QU1. Name: What does your twst OC's name mean? Why does Rook/Floyd call them [insert nickname]? - Guinevere's full name roughly means 'white phantom', from my readings, and Papaver refers to the scientific name for the poppy! Poppies are symbolic of remembrance, which links to her memory-related UM, and her first name is to allude to how her original home as well as her attire is constantly white. - Floyd's nickname for Gwinnie is 'driftfish'. The driftfish are often elusive and they tend to wander the ocean for long durations, with it being in reference to her tendency to lose sense of herself and wander about the school, especially in her early days where she's still not learned the layout of NRC. She actually finds it a bit embarrassing, but given Floyd is Floyd and the tweels are scary, she doesn't say much about it. - Rook's nickname for her is 'Mademoiselle Memoire', which he started using once he figured out what her Unique Magic was.

QU2. Inspiration: Is your twst OC inspired by any villains? Concepts? Anything Disney-related? - Gwinnie is twisted from Namine, from Kingdom Hearts!

Does the horoscope lie or do they get along well? - She's 17 years old at the start of the game, and she was born on December 7th, making her a Sagittarius. Her birthday's closest to Rook's (December 2nd), and...I mean, they're both probably seen as odd in their own ways, but in how they carry themselves they're very different. 😭I think given her backstory Gwinnie's a bit spooked by him because of how easily he finds stuff out about people, afrhbgtb.

Do they have a roommate and how is their relationship? - Gwinnie is in Diasomnia, and on the whole I would say she matches with their talent for general magic?? The people in Diasomnia also strike me as often being very powerful magic users or having the potential to be, and I'd say Gwinnie's the latter.

QU5. Class: Who is your twst OC's classmate(s)? How would you describe their relationship? Did they have different classmates in previous year and did they get along? - Class 2-A is the one she's in, with her being in Seat 23, meaning she has Kalim and Silver as classmates! Silver is...important for her later, arhgbtb, because love interest reasons, but they actually met because Gwinnie was originally being picked on and misled by a bunch of Savanaclaw students, who basically saw her as fresh meat, so Silver was assigned with looking out for her while she adjusted, just simple stuff like making sure she's not getting bothered outside of class and that she gets to and from it okay. Given being at NRC is her first major point of contact with people her age, and he's a handsome sweet boyo who's literally a knight in all but name...she ends up with the dokis fast, afhrbgt. - I think she'd also like Kalim! He could probably relate to her sentiment of being sheltered and overprotected to the point where both struggle to manage by themselves and live self-sufficiently, especially because it frustrates Gwinnie and deep down it frustrates him too when he can't. Plus, he's just a sunny bean. :) - I also realised she's classmates with Rahma, and yeah, Rahma's mom friend energy would work wonders for Gwinnie, she'd be like that meme of the 'if anyone ever hurt him, I'd k/ll everyone in this room and then myself', afbrhbg- QU8. Homeland: Where is your twst OC from? Do they know anyone from the same hometown prior to NRC? - Gwinnie and her bio family + her adoptive guardians live in Briar Valley, by technicality. The Elfenbein Islets are a small set of islands to the west side of briar valley. Once a prosperous coastal environment, it was savaged by humans hundreds of years ago and has never fully recovered, with few choosing to reside there, only going there for rare materials - few as there are left. A strange-looking fortress exists on its more hidden parts, with this fortress having been Gwinnie's home for most of her life after the disappearance/capture of her twin sister when they were young.

QU9. Club: Which club does your twst OC join and why? Is there anything memorable about the club fair day/their first day at the club? Which clubmate is their favorite? - She's dabbled in trials for a few clubs, but she ends up settling on band/light music as her option - partially because her friend kalim is part of it and also because she's a talented singer - Lynn is her seiyuu and she's the one who sings 'Lost In Thoughts All Alone' in FE: Fates and it sounds fantastic- uwu

Do they ask anyone for help with the subject they are bad at? - Art is Gwinnie's favourite subject and her best one, she's been an artist since she was a child and she never leaves her dorm without her sketchbook. Ironically, it's a class she shares with Rook, whom she's a bit wary of, RIP. - Her worst subject is Ancient Curses, due to it being a speciality of the Thirteen, a group that are the reason why she had to live in hiding for the majority of her life.

Who among the cast will they possibly ask to join in their pastime? - Art, as mentioned, is Gwinnie's most frequent pastime, as she does it pretty much every chance she can. She used to draw parts of the ivory fortress that took her interest, given there were a lot of elegant looking parts to draw, and she nowadays can often be found drawing various parts that take her interest at school. She doodles and draws a lot, and will be super excited if you take interest in her artwork. Has DEFINITELY sketched Silver a few times. - Playing cards. Meant to reference KH: CoM, which relies on a card-based system for its combat. To keep her occupied, especially when she was little, her guardians would often play card games with her, with the head of them, Merlot (twisted from Marluxia) even giving her one of the winning cards from their games as a good luck charm. She still enjoys playing cards, and has gotten pretty good at it, she's also very protective of her lucky card. - Gardening! Another one from Merlot, who tends to a garden of roses and other flowers back at the Ivory Fortress. She's not super talented at it, but she's decent enough to look after a garden when others aren't around. She also has a small one in her dorm room! I now wonder if she'd help out with the garden in Heartslabyul as well sometimes. - Reading, especially when she was still living in the fortress. It's influenced by Charta, another of her guardians, who's always been very bookish. - Collecting maps is one she's started doing at Night Raven College, as it gives her a view of the world.

