I'm curious on your opinions about the TO pregnancy storyline; tbh I was never a fan of the Wattpad ultra powerful baby trope and just couldn't enjoy Hope's character. While I understand it was so Klaus could have unconditional love, I feel like his "redemption" could've taken other avenues. What do you think it would've been like had Hope, and likely Hayley, not been included?
Thanks! I hope you're well <3
WATTPAD ULTRA POWERFUL BABY TROPE! 🗣️🗣️🗣️ That is the best definition I have ever seen!! I've been asked this a few times, nonnie, and despite the fact I have written over 1M words of baby fic based on the TO pregnancy plot, I hdo hate that storyline 😂 If I had been the one behind the show, I would've never gone down that road. I still remember my disappointment when I was watching the backdoor pilot in TVD S4! I was so excited about the spin off and could not fucking believe they'd made a baby the whole premise for the show. I was literally cursing at my TV. I cannot deal with pregnant vampires.
And I agree, I think there was a plethora of better options for them to explore. It was great that they decided to introduce more werewolf lore into the story, but I don't get why they did that through Hayley when Klaus was *right there*. Klaus spent a thousand years trying to break his curse only to never speak about being a werewolf ever again. We never see his wolf form, we never see how he relates to that side of him. Being a half-werewolf is the thing that defined Klaus' entire existence from when he was a child, and it never gets explored. The connections to the bayou packs should've always been his. If they wanted to go down the fatherhood avenue, on the other hand, then they should've looked no further than Marcel! It was such a better story all along, because Marcel was found family. He was someone Klaus rescued and raised and loved like a son despite the fact he wasn't his blood, he taught Marcel everything, and there's so much in that to unpack when it comes to the Mikaelsons and Klaus in particular. He mourned Marcel's death, losing him left a mark in Klaus that guided his actions for a hundred years, and then he goes back to Nola to find out he'd not only survived but had taken over the city. Hayley's pregnancy ends up totally overshadowing what should've been the big point of the season and Marcel is relegated to a glorified extra after. And then there were the Mikaelson sibligns themselves - the whole point of having the show to begin with! I thought it was great they brought Kol and Finn back, but they should've actually used them, made them the heart of the season, rather than a side plot. Finn had so much potential to be an antagonist better than aunt Dahlia or the Guerreras or the Hollow, lasting multiple seasons just like the Mikaelsons themselves did in TVD. Kol had so much beef with Elijah and it never got addressed. Why???? And lastly, the missed crossover opportunities. I honestly don't get the point of doing a spin off if you're just going to pretend you're not connected to the parent show anymore. The only decent crossover they ever made were the combined episodes in TVD S7/TO S3 when Stefan goes to Nola and they made it a two-show event. They should've done so much more of that. Things that happened in Mystic Falls could've affected Nola and vice versa. More characters could've crossed over for longer arcs, and I don't just mean Caroline, although I would've obviously loved that. Bonnie in Nola would've been amazing! Kol could've been back in TVD for a little while. There was so much they could've done by involving the characters in both shows that would've enriched the storytelling, but they decided not to because they were too scared people would get attached and then they wouldn't know how to break things apart again. lol Cowards.
So yeah, I think the baby plot was lazy, unimaginative, sappy and borderline stupid in a show about vampires who *already* have all the family they could ever need in order to generate enough dramatic storylines to feed the plot. Klaus deciding in all but five minutes that he wanted to be a daddy, and with Hayley of all people, who had been the one to turn all his hybrids on him to force him to kill them so she could deliver a sacrifice in exchange for a useless piece of information (congrats, your parents are dead!), was so OOC for him I can't even. At the very least it should've taken him a while to contend with the idea. And the worst part is that after all of that, he never becomes a good father lol He basically abandons his daughter and then commits a totally unncessary suicide at the end because I guess he'd rather die than be a single parent 🤷♀️ What kind of redemption is that?
I don't think Klaus needed redemption, btw. I don't think there was redemption for him. That was never the point of Klaus for me. Yes, there is more to him than a psychotic bloodthirsty murderer with anger issues and by giving him his own show we get to explore all this other facets and his past and his relationships and where some of his behavior stems from (or we should have been able to explore that, at least), but I don't think he needed to become *good* or to *prove himself worthy* in order for his character arc to be complete. This is a man who has been commiting terrible crimes against humanity for a thousand years with little to no remorse. The fact he loves his own daughter does not redeem him. It wasn't a redemption, and it shouldn't have been seen as such.
Plus, not every character needs (or wants!) redemption!!!
Anyway, thanks for your question, nonnie, and sorry about the TED talk 😂 Now let me go back to writing my baby fic 🥲
#yokan answers#as someone who has watched to more times than it is socially acceptable to admit#i have lots of thinky thoughts about this show's shortcomings#which you might not realize based on my writing history!#SIGH

Hey, i follow your blog for several weeks now and think you make some fresh of breth air.
What is your opinion on aang and his arc in general ? Are you critical of the lion turtle at the end and think it was a selfish moment when he did not redirect lightning back at ozai?
Despite of all the shipping wars :)
Let's make a distinction clear here: the lionturtle was poorly set up, that is a totally valid complaint. Claiming that a traumatized 12-year-old, who as a bonus was raised to be a pacifist, is being selfish for not wanting to be people's assassin for hire is complete lunacy. He's a child, a person. He's not your super weapon/soldier, and his responsibilities as the Avatar don't change the fact that what people are expecting of him is unfair and deeply traumatizing.
And actually, Aang's role as the Avatar and the way people misunderstand it ties into why I think his arc was great: he has a duty to the world. The WHOLE world. Fire Nation very much included.
He isn't there to wipe them off the face of the Earth in retaliation for what they did to his people. He isn't there to have them be ruled with an iron fist for the crime of being born in the wrong place/culture, regardless of how complicent every individual was, or wasn't, in the war. He isn't there to disregard anyone's humanity and inherent right to life and dignity, not even Ozai's, for "the greater good."
He is there to bring back harmony. To help put the Fire Nation back on the right path. To make them stop being a threat, yes, but through REDEMPTION, not violence.
That's why he learns that the kids were taught lies basically from birth, and that any form of self-expression, and even old Fire Nation traditions, are being suppressed. Why he turns to Iroh for advice in Ba Sing Se even though the old man was constantly helping Zuko. Why he could see the lonely, angry, sad child hiding behind Zuko's hostile behavior. Why he too needed to see that fire could be both life and death, and thus should not be hated but also not used caressly, because even though he is an air-nomad before anything, that is still his element too.
