join his club.
It’s a remarkable thing, having stunned the fae prince into momentary silence at your request. He furrows his brow before replying.
“I do hope you aren’t making a joke at my expense, prefect. That would be rather cruel of you.”
You wave away his words, telling him that you’re entirely serious. He looks you up and down for a moment before a playful grin pulls at his lips.
“I suppose I will see you in our meeting on thursday, then. Please, don’t be late. We have much to see.”
-
Weekly meetings become bi-weekly, and soon you’re meeting up with Malleus almost daily. Since it’s only the two of you in the club, you take certain liberties when it comes to subject matter. You agree to let Malleus show you some ruins and he, in turn, agrees to watch the bachelor with you.
You don’t even like the show, but Malleus’ reactions are the real entertainment. He’s surprisingly sassy and opinionated about all the drama, although he tends to get confused on ‘human customs’ as he so puts it.
“Why won’t he make a choice? It’s clear who he truly desires,” Malleus asks one day, sitting on Ramshackle’s beat up couch as you watch the reality show together on your laptop.
“I don’t know, the guys on this show are always like this. They want to keep around as many options as possible until they’re forced to choose,” you mumble, mouth full of popcorn.
“Human men are fickle.”
You laugh. “Fae aren’t?”
He takes a moment to answer. “Some. Not dragon fae. Once we choose a person to love, we give everything to them, and expect the same in return.”
You don’t know how to reply to that, so you turn back to the screen. Throughout the rest of the episode, you can feel Malleus’ gaze flicker between yourself and the show, not fully invested like you are.
-
You’re not oblivious to his hints. It’s clear that things between you are become more than friendly, but it’s difficult to know how you feel about it.
On one hand, Malleus has always felt strangely charming to you, despite how he often came off to others. There was something about him, or perhaps just the sum of his parts that came together perfectly to make him into a wonderful being.
Spending time together and getting close felt nice, but you were far too used to this pattern to not feel worried about some kind of impending doom. It seemed every time you had a nice friendship, things would fall apart as soon as you found out about your future together.
Even when pleasant, the strangeness of the experience makes it uncomfortable to be around them again. You’ve felt bad avoiding your friends, but there isn’t much you can do to change your feelings.
Even worse - what if your vision with Malleus isn’t positive? After what you saw with Idia, the fear lingers in your mind.
Once you opened the gate, questions begun to flood your brain. What would a future be like with Malleus? Would that even be possible? Would you be his consort? Would a relationship between a human and fae be accepted? Would you be able to handle it? The anxieties were endless.
You think about telling him about everything. About Riddle, Leona…but how would he react? You tell yourself that it’s better if he doesn’t know. At least not until after.
He’s the first one you touch on purpose; you have to know.
A casual stroll around Ramshackle leads to the purposeful brushing of fingers, and you’re pulled into a familiar haze.
-
You’ve never been to Briar Valley, but you know with certainty that your vision takes place there.
The hall you sit in is long, gold trims running along the walls. The black dragon heraldry mounted above the fireplace at the end of the room looks more expensive than anything you’ve seen in your life.
Two wide doors swing open, and Malleus finally enters the room. He isn’t alone.
A small black shape zooms past his legs, plopping itself in front of you.
“Daddy and I picked you flowers from the garden!”
The blur isn’t some shadow, but instead a small child. Five or six, if you had to guess. If her words didn’t give away her parentage, the small, stubby horns peaking out from the top of her head of dark hair certainly told you this was Malleus’ daughter.
“Thank you, sweetie.” You smile at her, taking the flowers she drops in your hand. There’s still some dirt and roots attached, but she’s so adorable, you truly don’t mind.
“Can Uncle Silver take me horseback ridding today?” she asks you. “Daddy said it’s okay with him if it’s okay with you.” She blinks at you sweetly.
“Alright, I suppose. Just be careful, dear,” you reply.
“I have the best parents in all the kingdoms!” she shouted, running along to her chambers to get ready, leaving only you in Malleus in the room.
“She’s so lively today,” you comment, looking up at him.
“Indeed,” he replies, coming to rest beside you. “You look beautiful, my love.”
“And you, my king.”
The two of you share a kiss. It’s all so - dizzying. It’s not unexpected to have a child with Malleus - you had one with Riddle, but this is different. This child is older, she knows you, she feels so real.
He pulls away to smile at you. “I have a gift for you.”
“What’s the occasion?”
“Need there be one for me to celebrate my wonderful spouse?”
“I suppose not. Thank you, Malleus. No matter how many gifts you give, I will treasure them all.”
He pulls out a box from his pocket, asking you to turn around. You feel him guide a cold band around your neck, clasping it in the back. He then places a small, handheld mirror in your hands, urging you to look.
The necklace he’s given you is beyond stunning. It’s silver, with a dazzling gemstone in the middle. You don’t even want to ponder how much it must’ve cost.
You catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror.
It’s strange - seeing yourself much older when Malleus looks the same. It unsettles you more than you’d like to admit. It’s one thing to know you’ll age at different rates and another to see it with your own eyes.
This must be something on your mind in the future as well, because of the next thing you decide to ask Malleus.
“Will I see her grow up? For me, it feels like she’s been young forever. I love it and yet…I want to see more of her life than just this.”
He doesn’t ask who you’re referring to. “You will. You’ll see most. I was practicing mature by my eighty-first birthday.”
You sigh. “I may not even get that far. I’m healthy now, but who knows. The curses of being human…”
He tilts your chin to face him. “It is not a curse to me, my love. I chose you, and I would again.”
There’s infinitely more to discuss, but you already feel yourself slipping away.
-
You come to from the vision mid walk. Malleus is unaffected, seemingly still in the middle of one of his explanations behind the rich history of one of gargoyles you’d just passed by.
When he notices your silence and turns to ask if you’re alright, you have no response for him.
It seems almost selfish, for you to choose him. Why- why did there need to be so many things wrong? Why did you have to be human, to pain him and your future children by leaving them behind so early?
The joy and the pain - would it all truly be worth it? Or would it be better for it to have never happened?
Malleus looks at you with concern, wiping the tears suddenly cascading down your cheeks.
“What’s wrong, my child of man?”
Everything and nothing, you want to tell him.
viii. all things end, all that we intend; conclusion
Seven beautiful souls, all potential endings. Every future you glimpsed has it’s own charms, and it’s own poisons.
Which future will you choose? One of them? Or perhaps…another?

James Potter x shy Hufflepuff fem!reader
Summary: You have a massive crush on James. One you didn't think would ever lead anywhere until a drunken party in the Gryffindor Common Room.
Genre: Fluff 🫶
Warnings: drinking, being drunk
~ directly inspired by the song So High School by Taylor Swift. thank you to the anon who requested this! ily! ~
JAMES POTTER MASTERLIST
Your cheeks burn from your embarrassment and the fire-whiskey in your blood-stream as your ears ring from the loud music dancing around you and you shake your head.
Lily Evans laughs as she glances around the Common Room. "C'mon, this is your chance," she insists, "They're playing Kiss, Marry, or Kill."
When Lily sees your confused and frankly frightened expression, she quickly explains, "It's a muggle game—it's harmless and fun—c'mon," she says again and pulls on your arm.
"Gentlemen," Lily declares when you approach the circle of students near the fire and she looks at the ring leaders of the group, The Marauders.
They're the ones that had planned this party—or Sirius and James had while Remus and Peter tagged along.
Sirius grins when he sees Lily.
"Aw, are you joining us, Red?" he smirks and then he sees you, "And who's your friend?"
You smile shyly. You know Peter from Care Of Magical Creatures in your third year, and you often seen Remus in the library (you've even spoken to him a few times), but you've only ever seen and heard James and Sirius from afar—
—which definitely never helped the stupid, baseless, soul-crushing crush you have on James Potter.
Remus, who is sitting criss-cross ext to Sirius, speaks up, "Y/n, yeah? You're a Hufflepuff—I see you in the library." He smiles kindly and pushes on James's shoulder, who has the latter almost choking on his beer, so you can sit next to him.
James frowns but he recovers quickly and looks up, his glasses crooked on his nose. He's wearing his Quidditch sweater, his brown hair a tangled mess, but he's smiling now.
"Hi," he moves so you can sit next to him and Remus as Lily grins like a fool. You feel her hand on your shoulder as she plops you down next to James and she sits across from you.
Apart from the Marauders, other students are also sitting around the circle and chatting. Sirius is by far the loudest of them all, and you think James is the funniest.
It becomes honestly embarrassing how hard you laugh at any stupid joke he says. You can't help it, your tipsiness impairs any rational thoughts you may have, as you cover your mouth and stifle your laughs.
James notices immediately and he grins.
"Never had this much success, dove," he says, as charming as always, "You're cute."
This causes you to become even more flustered and you don't even know how to answer him. So, you hide from him, turning your head in the opposite direction. Lily sends you a knowing look.
James leans his knee closer to yours and you have to convince yourself he did that by accident or you'll simply implode.
"Okay, Jamie, Kiss, Marry, Kill—me, Lily, and our new sweet little Hufflepuff," Sirius suddenly says, pulling your attention to the group again. You still have no clue what this game is and your eyes round.
Sirius seems quite pleased with himself.
James sips his drink, "Hmm, Kill you because you're a pain in my arse—"
Sirius dramatically puts a hand on his heart, feigning hurt at his best friend's words. "And here I had the ring all prepared," he whines.
James chuckles and continues. "Then um," he looks between you and Lily for a moment and your heart sinks.
Everyone knows James had a thing for Lily in second to fourth year. How could you, someone who had been too shy and awkward to even talk to him, compete with smart, incredibly witty, and beautifully stunning Lily Evans?
"Kiss Lily and marry Y/n," James shrugs, smiling lopsidedly as he looks at you and pushes his glasses further up his nose. "Lils' seems like she'd be a decent snog, but I like them sweeter for the long run," he reasons and winks.
Lily laughs and rolls her eyes, "Smooth, Potter."
"No need to get all green-eyed on us, Evans," James says and turns his attention to you again, "Whadd'ya say, lil' puff, June 17th in six years?" he says, planning the future fake wedding.
You look up at him, your eyes round and you blink—unable to laugh it off as your heart thumps so loudly you can barely hear a thing anymore.
"I think you broke the poor girl," Remus chuckles and then turns to Peter to steer the attention away from you, "Okay, Wormy, your turn."
Thank Merlin for Remus Lupin.
* * *
A while later, you stand in the corner of the room, your mind still stuck on how James's teasing that you don't hear the man in question come up to you.
"Hey, dove," he whispers and you spin around.
"Oh–hi," you whisper. You must look so smitten because you can just feel your cheeks burn.
James smirks. "It's late. Where's Lily?"
You frown as you look around, "She's talking with um—some of her other friends over there—" you point, expecting James to walk to her and leave you behind.
Instead, he stays. "You think she'd mind if I walk you back to your Common Room, you seem a little tipsy."
You're at a loss for words but then you stutter, "O-oh, no, I don't think she would mind," you whisper, "That's very kind of you, James. I c-can walk alone if it's a bother—"
"Nonsense. If it was a bother, I wouldn't have asked," James takes your arm, pushing some hair from your face with his fingers.
"Cute ribbon," he adds, looking at the red ribbon in your hair, "Very on brand with Gryffindor pride," he chuckles as he clearly enjoys the flustered look you're wearing.
"You're adorable," he says and he takes your hand, leading you out into the hall. The corridors are empty and dimly lit at this time in the evening and it feels surreal to walk the halls hand in hand with James Potter—especially when he keeps looking back at you with that look on his face.
When you arrive at the entrance of the Hufflepuff Common Room, James turns to you and he keeps his hand in yours. He's blushing obviously now and you can smell the beer on his breath.
"If we weren't so tipsy," he mumbles, his knuckles caressing your skin, "I would kiss you right now."
Your eyes widen and your breath leaves you. "Pardon?"
"You heard me, love—where have you been all my life?" he sounds lovesick and one of his palms press against his warm cheek, "Is this what love at first sight is supposed to feel like? Because I was convinced that was all bullshit until now. What charm have you put on me, Y/n?"
You look away because if you look into his eyes any longer, you'll faint. Your hand squeezes his as his words make you feel dizzy and all fluttery. "I think you're just a little drunk, James."
"Drunk in love, yeah," he half-jokes, his tone soft as he leans in and his lips find your forehead.
You shut your eyes, wondering how he could make you feel like this in a mere matter of hours and although your insecurities creep in, you stay in the moment.
"Where can I find you tomorrow?" James whispers against your skin.
"I'm in the library a lot, especially in the mornings," you say, having no expectations of ever seeing James Potter again. You and him live on completely different planets.
"You can find me there if you'd like," you finish and James nods, his lips kissing your temple one last time and then he whispers a small, sweet dreams into your skin.
* * *
  In the morning, you ignore your hangover and find your usual spot in the back of the library as you open an old book written by an ancient muggle philosopher.
Last night's events in the Gryffindor Common Room play in your head as you read.
"Mornin'." You're startled by a familiar voice and you look up from your book. James stands in front of you, a Quaffle under his arm as his hair splays messily across his forehead.
He's still dressed in his Quidditch Uniform and he walks closer, smiling. "Sorry I'm late—practice ran later than usual. Whatcha reading?" he asks, sitting across from you and draping his arm across the chair next to his as the Quaffle sits in his lap.
"You came," you whisper with a smile, your heart fluttering.
"Yeah, 'course I came," James says so casually as he leans over the table and taps your book, "Whatcha reading, dove? Do tell me all about it,"
You feel all warm and fuzzy like all your wildest dreams have come true, when you say, "Only if you tell me all about Quidditch practice after?" you look at him shyly.
"Your wish is my command," James grins, a faint blush on his cheeks.

word count: 3.0k part two
Tumblr media
percy jackson
• underwater kisses!! all the time!! being a son of poseidon has its benefits. the whole experience is just magical fr. it's like being in a whole different world, where nothing else matters except for the two of you. the sensation of your lips touching, your bodies intertwined, and the sound of your breathing mixing with the water is simply unforgettable. the way your hands hold onto each other, the way your eyes lock, and the way your heart beats as one, it's a feeling that can't be replicated anywhere else.