How will your twst OC deal with that person? - Gwinnie is aware she's not the most self-sufficient but she's trying, damn it. Being talked down to is a big thing that'll upset her, and it means she and Sebek's dynamic is a bit rocky. Due to her odd habits, like her wearing white even in her dorm attire and her lack of familiarity with the school and social customs, he tends to think she's purposefully disrespectful or feigning ignorance. She tends to try to bottle that stuff up because she's not used to dealing with it, but she'd probably snap back eventually.

QU13. Food: What is your twst OC's favorite and least favorite food? Why (optional)? Is there anyone they can share their favorite food? Is there anyone they can count on to take over the food they dislike? - Her favourite food is ice cream/popsicles, and her least favourite is red meat. Ice cream was a treat her guardians would bring in for her on special occasions, specifically one that "tastes like sea salt". She and Malleus could very well be ice cream buddies if Sebek let her. /hj - She just...doesn't like the texture of red meat. One of her guardians, the physically toughest, does quite like it, but she's never had a taste for it. Leona can keep the damn meat.

Talent: What is your twst OC's talent(s) and who can properly appreciate that? - As said, Gwinnie's primary talent is art, and ironically enough Rook certainly could as it's also his best subject. I also imagine Kalim and Silver would like her work, even if they aren't artists themselves! There's probably more as well, afhrbgt.

QU15. Unique Magic/Signature spell: What is your twst OC's UM (if applicable)? What can they do? What is the incantation? Is there any weaknesses/loopholes and who can exploit those? - Gwinnie's magic is known as Chain of Memories, and it's...interesting. It manifested very early in her life, and it allows the user to glimpse someone's memories of the people around them up to seven minutes ago - so for example, if she forgot her homework and is fumbling for an excuse, she could alter a teacher's memory so they'd forget it for the day. With time and practice she could build up an ability to see and alter memories far further into the past, but due to how invasive it is and the fact it's what the Thirteen sought after her for, she's not exactly keen on building on its abilities at the moment.

Why does Rook/Floyd call them [insert nickname]? - Rahma's full name, specifically the initial of her first name being an R and the last letter of her surname being a 'l' was to emulate the sound of Razoul's name! - To be specific tho, Rahma's name is meant to mean 'mercy/compassion' in Arabic, and Salil can mean either 'drawn, unsheathed' or 'son, descendant'! Given Rahma has a sword kick, the unsheathed thing was a massive bonus on top of having the 'll' sound at the end.

QU2. Inspiration: Is your twst OC inspired by any villains? Concepts? Anything Disney-related? - Rahma is twisted from the guards from Aladdin! Namely Razoul, but also them as a whole, and some Hakim from the live-action version.

Does the horoscope lie or do they get along well? - She's 17 years old, and her birthday's on April 23rd, making her a Taurus, and her birthday's closest to Ruggie's...which is actually pretty funny given Ruggie's a thief and their inspiration!

QU4. Dorm: Which dorm is your twst OC in? Why? Which qualities they have make them suitable for said dorm? Do they have a roommate and how is their relationship? - Scarabia is Rahma's dorm of residence, and she's definitely got a resourcefulness in her - after all, she would have had to in order to avoid literally dying at the hands of various assassins. Under Kalim's leadership, the dorm's also a lot more chill than the others and unless you threaten her liege and friends, Rahma's a pretty sweet lady.

QU5. Class: Who is your twst OC's classmate(s)? How would you describe their relationship? Did they have different classmates in previous year and did they get along? - I didn't actually realise Rahma shared a class with Gwinnie, but she does indeed! She's also classmates with Kalim, likely partially out of practicality so his bodyguard's nearby (and so Jamil has a moment of peace) and with Silver. In general, I think Rahma's quite approachable so I feel they would have gotten on with their classmates in first year as well. QU8. Homeland: Where is your twst OC from? Do they know anyone from the same hometown prior to NRC? - Rahma comes from Scalding Sands, and as said, she's familiar with both Kalim and Jamil.

QU9. Club: Which club does your twst OC join and why? Is there anything memorable about the club fair day/their first day at the club? Which clubmate is their favorite? - Track and Field. There was no swords/fencing club, so Track and Field was the next best thing! I think she has a soft spot for Deuce. The big sister vibes are coming for you, Spade. You can't stop them.

Do they ask anyone for help with the subject they are bad at? - Shock to nobody, Rahma's favourite subject is P.E, and it's another one where the classmates that are best at it are also friends of hers (Deuce and Silver)! - Her worst one is Potionology. It is possible after CH5 that she might ask Vil's help, but she's more focused on her physical capability and magical ability rather than that sort of thing.