The Fire Nation's original culture might not be his primary identity, but it is part of him, and he's one of the few people alive that were there to witness it in it's true glory - and the only one who hasn't had time to get used the idea of them being nothing but a threat now. That's why Aang is the perfect guy to save the day. He won't let them do evil, but he won't let their potential for good be ignored.
And it's sooooooooooooooooo satisfying to see the Fire Nation needing to rely on Aang's air-nomad culture to help. To see him prove Ozai was wrong to think they were just dead-weight in the world, that they had nothing of value to offer (and grabbing the fucker by his stupid beard).
To see Aang, who lost his people, saw sacred temples and relics destroyed, and that even had to hide his arrow, screaming to the whole world that the wisdom of the airbenders was the one hope for a brighter future and being validated by the narrative for it was fucking beautiful.
Aang was a child that was constantly told he had to sacrifice everything, his beliefs, his peace of mind, his culture, his attachment to the people he loved, what was left of his childhood and potentially even his own life for everyone else's sake, and that he was selfish if didn't like that shitty deal the universe offered him. And in the finale he said "FUCK THAT NOISE!" and that was thing that ultimately saved everyone, not just himself.
He is the poster boy for "Fuck you! It's real easy to talk about sacrifices for the greater good when you're not the one who'll have to sacrifice anything!" and I love him for that.
Seriously, it's crazy how fans that go "Urgh, just betray your beliefs and traumatize yourself for everyone else's sake already, you selfish asshole" don't realize they're unironically talking like an actual cartoon villain that is know for being cowardly and cruel.

Times Ep 33 made me go (??) + some yaps about Ying Lei, Siheng, and Baijiu's.. if you've watched the last few episodes, you know what I'm referring to
apologies if this is on the neg/critical side but I'm rewatching it and there are things I picked up after emotions have subsided from the first time I watched it
spoilers!
Siheng died from... a torn arm? He literally got stabbed in the chest in Ep30 by Li Lun and disappeared into sparkles. I thought he was going to die in that Ep30 scene ngl
Since we're on Ep30, I get that Li Lun doesn't want to fatally harm Ying Lei. All his attacks are at Ying Lei's non-vital points, which checks out. And yet... Ying Lei... dies? The more I think about it the more I think that the writers don't want to villainize Li Lun completely, to justify his return and redemption in Ep 32/33. If Li Lun actually sent a clear, fatal blow, to Ying Lei, Ying Lei's death would have been more justified but at the cost of completely villainising Li Lun. The writers don't want that. So they go the non-fatal blow route and have Ying Lei die... from idk what, a stab through the shoulder and a few whips. Ying Lei dying for Baijiu checks out for his story arc, but the manner of his death could be done better. Then again, I'm thinking, the only other antagonist to mercilessly kill Ying Lei is WZY, but they need to save him for the boss battle. So it only leaves Li Lun to inflict the 'killing' blow beforehand. This said, I still cried a shit ton at his death scene.)
Back to Ep 33, the barrier at the mountain god temple: So ZYC can enter but not exit? If the barrier was truly made to protect WZY and has been erected since a while back, nobody should be able to cross it in the first place as a double assurance (no entrance, no exit)
And in Baijiu's flashback: It's telling us that the barrier has been set up since the time he was still hanging around in Chongwu Camp. Iirc didn't that second in command literally stand in that altar room in the first few episodes with WZY, and this is set I think after Baijiu has left Chongwu Camp?
Lol WZY waited an eternity for yuanyi to complete their soulmate conversation, with ZYC in his killing grasp. I know you're waiting for the reincarnation to complete the power up, but... you can still take the mortal route of snapping his neck right. He doesn't need ZYC as hostage. The classic scene of villain watches heroes deliberate whether to take action.
My issue isn't that the deaths of Ying Lei and Siheng weren't unjustified. In fact, I believe Ying Lei's death, though not needed per se, was earned in battle. He was always going to protect and bring back Bai Jiu no matter the cost. Siheng was always fated to die. He's already dead, he needs to be dead for Sijing to fully come back to reality. It's just the manner in which they have written their deaths doesn't quite hit the mark. It's only the sheer talent of the actors that pulled the punches.
And of course we can't skip Baijiu's death. Now this. This. *looks at the camera like I'm in the office, though my eyes are red and snot is running down my face* This sounds really weird in text, but I think it's perfect. Perfect in pacing, perfect in its place in the story, perfect in emotional damage. There are some who think it's stupid for him to die because Ying Lei died for him and so many people have sacrificed parts of themselves to bring him back, but the others don't hold a candle next to how much ZYC means to him. He isn't going to simply let ZYC die on the other side. And he finally finds the courage he always wants to have, while protecting ZYC. HE HOLDS THE FUCKING BELLS WHILE- I will stop crying :) Though I am upset he completes his arc in death, it is not farfetched.
Ep 33 (and Ying Lei's death) has its heart in the right place but once again, shows that FoF has its strength in writing about the heart but not really the body of the story. It was actually going decently, and I never had the urge to point out the '??' times since Ep 17. A pity this happens in the second last episode. But I must say Ep 34 is written decently. Will see again tomorrow.

yknow what im tired of being nice idc if it starts annoying arguments
like ok i stand by being annoyed of and suspicious at people uncritically treating ochette as a child bc of the aggressive and obviously racist infantilization of the beastlings and also the beastlings as a concept. outside of some ppl commenting on a really old game announcement like "what do you mean the pasifika coded main character is an animal girl who is obsessed with food . why would you do this" the only actual ot2 fan ive seen criticizing the ochette racism is someone acting like temenos' chapter 5 came from temenos the character being racist
temenos isnt real, he is a fake guy. he is racist(im never letting go of the 'human language' banter. i will be mad about that until i die), and so is his story(kaldena...), and the beastlings' 'history' definitely makes things substantially Worse but im shaking you like a soda can please tell me you understand that ochette's story is Already Racist. it is already racist to infantilize them and make them the only characters who speak in a repetitive simplistic dialect and make the only speakers of the beastling language incomprehensible(dont even worry abt why none of the others speak beastling thats, uh, fine probably) and have Beastling Village Apartheid wherein the explicitly colonizer characters have like cute little sidequests and a redemption arc where they kinda chill out and are satisfied with Only half the village they colonized. it is already racist to make them Noble Savages who are so in touch with Nature that they're kemonomimi and they talk to their animal companions and they're obsessed with food, specifically meat. it's already racist to have them be Called beastlings and have the nameless village and beastling village be nameless when everyone else gets a real demonym! in fact despite me continuing to believe that the beastlings were reverse engineered from the concept of the hunter subjob making you a catgirl the writers wrote themselves into a situation where the hunter subjob is brownface!
