“Alright, bye, Mama,” Remus called as Hope blew him a kiss. “I’ll write, promise.”

“Bye, Baby Blue,” she said back, smiling as he rushed to his friends.

By the time he reached James, Remus was already huffing. “Where’s Sirius?” he panted.

James pointed towards the other end of the platform, where an imposing woman and her rigid, straight-backed sons were standing. “There. He’s with the Blacks.”

“Shit,” Remus muttered, straightening up and composing himself. “He doesn’t look too good.”

Sure enough, Sirius had deep bags under his eyes, though not many people- besides his friends, of course- could tell.

“I hate it when he looks like that,” Peter frowned. “He shouldn’t.”

“He has to,” Remus replied dully. He didn’t want Sirius to look like that- all empty and tired- either, but he knew that if his boyfriend wanted to survive, he had to behave.

“Well, onto the train, lads,” James said with false cheer. “He’ll meet us there.”

“Yeah, he will.” Remus dragged his trunk up the Express and followed James down the corridor, entering their usual compartment. He busied himself by putting up his luggage on the storage racks.

The door slid open.

“Hey,” Sirius grinned, stepping into the compartment. “How are-”

He didn’t finish, as the rest of the Marauders launched themselves at him, successfully creating a dogpile.

“Oh, you’re all happy to see me,” Sirius chuckled. “Mind letting up? I’m feeling a bit squashed here.”

“Sirius,” James wailed, ignoring his best friend. He then attempted to get even closer to him, throwing Remus and Peter off in the process. 

“James,” Sirius replied amusedly. “Missed me?”

“You just looked so- unnatural on the platform,” James cried. “Don’t go there again, Sirius. Mum and Dad and I would love to have you-”

“That’s enough,” Sirius said, gently pushing James off. He stood up, dusting himself off.

Remus’s mouth suddenly felt dry. “Sirius,” he said, stepping closer.

The other boy immediately brightened. “Moony! I missed you,” he grinned, peppering Remus’s face with tiny kisses. “Didja miss me?”

“Of course I did, dummy,” Remus laughed, rolling his eyes. “How could I not? We’ve been apart for two months-”

He was interrupted by Sirius pressing their mouths together.

James booed. “Stop traumatizing Pete! Get a room, you two,” he huffed.

“Yeah, stop traumatizing me,” Peter squeaked. “Stop sucking face in public.”

Sirius glared at both of them. “No.”

Then, he went right back to making out with Remus.

Idk if this has been round tumblr yet, but how do we think Regulus would react to finding out about the "prank" that Sirius pulled on Remus in fifth year.

Remus is going to Regulus as soon as he can walk again, sobbing the hardest he ever has, inconsolable really. He has to get talked down from multiple panic attacks before he can even get a rough explanation out of what James had told him had happened, who at the time was shaking so badly from poorly concealed rage at Sirius.

But Sirius better count his days. If he isn't already disowned by now, he will be shortly because Regulus will stop at nothing to make his life a living hell until Remus and Sirius have made up on their own terms. He is beyond livid and manages to turn most of the school against Sirius when they don't even know what happened (like Harry's 4th year but worse)

park meet cute jegulus where regulus is a photographer and accidentally lands his lens on james and simply can't look away. he takes him in for a couple of seconds and then realizes he must look like a creep and shoves the camera down as quickly as he can, the guy is oblivious and doesn't seem to realize so regulus takes takes his stolen shot and flees before he can be spotted.

flash forward to later that day when regulus is craving cinnamon rolls so he leaves his bench and walks into the bakery across the street, he grabs the bread and walks to the register, and if the worker there looks at him, stutters his total, gives him a cupcake "on the house", and flushes when regulus deliberately thanks him by the name on his tag. well regulus is pleased to know the stranger on his camera roll won't be a stranger for long more.

So Amias' character kinda came from my lack of shit I want to write so I'm tryna set one up that I can get more excited about. I wrote a long ass story a bit ago called Mozzafiato/Alternate Reality and I loved the hell out of it before I lost interest. So I'm trying to start a new story that I also enjoy writing.

Hopefully this one can kinda evolve with me like Mozzafiato did. Mozzafiato was kinda a bit of everything. It had 3 main characters that went through every fandom I've ever been in. I'm kinda gonna do something similar with Amias. Starting with schooling at Hogwarts and seeing where it goes past that because I don't tend to plan it out when I write things for fun like that.

This might be a long post btw. There'll be a lot of reposts.

But I do reccomend that people who love writing do this sort of thing because it's nice to just let go and do whatever you want. Kinda stress relieving. Especially if you use it as an escape generally.

I've never posted Mozzafiato permanently but I do plan to post the one that I'm working on. Mozzafiato was much more personal and I just didn't want to post it. It's also over 800k pages by now so if I did post it and all its versions, it'd be hell to try and read.

Sirius is such an icon. He literally just turned up at his “best friend’s” house with practically no warning to stay indefinitely, without talking to his “friend’s” parents first. Then, after they didn’t immediately tell him to fuck off, he started an affair with said friend, their only son, while they slept across the hall. I aspire to be that guy the way Sirius is that guy.

on one hand I support the chaotic energy of there being one random person in the marauders' dorm who wasn't one of them because the one normal outsider trope is something I adore on the other hand i'm sorry I DO think the marauders would have sucked any such fifth roommate into their orbit and he would have become either part of the group or their worst enemy dethroning Snape and doubtless trying to wreck harry's life so would have shown up in canon. of course the other reason is I think there were more students in marauders era Hogwarts so I think there were nineteen Gryffindor boys that year and the marauders got the one four person dorm which is in part why they ended up the way they ended up