• percy 100% teaches you how to skate. the first chance he gets, he'll lead you onto the smooth, concrete surface of the skate park with the intent of teaching you!!
he patiently guides you, holding your hands and rolling you along while walking beside you. he teaches you how to shift your weight, how to balance, and how to stop. and every time you stumble, he makes a huge show of catching you in his arms LMAO. like, it's not that serious, percy.
whenever he's skating alone, he can't help but think of you. :(( the way your hair sways in the wind, the sound of your laughter, and the warmth of your hand in his. he would often skate in circles, lost in thought, imagining you by his side. <33 (all the other skaters think he looks like a fool, but he doesn't care.)
• now don't tell me you two do not have matching jewelry, because you DO. he learns a lot about your style and preferences, (he knows if you look better in gold or silver) and the pretty necklaces and stuff are just a bonus!!
he wears a necklace with several charms all the time, since it was a gift from you! some of the charms include an ocean charm and a tiny silver skateboard that dangles from the delicate chain. whenever he misses you, he would reach up and touch the necklace, feeling the smooth metal under his fingers, and smile. <33
• whenever you explain things to percy, he nods his head in agreement, but you notice his gaze flickering towards your lips ever so often. you don't know what he's thinking, but his expression provides a pretty obvious hint as to what may be on his mind.
• growing up as a child of one of the big three can certainly take its toll on anyone, even percy. after a long day of training and preventing new campers from capsizing the canoes while racing with the naiads, all he wants is to melt into your embrace.
he sneaks into your cabin with you as soon as possible, laying down on your bed, a deep sigh escaping his lips and he stretches his neck from side to side, relishing in the brief moment of peace. his arms are outstretched, inviting you to join him, as he longs for the comfort and safety of your embrace.
it's clear that being in your presence has a calming effect on him, reassuring him that everything is going to be alright. <33
annabeth chase
• annabeth has a penchant for discovering new things to learn and become deeply invested in, and she talks to you about her newest interests all the time. when you take the time to listen to her ramblings about her current passions, she gets so excited!!
sometimes, you spend hours in the library researching the concepts and terminology she speaks of, just so that you can engage in a meaningful conversation with her instead of just nodding along. the effort is well worth it to see her reaction; the way her face lights up as she smiles, leaning in to give you a big kiss on the cheek as a reward!!
• but sometimes annabeth rambles way too much. like, wayyyy too much. i'm talking hours on end. while her voice is soothing and you enjoy lying in her arms while she speaks, it can be a lot at times.
and annabeth only stops talking when she's finished gushing. unless you kiss her first.
although she tries to act like your affection doesn't work on her, complaining with phrases like, "why did you do that," or "you didn't let me finish." but her tone clearly softens. her eyes crinkling at the corners, and soon enough her facade breaks and she can no longer hold back a smile. <33
• you guys still use pinky promises. it doesn't matter if she personally thinks it's trivial, she does it for your sake because she values your belief in it. and if anyone dares to make fun of it, she'd be glaring daggers at them the entire day. if looks could kill, they'd be dead.
(and after you two interlock pinkies she kisses the palm of your hand to seal the deal.)
• annabeth isn't big on PDA, but she definitely steals kisses when people aren't looking.
• annabeth love, love, LOVES reading to you!! especially when there's nobody around and it's just the two of you, your head on her lap as she reads aloud about the wonders of Richardsonian Romanesque style architecture... whatever that is. (but she makes it sound interesting so you don't care.)
• overall 10/10, what a queen.
leo valdez
• he's your portable heater fr. leo keeps you warm by holding you close. it's particularly convenient when you're nestled on his lap or resting against his chest.
• this man can COOK. he mainly cooks food from his heritage because it's a way for him to connect to his roots, but if you ask him to make a particular dish for you, he'll do it, no questions asked. it's a common sight to catch a glimpse of him in the kitchen, diligently chopping ingredients and following the recipe to your favorite dish, getting himself completely covered in smoke and steam by the end of the process, but the result is always delicious so neither of you care.
he'll often call you into the kitchen to taste-test his newest recipe, shoving the dish in your face and urging you to try it like, "here babe, taste it!!" with the brightest smile as he eagerly waits for your feedback. he values your opinions a lot!
• him calling you petnames in spanish >>> omg. among his favorites are "mi amor" (my love), "cariño" (darling), and "corazón" (sweetheart). he usually rotates between those three and it never fails to bring a blush to your cheeks because like, hello??? how could it not??? he's always quick to notice your reaction and can't resist teasing you, playful remarks leaving his lips like, "a little flustered now are we, mi amor?" 🙏🙏🙏
• no matter how long you've been together, leo still flirts with you like it's the first time he's seen you. he'll brace himself against the nearest doorframe and unleash the cheesiest pick-up line known to mankind. despite their predictability, you play along. the game ends when he asks you on a "first date."
• leo spends a lot of time tinkering in his workshop, so whenever boredom sets in, (or if he's just thinking of you) he likes to put his creativity to use by making various small creations with you on his mind. these items range from keychains, to mini jewelry boxes, and even small flowers carved out of metal scraps. (you now have enough to make a bouquet.) your nightstand and shelves are absolutely littered with his handiwork, and you take pride in owning each one of them. <33
• leo's the type of guy that twirls you around while hugging. there's something incredibly spontaneous and thrilling about the experience — just when you think he's only reaching for your hand, he suddenly lifts you off the ground and spins you around, generating a moment of pure joy before gently setting you down once again, and leaning back in for a normal hug.
• he's so whipped for you it's not even funny.
piper mclean
• piper hates being categorized as a typical child of aphrodite due to the expectations and assumptions that come with the title, especially given the reputation of some of her siblings. she's always quick to reassure you that she won't break your heart and that her love for you is truly genuine.
• piper has a soft spot for when you play with her hair; running your fingers through her choppy locks and especially when you braid it. when you gently scratch her scalp while brushing your nails through her hair, she gets lost in her own little world.
• piper isn't afraid to show you off if you're okay with it. like she's in a beautiful, loving relationship, why wouldn't she?? also she's a hand swinger FR. 🙏🙏🙏
• you guys have matching bracelets!! nothing fancy, just a bunch of multi-colored beads on a string, but she loves them so much. sometimes you dedicate dates to making these bracelets just because it's one of her favorite pastimes.
she has one with your name written on the beads, a couple with the titles of the albums you listen to together, as well as ones with your preferred color schemes. just anything to remind her of you. <33
her collection is so big that they now stack up to her arms. maybe it's becoming a problem.
• while piper doesn't like flaunting her wealth, if she sees that you have your eye on something she'll immediately buy it for you. no questions asked. you don't even need to say anything.
maybe you'll bring it up ONCE, not even asking her to buy it, just mentioning you were saving up for a particular item, and the next day it's on your bed with a note from her. when you ask her she'll just be like, "weren't you talking about it?"
• while piper is pretty self-conscious about her singing, she'll do it if you ask her to because she trusts you. if you're having trouble sleeping, she'll lay your head in her lap and sing a short melody, and it works every time. once you drift off, she’ll place a tender kiss on your forehead, (or multiple) and express how much you mean to her, because she can't be this sentimental when you're awake.
she's so in love omg.
hazel levesque
• she's the absolute sweetest girlfriend you could ever ask for! her sweet and loving nature is simply amazing and her love for you knows no bounds. she goes above and beyond to make you feel appreciated and loved in every way possible.
• she definitely loves to go horse-back riding with you. the sensation of the wind blowing through your hair, the warm sun kissing your skin, and the gentle sound of the horse's hooves rhythmically hitting the ground beneath you — it all feels like pure magic, especially since hazel is sharing the moment with you!
• over time, hazel got more comfortable with kisses. the first time you two shared a kiss, she timidly brushed her lips against yours before rapidly withdrawing, her hands instinctively covering her face in embarrassment.
but as time went by and your relationship progressed, she soon began to relax and gain confidence, especially with you relaxing and guiding her through every step of the way. <33
PDA isn't really her thing, but when the two of you are in private, she WILL shower you with kisses on various parts of your body, including your forehead, cheeks, neck, lips, and anywhere else she can reach. i feel like she'd especially love kissing your nose. it's quite endearing to watch her stand on her toes to give you a sweet smooch if you're tall, or simply grab your face and plant a gentle kiss on your nose if you're shorter.
• hazel is doing her best to learn about your interests, but like many things in the today's world, it's a learning process for her. but your help makes her feel more at ease in this modern world. there is still a lot that hazel doesn't fully comprehend, so she values the historical insights you share with her.
• hazel's love languages are acts of service and gift giving. she loves the way your eyes light up when she pampers you. she's also so patient when she helps you with your sword-fighting!! she goes the extra mile to help you master any technique, training with you for hours on end just to see your smile. she patiently guides you through each step, offering advice and encouragement along the way. her joy comes from your progress and happiness.
• okay this is a small thing but she always lets you have the last bite!! whether you're dining out or sharing popcorn at the movies, hazel is always mindful of ensuring that you get the last bite/handful. <33
she's so cute omg.
jason grace
• i think most of us know how touch starved this man is, but he slowly eases into romantic gestures. after a long day of praetor duties, all he wants to do is melt in your arms as you whisper sweet nothings to him.
jason loovvees resting his forehead against yours. it just brings him a sense of comfort and solace, really just your presence itself makes him feel safe. <33
• jason grows to love hand-holding! it starts off with just linking pinkies, but progresses when you take his calloused palms into yours. from the second you two intertwine hands, he's hooked.
he doesn't really know how to initiate hand-holding, so he often makes excuses like, "here, let's compare hand sizes." or "aren't you cold? let me warm up your hands for you." and proceeds to take both of your hands in his without waiting for a response because he just can't ask upfront. :(( (don't worry, he gets over it as the relationship progresses.) his GRIP on your hand is so noticeable LMAO. it's like he's afraid you'll disappear if he lets go.
he most definitely places kisses on your hand. 🙏🙏🙏 i'm talking regency era jane austen style kisses to your fingertips or palm, looking away with a visible blush. <33
• hear me out, considering his expertise in combat, this man has gotta have some beefy arms okayyy?? like, it's hard not to stare at them. and once he rolls up his sleeves, it's all over FR.
he does it without thinking at first, whether it's tidying up his cabin, strategizing battle plans, or sometimes just mindlessly sighing and rolling up his sleeves when something's on his mind. but he starts to notice how your gaze lingers on his forearms a little too long to be considered "normal", and once he figures it all out, he's having a whole field day with it.
basically, he makes a point to show off his arms around you whenever he could. it drives you crazy, and guess what? he's well aware of it. you know this given that he'll occasionally flash one of his rare jason grace smiles, which later transitions into a grin with a slightly raised lip. 🙏🙏🙏
• he's such a gentleman fr. even little things like holding open doors for you even if it means waiting a few extra moments, offering his sweater when you're cold without hesitation, or fixing up a plate for you during dinner, he's always trying to make life a little easier for you. <33
frank zhang
• frank gives the best bear hugs! (both literally and figuratively.) in the early stages of a relationship, he may come across as a bit awkward. not because he doesn't want to initiate anything, but rather because he's a bit unsure of himself. he takes his time to get to know you and build trust before stepping up his game and expressing his love in more obvious ways. as time passes, he becomes more comfortable and eases into the relationship at a sweet and slow pace, making sure to respect your boundaries and wishes. :((
he loves holding you and making you feel loved, so cuddles aren't uncommon. he takes care to express his affection in a way that makes you feels comfortable and appreciated!! he's always asking you, "do you feel alright?" or "is this fine?" because what may be okay one day might not be okay the next.
typically, he prefers to be the big spoon, but he's is also happy being the little spoon, because he believes that vulnerability and intimacy go both ways in a relationship!!
• frank has the ability to shapeshift into tons of different animals, and he uses this to his advantage while cuddling with you!! imagine waking up to find a cuddly koala bear clinging onto you protectively one day, and then the next day, holding a sweet and adorable tea-cup sized labrador puppy in your hands. the cuddling possibilities are endless!!
• your decision to date frank despite any challenges along the way has had such an impact on his self-esteem. like, seriously!! every word of praise you offer him is treasured, and he adores being around you; in fact, he flourishes in your presence. your encouragement has really made a difference in his life. <33
• he love, love, LOVES holding your hand!! he seems to find every opportunity to intertwine his fingers with yours, and in moments of stress or anxiety, he'll often tap or lightly pull on your hand as if seeking reassurance because your touch brings him a sense of comfort and safety.
• considering that frank's height ranges from 6'3-6'6, you're probably shorter than him. and yeah, he definitely utilizes his height advantage around you.
he loves by approaching you from behind and embracing you, regardless of your own height, and another plus is that he can easily lean down for a kiss!!
his height is particularly convenient around high shelves or objects that may be out of your reach. his height also provides a sense of protection and security for you because he can easily shield you from any harm that may come your way!
overall, 10/10 would date again.

NRC FIRST-YEARS ── as school romances
You've convinced yourself that ACE TRAPPOLA has only gotten into the esteemed Night Raven College by some form of nepotism alone, never mind the fact that students are picked out by the magic mirror rather than a board of directors. He's far too lax in his studies and spends half the time in class playing Papa's Pizzeria and the other half bothering you, much to your misfortune. Unfortunately, even the teachers (who are ever so aware of his carefree nature) cannot do anything about him. No, his parents haven't reached out to them with a bribe to let Ace pass his classes. Yes, he's scored higher than you even though the closest you've seen him studying is him sleeping on his textbook. Believe me, they're just as irked as you are. He's not an outstanding student like Riddle or Azul by any means, but he gets by well enough. You think he does have the capability to score higher in the student leaderboard; unfortunately, Ace seems more content with passing you notes and sending you pictures of your focused expression ("l-o-l, nerd spotted," he types) in the middle of class.
Ever the opposite of his partner in crime (never willingly), DEUCE SPADE has all the motivation to becoming an academic weapon, only to become an academic victim when he sits down for the first midterm. He's certainly not lacking in effort or motivation, everyone knows this; he's just a little… slow. There's no other way to put it, really. You do feel bad; sitting next to him in class lets you see his notes which are, albeit messy, as detailed and concise as can be. He genuinely does enjoy learning when he finally gets ahold of the concept he's supposed to be studying, but the journey to that point is hard and miserable, even for you when you watch him. Perhaps that's why you take up the noble affair of tutoring him… as best as you can, really. You're still a student, after all, and by no means an academic weapon. But Deuce seems to think you are, all bright-eyed and eager whenever you come by the Heartslabyul dormitory or the spot in the library that had somewhere along the lines began to be known as "yours". Whether that makes your heart flutter, you can't really bring yourself to admit with your hectic schedule── but perhaps during school break, you'll give "this" a proper shot.