so it's like. really bad that despite ochette being 20 she is characterized like a toddler. temenos is definitely the worst to her and is the source of the most open racism but despite me liking her castti is also super racist to ochette, she's just not as much of a dick about it. i kind of want to be generous to people who thought ochette was supposed to be a kid because that is how she's written but like... no, man, i don't think so. i dont think that joke about ochette being a child soldier is all that funny and i think you maybe should have thought for like two more seconds about why that would still be bad and ultimately an excuse to have the protagonist be infantilized. ochette should both be an adult and be treated like an adult and in larger terms the beastlings as a concept should've either been scrapped, massively reworked, or at the very least treated like actual people. i don't even want ot2 to have acknowledged the depth and prevalence of racism because ot2 is just not a game that's equipped to deal with the kind of systemic oppression it introduced with the beastlings, which i know because they fucked up so badly that they ended up just accepting the premise of racism and simply arguing that you shouldn't be so mean to biologically inferior races. this isn't something they should have put in the game if they weren't prepared to reckon with it.
there's no like conclusion here. i still like ochette(the version of her i made up in my brain thats essentially a completely different character, anyway) and idk what the most ethical thing to do in this situation would be. probably not making jokes about how baby and stupid she is, though.
#c.paradisi#ochette#octopath#octoposting#'if youre so critical of ochette and her story why is she your favorite' the mental illness.#temenos and castti are really only the ones i single out bc. well. temenos is Aggressively racist#castti is just the one who talks to ochette the most and has her 'maternal' thing#pretty much everyone has a few racism moments#im not rly trying to single out the 'how not to be racist' person. i agree with the comic. so true bestie#i do think its out of character for him to apologize though

You've got me curious about Museumshipping. How would Ishizu try to fix Bakura?
This is kinda long. Sorry for the wait, and any scatter brained nonsense.
This is mostly speculation and Divine Intuition, but the main reason I think Ishizu could fix Yami Bakura is because she seems like the only neutral character in Yugioh. She’s also the only character with no real beef with him.
Like, Yami Bakura has made enemies with everyone else except Ishizu.
Shadi doesn’t like him because he killed him and most of the Plana
Pegasus probably doesn’t like him because he stole his millennium eye and killed him
Yugi doesn’t like him because he tried to steal the puzzle and kill/hurt his friends and lied to him about being a changed person
The rest of the Yugi gang don’t like him for the same reasons (tho I think Tristan would probably hate him the most because he pays the most attention to Ryou)
Ryou sure as hell ain’t trying to redeem him unless it’s right after he dies
Ghost and the Gang are in hell because of him (I hope he sent them to the cool hell)
Marik doesn’t like him because he just doesn’t like him
Odion probably doesn’t like him because he inadvertently got Marik killed by Yami Marik and he just does whatever Marik wants.
Mai probably doesn’t like him because of how he treats the Yugi gang
Aigami fucking hates him
No one else knows who he is
So, that leaves Ishizu as his last option to help at redemption. From what I’ve seen in the anime adaptation, Ishizu doesn’t see Yami Bakura as much of a threat (due to her necklace) and Yami Bakura just flat out has no clue who she is. I think these factors would make them willing to not only interact, but also maybe help each other out.
Maybe since Ishizu wants to protect ancient artifacts, and Yami Bakura likes stealing them. They both benefit by having Ishizu possibly pay him to go and find any missing artifacts. I just get the feeling that since he’s technically King of Thieves whether you think he’s more Zorc or not, he could find them pretty easily. I think he’d like having an excuse to steal.
There’s also the fact that since Ishizu has the power to look into the past, she could see everything that’s happened to Yami Bakura and begin to understand and sympathize with why he wants the items and why he hates Yami.
She snoops in his past more and more and starts to resent the Pharaoh, but she’s scared of what will happen if she betrays him.
I think it’d be interesting to see her having an internal conflict about this because she was raised to serve the Pharaoh, but at the same he hurt Yami Bakura in ways that can’t ever be forgiven.
Ishizu being the only other person to know both sides of the story could be important to Yami Bakura getting redeemed.
And now time for this plot bunny that has been stuck in my head for a few months.
I think that in the situation where Yami Bakura got his own body sometime after the Memory World arc, he’d fall on some pretty hard times. Not as hard as it could be since he’s the greatest thief to ever exist, but he is homeless, jobless, motivationless, and he probably thinks he’s worth nothing and is a failure. Not because he tried to end the world or anything, but because his revenge plan just didn’t work.
I like to imagine that Ishizu found him one day, pitied him, and decided to let him stay at her house until he feels well enough to get an apartment. She tells him that everything in her house is just as much his as it is hers (to kill any desire to steal since it’s already his. Yes it would work), she makes him food whenever he has no energy to get up, she reasures him that he isn’t a failure just because this one revenge plot didn’t work out for him, and she comforts him.
Over time, Yami Bakura starts to feel bad. Not about hurting Yugi and the gang, but he does feel a little stupid for trying to end the world. The world that Ishizu lives in. This could lead him to trying to help Ishizu around the house to show her mild gratitude, giving her small gifts (usually a hair accessory), and attempting to cook for her. That usually ends in a disaster. A disaster that Yami Bakura expects to get yelled at for and maybe kicked out. To his surprise, that doesn’t happen. Ishizu just laughs at his misfortune with cooking and helps him clean up the mess.
I like to think that at that moment, they slowly begin to fall in love.
Of course I have other ideas for them, but this one has been eating away at me for a long time. It’s such a shame that this could only work as a slow burn longfic because I wanna write so bad.

Twilight Clown Takes Special Edition - Stupid Romance Novel Focuses On Stupid Romance!1!!1
Another video whining about how great the Twilight lore is and how ~awful the romance is, and how to ~fix it. Well, I do know what needs to be fixed—clowns not understanding what romance is. And thus we feast, on nom nom nom
Bella Hate Dumb Round ♾️
I did not read thousands of pages of four books to be told this character, whom I know now like the back of my hand, has no personality. In fact—fuck it, homegirl has too much!!!! Plus a full on character arc from low self-worth and poverty to wealth and empowerment!!! Give me literally any situation and I could tell you, 100%, how Bella would react to it.
