Is it possible for Poll to even HAVE a human form or is it established when they are little? If they were to gain a new parent, could they still mimic them?

So starting on TQ's eye color. I have eluded to it several times but if you've never noticed, Tequilla's eyes used to be a golden color. I reference this in this drawing, this textpost, and this doodle. They changed when he met Poll, which is why their eye colors match now.

Because his Human form is the biggest link he has to his past, his eyes aren't fully changed. There's also other details missing, such as the marks under his chin.

AND NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO ELABORATE ON HOW HE RESEMBLES HIS PARENTS. He has his Momma (Goat hybird) and Dad's (human) hair with a bit of his momma's curls + ears and horn. His golden eyes were also from his momma. The rings on his body are from his Pipi (Blue Ring Octopus mer thing) with a bit of the poisonous looks coming from her and his Mom (Deadly Nightshade Dryad). The dipped arms and feet also come from his mom, but I might change my mind on that someday.

and yes it IS possible for Poll to gain a humanoid form! Eggs can gain new features at any time (although yes, big shifts like that would take a long time to manifest). I mean like TQ got a new eye color and marking just from meeting Poll (although his lack of memories increase his rate of transformation..).

I was actually planning to draw Poll with a human form back during the summer camp arc with Macron, but I never got around to it, unfortunately. It would have just been a one off gag.

So yes, if Poll gained a human-ish parent or became close with one it is a possibility!

(Oh also, TQ's human form is very likely to change. The one you just saw is it at it's extremes!)

Do you think you have a type of character you gravitate towards? Tragic wives/moms, little sisters, pink. Love how Ethlyn combines all three of these.

What do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I love familial relationships whether they are biological or found. I also really love cross game relationships whetehr they are platonic or romantic. It's fun having the relationship develop from ground zero rather than with an extra boost from them knowing each other in canon. Plus it's just neat to get to explore. I also like a little (a lot) of drama and angst. Messy relationships are very fun.

Favorite TOA-related memory: It's gotta be all the friendships we've found along the way. The writing and stuff is great and wonderful but the community and sense of belonging is something I will always remember and cherish.

"Toshi," he was obviously tickled with himself, a little giggle echoing down the hall as he was making his way to the other. A cake in hand, there was also a bag hanging off his forearm. It stayed there until he finally had the free hand to present it properly. "Happy Birthday!" A traditional Japanese birthday cake and,inside the bag, cute little crafted hats for Pipi to wear. "They're made to stick to her quills so you don't have to make her uncomfortable. Isn't it cute?"

"Hm?" Upon hearing a familiar voice call out to him, he stops in mid-step and turns around, a smiling towards Sullivan to greet him as he approached. He did immediately spot the cake and the bag in the other's arms, and felt his heart flutter in his chest with some anticipation for the next string of words that his partner would say. It'd been a while since he had actually looked forward to his birthday. A really long while - and knowing he had someone to celebrate it with this year brought him a certain kind of happiness.

"Thank you..." The smile on his lips grows wider as he accepts the cake, then peeking inside the bag, a small sparkle in his golden eyes. He could already imagine how cute Pipi would be. How he needed to immediately take at least 10 photos of her in them. Actually, Sullivan would look cute in a party hat as well. He'd like to take pictures of him dressed up also.

"When I get home I'll put them on her immediately... did you want to join me? There's no way I can eat all this cake by myself either." A pause. "I think I would like to spend the rest of the day with you, if possible."