Your relationship with JACK HOWL had a rocky start, as all random classmates who are coincidentally paired up in every single project do. He was by no means a terrible partner or even a mildly annoying person; no, Jack was, in fact, endlessly polite and mindful of your boundaries, not to mention an efficient student and, by extension, the best project partner when it came to actually getting the work done. The awkward nature of your early relationship was based solely on the fact that neither of you had known each other prior to your first ever project, and for good reason. You shared no common interests, belonged to different dormitories and social circles─ the list went on. So imagine your surprise when your friend rushes to you, red in the face as they tell you about the Jack Howl's crush on you. You almost don't believe it, not until Jack approaches you himself the next day, an odd flush to his cheeks and his friends' colourful heads rustling about in the bushes behind him. Good-looking, he calls you, alongside other simple and sweet adjectives that should not make your heart sing as much as it does. He asks to spend more time with you, to know you better in such a way that is so considerate it nearly brings you to tears. In the end, how could you have said no?
EPEL FELMIER is a daydream in velvet, with the big blue eyes and cherubic expression of every ingenue; the object of a knight in shining armour's affections, the sort of person other guys would climb up a tower for or slay a fire-breathing dragon. This is how you've known him, though you yourself have never participated in the word of mouth of these rumours, simply a bystander. It is not until you first meet Epel when he is without his sweet, doe-eyed facade that you realise the rumours are far from the truth. He curses like a sailor when you practically barrel into him in the middle of the hallway, sending papers flying and the two of you careening towards the floor almost cartoonishly, and you discover how those pretty features of his can just as easily contort into a nasty scowl that would make any 5 year-old cry. You also learn that Epel has just as much little regard for his torn dorm uniform as he has distaste for being nagged at by his dorm leader, and that he is quick-witted in all the wrong ways, seeing you as an escape route. One thing leads to another, and you find yourself playing hooky with the last person you ever thought capable of such a thing─ perhaps the first of many occasions, though you don't quite know this yet.
SEBEK ZIGVOLT is loud. You don’t know him well enough to say that he means nothing bad by it, but you aren’t so chummy that you’d say it isn’t a bother either. Still, the volume of his voice never posed much of an issue to you until your final examination week. Sebek, had he known you earlier, might have blamed your poor time management, but that could have done nothing to change the fact that you were in cognitive overload from trying to jam a whole term’s worth of lessons and lectures into your head on the night before your exams. Capable as he is as Malleus’ vassal, he has no idea what to do when you burst into tears and begin wailing in the middle of the corridor. Of course, his first action is attempt to get you to stop crying, which is essentially not synonymous with actually comforting you; nevertheless, he doesn't directly tell you to shut up and tries to pat your back (albeit a little roughly), so you suppose he deserves some credit. You sniffle, too sleep-deprived and upset to register that you've begun to release all your recent frustrations to poor Sebek── or that he's pulled you to the side of the empty corridor, and now he's just crouching down next to you awkwardly as you ramble on. You find that he's a good listener, and capable of a surprising gentleness when he shares some of his own struggles with you. It's a night not so easily forgotten── and the following morning is the same for your friends when they see the notorious Sebek Zigvolt speaking quietly with you at the door of the exam hall, his ears tinted pink as he stiffly wishes you luck on your exam.

Our Missing Piece
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: they’re all in love w/ you 🤭 x fem!reader
Word count: 1.3k
TW: none! Fluff galore!
Featuring: Draco, Theo, Mattheo, Pansy
Summary: As Hogwarts’s newest student, you generally keep to yourself, staying out of the spotlight. That is until you beat the famous Harry Potter in a classroom duel and win the hearts of a bunch of down-bad Slytherins, who jump at the chance to take you under their wing.
Tumblr media
Please don’t pick me, please don’t pick me.
Professor Snape’s looming eyes scale the shaking students in front of him, deciding who he’ll choose to go next in your Defense Against the Dark Arts mock-wand battles. McGonagall has already made her choice, sending the famous Harry Potter walking proudly to the center, taking a wide stance.
You’ve managed to stay relatively out of the way since starting at Hogwarts, about a month ago. Since you stepped foot off the train, you decided to dedicate yourself to your studies, giving in to your introverted tendencies.
But you’d be lying if you said you didn’t long for friendship each time you spotted girls skipping in the hallway together, or when the Weasley crew bursts into laughter at lunch, or when you spot the Ravenclaws studying in the library.
Suddenly, your head of house’s voice penetrates the air, slicing through the anticipation like a swift dagger.
“Miss Y/L/N,” Snape announces, gesturing a finger to approach him.
Son of a bitch.
You look around, the color draining from your face as you observe every head turning to look at you. You make your way up to the raised platform, passed your professor, when an oddly gentle hand on your shoulder stops you short.
Snape kneels, lowering his voice to a mutter.
“Breathe. Forget his name. He is only a boy.”
You nod, swallowing your fear and taking your first steps toward Harry. You repeat the words in your head, closing your eyes momentarily and wiping the sweat from your palms.
He is only a boy.
“On your marks,” Professor Lupin instructs, the both of you lifting your wands to position. Harry nods to you in greeting, which you return with eyes like headlights. You try your best to ignore your racing pulse and quickened breath.
What the hell am I going to do?
A sly, boyish voice from the Slytherin crowd behind you catches your ear, a voice you can almost put a name to. The phrase ripples in your head, echoing until it becomes a solid thought.
“Careful of that one, Potter. She’s lethal.”
You grin to yourself, the remark helping to relax your shoulders and straighten your posture. And for the first time since arriving here, you feel a confidence that’s been waiting to unleash… you feel like a Slytherin.
She’s lethal.
In a split second, you choose a spell and devise the best handwork to perform it.
Yes, I bloody am.
Lupin conducts a countdown, and at the same time, you each send magic hurdling at each other. But you’re sharp, cunning, and quick. Maybe you’ve only been here a month, but you know enough to identify his weakness on the spot.
His softer, disarming expelliarmus meets your driving, aggressive bombarda, as a fantastic collision of colors explodes in the center of the platform. Students yell in reaction, stepping a few feet back.
The blast sends Harry straight down, rolling over a few times from the forceful impact. You had directed it specifically to hit at just the right moment, as not to cause injury.
After a second, you find yourself still on your feet, the smoke clearing slowly in the air. But the second your house spots Potter on the ground, a roar like hell erupts behind you. A small smile returns to your face, along with a glimmer in your gaze.
You bow, then stroll over to your opponent, respectfully offering to help him back on his feet. Your face contorts in confusion when he stands on his own, shaking you off.
“Good match, Potter! Nice to meet you.” You extend your hand, finding your soft, yet direct voice.
“Not shaking your hand if you belong to those filthy Slytherins,” he replies, a pang of hurt hitting your chest at the rejection. You’re lost on where you went wrong, all you did was follow instructions.
“She sure as hell does!”
Suddenly, a mass of rushed footsteps approaches you from behind, the boyish voices multiplying as they celebrate your victory.
“Told you to be careful, Potter.” Draco mocks, sending a wink his way. A boy you recognize as Mattheo speaks up next.
“The boy who lived- oh, sorry, I meant the boy who got leveled by a fourth year!” He snickers, taking a stance by your side. He looks to you, nudging your shoulder in encouragement with a gleam of pride in his eyes. His next words are just for you.
“Wicked job out there, darling.”
The closeness of his face to yours sends a shiver down your back, his charming smile luring you in. Harry interrupts, his tone annoyed.
“Run from this lot while you can, Y/N.”
“Paws off, Potter. This one’s ours.” Draco sneers, throwing an arm around you and pulling you close to his side. A blush develops on your face, remembering his sentiment from before your duel.
“That’s too bad, a smart girl like you wasting your time with a bunch of snakes.” He spits.
Theodore, the Italian transfer from Rome, pipes in with his two cents. He’s tall, and intimidating. His mere presence ushers other students out of the way.
“I’d tell you to eat shit, Harry, but you already did.” The diss earns an uproarious laugh from the group. Pansy stands behind you, resting her head on your shoulder.
“Someone’s a sore loser,” she says to Harry in her sing-song way. “Not every legend has a prophecy, mate.” She squeezes your arm, giggling to you and herself.
And to that, he storms away, his Gryffindor friends following after. You turn to the group, unable to produce words after their glowing display of support. They each take their turn giving you hugs and chanting your name, Pansy opting to play with your hair.
“I think you’re our missing piece.” Mattheo proclaims. “We sort of need someone who-”
“Can save our arses?” Theo finishes the thought. “She’s way bloody better at magic than we are.”
“I believe he’s referring to the several… ahem, situations, we get ourselves into… at times.” Draco says hesitantly, his gaze drinking in your every feature, admiring his newest recruit.
For the first time, you find yourself surrounded by people who like you. Who admire you, want you for themselves. They’re actually excited, thrilled even, to make you one of their own. You couldn’t have imagined it unfolding like this, but you’re damn glad it did.
“Should’ve known she was the one when Draco was nearly drooling over her in Potions class…” Pansy interjects. Draco’s face goes wildly pink, unable to hide his bashfulness behind his pale complexion.
“What else can you do, new girl?” Theo inquires, his demeanor mysterious and intriguing.
“In che senso?” You respond, using the very little Italian you picked up on your last summer trip. His face lights up, a wave of sheer attraction and awe written all over it.
He clasps your hand, holding it like a damn trophy. “I think I’ll marry you someday.” He confesses.
Mattheo pushes him away from you in order to regain your attention by offering to carry your books to the next class.
“Allow me, love.” Mattheo says as the boys continue to shove and trip over each other to engage with you.
You nod, shooting a puzzled look at Pansy while the boys gather your things and start to lead the group out. She pulls you aside, linking arms with you, the Slytherin champion.
“They’ve all been pining since they first laid eyes on you, you bloody bombshell.” She jokes, revealing the boy’s truth.
“But then you beat Potter, and well… that sealed the deal. I’ve never seen heart-eyes like that from any of them, let alone all of them.”
You catch Draco staring longingly at the two of you, quickly glancing elsewhere to play off his obvious infatuation with you. You smile and wave to him, biting your lip as he nods your way.
Pansy leaves you with one last thought before you all head to Potions, gesturing her head towards Draco.
“They’re all quite competitive. But that one… that one will end the world for you, Y/N.”
Lethal, you think to yourself.
Because he’s lethal, too.

﹙ 🎬 ﹚ ────FALLING HEAD OVER SKATES FOR YOU.

Tumblr media
THE RINK WAS BUSTLING WITH PURE JOY AND EXCITEMENT.
laughter echoing off the walls as people skated by, some with grace, others, like you, cautiously clinging to the sides.
your friends had been the ones to convince you to try ice skating, promising it would be fun.
and, while it did look magical, you couldn’t shake the feeling that you were one slip away from making a very un-magical impression on the cold, unforgiving ice.
“just let go of the wall, y/n!” one of your friends shouted, gliding backward as if she’d been born with skates on.
“it’s easy once you get the hang of it!”
you gave her a skeptical look, clutching the wall as if it were a lifeline. “i think i’ll just… stay right here for now.”
taking a deep breath, you ventured a small step forward, wobbling unsteadily. for a split second, you felt a tiny thrill of success—until your other foot slid out from under you. ── 𝖬𝖮𝖱𝖤 𝖴𝖭𝖣𝖤𝖱 𝖢𝖴𝖳 .ᐟㅤ
panic shot through you as you lost your balance, bracing yourself for an inevitable crash.
but instead of hitting the ice, you found yourself tumbling into something warm, steady, and… incredibly solid.
strong arms wrapped around you just in time, and before you knew it, you were lying sprawled on top of someone, safe from the icy floor below.
wide-eyed, you looked down, meeting the gaze of the boy who had, quite literally, broken your fall.
his dark eyes sparkled, and there was a soft, surprised smile on his face, cheeks pink from the cold—or maybe something else.
“are you alright?” he asked, voice soft with concern—for a moment, all you could do was stare, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks.
you’d fallen onto him so perfectly that your faces were inches apart, noses basically touching and close enough that you could count the tiny snowflakes caught in his hair.
he was breathtakingly handsome, and it took you a moment to remember that you still had to answer.
“oh! yes! i’m… i’m okay, i think.” you managed a shy smile, feeling your heart race as he continued to look up at you, his arms still around you to keep you steady.
the two of you stayed like that, frozen in place, neither of you daring to move.
there was a soft warmth between you that was impossible to ignore, and for a heartbeat, it felt like you were the only two people on the ice.
just as you felt yourself get lost in his gaze, a voice broke through the spell.
“y/n! are you okay?!” one of your friends called out, rushing over with wide eyes.
flushing, you quickly scrambled to get up, suddenly feeling flustered as you realized the scene you’d just made.
but before you could pull away, he helped you, still gentle as he steadied you on your feet.
“thanks for the save,” you said, looking down with a small, shy laugh.
you could barely look him in the eye, but when you did, his smile was warm, reassuring—there was something about it that made you feel… safe.
“don’t worry about it,” he replied, chuckling softly. “it’s the least i could do after you made my day a little more interesting.”
you laughed, cheeks flushing. “i… definitely didn’t mean to do that.”
“hey, it’s not every day you get to save someone like that,” he teased, his voice light but warm.
he gave a small, playful salute before skating off to join his group of friends waiting for him on the other side of the rink, but not before flashing you one last, lingering smile.
you stood there, dazed, watching him glide away with a grace that made you even more aware of your wobbly knees.
as you tried to regain your bearings, your friends surrounded you, eager for all the details. “who was that?” they demanded, eyes sparkling. “he’s cute!”