QU11. Hobby: What are your twst OC's hobbies? Who among the cast will they possibly ask to join in their pastime? - I won't over detail again as I ran down these in the other post with Rahma, but it's fitness, dancing, bird-keeping and flower-arranging!

QU12. Pet peeves: What are your twst OC's pet peeves and which one in the cast accidentally (or not) commit the "crimes"? How will your twst OC deal with that person? - Theft, or 'borrowing' things without giving them back. Ruggie's on the shitlist because of it. /lh

QU13. Food: What is your twst OC's favorite and least favorite food? Why (optional)? Is there anyone they can share their favorite food? Is there anyone they can count on to take over the food they dislike? - Dates, much to Jamil's chagrin, are Rahma's favourite food and pistachios are her least favourite. She has a bit of a sweet tooth, so she loves the taste of them once they've ripened. - Rahma can't explain why she dislikes pistachios, she just...doesn't, they just don't taste right to her.

QU14. Talent: What is your twst OC's talent(s) and who can properly appreciate that? - Combat, specifically swordfighting, is Rahma's most notable talent. She's been taught for most of her life to eventually take her family's place as a bodyguard for one of the Al-Asims, Kalim in her case, so she's always fighting to improve herself in that area. Silver and Sebek feel like the sorts who would properly appreciate her skill, since they both have a similar drive to grow and protect Malleus. Lilia might also acknowledge her talent, since he was a literal general, but with the addendum where he'd probably hope she wouldn't need to use it.

QU15. Unique Magic/Signature spell: What is your twst OC's UM (if applicable)? What can they do? What is the incantation? Is there any weaknesses/loopholes and who can exploit those? - Rahma's UM is called Lay Down the Law, and it's fairly straightforward. The incantation is "Riffraff! Stop there - before I have to Lay Down the Law!". - Basically, if Rahma thinks someone has done something wrong, she can summon a sword. The more severe the wrongdoing, the more she can summon to her person for a maximum of 6, which can either be put at her side or float behind her ominously, with her usually dual-wielding 2 and having the rest float behind her. This is all down to her perception of wrongdoing though, and it doesn't account for if her mind is altered - so if she was hypnotised/brainwashed and she was told her friends had done something awful, she'd summon them all the same, for example, and it's naturally also affected by her own personal bias.

PERSONALITY

Talent: Swordmanship

A gentleman by nature, charming and extremely lively – although in a more passive way.

Caliburn carries a lot of energy with him, being quite restless and a born explorer. Sociable and popular, Caliburn seems to be open-minded and doesn't care much about “status” or rules, in addition to often acting as a “mediator” and standing by others.

Despite aiming for the good of the people around him, Caliburn is quick to define his limits and is very strict with them, as well as not letting go of the idea of using light manipulation or blackmail to get what he wants.

However, in general, he prefers to be more virtuous, firmly maintaining his ideals and not being afraid to defend them, appearing to be a very courageous individual.

It's also worth mentioning, even though it's a considerably rarer event, when triggered Caliburn can become extremely impulsive and even violent without wanting it, hence why he always tries to remain calm and in control of his own feelings.

In short, Caliburn is a warm person, who genuinely seeks to keep himself and the people around him positive. However, instead of being completely selfless, Caliburn also cares about his own happiness and limits, and can show irritable and impulsive tendencies if disrespected (normally these impulses are controlled).

FACTS

Caliburn is twisted from Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty

Most of his harmful impulses come from his curse, which connects him to the sword. Currently, the curse is under control because of treatments.

One of the Knights who protect Malleus in NRC, although he never shared a past with him. He was appointed to this role on the recommendation of his father, accepting this responsibility in search of a challenge.

Funnily enough, let's just say that his relationship with Malleus is somewhat turbulent.

Due to his curse, Caliburn needs to stay close to the sword. Thus being allowed to carry it around campus.

Caliburn is amnesiac, he remembers almost nothing about his life before the age of 14 and that includes his biological family. Even so, he doesn't seem to actively try to seek answers, preferring to move on.

Caliburn loves horses.

Caliburn is a very energetic person, constantly finding himself trying to expend energy in some way. In addition to his natural dislike of small or cramped spaces, Caliburn frequently leaves the campus without permission. (He's crowley biggest opp/j)

Dancing is one of his biggest joys!

He shares a room with Silver.

APPEARANCE

Caliburn cares about maintaining a good appearance, even being a bit vain.

His hair is mostly light brown, with some blonde highlights in certain parts, tied with a small red ribbon. His eyes are the same colour of an aurora.

His diasomnia uniform is a little different from the others, using the much larger coat as a cape, held to his clothes by silver thread. Around his neck he wears a purple ribbon and a golden necklace with a sword pendant. The shoulders of his shirt are puffed.

His hat is longer than usual, with a feather on one side. The lower part of his outfit is like the others, except for the presence of purple fabrics at his waist that resemble a tailcoat.
