Ghost Ship Commotion Fanfiction

I know Halloween was a while back, but I just wanted to show you all this. Throughout the school year, I was watching a 1998 classic movie called Deep Rising. It got me wondering, "what if I did a movie like that, but more family friendly and with my favorite TV shows in a crossover?" So that's when Ghost Ship Commotion was born.

It stars the characters of Bugs Bunny Builders, Pupstruction, Go, Dog, Go, The Creature Cases, Adventures of the Great Wolf Pack, and Nature Cat going for a Halloween party at sea. Off the coast of Looneyburg, the MS Pacific Symphony, a Holland America Line Vista-Class cruise ship, was sailing back to New York after stopping on their private island, Get-Away Cove. After entering an intense storm, miscalculated as a moderate one, the ship's engines failed and caused severe listing. The captain, Elias McKinley, mistook the party boat for an actual attacking pirate ship. He ordered all of the passengers to get to their assembly stations where they would be barricaded in a dining room at the stern and a theater in the front.

When the toons cross paths with the Symphony, the CLADE Agents go on a case to find out what happened to the passengers while Bobby Boots tries to steal the vessel and turn it into his own mega yacht.

The Great Wolf Pack: A Call To Adventure Trailer By Great Wolf Pack on YouTube

I just got done watching a little movie by the name of The Great Wolf Pack: A Call To Adventure.  It's probably pretty obviously what drew me in, just from looking at the trailer.  The cute cartoon animals.  Hee hee.

So, a group of kids find each other and go on a grand adventure which leads them to some problem-solving, and they learn a lot about each other and about life, along the way. 

Anyway, it's a movie that's in the style of old, Saturday morning cartoons like Silverwing or Toad Patrol.  The pacing is a little rushed – probably because they had a lot to pack into 48 minutes – but the movie definitely gives me the warm fuzzies.  All of the characters are really good and each has a unique personality and traits, the art is lovely, some of the writing is really clever, and I just generally enjoyed watching this.  I'd love to see it turned into an actual weekly series, but alas… I'm not sure it's ever going to be popular enough for the parent company, Great Wolf Lodge, to fund that sort of thing.

Regardless, I definitely recommend giving it a watch.  I'm very glad that I finally did!

It's really weird to think that there was very brief period time when if you were animatronic enthusiast in the 1970s - 1990s, you didn't have to drive out of state for hours just to see a show, you could just go to a shopping plaza or amusement park. Now, in the US if you want to see a real RAE show, you have either BBWL or Volo. Back then, there were CECs and SPPs in nearly every state, some even right next to each other. Imagine doing a bar crawl but with places with animatronics? We were robbed I tell ya!!! /hj

The baffling thing about the Hale Pack is that, with the exception of Stiles, you can just... fully pretend they are still around, as a pack, by s5, without even affecting the McCall Pack.

Erica is dead. Boyd is dead. Jackson left. Even Isaac, who had switched packs, then left anyway and isn't a permanent part of the McCall Pack so you might as well steal him. Cora left. Peter left. Derek left.

By season 5, none of them are around anymore and that's just wild but that also makes it so much easier to just pretend the Hale Pack still exists.

What I mean is, it would be messier if you had to pick apart the canon pack, if these characters had just been absorbed into Scott's pack and now had dynamics with the McCall Pack and involvements in the s4 and s5 plotlines that you would have to entangle and explain with how they'd be change if they were in the Hale Pack instead. But they haven't. Even the ones that did temporarily join the McCall Pack ended up leaving.

So I can just... sit in my sandbox and play with my Hale Pack while the canon pack does whatever the plot is. It is kind of neat.

Don't get me wrong. Would FULLY prefer if they hadn't written out Nearly Every Single Character I Love (including non Hale Pack member Kira my beloved. Started to feel really targeted with their choices, so glad even the writers knew they could not write Stiles off though lol), but in the realms of a quick and easy Fix It for the Hale Pack still being around, this is kind of neat.

Logan is a guy that's so cat coded and dog coded and wolf coded at the same time. Love that for him. Let him hang out with wolves and hunt and eat animals with them and get covered in blood. It's enrichment for him.

yeah so my brother was over tonight and after we'd had a heart-to-heart and a gossip i stuck TEEN WOLF on—which he is aware of and knows it's one of my shows, but has never actually watched himself—just for a bit of background bc it was there in my 'continue watching' as i'm never really not watching it lol.

ANYWAYS we continued chattering through it for a while (the majority of eps 1&2) but then he started sporadically paying it more and more attention, till he was eventually commenting and asking me questions etc.

here are some of the veritable golden nuggets he dropped:

“well, that coach fella's my new bestie.”

“the hammy lad with the face (jackson) is giving me such biff from back to the future vibes.”

“why is clark kent (he knows hoech from superman & lois) being an autistic male model with serious pmt?”

(still taking about hoec) “oh, bloody hell, he's actually really good looking, isn't he?!”

"the sfx in this are so fuckin bad they actually double back to being terrific.”

“so, are we, like, supposed to not give a shit about the main guy then, or what?”

(more scott talk) “although i do actually kind of want to hug him—but i feel that's somehow unrelated to his character.”

“pretending to do back flips off a roof is cool af i don't care what anybody says.”

(about k*te argent) “hoho, she's gonna turn out to be a massive cunt, isn't she?”

“this is fucking brilliant, they (the wolf transformations) look like were!fonzies!”

“jesus, we're like, 3 eps in and there's already what looks to be the beginnings of quite intricate character arcs? this show should honestly not be this intriguing, wtf.”

(commentary on the acting chops) “oh, wow, so the one that's playing scott is pretending to be scott... while the one playing stiles just IS stiles!”

(scene at the start of magic bullet where stiles is talking to scott about derek):

stiles: okay, sorry, no more talk about alphas or derek; especially derek—who still scares me.

my brother: yeah, that's because he quite clearly makes your willy hard, mate.

also my brother: OH, SHIT! THAT'S STEREK, RIGHT?! well, it's no fucking wonder that that's a thing.

AND HE HAS NOT EVEN MET PETER YET

so yeah my hope is now obviously that he'll go home and get obsessed and spank the entire 6 seasons in 4 days and become one of our most prolific fanfic writers.

Wolfman is his father and him and his wife had Rolfe young. Rolfe's mother loved her son, while Wolfman hated his own son.

Rolfe was a Mama's boy

Rolfe's parents divorced when he was 6, and Rolfe's mother died when he was 7.

Wolfman honestly saw Rolfe as an embarrassment, and never liked his son's interests (puppets and such)

When Rolfe was little, he sort of idolized his father, but started to resent him in his teens.

I love the idea that Wolfman was Earl's inspiration, so I had this idea that Earl's personality is sort of a manifestation of Rolfe's daddy issues.

Rolfe doesn't wear black tuxedos because he thinks he looks way too much like his father when he wears them.

Okay, okay, so everyone is saying that Rambert's Narinder would be a big white dog, right?

I know breeds and whatnot don't matter, but, might I suggest him being a Great Pyrenees?

If we're going with opposite/mirror universe, I can just imagine him being very bubbly and excitable. "Oh, hi! I'm sorry you died, here's my crown, maybe it can help you?" Giving gifts and whatnot the whole time. Probably comes across as a bit of a himbo. The whole "having to kill the goat" thing just destroys him, he apologizes the whole time. (More instead of "Damn Lamb, you're betraying me and denying me my freedom" it's more "I'm so sorry, I really don't want to do this, I just need out-")