“i… don’t know,” you admitted, still a little in a daze.
you couldn’t get his face out of your head—the way his eyes had looked at you with that gentle expression, the way his smile lingered even as he skated away.
it was as if he’d left an impression you couldn’t shake.
the rest of the evening passed in a blur, but no matter how much you tried to focus on your friends or keep your balance, you couldn’t help but look around, hoping to catch another glimpse of him.
and every so often, you’d find him glancing your way, his eyes crinkling in a shy smile each time he caught you looking back.
he was graceful on the ice, moving like he was weightless, and watching him made you want to skate just a little better yourself.
at one point, he skated close by, giving you a small, almost teasing wave as he passed, and you waved back with a sheepish smile, your cheeks warming.
each glance he gave you was like a tiny spark, something thrilling yet innocent, and it only made you want to keep watching him.
finally, as the rink’s closing time approached, you made your way to the edge, working to pry off your skates.
part of you felt relieved to be off the ice, but another part was… disappointed. you didn’t want to leave just yet.
as you slipped into your shoes, you felt a light tap on your shoulder. turning, you looked up—and there he was again, standing there with a soft, almost shy smile.
“hi,” he said, his voice gentle, as if he didn’t want to scare you away. “uh, i just wanted to say… you did pretty well out there. for a beginner, i mean.”
you felt a laugh bubble up, and you smiled, feeling your cheeks heat up. “you really don’t have to say that. i think i fell more times than i skated.” you said sheepishly.
he laughed, his eyes sparkling. “that’s what makes it impressive. you kept going.”
his gaze softened, and he scratched the back of his neck, glancing down for a moment as if gathering his courage.
“actually… if you ever want to practice more, i could help. you know, teach you a few tricks— only if you want though..”
the offer hung in the air, his meaning unmistakable. he was asking you to go skating with him. alone.
your heart skipped a beat, and you felt your cheeks warm. “you… really wouldn’t mind?”
he shook his head, that same shy smile spreading across his face. “not at all. it’d be fun, right?”
unable to stop yourself from smiling, you nodded. “i’d love that.”
he grinned, looking as relieved as he did thrilled, and quickly pulled out his phone, handing it to you with a timid and shy manner that was somehow adorable.
“maybe… you could put your number in?”
your fingers brushed his as you took his phone, feeling a rush of excitement as you typed in your number.
when you handed it back, he looked down at the screen, saving it with a quiet smile before glancing up.
“oh, i’m sunghoon, by the way,” he said, almost as an afterthought. “nice to meet you.”
“y/n,” you replied, your smile growing. “nice to meet you too, sunghoon.”
as you turned to leave, you heard a loud cheer from behind you—his friends, who had apparently been watching the whole exchange, were clapping and whistling in encouragement, laughing as they nudged each other.
sunghoon rolled his eyes, shooting them a mock-annoyed look, but there was a fondness in his smile.
you looked back one last time, catching his eye as you waved goodbye.
sunghoon’s face lit up, and he waved back with a smile that promised you’d see each other again.
the night air felt warmer as you walked away, heart racing and cheeks still pink.
and as you left the rink, you couldn’t help but smile to yourself, your phone clutched tightly in your hand, excitement bubbling up at the thought of seeing him again—maybe with his arms around you once more.

congrats, you accidentally turned your whiny demon boyfriend into a vampire. now, how are you gonna keep him distracted from the toe-curling bloodlust, until you figure out how to turn him back?
pairing: vampire! mammon x gn! reader contents: bondage, biting, handjob, unprotected sex, creampie, multiple orgasm, overstimulation, blood-drinking, petnames (treasure, baby) praise, you wear his clothes wordcount: 1.8k

Ah yes, another day in the Devildom, another day of We–Accidentially–Turned–My–Boyfriend–Into–A–Vampire–Due–To–A–Magic–Amulet–We–Found–At–The–Bottom–Of–A–Lake–And–Now–We–Have–To–Figure–Out–Away–To–Turn–Him–Back–Before–He–Eats–Everyone.
You sigh and look at your boyfriend, who’s been dutifully tied to his headboard by a spell Solomon quickly showed you. It presents itself as whatever the one who cast it wants it to. In your case, this means pretty yellow ribbons wrapped around his neck, torso, and hips.
Although you wish you were at the library trying to help Mammon’s brothers and Solomon find a solution to this new-found problem, it was agreed upon that it’s best you stay here. The spell needs to be redone every hour, and someone needs to watch him.
You’re also the only person Mammon is snarling and yelling curses at. Instead, your demon is resolving to begging. Pretty, eerily red eyes locked on your form at all times, eyebrows knitted together, and lips shaped in a pout.
“Please,” he whines, and you sigh from your end of the bed. “I’m tired, treasure. And cold. And my teeth hurt.”
He’s all complaints and whines, but you know what he’s really after. You can see the tent in his pants and the way his mouth salivates just by looking at you. You have no doubt all he wants to do is have you sit pretty and pliant on his cock while he buries his teeth in your neck. You’re not sure it’s a good idea.
“You know we can’t, baby,” you reply, flipping through the book of spells in your lap. It hurts you to say, though. Especially with the whimper that leaves your boyfriend and the way he sinks into his bed, his body slumping against the headboard behind him.
“But the others are already searchin’ for a spell,” he tries to reason. “Your job is to care for me.”
Your heart sinks, and you sigh, closing the book in your lap. Solomon did tell you that they would figure it out soon enough. Would it be so bad if you gave in and helped out Mammon in the way only you can? You glare at him, but he only seems to light up, knowing he’s won this round.
“Come sit, baby,” he encourages, squirming in his seat, and you crawl over to him, straddling his lap and positioning yourself right on top of his bulge. The moan that leaves Mammon is downright guttural. He throws his head back, hitting the wall behind him with a thud as his eyes roll back and his whole body shudders.
The spell doesn’t even allow him to thrust up into you. He can only sit and look pretty with his arms locked to his sides and his hands clenched into fists. He’s wearing sweatpants and a thin shirt that’s coated in sweat, and you can see the patch of precum soiling the fabric beneath you.
You, like the fucking tease you are, are wearing Mammon’s shirt and a pair of his boxers. With only two thin layers separating your bodies, Mammon has never felt more desperate. He wishes he could get you underneath him and bury his cock in your tight heat while he sink his teeth into your neck. He’d fuck you so good; he knows he would, and your blood would be the perfect reward.
He can hear it rushing in your veins, and it clouds his judgement. You smell so nice. Sweet and salty, the perfect combination of human and magic.
You sigh and flip his sweaty hair away from his forehead.
“You’re burning up, baby,” you mutter, and he nods, still pouting at you and giving you his most perfect puppy eyes, though you’re slightly distracted by his pupils being red, not the usual mix of blue and yellow that you love.
“Please,” he mutters, and you watch drool collect in the corners of his lips, his mouth not being used to the new and much more prominent fangs in his mouth. “Hurts,”
You visibly soften and bring your hands to his crotch, palming his cock beneath his sweats. Mammon mewls at this, his eyes going half-lidded, and you press harder, stroking the imprint of his length before you slip your hand beneath the waistband and pull out his flushed throbbing dick. Mammon curses at the contact, and you can tell he wants to buck up into your hand but he can’t.
Slowly, you stroke him while you lean in and kiss his jaw. Unfortunately, he can’t get any kisses on the lips today. This will have to do. But it seems to be enough for your horny boyfriend because globs of precum coat your hand, making the glide easier as his dick twitches in your hold. You watch his Adam's apple bop, and you slip a free hand underneath his shirt, feeling his abs tense.
“My poor baby,” you hum, kissing his neck this time. “My sweet demon. I wish I could give you what you want,” you say, and Mammon whines.
“You can. I promise. I’ll be good, won’ take too much.”
You shake your head and cup his cheek.
“We both know you can’t, baby." Your voice is sweet, shacarine. Mammon feels the buildup of an orgasm in his core, and he moans unashamed into the air. You run your thumb over his tip, and he shudders hard, his eyes rolling to the back of his head as he comes onto your hand. You coo, stroking him through his orgasm, coaxing him back to you and grinning at him.
“That feel good?”
“Yes, more please.”
You love it when Mammon gets pliant like this. A little praise, and he’s putty in your hands, all his big bad demon facade gone as he begs for orgasm after orgasm. Mammon loves being tortured. He loves when you tease him, when you bring him right to the edge, only to remove your affections and leave him hanging, but he loves it more when you make him come again and again and again, till he’s sobbing, babbling incoherent phrases, whether it’s by your hands, mouth, or sweet warmth.
You don’t say anything, but you pull off your (Mammon's) boxers and position his swollen cockhead right at your entrance, sinking down on him. The glide is easy due to his cock being coated in cum, but your eyes still sting at the stretch and your mouth falls agape as you stabilise yourself with your hands on his shoulders.
Your boyfriend is a mess. Your distraction is working because he’s no longer thinking about eating you, much too busy with how good you feel around him and how tight and warm it all is. He throbs and throbs, cock leaking obscene amounts of precum and you giggle, though you’re also affected by him being nestled deep inside of you.
“Feels good?” you repeat, and Mammon nods furiously.
“So good,” his chin is coated in spit, and tears are rolling down his cheeks. You wipe them gently with your thumbs before moving down to his mouth and running your fingers over his gums.
Mammon moans loudly at this, and you gasp, pressing harder against his gums, watching the way your boyfriend transforms into a spineless mess. You massage his gums while you slowly begin grinding your hips against his, and it barely takes a minute before Mammon comes inside you, dick painting your walls white. You moan at the feeling, watching the way his brows knit together in bliss.
“Phuck me, shoo phucking good,” he whines in muffled speech, and you laugh.
“Mammon, baby, you look like a mess,” you state, removing your spit-coated fingers from his mouth but continuing to grind against him. He glares at you but doesn’t correct you, probably well aware of how he looks right now.
His dick feels like it’s going to fall off. You’re gonna milk him dry at this pace, and he tugs on his restraints, desperately wanting to push you into his mattress and sink his teeth into your neck.
Delighted, he realises that the restraints fall off. The spell has worn off. You barely have time to react before you’re flipped around, Mammon settling his weight on top of you and pushing your legs to your stomach, trapping you in a mean mating press. He puts both your legs over one shoulder, so he can bury his face in your neck and breathe you in.
His hips are mean. You think you might've teased him too much this time because he’s fucking you hard and fast, his tip nudging at your sweet spot, making you see starts. Any thoughts on how to get out of this situation are immediately pushed to the back of your mind as you come hard, your body tensing up and your walls squeezing Mammon’s cock.
Mammon wastes no time to bury his teeth in your neck, piercing through your flesh. The minute your blood reaches his taste buds, he comes too, filling you up for the second time. He moans loudly into your neck, fucking you both into overstimulation, ignoring your whines and pleas as your eyes roll to the back of your head and your toes curl.
The feeling of being used as a toy while Mammon’s teeth simultaneously sink into your neck is euphoric. You feel high on the mix of pain and pleasure, along with the slight lightheadedness that comes with being fed on.
Once Mammon has had his fill, he lets go of your neck. The little yellow monster in his stomach tells him to have more, to eat up, but then he looks at your face and the way your mouth is slightly agape, and your brows are furrowed, small gasps leaving you each time his cock bottoms out inside of you and all desire to suck you dry is replaced with a need to make you come again and again and again.
“Mams,” you whimper, wrapping your arms around his neck, and he moans, kissing your cheek and smearing blood on your skin.
“You taste so good, treasure, so fuckin’ good,” he whines, his hips moving faster against the back of your thighs. You can hardly say anything, having been reduced to ah! ah! ah! and Mammon giggles.
“Wanna make you come again,” he states, and you shake your head, your eyes filling with dread. Your body is burning. You think you might die if you come again, but Mammon smiles boyishly and nuzzles his head into your neck, licking over the wounds he left. “As a thank you,” he adds.
You can feel the knot in your core tightening, and you cry out when you come, your vision going white, and blood rushing in your ears. You don’t even hear when the door to Mammon’s room is thrown open.
“We found a cure! Wait, what the fuck?”

Dc x Dp prompt #1: Angel
I'd like to preface this by saying I'm incorporating tropes I've seen in other posts.
~~~
Jason has been a lot happier recently. His Pit Rage has been getting less and less frequent, he's cooking and coming over to the manor a lot more, and he even let Dick hug him last week without threatening bodily harm!
The rest of the batfam, while happy for him, are curious about the change. So one night at dinner they ask him what's up with him and why he's so happy recently. Surprisingly, instead of taking it the wrong way and getting mad Jason is eager to share.
Apparently, Jason has a boyfriend now. Yay!
He goes on and on about this civilian he met after stoping a cult who was trying to summon a deity and how he is this nerdy college kid who really likes space and how their civilian identies shared the same Gen Ed course so he made an effort to become friends. Turns out that nerdy space guy had caused the initial improvement in mood and his offer to go on a date to an incredibly diverse and well-stocked library had been the cherry on top.
The only thing is that Jason didn't want them stalking the guy and refered to him around the family exclusively as "Angel". Everyone thinks that's just a cute pet name he gave the guy as a way to both reference and distract the civilian from the cult ritual he was probably rescued from. Little do they know that it's actually because "Angel" was not a victim of the cult ritual but the summonee, that appeared in the form of a biblically accurate angel.
One day some supernatural entity decideds to attack Gotham and everyone is calling whoever they can think of for back-up. Batman calls Constantine, Nightwing calls Zatana, Red Robin and Robin are contacting the Justice League, and even Red Hood seems to call someone.
The situation is getting desperate. The JL is here but at most the can just slow the supernatural being down. Constantine and Zatana are still 20 minutes out and things are looking bad when another Eldritch Being spawns and seems to take down the threat in one move.
Everyone stands stunned as the being turns to them and in a booming voice exclaims "DON'T BE AFRAID. I WAS CALLED TO HELP". They all go through several emotions upon hearing those words. Where did this being come from? Is this a biblically accurate angel? Who called it here to help? Was it Zatana or maybe Constantine? Are they here yet? Upon looking around it is found that Zatana and Constantine are not here yet and the heroes get ready to engage this being carefully when a voice calls out
"Angel!"
Everyone whips their heads around to see Jason climbing over debris towards the Eldritch Being in front of them. The Batfam feels faint with a creeping realization and Superman swears he heard Batman's heart skip a beat for a second. Before anyone can ask Jason what he's doing the being shapeshifts into the much smaller form of a young fae-like creature with pointed ears, fangs, stark white hair, and vibrant green eyes floating in the air. He flys over to Jason before a flash of bright light leaves a young man deep black hair and frosty blue eyes in Jason's arms.
