I am a BIG swiftie (favorite albums are 1989 TV and TTPD), and I listen to a lot of 5SOS, Olivia Rodrigo, Gracie Abrams, Conan Gray, and The Scarlet Opera. Also the occasional Chappell Roan.

I love reading!! My favorite books are Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid (my fav author) and She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly Quindlen.

I've played ukulele for a few years, and I recently started learning guitar. there's a greater than zero chance I might post any music things in the future. ig we'll see.

Never Have We Ever (NHWE)

Summary: Liz has the best friends a girl could ask for. Harley, Mikey, and Natasha have been her people since elementary school, and Trevor and Amanda since middle school. Their whole lives, things have been pretty much the same. Same kids in their classes every year. Same streets between the same houses. Same, same, same. At the end of her freshman year of high school, just about when Liz is wondering how much same she could possibly handle, she catches Trevor’s eye as he laughs at someone’s joke, and something deep inside her lights up. Something she doesn’t know what to do with. Something she can't push back down once it comes barreling up to the surface. So much for same. After that, things can’t stop changing. And not just in her own life—her friend group starts pulling apart at the seams. Harley begins withdrawing from everyone with no explanation. Mikey gets in bigger trouble with his dad than ever. Natasha only has a year before she has to move off to college. Amanda is stuck between the person she is and the person the world wants her to be. Trevor seems to have gotten off easy, but Liz can’t be around him for more than a minute without falling head over heels all over again. In this collection of short stories, Liz has to wonder if the change of pace she thought she wanted is worth it. Sometimes it’s hard to be brave, and she’s never been the most open to change, but unfortunately, that does not stop it from happening. The only question is: what is she going to do about it?

NHWE is my oldest WIP, started on December 16, 2019. It’s been on ice lately, since the plot has gone through so many changes that I haven’t known what to do with it in a while, but one of my goals with posting about it is to warm myself back up to it. The Together List (TTL)

Summary: Audrey is in her first month of college. Within three weeks, she’s moved out of her childhood bedroom and into a room with a window that seems to open on its own and a door that creaks loud enough to wake up the whole floor, she’s stumbled into a friend group that seemed to pull itself together like drawstrings, and she’s gotten a job at an adorable independent milkshake shop with her roommate and one of her new friends. What more could she possibly ask for? The world, it seems. Audrey has a list ten miles long of all the little things she wants college to be. One night, she starts listing them out loud. Her friends—Logan, Lennon, McKinley, Aspen, and Levi—chime in with their own after a moment, and before anyone knows it it’s been three hours and they haven’t stopped. They aren’t even sure whose idea it is, but they start writing it down. Every box on this ridiculously decorated list will be checked off by the end of the year, they swear. Someone makes an Instagram account as a joke, but by the first post it’s become as serious an endeavor as they’ve ever had. They wouldn’t call themselves local celebrities, but they certainly wouldn’t correct you if you did. The thing about fame at this age, even at small amounts, is that it's bound to go to someone's head...

TTL was created on August 18, 2021. I saw a post on Pinterest of someone's summer bucket list and that sounded like such a fun thing to do with friends that I had to write about it. Two and a half-ish years later, TTL has also gone through many changes, so I'm sort of trying to refresh it now. I'm very excited to see where it takes me!

(Fun fact: the main character, Audrey, is the older sister of Trevor from NHWE!)

The Violet Sisters Club (TVSC)

Summary: The Violet Sisters Club, a world famous all-female pop rock band, is facing a very public lawsuit from a former hotheaded manager over their most recent album. Following the conclusion of their case, lead singer Naomi Tyler, drummer Inez Wilde, guitarist Chrissy Cameron, and bassist Francesca Sheridan escape to the luxurious Overlook Estate, a privately owned rental property on an island off the southern coast of California. Here, they can spend the summer out of the public eye, writing songs they don’t need to worry about releasing and letting the public wonder what they’re up to as they let the tension out of their muscles. With a property four times the size of Alcatraz Island and a beach over a mile long, the Overlook offers the band a respite from the go, go, go of touring, the privacy invasion of paparazzi, and the exhaustion of being micromanaged every minute of every day. Four pools, seven hot tubs, the aforementioned private beach, a high tech recording studio (just in case), a few golf carts just to get around the property and a Jeep to get to town. It’s unimaginably expensive, it’s incomprehensibly big, and it’s everything they need. But this escape may not be the relaxing California beach paradise they imagined. Soon, it becomes hard to hide how much the stress of fame was eating away at each of them—emotions run high, patiences run thin, days run long, nights run longer, and the strength of the band is questioned as the girls’ insecurities and anxieties bubble to the surface after a lifetime in the spotlight.