Clown OP: Bella is so selfish and narcissistic!!1!!1
Bella: *relieved that James tricked her and she is going to die instead of her mother* 😮💨
Also, Bella not wanting to live without Edward and doing reckless shit…is because she is in love with him. It’s literally passion. As soon as Edward comes back 99% of her reckless behaviors disappear. And of course she is not stupid enough to pick fights with actual vampires!!!
“I hate X about Twilight!!!1!!! I only saw the movies!!!” Not again…I’m not strong enough…
But the Lore!!! The Lore!!!!
If the upcoming show does this, that is the day it will be dead to me and pretty much all thinking audiences. There is literally no other plot in Twilight but the romance plot, and if you take that away and replace it with yet another vampire lore shit, then what is the difference between Twilight and, say, Vampire Diaries? Nothing, which would suck because VD was godawful trash (the books at least, but from what I’ve heard of the show…😒)
These clowns never realize that in many ways Bella and Edward’s relationship go against the religious paradigm as well and subvert typical gender roles and behaviors (the girl wanting sex, the boy wanting to abstain, the girl not wanting marriage, the boy wanting marriage).
Actually, had Meyer decided to go full-on lore and ditched the romance entirely that would have been more in line with her religion. Christianity of all kinds is savagely anti-sex and eroticism and adores magic, fantasy, and made-up histories. That is what it is made of, after all.
Oh, Clown OP. You just opened a big can of worms that is my detestation for how the utterly creepy purity culture shitshow that was the Buffy/Angel saga went down.
As far as I remember, Buffy/Angel started out okay, if not particularly inspiring—just your typical teen drama romance. But then Angel loses his soul after sleeping with Buffy and become evil. Because of course sex is dirty and nasty and evil, and if you sleep with someone you and/or your partner ~lose your morality and become depraved.
Now that subplot reeked of toxic purity culture and I will always hate, hate, hate Whedon for doing that bullshit. To this very day, I get so angry at this stupid plotline—they literally could have done anything else to separate the two and they chose this! Awful.
“I hate X about Twilight!!!1!!! I only saw the movies!!!” Reprise (Scherzo, petulante)
(As for the hybrid thing, technically Jacob is a hybrid as well. He and Renesmee both have supernatural and human characteristics! Definitely not bad in terms of a basis for a future relationship. But once again, the imprinting mechanism is biological.)
Jasper already turned his back to his violent (vampire) past and deserted the (vampire) war. That was his redemption arc—choosing peace over war. We don’t know his feelings towards his time as a Confederate, but given the parallels the narrative between the human war and the vampiric one—as well as the neutral and distant way he spoke of it—that his Confederate past is nothing he holds dear. Jasper out of all the Cullens is the most vampiric, so it makes little sense for him to still be the proud Confederate or remember his human life well.
Also. Breaking Dawn literally had Brazilian, Spanish, Russian, English, Irish, Romanian, and Middle Eastern vampires—on top of our American vampires, our Italian-Greek vampire royal family, and our Native American werewolves. Oh, and indigenous Latin American hybrids. You clearly have not read the books, Clown OP.
There are no other storylines. Alice’s story was over the moment James was killed. Rosalie already got revenge on her rapists. The Volturi are power-hungry opportunists, but they don’t act without provocation. James and Victoria and Laurent are random nomads. What other storyline, OP???
To Conclude, Once Again
Thank you.

Yeah... Marrow is the least controversial of the Ace Ops on account of being the only one to turn against Ironwood when it had become clear that he was more concerned with "winning" than saving Atlas.
But a lot of people (myself included) feel that the Ace Ops' sudden last-second redemption in the final episodes of the Volume (Harriet's especially) came out of nowhere. Like, Harriet especially felt to be in poor taste to me, given the whole "cops can get away with murder as long as they have the right friends" thing in the real world, thus making Harriet being able to get away with trying to nuke a city by accepting friendship with the other Ace Ops more INSULTING than inspiring.
(Seriously, they should've either had her sacrifice herself to fly the Nuke away from Mantle or just had Watts remotely hijack the nuke instead of having Harriet attempt genocide out of spite, and most of the issues with her arc would be resolved. Like this wouldn't have resolved any of the issues with the Ace Ops bodyshaming and dehumanizing Penny and then never having to confront their biases because they turned Penny human and then immediately killed her off, but at least Harriet wouldn't be getting off scott free for a literal war crime because she shed some crocodile tears.)
I really feel like the Ace-Op's are my only real criticism of the story so far just because they've done too much that's just irredeemable and the show never spent enough time really talking about how fucked up it was that they were willing to just kill a bunch of innocent civilians for seemingly no reason, because at that point there really WAS no reason to murk Mantle. Salem had already arrived, she was already at their doorstep, and the people of Mantle were evacuating without his help. If Ironwood really didn't care to save mantle, why waste a bomb trying to get rid of it? Really just to spite them. He wasn't thinking clearly at all and seemed to think for some stupid reason that killing everyone in Mantle would make RWBY work with him, when I can just see that making them even more upset with him.
And I don't really like what they did with Clover just because he's such a new character not just to us, but to Qrow as well. I think it'd have been better if Clover was different from the other Ace-ops like maybe he was from Beacon like Qrow and that could give them some kind of connection, and make us think Clover would've been different from the rest of them. As it stands though, their whole confrontation just seems to be too stupid and silly. Because Clover dies so early, we don't really see him do anything that makes us think he's a good person.
In fact, after he dies his teammates prove to just be even worse then what we imagined. Every time they were like "Noooo Clover was better then all of us :(" I kept thinking Was he? Lol he tried to arrest Qrow for no real reason, and got himself killed by a serial killer. Sure Qrow blames himself for working alongside Tyrian in that moment, but knowing what we know now about the Ace-ops and how they were willing to legitimately genocide all of Mantle to fuel Ironwoods ego and fear........maybe getting rid of Clover was good luck on Qrow's part, but he is too lovey dovey and sad to understand that right now.

I’ve had my “THE FINALE WASNT HORRIBLE AND HERES WHAT I LIKED” arc.
Now, the time for me to complain about why I don’t actually like the finale is approaching because I’ve argued most of my points against the general negative consensus.
I’m not gonna go in depth right now. It’s 4 in the morning I just spent the entire time baking Christmas goodies until I forgot to put fucking sugar in my last batch of cookies.
But to summarize some of my positive opinions on the finale:
The finale was the most logical scenario with the resources and people they were working with while still maintaining the same ending. There was probably a better way, but it was the most direct and logical route to a set destination.