Jason turns to introduce his boyfriend to his family and the League only to find that Batman has fainted, a panicking JL, and a gobsmacked Zatana and Constantine have who've arrived in time to see the transformation. As Zatana and Constantine begin to freak out and prepare defensive magic Batman comes to and levels a scowl at Jason.
"Hood, I think you have some explaining to do."
Mattheo Riddle's Guide To Win Y/N's Heart
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a/n: okay, this one might not be the best, but it's sweet. also, i wrote this in the middle of the night lol
dividers by @chachachannah
It all started a week ago when Mattheo strutted into the Great Hall in the morning with that stupid, confident grin plastered across his lips.
“It’s 7:30. In the morning,” Theo raised an eyebrow at him as to why he was in a good mood so early for his liking.
“I have the master plan to get Y/N to date me,” Mattheo stated proudly, to which Enzo and Theo shared a look, and the latter snorted a laugh.
“And how are you gonna do that, Casanova?” Pansy chimed in too.
“Psychology,” Mattheo shrugged simply, deeply believing that his master plan would work perfectly.
He read in Enzo’s book that if you want to be appealing to a woman, you should sit across her at a table and if about to win a man’s heart, you should sit right beside him. So, the first trick he tried was sitting across you at the table in all cases, even if it meant two people — including you — sitting on the one side and five people squeezed together on the one across because Mattheo wanted to sit across you with millimeter accuracy. First, you didn’t understand it one bit. You only sensed Mattheo growing weirder by the day and your friends having more fun directly proportionally and putting two and two together, you realized these two are actually related.
The next thing was wearing red. Now this one was a hilarious one; on Tuesday afternoon when you, Enzo, and Mattheo were due to study together for Arithmancy (which, may I mention, Mattheo only took up because you did so too), Mattheo slumped down on the chair across you at the table in the library, wearing a Gryffindor hoodie.
“What on earth-“ Enzo shook his head in disbelief but you had to fight back a loud outburst of laughter.
“Hi, Y/N,” Mattheo grinned confidently but you shook your head with a grin still lingering on your lips.
“Whose is this?” you nodded in the direction of the hoodie hugging his upper body.
See, the problem with wearing red was that he didn’t own a single clothing piece of the colour, so he had to think outside the box and be creative for this one.
He looked down nonchalantly and shrugged with that familiar smirk. “Longbottom’s. I’m sure he doesn’t mind.”
Enzo buried his face into his hands next to you, trying to hold a groan back from escaping as your mouth hung open and your eyes widened. “He doesn’t know?”
“His door was open…”
You, knowing Mattheo, lifted your eyebrows in disbelief as he clearly didn’t tell the exact truth.
“Well- it wasn’t open, but soon it opened magically and I took it as an invitation…”
“You Alohomora’d his door to get a burgundy hoodie for Merlin-knows-what?”
“Well, y- wait. Burgundy? This is red,” Mattheo shook his head as he stiffened. He was convinced it was pure red — boys and their eyes for colours, huh?
Enzo snorted a laugh finally, knowing exactly Mattheo was trying to use the ‘red makes you appear more attractive’ law of psychology on you and he technically failed.
“No, darling, this is burgundy,” you chuckle which by the way, Mattheo found adorable, even in the middle of his embarrassment, plus, you called him darling — so he took it that you actually fell for his trick and, well, for him too.
But of course, there were things in Enzo’s psychology book Mattheo didn’t even think of doing. This was, for one, playing hard to get. Because he knew his eyes would have failed him every time he’d tried to close you out, and he knew exactly how well you were able to see right through him. You being concerned about him was also a problem with this because as Pansy once absent-mindedly drew his attention to how you noticed people’s energies shift pretty quickly, he had to close this option out completely.
Another one was putting on a cocky, intimidating, or prideful look because of the same reason; you noticing the energy shifts, and because no matter how hard he’d tried, that stupid grin had grown on him and your sight only fueled it.
He tried mirroring your body language, too. You were leaning forward at breakfast, tiredly resting against the wooden dining table? He was sitting opposite you, sitting as if he was actually in your mirror. You ran a hand through your hair? Guess what, he had to scratch his head. Even when your leg was bouncing nervously under the desk in History of Magic, he sure mirrored it.
You weren’t oblivious to this either, and you knew something was up — but you simply thought he was playing a prank on you. And your friends being awfully quiet whenever you brought up how weird Mattheo was being around you only added to your suspicion.
“I see” was a common way for him to start whatever he had on his mind. Because, research by MIT showed that women were more attracted to men who used the phrases “I see,” “Okay,” and “Yep.” And for him, he used them until he’s grown sick of them.
But of all the things he’d tried, his favourite — and yours too — was touching. Touching you had always lightened his day, even if it was just a tap on your shoulder to enquire about the time. And his touch provided reassurance for you, whenever he touched you for even a split second you knew you had someone to count on, someone to be comforted by. When you were tired in class he had a shoulder to offer for you to rest your head on (not Theo though because he could go fuck himself rather than sleep on his best friend’s shoulder, respectfully, in the best friend in question’s opinion.) When you were anxious, he chose to put his quill down and not take notes, rather have his hand comforting you by rubbing little circles on your thigh just above your knee (and sometimes a little too high), having his arm around you or playing with your hair, saying he’d borrow your notes later to catch up, which he never did.
However, things haven’t changed for two more weeks. And, as time went on, Mattheo grew more and more desperate, seeking the moment he could finally hold you in his arms and kiss the life out of you. He was waiting for the moment when he could confess his love to you — or, which would have been more convenient, and a whole ego boost for him, to have you come crawling by yourself, singing odes about him. But he realized it was a rather unlikely scenario that lived rent-free in his head.
“That book sucks,” Mattheo complained to Enzo one evening in the common room frustratedly as he sank into the green velvet material of the couch.
“Why so?” Enzo didn’t even look up from his Transfiguration essay he was desperately trying to put a dot on the end of for an hour.
“‘Cause I tried everything! And Y/N still doesn’t have a clue how I love her,” he let out a grunt as he let his head fall back against the backrest of the sofa and rubbed his closed eyes tiredly. “She’s still not into me.”
“I am into you,” your voice came down on him like a rain of cold ice. After nagging for two whole weeks, Pansy agreed to fill you in about what Mattheo called his master plan, and you finally understood what it was all about.
Mattheo’s eyes shot open to see he hasn’t hallucinated your reassuring words in that sweet tone you always talk to him with, and to make sure you are very physically standing there. He quickly got up from where he was and sat on the couch next to Enzo, who seemed to be in a completely other world with how concentrated he was on his Transfiguration homework.
Mattheo quickly made his way over to you, standing just a few feet apart with that stupid grin already growing on his lips as he took you, your gorgeous figure, bright smile, and shiny eyes in. “Are you now, princess?” He asked in a tone sweet like honey while tugging a strand of hair behind your ear.
You rolled your eyes at him before taking a step closer to the point that your chests were grinding against each other, to Mattheo’s biggest pleasure. And before he knew it, your lips came crashing against his in a long-awaited kiss and his arms slithered around your waist so naturally like they were made to be resting there. However, you pulled away after a few seconds before it could’ve got a little too carried away. “Did you really steal Longbottom’s hoodie so that I’d find you more attractive?” You chuckled with a touched but still a little mocking smile.
“Borrowed it. I returned it after you told me it wasn’t the right colour,” he rolled his eyes at you too, but he was the happiest guy on earth right then and there because he had all right to wrap his arms around you like a shield, protecting you from the world and its horrible people.
Field Trip
sana x fem reader
fluff, suggestive 2.5K words
Teacher Sana, librarian reader, and the crew chaperone a year-end trip for the kids graduating elementary school. It’s exciting, it’s changing, we’re arguing, ugh!
a/n: sequel to Sunshine :) also chae, momo, tzu, mina and nayeon are in sixth grade now so you know… they change
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You wrinkle your forehead, pondering which books would be perfect for story time on the upcoming trip. It’s the kids’ final year at this school—should you choose something about the teenage years, high school drama? Or keep their imaginations alive with something more whimsical? They’ve grown so moody and sharp-tongued, you wonder if they’ll even sit still long enough for a story.
The soft creak of the library door catches your attention, and you don’t need to turn around to know who it is. Her scent pulls you in as she draws closer. Hands slide around your waist from behind, and you can’t help but smile. “My sunshine,” Sana murmurs, planting a gentle kiss on your jaw.
You hum softly, half-lost in thought, as Sana’s lips brush against the back of your neck. Her hands glide up, fingers tracing your sides, slow and teasing. “What’s got you thinking so hard?” she whispers, her lips close to your ear, voice low and playful. You try to focus, but her touch is persistent, her fingers pressing into your waist just enough to make your breath hitch.
“I’m just… trying to figure out the right books for the kids,” you manage, though your voice wavers when Sana’s hands slip to your hips, pulling you back gently against her.
“Mmm, always working. My baby’s so good and perfect,” she purrs, letting her lips trail down your neck. “Need me? There’s a few ways I can help.” Her hands wander, and the warmth of her body presses into you as she sways you both, ever so slightly.
You bite your lip, trying to keep your thoughts straight, but she’s relentless, her touch making it hard to think about anything except her. “Sana,” you say, though it’s more of a breath than a warning.
“Hmm?” she replies, her voice full of mischief as her hands drift higher. “Let me help.”
You sigh, fighting to stay focused. “I’m serious, Sana,” you manage to say, though your voice is unsteady with the way her lips linger on your neck, her touch making it hard to concentrate.
“I’m serious too,” she whispers, her fingers slipping beneath the hem of your shirt, grazing your skin and sending a shiver through you. Her lips press a soft kiss just behind your ear, and your breath catches. “The kids love a bit of adventure, some magic…” she murmurs, her voice like silk, while her fingers trace slow, teasing patterns on your waist.
Your heart skips a beat as she nuzzles closer, lips brushing behind your ear again. “We could always read them a horror story,” she says, her tone playful. “Better than scaring them with teenage high school doom. They’ll get enough of that next fall.”
Sana’s hands glide up your sides before she gently turns you around to face her, her eyes soft and warm. She smiles, so sweetly, so full of love that your chest tightens. “I know you’ll find the best books,” she whispers, her voice full of affection. “You’re always so great at that.”
The tenderness in her words makes you lean in, closing the distance between you. Your lips meet hers, and you feel the soft, surprised moan escape from her as your kiss deepens. She melts against you, a giggle bubbling up as she pulls back slightly, eyes gleaming.
“Didn’t expect that, huh?” you murmur, brushing your thumb across her cheek as she beams up at you.
Sana’s grin turns sly as her fingers trace slow circles on your hips. “Nope, but I’m definitely not complaining,” she murmurs, leaning in, her lips inches from yours. “Kiss me again?”
Her hands slide down past your hips, and you can feel the way her chest presses into yours during each breath. “Sana…” you begin, but she just giggles, her lips brushing yours.
“Sunshine…” she whispers, as she tilts her head to give you puppy eyes. Her hands roam higher, her breath warm against your lips. “Please?”
You laugh softly. “You’re impossible.”
“And you love it,” she teases, before you lean in to give her another kiss.
I do love you.
~~~
The bus buzzes with excitement as everyone settles in for the trip. Jeongyeon stands at the front, clipboard in hand, doing a final headcount. “Is everyone here?”
Up by the driver, Jihyo is confirming last-minute details, her phone in one hand as she gestures to the route on her screen. She catches your eye, giving you a quick nod before returning to her conversation.
A few rows back, Sana and Dahyun are busy sorting snacks. “Granola bars or apples?” Dahyun asks, while Sana grins, already handing out gummy bears to the nearby kids.
You unfold the itinerary Jihyo gave you earlier, scanning the plans for the next three days—hiking, a museum visit, and a campfire night. The schedule is packed, but it looks fun. The bus engine rumbles and you glance out the window, watching the school fade away.
“Miss Sunshine, are you excited?” Nayeon’s voice breaks your focus. She pops her head over the seat in front of you, her bunny smile wide and playful.
You grin back at her, her bangs now gone, showing off more of her face. “Yeah, I’m excited! It’s going to be great!”
Nayeon rests her chin on the seatback, her eyes twinkling. “Yay! Just checking if these plans are fun enough,” she teases, nodding toward the itinerary in your lap.
Before you can answer, Mina shyly peeks over the seat beside her, her chubby cheeks almost gone but her smile still soft and sweet. “Are you excited too?” she asks quietly.
You nod, returning her gentle smile. “Yeah, definitely. What about you, sweetheart?”
“A little nervous,” Mina admits with a shy laugh, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “But I think it’ll be fun.”
Nayeon playfully pokes Mina’s nose. “Don’t worry, we’ll make sure you have a blast!”
Just as you’re about to respond, a loud groan comes from the back of the bus. You turn around to see Chaeyoung glaring at Momo, who’s casually chewing something.
“What’s going on back there?” you ask.
“Stupid Momo ate my gummies!” Chaeyoung exclaims, slapping Momo’s arm.
Momo shrugs, still chewing, her eyes fixed on the window. “You can’t even eat them with those ugly braces of yours,” she says, totally unfazed.
You gasp, ready to step in, but Sana’s already on it. She steps forward, arms crossed, her tone firm. “Apologize. Both of you. Now.”
Chaeyoung and Momo mumble half-hearted apologies. Before Jeongyeon can jump in to scold them, Dahyun calls out urgently, “Tzuyu’s getting car sick!”
The bus is quickly descending into chaos, and you sigh, glancing back at the itinerary. It’s only the beginning of the trip, and things are already getting ugh!
~~~
The museum is cool and quiet, the soft echo of footsteps and hushed voices filling the space as you stand in front of a large exhibit on historical archives. The kids gather around you, their curious eyes wide as they listen.
Tzuyu raises her hand and you can’t help but notice how much she’s grown. She’s nearly your height now, standing out from the group of students, and you smile at the memory of her being one of the shortest in the group not too long ago.
“But how do people even know what’s important to keep?” She asks, her wide eyes full of genuine wonder. “Like… how do you choose what goes into an archive?”
You smile, glad to see her so engaged. “That’s a great question, Tzuyu. Archivists look at what’s relevant to people’s lives, cultures, and history. We collect things that tell stories about how people lived, what they valued, what they struggled with. Sometimes, it’s big events or, it’s something small—like letters, or old photos. It’s about piecing together the whole story.”