TVSC was created on February 5, 2023, but the characters have been around almost as long as TTL. Initially, I created the Violet Sisters Club as a fictional band that would exist within The Together List, but at some point I couldn't get the idea of a TVSC-focused novel out of my head. I'm glad I never did, because some of my favorite ideas I've ever had have gone into TVSC. If I could have one wish, it would be for all of TVSC's songs to be real so I could listen to them without having to write them first.

Now That We Don’t Talk (NTWDT)

Summary: There are two important things to know about Hazel Henry and Saiah Bradford.  One: They kinda-sorta hate each other after they broke up last year at prom. (The same prom that ended with the school almost burning down and Hazel's twin brother's best friend going to the hospital. Bad memories all around.) Two: Someone on the planning committee for their senior class trip must be out to get them, because when they arrive at the hotel, they find out they’ve been assigned to the same room. This should have been impossible; Saiah requested to be paired with her best friend, Tory, who's going to have some explaining to do later, and Hazel would bet her life on the fact that she requested a room alone. Now, for the next two weeks, they’re both stuck in the same narrow room with its little square bathroom and practically-nonexistent privacy. The air conditioner turns on at random times, they seem to be paired together for every single scheduled activity, and perhaps worst of all—their friends all seem to find this situation absolutely hilarious.  But it’s just two weeks, right? It’ll be over before they know it, and soon they can both go back to pretending their relationship—and each other—never existed. Right? Right? Happy senior year to them.

NTWDT was created on October 18, 2023. Hilariously, I came up with the plot after making Hazel and Saiah in the Sims, and I literally couldn't stop thinking about them whenever I wasn't playing. As I do with every character I create, I became obsessed with them, and now here we are. And in case you're wondering, yes, I named it after the Taylor Swift song lol.

Trouble In Paradise (TIP)

Summary: Sixteen years ago, Joe Alexander and Ben King drove across the US in the pursuit of Joe's true love. Today, Joe is preparing to move out of his and his ex-wife's house and drive across the country once more, joined by his daughter, Bryce, and his best friend/his daughter's biological father, Ben. It's all familiar—the long stretches of empty fields, collapsing onto a cheap hotel bed for the night, never being able to decide where to stop for food—and yet, Joe has no idea what he's in for.  This is a story of two cross-country road trips, and the lives that one woman is able to ruin in between. Joe Alexander and Ben King have both lost their entire worlds to Lilly Alexander. But the ones they’ve gained after her might be—in some weird, unconventional way—a little better.

TIP is technically my newest WIP, since I came up with the full plot earlier this year (February 13, 2024). I've had the vague idea of it for just over a year, but I didn't quite know what to do with it until recently. It's definitely more mature with its topics than my other wips, as you might be able to tell by the themes, but I really like the concept and I've had a lot of fun plotting it so far, even if it's a little out of my comfort zone.

(Fun fact: the original title way back when the characters didn't even have last names was High Infidelity, after the Taylor Swift song, since I thought it was so thematically appropriate.)

Well, I did this last year for my teams so it's time to do it again with my new team! So this year in celebration, I decided to reveal the romantic and sexual orientation of Valor Guard! I hope you enjoy them, and I apologize if I unintentionally offend someone.

Demiromantic Bisexual 

After the death of his wife, Seiji is reluctant to open his heart to anyone, because he feels like doing so would be a betrayal to his wife who he loved fiercely despite their differences. If he were to fall in love again Seiji would prefer to form an emotional connection with the person beforehand and only then will Seiji open his scarred heart to the person. 

On the matters of sex, before he got together and married his wife Seiji had experimented with his sexuality sleeping with multiple males and females, especially during his delinquent days. He finds both genders sexually attractive but he tends to lean more towards women but would not say no to sleeping with a male. Nowadays though he’s much too busy with his job and raising his daughter than trying to figure out where his next lay will come from.

Demiromantic Omnisexual 

Lyall is pretty guarded romantically in no part due to his former status as a model and actor with many people only wanting to date him just so they could say they they managed to get the Lyall Shiba’s attention. That being said Lyall has only had romantic feelings for a handful of people in his life before. The first was a strange homeless teen by the name of “Momoka” which ended up with Lyall being nearly murdered. The second person Lyall has ever had feelings for is Kaoru Shinozaki of Edogawa what started as a one-night stand has spiraled into romantic attraction for the genius hacker. Recently though Lyall has started to gain feelings for his old friend and fellow homicide detective Joey Kurusu of Kanazawa something that surprises him but if given the chance he would go for it.

