I feel like all I’ve been doing today was fawn over KK and how adorable he is. Like the whole KK nickname, his dog phobia even though he can understand them, him being scared when falling, him humming as a habit, how he does his best to help people but especially kids, him talking like he’s doing all the work but Akito is like ‘??? I did everything?’, and then the implications later on of him and Akito actually tapping each other in and out of control of the body. Like that’s a man right there that I want Akito to make fun of his childish side and slobby side. Akito is so right when he said that it’s funny to watch KK struggle. I like seeing all his reactions when Akito talks back. I’m holding a couple of my irl friends hostage and forcing them to play some Ghostwire instead of Baldurs gate atm so I can rant about my obsession to them lol

My favorite interaction, at least so far, is in the school when you find the art room and Akito’s like I bet you don’t like art, and KK goes I dunno I think I’m pretty good at drawing, and Akito’s voice raises like two octaves when he goes really?????? And you just know he’s thinking about KK’s shitty fucking stick figure drawings in some of his case notes 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love their dynamic and the nuance to their characters so much, cuz like Akito seems so sweet and cute and innocent but he’s SUCH a little shit, and KK seems like a dick with his gruff, hard boiled, devil may care attitude but he’s actually so soft and earnest. I adore them 😭😭😭

before i go to sleep need to talk about how insane the viktor as the mage that saved jayce as a child reveal was. at first i didn't really like it but it only makes sense. the mage was a perfect, benevolent, idealized version of the arcane. jayce spent his Whole damn life striving towards that mage, trying to recreate his talents and recreate his gift because he was so grateful for everything he did for him. and his whole dream for this began to revolve around viktor. his dream of hextech, his dream of magic. because it was always about viktor. because in the end he didn't want to give magic to the people, he just wanted his partner back. it was never about the arcane, not really. it was just about viktor. it was affection keeping them together. not to mention how viktor strays so drastically from this beautiful and altruistic version of magic as he gets obsessed with perfection and corrupted by the hexcore, and jayce is literally the only thing in any universe that can remind him what they were fighting for, not by bringing up anything to do with the arcane at all, but by talking about viktor himself; how he's beautiful, how he's perfect. by giving him back the stone that started his whole journey, and letting it end their journey together. like an exchanging of vows. because it was always about viktor. and the hextech doesn't matter as long as he has viktor, his motivation and energy and literal source of life for as long as he can remember. they saved each other's lives, more than once. to jayce, viktor is perfect and has always been perfect and always will be perfect. because they're literally soulmates i need to sit down

The way you draw Huzzle Mug so expressive is great. I love when you draw it using its hands very expressively and being quite emotional <3

Thank you! I very much Love drawing and pushing expressions for Huzzle Mug! It is a fun design to play with expressions wise since in game it is already super expressive :) I very much see Huzzle mug as a side on the same coin as Bauhauzzo- easily lost in its own emotions and lets them potentially dictate it's actions- after all it believed Bauhauzzo actually willingly betrayed it and no longer was its friend in game after his "BETRAEULTRY!!" . They both rely heavily on the other god to ground them emotionally and function without getting lost in the waves of their emotions.

Bauhauzzo calms Huzzle when it gets worked up, and Huzzle brightens Bauhauzzo up so he doesn't lose himself in the past and can look to the future.

do you ever think about the fact that essek is probably a million times nicer to verin now than he ever was before?? and that verin, for the first time, gets the really meet his brother???

do you think about the fact that the cold mantle of the shadowhand is gone and withered, replaced by the warmth of the nein and caleb's love, and verin, for the first time in his life, gets to have a real relationship with his big brother that's not a facsimile of den politics or social standards??

the scene where verin and essek (in disguise) meet with vox machina is SO important, because essek--the former shadowhand to the bright queen, traitor to the entire dynasty, fugitive to two nations--smacks his brother on the arm and chides him for being embarrassing in front of people of high station. he doesn't try to hide himself AT ALL. he's just... open. warm. at peace.

there's no more cold smiles, there's no more polite aloofness, no more haughty attitude or snide remarks... essek's just a big brother again. a big brother whose little brother came to work with him one day, walked up to the president of the country and asked her to sign his pamphlet with a shit-eating grin, while essek tried not to burst a blood vessel in the corner.

no matter what verin's opinions are on the dynasty and the beacons and essek's crimes, i'm willing to bet that there was a part of him that wouldn't have changed a goddamn thing. because without essek having stolen the beacons and handing them over to the empire, and without him meeting the nein, verin would've never gotten the chance to have his brother back.

while most ppl think that techno is the more chaotic part of emduo, i think it’s worth mentioning that both in the antarctic empire and in the dsmp phil pushed and advocated for violence at the drop of a dime.

caitlyn is sososo interesting this season because yes she’s the most open and vulnerable with vi, but even in their scenes together, you can see cait choosing her facial expressions. and even in the kiss scene it’s all focused on vi. we don’t see cait for the majority of it, and we don’t see her face when they kiss. when we DO see her face in that scene, it’s uncharacteristically lacking in emotion! it’s intense, and while you can tell this moment means something to her, she’s not being herself. she’s hiding. and she’s been doing that all season with everyone.

i think the subconscious reason cait kissed vi when she did was that she knew they were in conflict and wanted to kiss her before they fell out, instead of actually dealing with the problem. that moment just feels like resignation from her. (AND i think vi looked so confused at caitlyn’s affection because she couldn’t tell what was going through her head.)
