We really have to hand it to kids' drawings. They're like little emotional time bombs, chaotic, pure, and ready to explode with meaning at any second. My son’s masterpiece? It’s got all the feels: hope, resilience, and a superhero vibe that makes you believe a pencil can save the world.

Then there’s my friend’s version, same idea but polished, powerful, and radiating strength and determination. One full of innocence and love, the other showing how far we’ve come in the fight for survival. Together, they remind me that even in the darkest times, there is light.

Maybe these drawings aren’t enough to stop you in your tracks. Maybe they’re not “good enough” to inspire donations or make you share this post. But behind each one, there’s a story of survival, resilience, and unshakable hope. This campaign isn’t just about me. It’s about 26 people, 26 lives hanging by a thread. That includes two orphaned children and a family member who’s suffering from hemiplegia after being hit by shrapnel during a bombing. Because of this, majority of the funds raised have been used to stave off starvation as famine sweeps through beseiged Gaza. There is a glimmer of hope on the horizon: there is a possibility of the Rafah crossing reopening, meaning people can evacuate once more. It is Mahmoud's greatest wish to evacuate his family, especially his parents as soon possible, and because of this, we've increased the goal amount in hopes of collecting enough money to evacuate the Balousha family. Previously it cost nearly $10,000 to evacuate one person. The new evacuation cost is to be seen. Please donate if you can to help this family escape from this war.

Emergency assistance to purchase a tent and basic life necessities at this time

A story to believe in

In a flimsy tent, under an overcast sky, my mother was trying to protect my four sisters from the cold weather. The strong winds shook the dilapidated canvas tent, and water leaked from inside its threadbare curtains, soaking its fragile mattress. This wasn't the first time my mother and siblings had spent the winter in this tent, but it was the first time it had felt so desperate.

My mother and our family were among the couple displaced due to the ongoing conflict. They find themselves trapped in a makeshift camp, lacking in everything: food, medicine and shelter. With their separation, their ill suffering was caused in the winter. The tents are unable to weather the storms and the island's airport, and many of them are exposed to bankruptcy.

One day, it rained heavily without a strong wind. The small tent could not withstand this sea storm, and it quickly sank. My mother and my brothers narrowly escaped from the collapsed tent and took shelter under the tree. They were shivering and hungry, and had nowhere to return to

I desperately need help to pay my rent in time for Christmas!!!

Monday, December 9th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I am struggling to pay my bills & rent in time for Christmas!!

I apologize for asking for help again; but as most of you know from my previous post, I have been struggling quite a lot while on welfare benefits, and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to make ends meet. As a result, it is becoming increasingly likely that I won't be able to cover my bills by the end of the month, so in the next 30 days, I owe a total of £230.77!!!

These balances are due just before Christmas, and if I can't clear them, I won't be able to pay my rent this month or get through the festive period in general as I don't receive my welfare until New Year's Eve and have no money to cover them myself, I don't even have funds to get groceries for the festive period and have to somehow survive the next 3 weeks!!!

Some nights, I sit with my phone in my hands, wondering if this fight is too big for me. Friday, November 29th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I am struggling to pay my bills in time for Christmas!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, I desperately need that kindness again because, due to avoiding creditor calls and red notices, my debt has been steadily piling up. It is now to such an amount that I can't possibly pay it off on my own, which has left me in desperate need of help.

In the next 30 days, I owe a grand total of £570.85 (Zilch credit £256.07 + credit card £314.78). These balances are due just before Christmas, and if I can't clear them, I won't be able to pay my rent in time for Christmas or get groceries to last me until my next welfare payment in January!!

My name is Lubna Alajrami, and I am a devoted mother from Gaza. At 30 years old, I cherish my three beautiful children: Eline, aged 7, Kinda, 3, and my precious son, Nasser, who is 4 years old.

In the midst of this miserable situation, my heart aches for my son Nasser, who is 4 years old. My child, Nasser, was born without a thyroid gland, and doctors discovered this late, which negatively affected his mental and physical development. Before the war he was receiving treatment in private rehabilitation centers, and now he is in poor condition without care or even the minimum requirements of life, such as food, clean water, milk and pampers.💔💔💔

We have lost everything beautiful in this life. We have lost our beautiful home, our shop, our family members, and our source of livelihood. We are now in a very bad situation, without a source of income, unable to provide the minimum basic necessities of life for our children in light of the war situation and the high prices.😔

My dear friend Amal Ashour (@amalashuor) just informed me that two days ago, her sister Nour and Nour's husband were robbed, and their phones were stolen. Nour already has a GFM campaign dedicated to helping her disabled son Muhammed continue to get treatment, but I am making this separate fundraiser to help them raise money quickly to get new phones, as without phones they are cut off from the internet and from getting further help.

I am planning on sending the money raised to Amal so she can help her sister and brother-in-law get new phones as soon as possible.