On the matters of sex, Lyall does not care what gender a person identifies as having slept around with all sorts of people during his time as a model and actor. If Lyall found them attractive and they consented Lyall was willing to sleep with them and give them the best night of their lives. Nowadays though since becoming a homicide detective Lyall is more focused on solving cases than sleeping around but he’d be lying if he didn't say he wanted to see Kaoru naked in his bed again.

Demiromantic Demisexual

After how his first marriage to his ex-wife ended Ayumu is weary of dating again. That along with the fact several people have only dated him for his family's money has left Ayumu reluctant about letting down the walls around his heart to anyone. Though it seems like Shisuta Heisha of Ueno wormed her way inside despite that and Ayumu has genuinely developed romantic feelings for the nun. Now if only he could confess those feelings. 

On the matters of sex, Ayumu feels the same way about sex as he does about love. He’s not looking to sleep around with just anyone and would like to know a person beforehand for a while and then decide if he can trust them before taking them to bed, which is unlikely.

In celebration, I decided to redo the romantic and sexual orientation of CodeX! I had to do quite bit of soul searching and research but I finally feel like this is the most accurate results I could come up with. Enjoy!

Aromantic Asexual (Sex-Repulsed)

Again, not much to say, things have not changed for Ritsuko regarding romantic and sexual orientation, she still doesn’t have an interest in romantic relationships (even finds them time consuming and boring) and has not changed her mind about sex aside from finding it completely useless outside of reproduction purposes, she is completely fine with her orientation and will confirm to be so.

However, during her younger years, she was a bit more open with herself and was willing to try it out just to see how it feels and to actually say that she does indeed have the experience. She had only slept with one person though, an odd fellow with pink hair and the most vibrant red eyes, she didn’t knew his name at the time but there was something about him that made the thought of sleeping with him not completely revolting. The one night would go on to change her life significantly and was the catalyst of what would become her three most treasured projects.

Biromantic Demisexual

There has not been a significant change to Miho’s orientation aside from the fact that she leans even more towards men when thinking about a potential partner whether that be for a relationship or sex, however, that’s not to say that she doesn’t appreciate women and what they can provide in a relationship, but if she had to choose, she’d go with a man.

However, in her teenage years, Miho used to experiment with her sexuality, mainly as a form of rebellion against her parents. She even had a secret girlfriend for a while before her parents found out and forced her to break it off. Nowadays, Miho doesn’t think about sex all that much, she’s much too busy growing her ever rising business empire and ensuring her family’s legacy, she’d need to know the person for a long time and knows for absolute sure that she can trust them with her intimate side.

Panromantic Asexual (Sex-Positive)

In the past, despite having a clue on what she felt comfortable with, Sumire still had her doubts but now she’s completely sure that a person’s gender doesn’t matter to her in terms of pursuing a relationship as long as a genuine connection can be formed and she absolutely knows that she loves them and that they love her for her. That’s the main thing, if someone can look past “The Anarchist” and see and love “Sumire Shinomiya” then you’ve completely got her hooked.

Sumire did not think much of sex before and even know it’s still not a huge priority to her but recently she’s gotten more comfortable and receptive to the idea, she’s gained a more positive view on sex and is more than open to try it if her partner was interested. Though she’s still getting used to touch and intimacy so she’d like it if they would talk it through first and go at her pace.

Of course, the only person she’d want to do all the aforementioned stuff with is Jiro Yamada of Ikebukuro. Sumire is completely in love and devoted to him and strives to be a better girlfriend with each day so the thought of being with anyone else just does not compute with her, if not outright disgusts her completely.

I’m afraid non eastern Asians don’t understand the size of the box he speaks of. It’s not the size of a box of Cuties™️ commonly found at a Costco in the US, but what he speaks of is rather a South Korean box of tangerines weighing at least 10 lbs. if not more. It’s HUGE. My tiny family bought at least three of them throughout every winter, because we would just eat them all up, making our fingers stain orange/yellow by continuously peeling them.

1. Ok so, aside from Tippi because that's too easy lol (she's actually an important role model character for me!) I'd have to say I really like Thudley. It's silly but I just love his face, and the whole girth obsession gets me laughing every time (especially if you're playing as Bowser). I think of him every time I read or hear (or write) the word "girth".

I mean look at this guy, how can you not love him.