Tommy’s character arc required him to NOT COMMIT MURDER. STOP ENCOURAGING MURDER. ITS NOT GOOD FOR HIM.
c!Dream was being pitied for his fall from grace because c!Tommy knew they weren’t getting out of the prison alive. c!Dream would never have been allowed a redemption arc, and if there was enough time, he wouldn’t have taken the option anyway, especially not with c!Punz having no reason to not continue with the plan for his own personal gain rather than some twisted end game.
The content creators have been playing Minecraft for so long that they’re fantastic at displaying motion and body language through their characters. I dunno. Maybe you didn’t pick up on it, but I could sense the stress and pushing and limping and just THE MINECRAFT BODY LANGUAGE WAS GOOD.
Now for a sneak peek on my negative opinions:
A vast majority of finale neg and crit is valid and I agree with it. I just disagree with a lot of the rest of it and that’s why I’m vocal about what I liked. I don’t like to rehash what other people have said though, I also don’t like to actively ruin my enjoyment of something I like, so you probably won’t hear me putting in my two cents on the stuff that’s already been beat to death. I’ll just focus on specific crit that I don’t see much of.
They didn’t need the revive and limbo scene. I think it was stupid and I don’t get it. Everyone agrees that literally fucking killing cTommy then him going “Ah yes Dream wasn’t always bad” was a good idea, but for my own sanity, I chose to gloss over it. Just have like one normal conversation. Or just have cGeorge or cSapnap actually be there and having a dynamic with cDream instead of doing whatever the fuck limbo was.
Literally any other fucking character taking part in the last finale stream would have made it like twenty times better because there’d be someone to talk/slap sense into any of them instead of letting all of them have existential crises.
If it weren’t for the fact that cc!Dream plays both c!Dream and DreamXD, a finale in which DreamXD fucks up c!Dream and renders the nuke useless would have been much better.
Literally just ANY OTHER CHARACTER. ANYONE ELSE AT ALL BUT ALL THE RESPONSIBLE CHARACTERS GOT FUCKING EGGED AT THE EXACT SAME TIME. BUT THEY COULD HAVE GRABBED SAPNAP OR GEORGE. PLEASE. UNLESS THEY WERE OCCUPIED BY THE XD FINALE. PLEASE GIVE ME THE XD FINALE SO I CAN STOP CRYING OVER SAPNAP NOT BEING IN THE DISC DUO FINALE.
CPUNZ STOP BEING A FUCKING SIMP FOR CDREAM AND STOP MOPING OVER CDREAM NOT THINKING THEYRE FRIENDS. DRAMATIC IRONY MADE US KNOW YOU WERE A VILLAIN ALL ALONG BUT YOU COULD HAVE BEEN A PLOT TWIST GOOD GUY. LITERALLY PUNZ AS A PLOT TWIST GOOD GUY WOULD HAVE MADE THE FINALE SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER EVNE IF THEY SLL DIE TL THE NUKES ANYWAY. BUT WHY THE FUCK WAS HE SO DEVOTED TO CDREAM THAT THEY EVEN KILLED AND REVIVED EACH OTHER OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
anyway. That will be all for tonight. I have work later and tomorrow and then a long day of putting up with family that makes me want to rip my lungs out.

Season 2 episode 9 let’s go!
- I’m so excited to learn more about hennn
- hen wtf is on your head. Ope not the men awkwardly laughing. White people cant recognize a black queer person if said black queer person was wrapped in a rainbow flag
- hen girl I hope you have savings or a backup plan.
- she’s at a career counsellor? This counsellor has fantastic hair, hen you should learn from her. Though this look does fit this time period.
- HEN AS BATMAN?!!
- this career counsellor is useless, im pretty sure she’s gonna have a medical emergency- oop down she goes! Ohhh so she’s a life coach. Yay hen you saved her life! I’ve been taught cpr twice and I wouldn’t have been able to save that lady
- hi hens ex girlfriend! I hate you. And right on track she’s being dismissive about hens dreams, Karen would never!!
- ooh ok they’re getting a little intersectional wit it.
- I’m pretty sure this is the episode where we meet Tommy and the severity of his bigotry will influence how I view him through the whole show, I still hate Billy from stranger things for being racist to Lukas
- hell yeah cherry bomb!
- OMG YES BURN THE HELL OUT OF YHAT UGLY WIG JESUS CHRISY THANK YOU
- cherry bomb kinda is the perfect song for this montage wow
- GO HEN GOOOOO
- WOOOOO SHE DID IT! GIRLS IN BLUE! GIRLS IN BLUE! YIPPEE
- oh I can sense the bigotry about to come. Hi Gerard. Ugh I hate him already
- TOMMY! In 5 seasons people go crazy over you and so far I cannot see why. CHIMNEY! Ugh chimney you’re constantly raising the bar, love you
- Tommy being workplace bullied for being gay… ok I’ll hold my judgements- WOAH! New York BITCHINESS… guys come on
- Gerard you are the worst and the fact that they trivialize your mess in the latest season is actually so horrific
- BOOO WHO CARES WHO THESE WHITE LOSERS SIT WITH ANYWAY! POC SOLIDARITY I KNOW THATS NOT RIGHT!!! See if Tommy could be a bit more like chimney that would go a long ways, like just a little ‘we’re in this together’… but I guess at the end of the day marginalized white people will always choose their whiteness over their marginalization, and gay white men are kinda notorious for being really bad for that. Hope he gets a good redemption arc ig
- hens gonna save the hell out of this woman!! Tommy shut the hell up, why question the paramedic oh my lord. GERARD SHUT THE FUCK UP SAME QUESTION TO YOU
- ATHENA AND HEN MEETING EEK! Omg yeah hen really is staking her whole job on this. But ofc it’s working bc she’s a genius!
- Gerard please be so fucking for real right now you useless loser trash goblin
- at least we have poc and black woman solidarity. But chimney being so nice to her really highlights how much certain other people suck… but lemme not repeat myself too much.