Tzuyu nods thoughtfully, clearly thinking it over, and beside her, Momo speaks up next. “So, like… even regular people’s stuff gets kept? Not just famous people?”
“Exactly,” you say, nodding. “Everyone’s story matters, not just the famous ones. That’s why personal archives are so important.”
You glance at Sana for a brief moment. She’s leaning against the wall in the back, her eyes never leaving you. There’s a glow in her expression, like she’s seeing you in a new light, utterly in awe of how effortlessly you share your passion with the kids. Her gaze makes you feel warm inside, and you can’t help but stand a little taller.
Before you can continue, Nayeon adds, “Wait, so do you think in a hundred years, people are going to be looking at our old texts and selfies in an archive?”
The group breaks into giggles, but you nod. “It’s possible! Digital archives are a huge part of the future. What we share online, what we document today, might be what future generations use to understand our world. So yeah, even your selfies could be a part of history.”
The kids laugh again as Sana catches your eye again from the back, mouthing the words, “you’re amazing. I love you.” You can feel the pride swelling in her chest. It’s as if she’s soaking up every bit of who you are in this moment, her eyes filled with deep affection. You smile softly at her before turning back to the kids.
"Should we go for lunch, class?"
"Yes!"
~~~
The food court is busy as you settle into your seat with the staff, Sana comfortably by your side. You take a bite of your sandwich, feeling her hand resting gently on your thigh under the table, her thumb tracing soft circles that bring a smile to your lips.
As your gaze drifts to the students’ table, you spot Momo happily sharing her food with Chaeyoung, who clutches her “prehistoric” bone—something she bought at the souvenir shop. "You wouldn’t get it Miss, it’s Tim Burton aesthetic," she explained, eyes sparkling. A little odd, but you can’t help but chuckle at the sight.
Jeongyeon leans in with a playful grin. “They grow up so fast, don’t they?”
You nod, the bittersweet reality sinking in. “Yeah... bummer this is my last year with them.”
Before you can dwell on it, Jihyo chimes in from across the table, a mischievous glint in her eye as she winks at Sana. “Well, not for everyone. Some of us will still be following them.”
The comment catches you off guard, leaving you momentarily confused, but before you can respond, Dahyun cuts in with a flourish. “I’m sending all my energy to the high school nurse. They’re going to need it when this bunch shows up!”
Laughter fills the air, and the lighthearted teasing continues. Sana’s hand remains on your thigh, her fingers shifting to rub gentle circles on your lower back.
She leans a little closer, “I can’t wait for summer break,” she says, glancing at you with a soft smile. “Finally, we’ll have time to rest, recharge, and—” she pauses, her tone dripping with affection, “I’ll finally get to spend time with my girl.”
The second she finishes, a chorus of groans erupts from around the table.
“Oh, here we go again,” Jihyo sighs, rolling her eyes dramatically.
“Seriously?” Jeongyeon adds, shaking her head with an amused smirk. “Can’t we get through one meal without you two being all lovey-dovey?”
Even Dahyun joins in, mock-fanning herself. “So sweet it’s giving me cavities.”
Sana simply scrunches her nose and nudges you lightly, her eyes sparkling with love.
My sunshine that I love so much.
~~~
The campfire crackles as you get ready to set up for story time. Just as you arrange the last few details, the kids come bustling into the cabin, their faces alight with mischief.
Mina steps forward, holding something carefully in her hands. She gives you a shy smile before presenting a handmade card, decorated with bits of books, photos, and “Thank You” written in neat, colorful letters. Your heart swells at the sight of it.
You chuckle, shaking your head, when Nayeon speaks up next. “We’re gonna miss you so much! Our favourite librarian!” she says, leaning in, her bunny smile on full display. “We’ll make sure to ask Miss. Minatozaki for updates on you.”
You pause, confused. “Oh?”
Before Nayeon can answer, Momo chimes in, smirking. “Sana told us she’s coming with us to high school. She’ll be our teacher there!”
The room stills for a moment as you process the words. Sana, in high school? She never mentioned that.
“Yeah!” Tzuyu bounces excitedly. “She said she’ll follow us!”
A weight settles in your chest, but you push it aside for now. Smiling, you pull the kids in for a hug. “Thank you for the beautiful gift,” you say softly, holding them close.
The door opens, and Sana walks in, her eyes lighting up as soon as she sees you with the kids. “My sunshine and my favorite students,” she says warmly, her smile bright. The kids giggle, but you remain quiet, your mind stuck on what they just said.
“High school, huh?” you ask, your tone a little sharper than you intended.
Sana’s smile falters, sensing the shift. She quickly turns to the kids. “Why don’t you go help with the marshmallows outside?”
The kids rush out, arguing playfully about who will get to roast the first one, and you’re left standing with Sana.
Sensing the weight of your silence, she steps closer, reaching out to take your hand gently. You hesitate for a moment, but eventually let her hold it, feeling the familiar comfort in her touch. She gives your hand a soft squeeze, searching your face, and for a brief second, you squeeze back.
“Sana...” you start, trying to find the right words.
Before you can continue, she says quietly, “I wasn’t trying to keep it from you. I thought—”
You take a breath, whispering as you finally respond, “Look, I’m happy for you. It’s a big step in your career, a new chapter. Go for it.”
Sana’s eyes drop to your hand in hers, and though she’s still holding on, you can feel the tension growing. You offer a small smile, trying to reassure her.
“I just... need to go finish setting up for story time,” you say softly, pulling your hand from hers and stepping toward the door.
“y/n, wait!”
~~~
Story time had been a complete success. The kids were captivated (and petrified, thanks to Jeongyeon) by every word, huddled around the campfire as the horror story unfolded. Now, the cabin is quiet, save for the soft sounds of their peaceful breaths. You step inside to check on them one last time. Tzuyu is curled up in Nayeon’s arms, Mina’s head rests on Chaeyoung’s legs, and Momo is sprawled out in her usual starfish position, taking up an unnecessary amount of space on the bed.
You smile tenderly, a yawn creeping up on you as exhaustion from the long day finally settles in. Jeongyeon and Dahyun bid their goodnights, leaving for their own cabins while you stay behind to help Jihyo with the cleanup.
“Thanks for sticking around to help,” Jihyo whispers with a tired smile, stacking the last of the blankets.
“No problem. Just a bit more to go,” you reply, picking up a bucket of water to extinguish the dying fire outside.
As you step out into the cool night air, the stars twinkling above, you feel a gentle tug on your arm. Turning, you find Sana standing there, her eyes filled uncertainty.
“Can we talk?” she asks quietly, her voice barely louder than the soft rustling of the trees.
You set the bucket down, your heart heavy with everything left unsaid between you. Nodding, you let her pull you to the campfire.
Sana leads you to the glow of the campfire, where the night feels even quieter. She stops, turning to face you, her fingers still gently wrapped around your wrist.
She sighs, eyes searching yours. “I didn’t mean to keep you in the dark about... high school,” she says softly. Her voice wavers slightly, but she holds your gaze, her brow furrowed with concern.
You look at her, feeling the weight of her words settle in. “I just wish you would’ve told me,” you admit. “I mean, I’m happy for you, really. It’s a huge step. But... that’s something I needed to hear from you.”
Sana winces slightly at your words, her thumb absentmindedly tracing circles on your wrist. “I didn’t want to upset you. I just... I thought this was something we could figure out together later.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Later? Sana, they all knew before I did.”
Her lips part to respond, but she stops herself, dropping her gaze to the ground. She takes a breath before speaking again. “I didn’t realize how much it would hurt you. I just... I thought you’d be proud, and we’d find a way to make it work.”
Your heart softens at her words, but there’s still a dull ache in your chest. “It’s not that I’m not proud of you. You’re amazing. But we’ve always worked through things together. This feels like... you’re moving on without me.”
Sana’s eyes widen, and she quickly steps closer, her hands now cupping your face. “No, no, I’m not moving on without you. I could never do that. I was going to tell you, I promise, but everything happened so fast with the kids, and I thought... I thought I had time.”
You let out a quiet breath, leaning into her touch as she speaks. The sincerity in her voice is enough to make your frustration melt away just a little.
“I don’t want to lose us,” she whispers, her eyes searching yours again, filled with worry. “I want us to be okay.”
You nod, your hand coming up to rest on hers, squeezing gently. “We will be. We just... need to communicate better. No more surprises like this.”
Sana bites her lip, then nods quickly. “No more surprises.” She pulls you closer, resting her forehead against yours for a long moment.
“I love you,” she murmurs. “And I’ll figure out how to make this work for both of us.”
You close your eyes, taking in the moment, feeling the tension between you ease slightly. “I love you too,” you whisper back.
Sana’s hands slide from your cheeks to your nape. She leans in, her lips pressing against yours in a soft, lingering kiss. When she pulls back, her gaze is filled with nothing but love and sincerity.
"I love you," she whispers, her voice barely audible as she kisses you again. Another kiss follows, each one a little more insistent, like she’s trying to convey everything she feels through the tender brush of her lips.
"I love you," she repeats, her voice growing softer with every kiss. She peppers your face with them—your lips, your cheeks, the corner of your mouth—each one carrying the same words. "I love you... I love you."
You can’t help but smile between her kisses, your heart swelling as her warmth surrounds you. The tension from before dissolves completely, replaced by the reassurance of her love and the depth of her affection.
Sana finally pulls back just a fraction, her nose pressing against your cheek as she breathes out, “I love you,” one last time, her voice barely a whisper.
You close your eyes, soaking in the moment, feeling the world fade around you, leaving just the two of you standing there in the cool night air.
After a few heartbeats, you pull away slightly, your smile mirroring hers. “We’re going to be okay,” you say softly.
Sana nods, her hands still cradling your face as she smiles, eyes glistening. “Together,” she whispers.
~~~
Sana’s hands roam your back as she pulls you closer, her lips warm and insistent against yours. The soft hum of your office fades as you melt into the kiss, her familiar, teasing energy filling the space between you. Sana breaks away for a second, her breath tickling your skin as she whispers, "You know, we could just stay here... a little longer."
Her lips find your neck, and you let out a soft laugh, half-heartedly trying to push her away. "Sana, you’re terrible."
"Terribly in love," she murmurs, her hands slipping beneath the hem of your shirt as her lips brush against your collarbone. You tilt your head back, losing yourself in the moment until—
The phone rings.
With a groan, you reach for the receiver, catching Sana’s pout out of the corner of your eye. You press it to your ear, trying to steady your breath.
"Hello?"
"Y/N, stop kissing Sana in your office and get back to your library," Jihyo’s voice comes through, sharp but teasing.
You freeze, your face heating up. "W-What? I’m not—"
"You are," Jihyo cuts you off, a hint of amusement in her tone. "The entire high school is waiting for you to unlock the doors. Get moving!"
You glance at Sana, who’s biting her lip to keep from laughing. She leans in, mouthing, busted.
You roll your eyes, a grin tugging at your lips. "Right, right. I’ll be there in a minute," you say, before hanging up the phone.
Sana giggles, slipping her arms around your waist again. "Looks like we’ve been caught."
"Yeah, thanks to you," you laugh, giving her a playful shove. "Come on, we’ve got a school waiting."
Sana sighs dramatically, pressing a quick kiss to your lips before stepping back. "Fine, fine. But tonight," she says, winking as she heads for the door, "I’m not letting you escape."
You shake your head with a smile, grabbing your keys and following her out.
Extra
The group sits sprawled across their usual corner in the cafeteria, as if they own the place. Nayeon, perched in the center, knows she’s the it girl and doesn’t even try to hide it. She leans back in her chair, twirling a strand of hair around her finger as she flips through her phone. Her lips curve in a satisfied smile whenever someone from another table glances their way.
"Honestly," Nayeon says, voice dripping with dramatic flair, "I can’t help it if people want to be me."
Chaeyoung, who’s been doodling something vaguely surreal and definitely weird on a napkin, looks up with a snort. "Yeah, well, try being original for once." She holds up her drawing—a mishmash of creatures and odd geometric shapes. "Now this is what people should be looking at."
Nayeon squints at it and tilts her head. "Is that… a lizard playing guitar with a tree trunk?"
Chaeyoung beams proudly. "Close. It’s a frog shredding on an electric cactus."
Momo, sitting beside them, can barely keep her eyes open. Her head is resting in her arms on the table, and she groans sleepily. "Why are we talking so loud… Can’t we just take a nap? Lunch break is for resting, not arguing over frogs."
Tzuyu, towering over everyone, stifles a laugh as she listens to the banter. Even though she’s practically taller than half the faculty, to the others, she’s still the baby of the group. She reaches over to pat Momo’s head, as if soothing a child. "You’re always sleepy. Maybe if you didn’t stay up binge-watching food documentaries, you’d be awake enough to hear Chaeyoung’s masterpiece."
Momo grumbles, not lifting her head. "They’re calming. And educational. Unlike your jokes, Tzuyu."
Tzuyu, with her trademark deadpan expression, shrugs. "I make excellent jokes. You’re just too tired to appreciate them."
Chaeyoung leans back, grinning. "I’ll give you that. Tzuyu’s funnier than people give her credit for."
"But she’s still our baby," Nayeon teases, reaching over to pinch Tzuyu’s cheek. "Our little giant baby."
Tzuyu sighs dramatically, gently swatting Nayeon’s hand away. "I’m literally the tallest one here. And I’m not a baby."
"Aw, don’t worry," Momo mumbles sleepily, barely raising her head. "You’ll always be the group’s baby, no matter how tall you get."
Tzuyu rolls her eyes but doesn’t argue, knowing she’ll never win this battle. Instead, she reaches over to take a sip of her drink, pretending not to care.
Mina, who’s been quietly fiddling with her handheld gaming console throughout the entire conversation, finally chimes in. "I think we should all just get into gaming and forget about all this."
Chaeyoung leans over to peek at Mina’s screen. "What are you playing now? Is it that alien spaceship game again?"
Mina nods enthusiastically. "It’s the latest version. Way more levels, better graphics… It’s amazing."
Nayeon rolls her eyes affectionately. "You’re such a nerd, Mina. If you spent half as much time on your social life as you do on video games…"
Mina looks up, flashing a rare but dazzling smile. "But where’s the fun in that?"