2. If we're only talking about actual Ancients and not their still-living descendants, then... Merlumina's unnamed sister who delivered the pure heart to the first King Sammer and fell in love with him. They had 100 kids which is presumably why the king now keeps 100 guardian warriors traditionally. And I mean damn girl!!! (I actually love Sammer's Kingdom and even the whole silly challenge, and the Sammer Guys and all their names, so... thanks to her)

3. Probably the Underwhere; I enjoy Greek mythology and love the concept of the Mario world having an underworld like this. The aesthetics and music are amazing and evocative, the "family trees" in the background in particular. Technically 3-4 (Fort Francis) is my favorite level for its humor and references, but the Underwhere is the best location.

4. Flopside just fits my vibes better... It's a more melancholy and laid-back place, and it feels like Flopside residents are usually the less successful ones, or the ones that have had a somewhat harder life, between them and their Flipside counterparts. I always feel like I am a less "successful" version of the person I could have been if I'd made different choices or magically didn't have to deal with my Brain Problems or the heart condition I was born with which robs me of a lot of energy. Nevertheless, I am pretty happy with my own life these days, even if the Flipside version of me (Yentruoc) went on to be a famous author and children's book illustrator like I once dreamed about. (I do like Flipside too though so of course I'd visit!)

5. I would visit Castle Bleck if that was an option; I want to see what it would feel like to exist in such an oppressively dark and colorless place, but I do think it's aesthetically fascinating and beautiful in its own way as well. Since I love the Bleck crew, their existence in the castle has captured my imagination for almost 16 years now! So I would love to see what it's actually like where they dwelt, and how accurate my imaginings were. I've doubtless thought about it more than any other place in the game so it would be mind-blowing to actually go there. But if that's not an option.... Well, I love Sammer's Kingdom like I said before, and it seems fun lol

6. I like to think I'd get along with Nastasia and we could commiserate on secretary type stuff.... Honestly I feel like Squirps captures the chaotic energy of myself and a lot of my friends but he's also a kid so it would be weird if he was my actual bestie lol. But I would happily babysit him any time. If he kept a similar personality into adulthood, we would totally hang out and yell excitedly about things and eat chocolate and give things weird names. Ok what I'm figuring out is that I may just have the personality of a kid LOL

COMIC HAUL !!!!!

Yipeeeee!! Okay so these are from several trips to my comic shop, cons, and shops outside my city. Gonna list where I got everything at the end so if y'all are in Canada 👀. But actually fr support local business!

Ignore my taking photos of them on the carpet floor, my desk is covered with shelves and stuff that needs to be put up still 😭

First of all here are most of the comics I picked up at my local comic shop since April. Was really happy to get a hold of all those variants but damn bro Pride month took all my money jahshshshz. I got all these at The Comic Book Shoppe in Ottawa, both locations. I'm probably gonna be pulling comics with them as long as I live here, their staff are definitely the most friendly I've experienced with any comic vendor.

I was in St. John's and was staying right next to the comic book store, it was so hard not to spend all my time there lol. Not pictured above but I also got Paper Girls vol. 1 just forgot to take it off my shelf for the photo 🤡. And Bylines in Blood #2 and 3 are also in the same bag as 1, I'm just waiting to get bag and boards before opening them up. If you guys are ever in Newfoundland, check out Downtown Comics! The building was bought by a new landlord recently so I don't know how that's going to affect the store, but I really hope they're able to renew their lease because that's the only one in the downtown area and it's been there since the 90s.

These are got from several different vendors at Ottawa FanaticCon. Got free admission as a volunteer 😎. As you can tell by now I'm only really looking for Cass, Tim, and Steph 💛💚💜. If you live in the Ottawa area, I 100% recommended heading to this convention if you're a collector. Most of the vendors do not have brick and mortar shops so you'll save of those horrible Canadian shipping fees, and they have a cosplay contest with a cash prize. However I don't recommend heading to this con if it's super out of your way. It is just a local convention so it's a small venue that fit maybe 50 vendors max (?). You're able to go through the entire thing in a few hours. I had fun though. Met an independent comic writer/artist from Montreal, obviously grabbed a lot of good books (that's the second printing of A Death in the Family TP btw. I thought that was cool) and some Pokémon.

TORONTO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Ugh I miss it already, I just came home last night. 7 of those issues I bought off Kijiji, the Robin I found at the CNE, and the Batwoman TP is from The Beguiling but everything else is from the best bookstores in Toronto, BMV Books. Everything in there is gently used or discounted new books (got that LOK art book for 20$! It's usually 50$+ retail here). Was really happy to find so much off my wishlist, AND BTW GOT BATGIRLS #8 VARIANT FOR 2$??!! FOUND CASS BATGIRL RUN TP??!! Love that store so much. If y'all are in Toronto check out all of BMV's locations but specifically the one between Bathurst and Spadina. Third floor is just thousands of comic issues. Most of their stuff is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than buying retail and in great condition.