- hen you can’t hard work yourself into being respected by this awful bigoted man. Oh I’m so glad Buck punches this man in the face or whatever, I hate him so much… and this is the guy people were calling silly and goofy and funny? Oh I see how it is
- yay hen and Athena friendship hours! Marginalized first responders club, aw I love this for them. I like these guys, especially Casey! Hell yeah Athena, even tho your job is like inherently awful, this is valuable advice
- aw wait guys I feel so bad I already hate Tommy and his stupid face😭 I just can’t believe he called her a bitch completely unprompted like what. I was under the impression that he did all this stuff like totally prompted by Gerard
- oh hen this speech is so goooood, 10/10 monologue! And ofc chimney supports her instantly, solidarityyyyy
- will tommy be nicer to hen now that he knows they’re both gay
- hen fuck that guy, you are so right as always. CHIMNEYYYY, you are suuuuch a fave I love you! Sooooolidarity! No bc he’s like risking his JOB for her! Where’s Tommy??? Nowhere to be found. I wish I hadn’t known he was gay beforehand bc that makes it feel more like a betrayal
- oh shit I really hope this kid survives. YAY! YAY CHIMNEY AND HEN VULNERABLE CRYING BEST FRIEND SOLIDARITYYYY
- oh yay they’re giving hen her flowers! Ok! All is not forgiven bc I didn’t hear an apology, but that was pretty ok!
- YAY GERARD GOT FIRED?!! Oh the guys stepped up! Yippee, hen I’m so happy for you. Not to make this about Tommy but I hope it’s revealed that he was one of the guys to complain bc that would fix a lot for me
- chimneyyy you mischievous little MAN! I love you chimney, you’re the best!
- they did such a good job of writing hen without making her a mammy bc I can see how these writers would’ve messed that up but damn
- hen redeeming herself with her outro speeches love it
Ok that’s definitely my favourite episode so far, the writing was very good (even though they dropped and picked up some themes on intersectionality kinda abruptly) and I feel like I know hen a lot better now! Like I’ve thought before that she can be kinda snippy sometimes, not in a bad way or anything, it’s just something I’ve noticed! And this episode really showcased that it’s not that she’s snippy, but that she’s one of those people who’s really outspoken and very principled. It’s kind of refreshing to see from a show where our other main black representation is Athena…. But lemme not go on my cop rant. Yeah this episode was just great for the most part, and the emergencies were strangely more grounded than other emergencies in other shows, so I felt more anxious during them. Ig part of it was the knowledge that hen could be fired at any moment too. This whole episode has made me feel so happy for where hen is now, she has such a strong support system who’ll protect and support her against things like racism or sexism now, it makes me so happy!
I gotta say, I’ve been thinking of some posts I’ve seen regarding Tommy while I watched this episode, and while I think the posts that say he didn’t really do anything wrong of his own fruition are like lying for some reason, he’s definitely not irredeemable! I’m cautiously optimistic to see the development of his character all the way in season 7 and to see how he’s changed and stuff. I don’t get why everyone likes him so much yet, but ig this is just like the point in the character arc where he’s at his lowest and I do see potential!

levi character ramble..
So there's this guy, Xylem Renfield. In the Foreverlands, he is antagonist of the first arc, and one of few antagonists who make it to the end of the arc they prominently feature in relatively unscathed. Most get kicked out of the narrative or locked away until the time is right to let them back in, but Xylem just kind of ambles his way out of the climactic confrontation and stays mostly to the side of the story for a while after.
The Foreverlands is incredibly long, which means, as the first antagonist, and someone who actually survives being an antagonist, he has a lot of time to get all complicated. I mean, he's already complicated when he first shows up, he's a deeply conflicted character from minute one in a way that manages to stand out in a cast overflowing with messy bitches like him. He's a disaster acting on the whims of his moral compass, but due to some extenuating circumstances his moral compass has turned into a fucking roulette wheel.
He doesn't exactly reveal much about himself in that first arc (the solid facts we have on him at that point basically boil down to his name, the fact that he's 23, and the fact that he likes reading), but there are certain implications beyond that. It's clear that he's been an assassin for a long time which is implied to be longer than most assassins he works with, and that he does not want to be there. The assumption one can then make is that he found himself in the guild as a child and was unable to leave thereafter—which is correct, but it isn't until the eleventh arc that this is explained in any detail.
Arcs 9 through 11 heavily focus on Thistle, with 10 and 11 both following protagonists who are members of the guild. In arc 10, he is mostly tangential to the larger plot but has a moment of significance and some seed-sowing for what comes next.
As it turns out, Xylem has a very close relationship with someone—the guild leader's daughter, Lilith. When he first joined, between training, he had the secondary task of looking after Lilith and her twin Kassandra, who were 7 at the time. It was a combination of "make sure they don't get murdered" and "make sure they don't bother me about stupid things like being hungry."
And then the rest of the arc is basically just me following this guy around and planting death flags behind him with every step he takes.
I mean, think of it like this.
He's a complicated antagonist with the potential to be redeemed (and "redemption = death")
He just spent the entire tenth arc showing that he has had some level of development since the first arc and even aids the arc protagonist with their escape, showing that he is gradually becoming a better person
He expresses the idea that he feels his life is already over, even way back when he first shows up, meaning that his death could be spun into a satisfying end for his character because he's already accepted it
He's now established as having an incredibly close relationship with one of the main characters, Lilith, and her whole deal is refusing to accept that she's someone who needs help, so killing Xylem would be an easy way to spin this into some kind of "you never know how much you need someone until they're gone" thing
He's a mentor figure to her and mentors fucking Always die
He won't stop talking about things as if he's constantly anticipating his own death, like regretting how he spent the time he had with Lilith when for all he knows they could have the next 30 years together
He. Says. With his mouth. "I'm very good at dying and tired of deciding not to."
And then. You'll never guess what he does.
He doesn't fucking die.
I don't even bother with a fakeout death. It's possible to misread what happens to him as a fakeout death, but I'm not trying to mislead the audience into thinking what just happened will actually kill him. To summarize, he ambushes someone while they're making an attempt on Lilith's life and chases them down to kill them because they know Lilith is trying to defect from the guild and are guaranteed to use that knowledge against her. During this encounter, he makes a very minor error and gets run through, severing his spinal cord. Then he gets stabbed a few more times, but it's fine. Not medically, I mean, but it's fine, he's just bleeding a lot and can't use his lower body. This sad little man not only makes it out of the guild alive, but he survives an arc so clearly trying to set him up for a tragic antihero's death.
And then he just lives his life. He gets a wheelchair and an old friend to assist him whenever he needs it, and then he gets a job at the library he frequents, and then his old friend becomes his boyfriend. The stark contrast between him in the guild and him the second he's out is almost jarring. He has always, at heart, been a poet, an artist, and an optimist, but he never had an opportunity to actually be any of those things in the guild. The second he's out and he realizes that he has a life of his own now, he almost immediately starts thriving.