Chaeyoung cackles, clearly on Mina’s side. "You tell her, Mina."
Momo, eyes still half-closed, raises a finger in the air. "I support Mina."
Tzuyu gives an approving nod. "I can get behind that too."
Nayeon sighs in mock defeat, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Fine. I guess gaming is kind of cool. But you all better still bow down to your queen." She flashes her infamous bunny smile, knowing full well they never would—but it doesn’t matter. She’s the Nayeon, after all.
The group dissolves into laughter. Even with their quirks and differences, they’re a family. They’ve watched each other grow, change, and yet somehow, they’re still the same.
In Real Life
Pairing: Azriel x Real world! Reader
Summary: Reader's life in the real world is wearing down on her. So when she accidentally ends up in the world of ACOTAR and in Azriel's arms, she starts to wonder if she even needs to get home at all.
Based on this request! 🩷
Warnings: swearing, alcohol, light smut (I did NOT know where this one was going when I started 😂 😭)
Word count: 4.5k
The stress of the last few days eased significantly as you walked into the library that you knew better than the back of your hand, the one you had practically grown up in.
Your lips curled up into a small smile as you lightly traced your hands along the familiar spines of the books, taking in the atmosphere.
As a kid, your mom had often told you stories about how this library was magical. That it could take you to new places, places that wouldn't normally be within our reach in the real world.
Of course, now you knew that she was referring to the magic of books, how you could be whisked away somewhere entirely different without leaving your chair. Still though, you often thought about the stories she told when you came back here, about how reading near the old well out back could transport you into the book you were reading.
You had tried it countless times as a kid, and unsurprisingly, it had never worked.
Today, though, you were feeling just nostalgic enough and just stressed enough that you thought it couldn't hurt to give it a try, for old time's sake. Surely wherever you could end up would be better than here.
After skimming the shelves for a bit, you picked up the second installment of a fantasy series that you had started a few weeks prior. You couldn't deny that you were intrigued.
You checked out the book and took it out to the garden that very few people ever frequented, in your experience. It was completely empty today, so you enjoyed the peace and quiet as you settled in on the bench near the well, your back pressed up against its side.
The birds were chirping, the tree branches rustling lightly as you dove into the story, and pretty much immediately, you were hooked, thrilled by the characters and the setting.
“I would not mind taking a trip to Velaris,” you murmured, eyeing the well conspiratorially.
For a moment, nothing happened. But then the wind picked up suddenly, sending the pages of your book flying, the pages turning faster and faster, and you just watched, memorized.
It was a sensation you had never felt before. You truly couldn't avert your gaze to anything else.
Then the wind died as suddenly as it had started, and your trance was broken.
When you looked up, your breath was completely caught in your throat. You weren't in the library's garden anymore, that much was clear.
You staggered back against a wall as people bustled around you. Beyond them, you could see a river, and just beyond that were jagged mountains.
Surely, it couldn't be…
You tried your best to focus on the people in front of you, and when you did, you noticed the pointed ears, the elegance that everyone who passed you possessed.
Somewhat self consciously, you reached up to your own ears, only to find that they were now pointed as well. Were you technically one of the fae now?
It was completely impossible, and yet… It was the only explanation.
The well had taken you to Velaris.
You wandered the streets somewhat aimlessly, trying to take it all in, and yet hardly believing your eyes.
Before long, your eyes locked on a man with large black wings, the siphons strapped to his body glowing blue, shadows dancing around him.
Your heart thundered in your chest. Azriel.
It hadn't occurred to you until then that not only had you been taken to this place, but the characters were here, too.
It felt completely impossible to tear your eyes from him. He moved with an assurance you could never hope to achieve. It was breathtaking, really.
The breath was completely stolen from your throat when those gorgeous hazel eyes locked with yours.
He cocked his head to the side slightly, like he was trying to place you.
Azriel seemed to change his course, heading for you, his brow slightly furrowed in concentration.
He towered over you, his eyes assessing your face. You tried not to squirm as he asked, “Do I… know you?”
How were you supposed to answer that? Did he somehow recognize that you were the reader, that you knew him?
This was getting way more complicated than you had ever intended.
Finally, you just said, “I don't think so?”
His eyes narrowed, his shadows curling up towards his ear, most likely communicating with him. Informing him that you weren't completely telling the truth.
“Try again,” he said after a moment, his eyes not wavering from yours.
You sighed anxiously. “Okay, the truth is I don't know if you know me. But I do know you.”
He stared at you for another moment, his eyebrow raised as he scrutinized you. “You're not from here, are you?”
“No,” you said quietly.
As his eyes continued to pierce yours, you understood why he was the spymaster, why he was the one sent to get information out of people. He was foreboding as hell.
“You seem so familiar to me,” he murmured so quietly that you honestly weren't sure if he was even talking to you.
“I'm not sure if I can explain that,” you winced.
He looked at you quizzically, then seemed to come to some kind of decision.
“If I ask you to come with me, will you do it willingly?” He asked.
“The alternative being?”
The side of his mouth turned up into the slightest smile and your knees went slightly weak. “I sling you over my shoulder and force you to come with me.”
You honestly debated longer than you should have. Maybe you should have him carry you out of here, just for fun. Azriel was an intriguing and gorgeous character, after all.
But you also were a little afraid of pissing him off, especially since you had no idea how long you would be here or how to get home.
Decisions, decisions.
Fuck it. When else would you have the opportunity to flirt with a hot Illyrian?
Your lips curled up into a smile and you blinked up at him, fluttering your lashes a little. “I think I'll take option two.”
He just looked at you for a moment, but then he laughed quietly, his eyes lighting up and you felt so proud that it was you that made him look like that.
Shaking his head as if in disbelief, he carefully wrapped his arm around your waist… and then you were inside a house.
Damn it. You forgot about winnowing.
You arched your brow at him and he smirked at you. “Sorry to disappoint.”
Fighting the urge to roll your eyes at the shadowsinger, you took in your surroundings and came to the conclusion that you must be in Rhysand’s town house.
You couldn't help but take a step back as Rhysand, Cassian, and Feyre walked into the room, looking at you curiously.
Shit, they're intimidating in real life.
As their eyes seemed to scrutinize every inch of you, you took another step backward, running right into Azriel’s taut body.
He steadied you with a hand on your waist, but you didn't exactly feel comforted. This wasn't really what you had in mind. What had you gotten yourself into?
“Why did you bring her here?” Rhysand asked Azriel, his brow furrowing as he studied you.
“She seems… familiar,” Cassian said, his eyes lighting up slightly with recognition. “Have we threatened you before?”
You let out a shaky laugh. “No, not exactly.”
“That's why I brought her,” Azriel said, looking down at you. “There's something off about her, like she shouldn't be here.”
“Look,” you sighed, trying not to shrink back under the weight of so many powerful people. “I don't mean any harm. I'm here by accident.”
They looked between each other, like they were trying to decide if they believed you.
“Explain, then,” Rhysand said, in what must have been his high lord voice. “How did you get here?”
Your mind whirred, trying to find the words. “You wouldn't believe me if I told you…” but he would if he saw it.
You sighed. You weren't sure what the repercussions could be for you in the real world, but you were here for now, and this might be the only way for them to actually believe you.
“You can look,” you said quietly to Rhysand. “I can't explain it, but you can look.”
He raised an eyebrow, surprised, but he took a step towards you, his eyes locked on yours.
“Just look,” you clarified.
He smirked at you. “Smart girl.”
Then you felt the black talons at the edge of your mind, searching inside your head, and you showed him the library, the book, the well, and you showing up on the streets of Velaris.
Rhysand took a step back the moment he exited your mind, his eyes wide in surprise, his body tense.
He just stared at you as everyone watched him curiously, waiting for him to explain.
“I told you,” you said quietly.
Feyre’s eyes widened slightly. Clearly she received the message from Rhys.
“She's not from here,” Rhysand told Cassian and Azriel, his eyes narrowing slightly as he continued to stare at you like he was trying to make sense of it all. “I … think we should sit down.”
Despite everything, you couldn't help but laugh. You had stunned the high lord into silence.
The five of you sat around a large table, everyone's eyes fixed to your face now. You tried not to shrink back from it.
“A… book,” Azriel said slowly, his eyebrow raised in question.
You nodded slowly. “In my world, you're all fictional characters. And Velaris, Prythian, magic … all of it is fictional.”
Cassian let out a snort. “You expect us to believe that magic doesn't exist in your world, and yet you showed up here?”
You opened your mouth to retort back, but quickly clamped it shut. He had a point.
“And everyone is human?” Feyre asked somewhat skeptically.
You nodded.
“Sounds dull,” Rhysand mused.
“It can be,” you laughed. “That's why we read books about… you,” you gestured at them.
For what seemed like hours, you talked through it, what had happened at the well, details about your world that they wanted to know. They mused and debated for ages about how you could possibly get back home, but not coming up with any real answers.
It was getting late by then, and when you had yawned several times in a row, they seemed to take pity on you, and Azriel was given the duty to lead you to your room.
He leaned against the wall outside your room, looking down at you with an unreadable expression. “Are you okay?” He asked.
“I think so,” you said cautiously. You hadn't really let yourself think about it yet, how you would get home, how long it would take. “Who knows, maybe I'll wake up at home,” you shrugged, feigning nonchalance.
Azriel's mouth quirked up into the ghost of a smile. “That would be a shame,” he murmured.
Heat rushed instantly to your cheeks and his smile widened slightly as he cleared his throat. “If you need anything, I'm next door, okay?”
You nodded, not trusting your voice to speak.
His eyes held yours for another moment before he backed away, disappearing into his own room.
You did not, in fact, wake up at home, and you honestly couldn't decide if that was a good thing or not.
After raiding the armoire, you got dressed in a black tunic that was way more comfortable than the clothes you were used to, and wandered downstairs, where everyone was eating breakfast at the same table where Rhysand told everyone your story last night.
They looked up at you expectantly.
“Still here, huh?” Cassian asked, nodding to the seat in between him and Azriel.
“I guess so,” you said, gratefully sitting down at the table and piling food onto your plate.
You felt Azriel's eyes on you and you were suddenly glad that you were still here.
After a minute, they started conversing as if you weren't there at all, and it was surreal to find yourself a fly on the wall during a conversation from people you knew so well, yet were seeing in a completely new way.
Azriel's eyes met yours as breakfast came to a close. “So, in the stories that you were told, about the magic in the library, no one ever mentioned how to get back home?”
“No,” you said. “That part didn't seem important when the stories were just fairy tales.”
“Fairy tales,” he repeated, raising a brow.
You laughed. “Right. I'm literally in a fairy tale.”
He just looked at you for a moment, amused. “I can help you,” he said quietly. “If you want.”
“Help me?” You asked.
“Get home,” he clarified. “Or at least, I can help you look for answers.”
“You would do that?” You felt a swell of emotion in your chest that was nearly impossible to stomp down.
He nodded. “I have an idea.”
Your curiosity definitely peaked as you followed Azriel into a massive underground library, where the priestesses took their refuge.
“If we have the answers, they'll be here,” Azriel said softly over his shoulder.
You hung back slightly as he spoke quietly with the priestess at the front desk. It warmed your heart to see his demeanor change in the library: his voice was remarkably soft, his body language made him look almost gentle, rather than the merciless shadowsinger.
The priestesses brought you a few books and the two of you got settled in comfy chairs, reading in comfortable silence.
A few hours later though, you weren’t any closer to finding answers, and you found yourself more and more frustrated.
You sighed, resting your head on the back of your chair, shifting your gaze over to Azriel, who looked very focused on what he was reading. He was distracted enough that you allowed yourself the time to study him a little longer than you would have otherwise. Your gaze caught on his biceps, on the veins on his forearms, his hands holding the book in his lap.
He looked up at you when your breath caught, amusement dancing in his eyes.
“Let’s take a break,” you sighed, blinking away the hearts in your eyes. “We’re not getting anywhere, and I want to see more of Velaris before I figure out how to get home anyway.”
“You want company?” he asked.
You couldn’t help but smile. “Of course I do.”
The streets weren’t as busy as they had been the previous day, and Azriel had more room for his wings, you noticed.
He turned to you as you watched him. “The wings can be tricky when it’s crowded,” he explained.
“Have you ever hit anybody accidentally?”
Red dusted his cheeks slightly and he looked away. “No comment.”
You threw your head back laughing, picturing the scene, and when you finally looked back at him, he was smiling at you in a way that made your heart race.
Azriel took you all over the city, but the artists’ quarter was what really took your breath away. You stopped at the edge of the Rainbow, taking in the scene before you, letting the beauty wash over you.
It was somewhat overwhelming as you walked through the quarter, Azriel’s shadow never far behind. Your attention was consistently being pulled from one side of the street to the other, and you heard Azriel laugh quietly behind you as you gasped and beelined to an artist weaving a gorgeous tapestry.
It was nearly two hours by the time the two of you made it out of the Rainbow, and your heart felt lighter than it had in months.
“That was amazing,” you beamed, and Azriel steered you away from a group of fae walking in the opposite direction with a hand on your waist. You hadn’t even noticed them in your excitement. “That was what I needed. That’s why I made the wish to the well in the first place.”
Azriel looked at you quizzically. “Things aren’t going well at home?”
You sighed. “It’s not that exactly. It’s just… exhausting. And life doesn’t look the way that I always thought that it would.”
He nodded, his shoulder bumping into yours momentarily as he worked to avoid running into some clearly inebriated fae. “I know the feeling.”
That shouldn’t have surprised you, you supposed, based on what you knew about him, but still. He seemed so in control all the time, it was difficult to believe that he had ever felt unsteady.
“Can we stop and get a drink?” you asked suddenly.
Azriel blinked in surprise, but agreed, leading you to a bar closeby.
You looked quizzically at the drink menu, unfamiliar with any of the offerings. “I don't know what any of this is,” you whispered to Azriel.
He laughed and ordered for you when the bartender came around.
As you looked around the bar, you subconsciously leaned into Azriel a bit, noticing that there were plenty of male fae eyes on you.
Azriel's hand found its way to your hip, pulling you in even closer to him. “It's okay, they won't bother you as long as I'm here,” he murmured against your ear.
