There's something so absolutely fucked about the idea of agreeing to do a ceasefire at the end of the week and then just continuing to not cease the fire until the agreed-upon time.

Gaza remains unsafe, and while efforts to rebuild can start with the ceasefire deal, families who need to get out of there should get to do so.

This is our life in which we live under constant attacks and under difficult circumstances. We’ve cried blood not just tears waiting for this ceasefire in Gaza and hopefully tomorrow it begins. So yes, tomorrow families like mine will walk out into a wasteland. Homes crushed to dust, streets erased, memories scattered like ash. We’ve buried people we love, people who deserved to live and now we stand in the ruins wondering how to go on when there’s nothing left. I’m writing this not because I know what to say but because I have no choice. A few dollars, a reblog "anything" to remind us we haven’t been completely abandoned. When the dust settles we’ll still be here broken, grieving and left with nothing but the faint hope that someone, somewhere, still sees us.

I'm drowning in debt and urgently need help!!!

Friday, January 17th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help as I'm struggling to pay off my debt and get groceries!!

I apologize for asking for help again; as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, I desperately need that kindness again; as some bills came out early and fees were added to my account, this balance has been bouncing between my PP and my bank, accruing fees that I am struggling to pay. I don't receive my welfare until the 31st and could really use some help!!

I am writing these words after losing hope in everyone… except for you, my friends. Tumblr has a very large number of users, estimated in the millions . That’s an enormous number! But imagine, with all those of people, how would you feel if people saw you and ignored you? You’d feel deeply disappointed, right? Or maybe you’d even wish for death.

Have you ever wished for death? For me, I feel like I’d rather die than be ignored by everyone. If I wasn’t in desperate need of help, I wouldn’t ask anyone for it. I really need help.

I never imagined I would find myself in a situation that would require me to write these words, but life has taken an unexpected and devastating turn. I am Inas, a mother of two young children: Muhammad, 7 years old, and Hala, 5 years old. They should have been living their childhood like all children—safe and warm in the embrace of their father. But the war has stolen that dream from us😭😭😭

Six months ago, my husband Anas, a kind-hearted man who endured a life of poverty, was killed by a random shell while on his way to work as a taxi driver. Since that tragic day, I’ve been left to carry the unbearable weight of life alone.

I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. after exhausting all my options. I am a computer engineer who was on the verge of graduating from university after tremendous effort. My life and the lives of my family have been completely destroyed as if they never existed.

There was no time to gather our belongings or think of anything beyond survival.

Every day is a battle, not just for warmth but for food as well. We often go to bed hungry, unsure of where our next meal will come from. The simple act of providing for ourselves has become an overwhelming challenge. My mother is sick and suffers from multiple chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and nerves, and she needs continuous treatment. Due to the harsh conditions we live in, we lack the necessary capabilities to provide the necessary medications and treatments for her, and we live in constant fear for her health and life.

We really have to hand it to kids' drawings. They're like little emotional time bombs, chaotic, pure, and ready to explode with meaning at any second. My son’s masterpiece? It’s got all the feels: hope, resilience, and a superhero vibe that makes you believe a pencil can save the world.

Then there’s my friend’s version, same idea but polished, powerful, and radiating strength and determination. One full of innocence and love, the other showing how far we’ve come in the fight for survival. Together, they remind me that even in the darkest times, there is light.