In other words. Uh. Xylem Renfield voted no. 1 in the for the love of god get that man out of there contest.

First of all, same.
Second, every shitty character there can be redeemable, EXCEPT for JD, Kurt and Ram.
Is it because they're men? No. Because A. JD killed people and have no regrets. Sure, he's traumatized but that doesn't excuse him one bit. Kurt and Ram in both Blue and You're Welcome showcase misogyny and r*pe (for example, in You're Welcome "If you don't want me staring why you wearing that skirt").
The Heathers, hard to redeem but not irredeemable. All it takes is proper writing of character development that, takes A LONG TIME because no one changes in a jiff, a Heather³ redemption arc will be a slow burn. (Proof that they can be redeemed is all in the movie, Chandler being forced to suck this guy's d!ck when she clearly doesn't want to, Mac's almost suicide attempt and the fact that both Chandler and Mac weren't very nice to Duke that she snapped and bullied Mac)
Veronica, as we already saw, did have a bit of character development. Nicely written but not the BEST. But that proves that she can change, especially since she has hope for everyone. (Evidence: "They were just seventeen. They still had room to grow. They could have turned out good. But now we'll never know.)
The only way you can give JD a redemption if he ACTUALLY starts to regret his decisions, turn himself in and get therapy and rehabilitation. Same for Kurt and Ram.
For the Heathers, it should start with learning the value of everyone, no matter who they are. Regretting their actions, start off small by attending classes and not making fun of people, to stop being insanely rude, to complimenting (REAL compliments, no side remarks), to actually being nice, to finally apologizing to all the people they've hurt.
Veronica should apologize to Betty and Martha (because she actually hasn't, she doesn't say sorry in Seventeen Reprise), to apologizing to the people she, albeit unintentionally, ended up hurting due to her time with the Heathers.
That's how you can get these characters to be PROPERLY likable.
But in all honesty, the villain of Heathers is the School and it's staff. The ONE thing the musical got right was how the grown ups obviously don't care (Evidence: Shine a Light, the scene where Veronica accidentally tells everyone she killed Chandler, Kurt and Ram). They are growing teens who are under the wrong guidance.
Third, humanizing JD isn't necessarily bad BUT the fact that people now use that information to justify him and make him an "uwu misunderstood soft boi" is just wrong. Trauma can turn any good person into a psycho, which is JD in the musical BUT THE FACT THAT THE MUSICAL ROMANTICIZED HIM is not acceptable. I love the musical and JD and Veronica's duets but there's no hope in their romance.
In the movie, JD's mom is still very much dead BUT he and his dad have quite the okay relationship. So movie JD is worse on so many levels. The fact that they gave him an "out of love" motive is just stupid.
Fourth, the dynamic change with the Heathers and Veronica doesn't add up.
In the movie, Veronica and Chandler don't exactly get along but they seem to at least have some respect for the other. Also the scene where Ronnie looks at some pictures of her and Chan together PROVE that they were more than just associates. In the musical they fucking hated each other, and the only time they seem to respect each other are the ghost Chandler scenes (I love ghost Chandler but why is this the only time they seem to respect each other)
In the movie, Mac and Veronica had a slightly better relationship. During Mac's attempt, her asking Ronnie "Wanna cut off early? Buy some shoes or something lame like that?" Came out so naturally, meaning they were at least friendly. In the musical, they weren't friends at all until Mac's attempt.
In the movie, Duke and Veronica ARE friends, among all three Heathers, Ronnie is willing to call Duke her friend (A true friend's work is never done) and during their confrontation, Ronnie says "Why can't you just be a friend?" meaning that they ARE friends before the red scrunchie. In the musical....WHERE THE HELL IS THEIR FRIENDSHIP?!
Fifth, the only things in the musical that I prefer over the movie is ghost Chandler and the ending, not cause it's a happy ending, but because it shows that a society can actually be a decent place if it's under the right leadership.
That is all I have to say thank you.
i do think heathers the musical humanised jd a lot more, which is. a really bad message i think. like. we are not supposed to like him. and people watched the movie and said 'christian slater is hot as hell but i feel bad for thirsting after him' because. you know. terrorist.
but then after freeze your brain and the whole trauma with his dad, everyone went 'nahh jd is just misunderstoood, soft boyyy :('
like this man has killed three people and planned to blow up a school. we should not be glorifying jd. he is a horrible person. and i think the musical framing him as some kind of tragic martyr, veronica being really sad that he dies, shit like "im going steady, mostly he's awesome. if a bit too rock and roll! hehee", oh he's just a little guy!! is a dangerous mentality. i really do think heathers the musical was a really shitty adaptation and isnt faithful to the movie at all (but it still is one of my favourites because the music is just so fucking good.)
also veronica saying "ich luge bullets! you lied to me >:(" as if lying is the issue and he didnt just s h o o t t w o p eo p l e.
anyway. uh.
#heathers the movie#heathers the musical#heather chandler#heather mcnamara#heather duke#veronica sawyer#jason dean#kurt kelly#ram sweeney#obviously to avoid copyright they changed scenes and added scenes which i don't mind at all#i love ghost chandler's scenes#but to romanticize jd? to make him look like he's not a crazy psycho but a boy in love?#no#i'm aroace too hehe

and will not stop telling you them, even when they make you a bit nervous or uncomfortable
but it's biological, so you should be prepared
and he'll be there to hold your hand and comfort you
as long as you promise not to let the kid be sporty
he wants a little mini-him to play video games with
and commit arson with too
twojar
ok this is weird but he feels strangely...accomplished? proud?
this is an achievement right? it's normal to feel this good?
a whole little person who will hopefully take after him
someone to scheme with
someone to appreciate his puzzles
a little re-headed minion to come home to that will idolise him
excellent, what a statement of his manhood
plus, there's something about domesticity that might make him seem more wholesome
or at least might trick his adversaries into thinking he's weakened, giving him the perfect opening to brutalise them
young justice
huh, ok he's not as stressed as he thought he might be
but now isn't the best time
he's glad though, because he didn't know there was a right time
so the idea of doing this in the future isn't off the table
but he's so young and so...not pathetic just...
he's not strong or accomplished enough yet in his own goals
maybe in the future when he can stand up to children
then he can consider having one in his own home
dano
uh oh he's crying!
because now he has the chance to give someone the childhood he didn't get to have
he can be a good dad, a super dad
and he'll always have a friend because kids can't leave
until they can walk...but his kid will like him right?