His breath on your neck made you shiver, and you placed your hand over his arm where it rested on the bar. “Thank you,” you said quietly.
Your eyes met for a moment and you could have sworn that you saw some heat there, but then he blinked and it was gone as the bartender put your drinks in front of you.
Azriel watched you intently as you took a tentative sip of the mysterious cocktail, which immediately had you coughing and sputtering rather embarrassingly.
He laughed as he watched you, sliding the hand that rested on your waist up to your back. “Are you alright?”
You nodded, trying to control your breathing. “Did you purposely get me the worst thing on the menu?”
Azriel raised his eyebrows in amusement. “That's the most tame drink we have in Velaris.”
“It is not,” you countered. “I'm not exactly a lightweight, but this…” you scowled. “It tastes like lighter fluid.”
“I don't know what that is, but I promise that's the one that should be least likely to make you hurt in the morning.”
You sighed, and eventually worked up the nerve to take another sip. It was still awful, but since you were prepared for it, it went down a little easier.
“Nicely done,” Azriel said, and you could've sworn there was a hint of real pride in his voice.
The two of you talked nonsense as you got towards the bottom of your glass, his thumb tracing small circles on your back.
There must have been something serious in that drink, because by the time you had finished it, you were feeling pleasantly buzzed.
You smiled at Azriel and he grinned back at you, tightening his grip just slightly. “Feeling good?” He asked.
You nodded, letting out a mortifying giggle and laying your head on his shoulder.
He surprised you when he laid his head gently on top of yours. You had half expected him to pull away from you.
This was crazy. You were drinking and flirting with Azriel in Velaris. Why did you want to go home again?
Azriel shifted slightly next to you, and pressed a light kiss to the top of your head before cuddling into you again. It was so gentle, so unexpected, you suddenly wanted to cry.
“Why do you think I seemed familiar to you?” You asked quietly, trying to calm your racing heart.
“I don't know,” he said. “Maybe I could sense you when you were reading the book?”
“Hmmm. Maybe,” you said, unable to resist running your hand lightly over his arm.
“Or maybe you were meant to end up here,” he said even quieter, like he was unsure if he should be saying it at all.
You detangled yourself from his arms to look up at him. “You think so?”
He smiled a little sadly. “Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part.”
It felt like a jolt of electricity rocked your body. “Azriel,” you murmured.
He gazed at you for another moment before he slowly leaned forward, kissing your lips with such gentleness that you could hardly believe it.
You could hardly believe any of this.
After a moment, you leaned into the kiss, opening your mouth to him and he instantly took advantage, slipping his tongue against yours with a quiet groan, his hands weaving into your hair.
“Az,” you moaned quietly, “we should go home.”
He grunted, fishing money out of his pocket and slamming it on the table without breaking the kiss.
He stood up then, his eyes locked on yours and your hand cradled in his, and within the blink of an eye, you were standing in his bedroom at the town house.
You blinked, looking up at him in surprise. “God, I wish we could do that at home.”
Azriel chuckled, cupping your face in his hands and kissing you again.
You ran your hand down his chest, heat spiking through you as you felt each toned muscle tighten and flex at your touch.
The two of you stayed like that for a while, tangled up in each other, until you started tugging at his shirt, desperately trying to raise it above his head.
He stopped your hands with his, breaking the kiss to look at you, his expression suddenly serious, his eyes softening. “Are you sure you want to go further? You were drinking --”
“Azriel,” you said firmly, and he blinked in surprise. “You are my biggest fictional crush, the man of my wildest fantasies, except now you're not fictional, and we're in your bedroom and …” you trailed off, your breath escaping you as he smirked at you, his eyes shining with a bit of wonder and no small amount of smugness. “Just -- please take your shirt off.”
He laughed and the deep rumble of it went straight between your legs. He stepped back, out of your reach, his eyes not wavering from yours as he tugged his shirt up and over his head.
Silently, he looked at you expectantly, still just out of arm's reach.
You were pretty sure you were actually drooling. His muscles… you had never seen a man look like that in real life before. His enormous wings stretched out behind him, and you never thought you would be the type of person who was into that kind of thing, but with him standing there like that -- it just made him look all the more formidable, untouchable.
But for right now, somehow, he was all yours.
You gulped audibly and his smirk only grew. “And… your pants.”
Without breaking eye contact, he let his pants drop to the ground, and you felt the air completely leave your lungs.
Holy shit.
His eyes softened, “We don't have to--”
“Stop saying that,” you breathed, rushing forward to kiss him.
“This feels a little unfair,” he mumbled against your mouth, sliding his hand down your fully clothed side.
“Then fix it,” you replied, occupied with running your hands down his back, kissing anywhere on his chest that you could reach.
He wasted no time, stripping you bare in a matter of moments.
Slowly, like he was trying to memorize you, he traced the lines and curves of your body with his scarred hands, his eyes tracking their path.
You had never felt like this before, so wanted, so important, and it made your heart ache.
He kissed lightly up your neck while his hands continued their exploration of you, murmuring with a low gravelly tone as he reached your ear, “the man of your wildest fantasies?”
You flushed, suddenly embarrassed. “Is that what I said?”
“Mhmm,” he hummed, his lips still against your ear, his thumb lightly circling your nipple.
“Well,” you tried to form a coherent response, but it was impossible when he was touching you like that. You leaned your head back, giving him access to lick across your collarbone, your back arching.
“What happens in these fantasies of yours?” He asked, sliding his hands down to grip your ass, then effortlessly lifting you up into his arms, bringing the two of you face to face as you wrapped your legs around his waist.
“Mmm… about like this,” you said breathlessly, leaning in to kiss him.
“Yeah? What else?” he murmured between kisses.
You groaned, burying your face in his neck.
He chuckled, squeezing your ass teasingly. “Oh, c’mon, don't get shy on me now.”
Your cheeks heated, even though he couldn't see it.
“Something like… this?” He asked, lining himself up so his tip was teasing your entrance.
You gasped, raising your head to gawk at him.
“What?” He laughed.
“You're not gonna fit,” you blurted dumbly, immediately clamping your mouth shut in regret.
He leaned forward, resting his forehead against yours, his eyes dancing with amusement. “Trust me, I'll fit. I'll go slow. Unless you want to stop--”
Azriel pulled his hips back, leaving you aching. “No,” you cried.
Slowly, he brought his hips back to yours, gently teasing your clit with his length, a contrast to the sweet kiss he placed on your forehead.
He backed you up against the wall, his eyes locked on yours as he slowly, slowly, pushed himself into you inch by inch, giving you time to adjust with sweet kisses until he was fully inside you.
He was heaven.
And you couldn't get enough.
Hours later, exhausted and content, you laid in Azriel's bed, your head on his chest, sleepily tracing the lines of his tattoos.
“Tell me about your world,” he said quietly, pressing a kiss into your hair.
You hummed, trying to think of something that might interest him. Finally you settled on trying to describe transportation. Cars and planes fascinated him, and you felt bad that you weren't equipped to answer all his questions about how those things actually worked.
You told him about your house, your job, your life. He asked endless questions, and it warmed your heart that he cared at all.
Eventually, Azriel either ran out of questions or noticed how tired you were, and he stroked your hair gently until you fell into blissful sleep.
In the morning, you woke before Azriel did, and you watched him sleep, his eyelids fluttering slightly now and then as he dreamed.
God, he was a dream.
You had no idea how to get home. In this moment, you weren't even sure you wanted to.
For now, you had Azriel and his friends looking out for you in the beautiful city of Velaris.
And for now, that was enough.
My Guardian Demon
Requested By: @angelcakeworld
Oneshot
Summary: MC's kindess is taken advantage of by everyone else and Beel seeks to protect them. Beelzebub x Reader Word Count: 1,582
Beel clenched his fist as he angrily munched on the food from his plate, watching the scene in front of him unfold.
You were all seated at the dining room table and his brothers were pestering you non-stop about the things you had to do with them.
Beel’s heated gaze softened as his eyes met yours, his heart involuntarily warming just from the eye contact.
He didn’t mind when you wanted to spend time with his brothers. But, you looked tired.
You were constantly running around doing things either for them or with them.
Beel was pretty sure he never heard you say no to his brothers. You were so kind that you simply went along with what they asked.
But his brothers took advantage of that kindness and Beel was tired of it.
Lucifer was constantly putting you in charge of watching over his brothers when he was out to help alleviate some of his own stress.
It didn’t matter if you had plans that day, if Lucifer needed you to watch over a particular brother, you would have to be attached to them the entire day.
And when Mammon wasn’t trying to use you as his own personal piggy bank, he was constantly getting you involved in his schemes that would end up getting you both in trouble.
Levi wasn’t too bad when it came to taking advantage of you. All he really wanted to do was play games with you. But when you wanted to stop or do something else, that’s when Levi would find a way to guilt trip you into staying.
While Satan wasn’t as needy as some of his other brothers, he was equally as guilty of stealing your time. Once he managed to convince you to read with him in the library, you wouldn’t be able to leave until it was bedtime.
Asmo was one of the worst when it came to you. He would drag you all over the place. From Majolish to The Fall. You always came back feeling really worn out after a day spent with Asmo.
Even Belphie was at fault, often taking advantage of you sitting down. You would try and relax for the first time after running around with the other brothers, and Belphie would immediately use you as a pillow and wouldn’t move until he was satisfied.
Needless to say, the demon brothers all had their own ways of taking you for granted and running you around until you couldn’t go anymore.
And it wasn’t just them either.
When you were at RAD, Beel would notice a task list given to you by either Lord Diavolo or Barbatos.
Luke would want to steal you away to try all of the new desserts he had baked.
Simeon was always looking for you to read and critique his newest works.
And Solomon seemed to always have something new he needed to teach you in magic.
And while it irritated Beel to see you being taken advantage of so carelessly, those were his friends and family.
He would make snide comments here and there and do his best to try and try to help you avoid them so that you could have some time to yourself.
Sometimes he would even ask if you would spend time with him, only to have you relax and take care of yourself when the two of you were alone.
He didn’t need to be constantly doing stuff with you like his brothers. He was happy just to be in your presence.
Beel tried to push the thoughts of what happened at breakfast out of his head so that he could focus on school.
Beel was pulled back to reality when Lucifer announced that it was time to leave for RAD.
He finished eating what was left on his plate and you all walked to school together.
And he had done the best he could to get through the first couple of classes without being too distracted.
But at lunch, everything fell apart.
Beel was mindlessly eating his food when he noticed a group of demons approach you.
He got a sinking feeling as he watched them walk up to you, but he remained in his seat.
You were all in the middle of RAD so surely the demons wouldn’t be stupid enough to try and attack you in front of everybody.
Beel didn’t want to overstep your boundaries. Maybe those demons were friends of yours? The last thing he wanted was to make you mad by being too overprotective.
So, he continued to eat his lunch, watching and listening to the conversation you were having with them.
Beel nearly choked on his food when he realized they were asking you for your homework to copy your answers.
One of them even dared to take the snack you had specifically brought with you to school that day.
Beel may have been compliant when it came to the others, but this was where he drew the line.
He refused to allow random low-level demons to take advantage of you.
Beel was a respectable and lovable demon in the Devildom. But he was a demon nonetheless. And, seeing his human being taken advantage of caused him to snap and see red.
Before you even knew what was happening, Beel was at the center of a fight with Lucifer trying to pull him away from the other demons.
When the situation finally managed to get under control, you offered to take Beel to the infirmary.
You walked quietly alongside him down the hallway and when you reached an empty room, you motioned for Beel to enter first and then closed the door behind yourself.
You knew that the school doctor would be treating the victims of Beel’s rampage first, so you took it upon yourself to treat the cut he acquired on his cheek.
You grabbed the items needed from the medicine cabinet and then stood in front of Beel who was seated on the bed.
Your proximity was enough to bring a small blush to your cheeks and make your heart race, but you did your best to focus on the task at hand.
You and Beel locked eyes for a moment and then he looked down, slightly ashamed of himself for causing a fight in the middle of the cafeteria.
“Did you know them or something?” you asked Beel, beginning to gently clean the cut on his cheek.
Beel let out a small sigh and a guilty look flashed across his features before replying, “Not really.”
“Then, why did you start a fight with them?” you asked, your eyebrows furrowing together as you kept your attention on the wound.
Beel hesitated for a moment, a blush coating his own cheeks as he replied, “I saw the way they were taking advantage of you.”
Your heart skipped a beat as you finally brought your eyes to meet his again. You were struggling to find the right words to say in response.
“It’s not just them, either. I hate that everyone takes advantage of you,” Beel added, looking into your eyes as he gently curled his fingers around your wrist that was tending to his small laceration.
Your breath hitched as he looked deeply into your eyes, his physical contact creating an intimate moment between the two of you.
The look in his eyes conveyed how deep his emotions ran for you even though he didn’t state the three words that ran through his mind every time he looked at you.
Beel would do anything to protect you. Whether it be from a physical threat, an emotional one, or any other kind.
He would never let anyone mistreat you or let anything bad happen to you.
Your other hand reached up to gently cup his cheek and he leaned into your touch.
The intensity of his gaze made you weak in the knees as you felt butterflies running rampant in your stomach.
The contact between your hands and bodies was alluring, drawing you in closer and closer until your face was inches away from his.
You could feel his breath on you and his eyes dilated as he took a breath to prepare himself.
He moved the hand that wasn’t holding your wrist behind your head and gently tangled his fingers in your hair before pulling you closer and connecting your lips to his.
You immediately responded to it, letting yourself melt into the kiss.
Beel savored every moment of it - from the way your lips tasted to the way that your body was pressed against his. It was all ethereal.
He was left breathless when you finally pulled away and you gave him a small smile.
“Thank you for being my guardian demon,” you teased and the joke brought a wonderful smile to his lips as he looked down for a brief moment to regain his composure.
He let you finish tending to the wound on his cheek, the sensation of your fingers brushing against his skin creating a feeling of electricity.
It was at that moment that Beel decided he would no longer sit on the sidelines no matter who the offender was.
Beel would jump to your defense whenever he saw the slightest hint of someone taking advantage of you.
And with the others being afraid of crossing the line that Beel had drawn, that left more time for the two of you to spend together.
Which meant you had more time to recreate that perfect moment that the two of you shared in the infirmary…over and over again.