Summary: this is part 1 of the series that recounts how Klein’s life ended as a human, and how he became the Archon of Sin.

When Simeon arrived, it was already too late. The Night Dagger had stabbed through Klein’s heart.

“Blaargh!” Klein vomited blood on Lucifer. The dagger did have a physical form after all, so it was a given that it would also cause physical wound.

“Klein, no, stay with me!” Klein really wanted to do as Lucifer said, but as so much blood leaving his body, his legs felt weak and he felt into Lucifer’s arms.

“Luci, I love you!” Klein whispered to Lucifer’s ear.

“No, Klein, don’t make it sound like you’re going to die. I will find a way-.”

“Shhhh…Luci, tell Mammon, Levi, Satan, Asmo, Beel, and Belphie that I love them too. *cough* *cough* please go to Fr. Leo and tell him to give me a *cough* Christian burial.”

Lucifer took Klein’s hand into his, kissing it and caressing it with his cheek. A tear managed to escape his eye.

“I guess this is my punishment *cough* for being so evil. Even in dream, I could never imagine an Evil Lord like me would sacrifice my life for someone else. Love makes me a fool.”

“Doesn’t it apply to us all?”

“Yeah-.” Klein took the rosary out from his pocket with his other hand. “Sorry, Mother.” Klein breathed his last. His soul exited his body and entered the Night Dagger, to be imprisoned inside until the end of time.

Lucifer turned into his demon form and used his wings to cover Klein’s body as he took the body of his beloved to the roof of the House of Lamentation. That night, every demon in Devildom, along with creatures of other races that resided there, heard an anguish howl, the most anguish howl they had ever heard.

“Lucifer, what happen-?” The three brothers with wings appeared came up to the roof immediately after hearing the painful howl.

“That’s-.”

“No, it can’t be. Not again.”

The next day, Diavolo ordered all flags of Devildom to be hung half-staff. All businesses in Devildom closed for a full day, and all classes and works of RAD were cancelled for three whole days. Even the Demon Lord’s Castle had a black banner hung on its tallest tower to show respect.

Inside the Council’s room at RAD, on each of the banners of the Avatars hung a black ribbon.

On the front door of the House of Lamentation also hung a black ribbon.

Lucifer had left the house to go to the Human Realm to tell Klein’s family about the tragic news and to prepare for the funeral. The whole house was left in Mammon’s charge.

The memory of Klein dying in his hands still felt like it was just yesterday. As Mammon looked at Klein inside the glass coffin, he felt so angry, mostly towards himself. Since that day, the Avatar of Greed had sworn that he would protect his human from all harm, that he would do everything in his ability to make his human happy. Why? Just why? Fate was so cruel, it took away his beloved, not once, but twice.

“Henry, open your eyes? Henry would never abandon his best friend, the Lord of Shadow.” Beside Mammon, Levi completely knelt on the ground beside the coffin, his eyes puff from crying. Some parts inside the Avatar of Envy was telling that it was all a lie, and if he went to sleep and wake up, maybe, just maybe, Klein would be all alive and well.

“Damn it, how could this happen?” Satan wanted to blame Lucifer, but deep down inside, he knew Lucifer had no fault in Klein’s death.

Asmo standing beside Satan didn’t even care about his appearance anymore. His eyes and face were more swollen than Levi from all the crying. After returning to the House of Lamentation, Lucifer let Asmo took Klein’s body away so Asmo would make sure Klein looked the best even in bis death. But all the make-up was meaningless when the soul of his beloved was not with him and his soul found no rest, forever trapped inside the Night Dagger.

Beel had promised to protect Klein, to be his shield, yet he had failed again. Lilith perished, now even Klein had gone, a fate more tragic than Lilith.

Belphie leaning on Beel’s shoulder, inside his head was grief for the his beloved, whom he had killed once. For Belphie, he had killed Klein a second time by failing to protect his evil overlord. Whose fault was that? Lucifer? Lucifer failed to save Klein, but he was also a victim in this? It was Diavolo and Solomon? They were in cahoot with each other, keeping all those secrets to themselves. In the end, Klein lost his life. Those two wanted to protect the Three Realms? Let the Three Realms burn, the Avatar of Sloth didn’t give a damn.

Now, when the sun of their lives had gone, everything felt like a harsh cold and icy world.