oh the insecurities are mounting, but he's still pleased
and he can get to work right away on planning everything
how are we feeling about puzzle themed names??
telltale
he is way past dad age
if you're not his s/o he'll gladly take on the role of supportive uncle
or grandparent more like
if you are his s/o then get ready to have a serious conversation
because that little monster is not being raised by him
and if you decide to put it up for adoption
god help the poor people who raise another riddler
it really took it out of his parents
unburied
"but i'm baby"
would absolutely throw a fit
he's far too busy with his scheming and riddling to be a dad
not to mention he's not necessarily the nurturing type
unless you want to raise another little psychopath
under any other circumstances cheating would annoy him
but please god let there be a chance this baby isn't his

Cuphead season 1b (because I refuse to aknowledge it as season 2 Netflix is a greedy bastard towards animators) personal opinion (spoilers)
So I finally could find a way to watch the new episodes and could avoid all spoilers
And even if I did like it and did laugh and I did like some new stuff, details, lore, game references and characters (Ludwig is a bastard I love him) and made others more likable (Stickler was less annoying and feels like he god his revenge meaning he can be a little rebellious hehe)...
I must say I am disappointed and found it less good than season 1a
Too much more filler episodes that were not even fun unlike the ones from the first batch (the wood episode and the photography episode... wtf those were lame)
The photography episode btw. Both Mugman and Cuphead willing to keep humiliating Elder Kettle for fun and Elder Kettle trying to maim them a 2nd time. Why is everybody so mean spirited in that new batch !?
The Devil and the main story only happened 2 episodes one we had already seen on YouTube weeks ago
It FUCKING ENDS ON THAT ONE EPISODE AND ITS CLIFFHANGER NO MATTER HOW WE ALL KNOW THAT SCREENSHOT OF CUPHEAD WHO GOES DOWN THE ELEVATOR WHICH THUS WOULD BE FOR SEASON 1C WHAT A SCAM
Cuphead lost braincels and became more selfish and heartless and Mugman suffered more from him more than once (Cuphead ready to abandon him to Bon Bon ?! wtf ?!) he was straight up mean several times and literally cared about himself only except 2 or 3 times. Why nerfing him !?
I had more hope for Chalice since she did regret to let them to jail but nope she just comes back like nothing happened pretending not to know they were in jail (how can she NOT know since she knew that'd happen last time ?!) ; I know she will have a redemption arc and is now a better friend who helps but still
Minor criticism but I didn't see Bon Bon as an insane canibal, just a spoiled angry woman. I mean she was fun, but why that choice ?
Once again Kind Dice only appearing once. Cool... (THOUGHIADMITIAMVERYHAPPYHEWASSTILLINHELLANDDIDFANGIRLOVERTHATANDOVERTHEFACTHEISSTILLDEVILSNUMBERONEAAAAAA-)
I mean I am not against Cala Maria being a sadistic seductress villain but... That was just not how I pictured, I rather saw her as someone like Betty Boop or something, not someone enjoying killing. Also the more I hear it the more I hate her accent like PICK ONE she doesn't even know what accent it is I bet !
A nitpick but I never shipped her and Briney Beard soooooooo the fact it more or less became semi canon did not thrill me (nor Cala Maria X Mugman and seeing him crush on her is both funny but also I wish it won't stay too much especially since she fucking tried to eat you boy)
So are they kids, teens or adults ?! They fucking grow beards ! I'm confused what to HC now
Yeah so... I just wish season 1C will have better pacing, will know how to depict Cuphead and balance out his good heart and stupidity again and will calm down with the filler episodes. And I also wish it will come soon. And that animators will finally get their respect and get a REAL season 2

17, 24, & 46 with literally any character of your choosing :)
Oh, this should be fun.
17. Tell me about your least favorite editorial decision?
(Amazing Spider-Man #545)
At the risk of being the most predictable Spidey fan ever, I'm gonna say... One More Day. Am I sad about the PeterMJ marriage being over? Yes. Do I think it was stupid? Yes! BUT the main reason I don't like OMD is because of the massive step backwards it took Peter's character. Like the difference in his how character is written even just in the main story of Amazing Spider-Man #545 vs the very end is stunning. The implication is that Peter is kind of a huge loser when he's not married, which I don't think should be true, but the writers have largely MADE that true.
The way OMD is written is that Peter and MJ are making this huge sacrifice, and it's built on further in One Moment in Time (though, not very well, in my opinion), and it's very sweet and sexy and it seems like they are still red-string-of-fate lovers etc etc and YET. And yet. With only a few exceptions, Peter continues to slip backwards in his development. And I hate it.
24. Ship(s) that makes you cringe.
I'm gonna say this probably is referring to canon ships? I already talked about Carlie once so, I'm gonna leave her alone, so let me move on and say... okay, don't hurt me for this, but Simon Williams/Wanda Maximoff kinda makes me cringe. I don't hate it hate it, it's not like the WOOOORST ever but it's mostly the fact that Simon is basically Vision's brother is a little uuuhhh awkward? And there's also the whole like... having the same brainwaves thing...
Don't get me wrong, they've had some cute moments! Like this one from Scarlet Witch always makes me laugh:
(Scarlet Witch, 1994)
But honestly I think they are better as friends. And also Simon is very gay-coded (to me, at least) so, yeah. Love them as friends! They need to stop being pushed as lovers. Bring back Jericho!
Another ship that makes me cringe is especially early Kitty/Piotr but I don't think that one needs too much explanation. :/
46. I wish they killed off ___ instead of [x].
Admittedly, I JUST read Kindred so it's fresh in my mind, but I 100% wish they killed off Norman Osborn instead of Harry. Harry's death in Spectacular Spider-Man #200 was perfect. But you know what? His resurrection, which was a joint effort to establish canon about by Dan Slott and J.M. DeMatteis, was also pretty damn great!
(Amazing Spider-Man Family #4)
Harry was in the middle of trying to rebuild stuff with his life! Even during the Slott run he was trying to repair his relationship with Normie (do not talk to me about him and Liz getting back together) and he was moving on from what Norman had put him through, frankly I wish he had kept the Lyman name (minus all the stuff with his mom being not-dead).. like.. he was in the middle of so much potential development and they killed him so, what, so Norman fucking Osborn can get a redemption arc? Bullshit. BULLSHIT.
Norman has outlived his usefulness in Spidey comics. I wish he would've fucking died. And that Harry's characterization hadn't been murdered right before the character himself was.
Ask me salty comics questions!
