One thing I really love but that really kills me about the murderous rampage sequence is that I have litteraly so many questions about it that will go unanswered. Like I get that's the whole point but where was Mrs. Eom while the boys massacred Jongwoo and his friend? Was Moonjo just cheering in the background while Jongwoo got rid of the other residents? Where were the others while Jongwoo killed them one by one, like were Mrs. Eom and the twin just taking a nap before getting killed? I like to imagine that during each murder, the people that aren't getting killed are in a room playing red light green light or something

killer would have no disregard for what he bets. he plays unpredictably and sneakily. probably faking some emotion here and there to get the hasty (horror) confused and concerned about what he could do and then it turns out killer had a fucking ass hand yet he won??? BULLSHIT horror cries out!!!! but dust just picks up the cards on the ground and deals them again and they play another round. sometimes killer purposely loses. why? he dont know its just to throw a wild card into dust and horror's predictions and mayhaps for the reactions

dust is a dirty player he is a fucking CHEATER‼️‼️‼️ phantom paps are his eyes that he uses to spy on killer and horror's hands. would he need to even try anymore at that point when he could easily win every round? well yes because that wouldn't be a fun game and dust wants to have as much fun as he can in this game of lies. he pretends he doesn't know what horror and killer's hands are. they both know. theyre both more than aware of dust's cheating. and that's why their betting starts going against him specifically and then dust has to figure out how to bet them higher while also trying not to fuck himself over

horror's main thing is just to not get fucked over. goddamnit why did he agree to this he's not as open to getting hurt than dust or killer are!!! (but you still agreed anyways?) so he thinks he's the only one to have a real reason to win (because horror no wanna get hurty hurty owww owww painpainpain ouch!!!) maybe he gets too cocky and ends up betting too high because dust or killer had been losing and he wanted to take a chance. maybe that high bet was actually what got him to win?? it's all a game of chance of course and horror'll only show what he thinks after the round's done. when the cards are dealt and the stakes are up he'll just analyze the hell out of the two (don't YOU hate being analyzed??) and tap his fingers on the table over and over

their way of betting would be like: the winner gets to do whatever the other two said as their bets to the betters. like if dust loses and horror wins and he said he could get sucker punched horror is sucker punching the FUCK out of him. but these three argue they fight and bicker and throw gibes and taunts!!! how would they ever agree on what bets are higher and which are lower ⁉️⁉️⁉️ to horror a bet of saying that he'd have to eat something could be like straight hell to him but killer and dust could just put the argument that it doesn't REALLY mean that much (they know it does to horror) and then force him to bet higher because cmon coward you can do better than that!!! dont you want to get some sort of revenge on us if you lose a previous round and win this one??? and other forms of logic like that 4 dust and killer

killer starts off with an absurdly high bet (because he would) like getting to mess with his soul or something. is he sure that dust and horror have losing hands? he doesn't know. and because killer has no form of limit for himself and that's already a high bar to set for dust and horror to reach (if they don't have good hands i think they'd probably want killer to bet lower. but would they tell him??) so damn it horror has to pull out some bullshit fucking bet like he'll allow himself to get hunted down by the two with every trap he's ever set on a human in horrortale (sooo much more psychological thinking and trickery going on without betting money and instead scenarios its SO FUN). and then could dust fold? does phantom paps say he should? it depends on the cards dust has (and what if he doesn't believe paps based on his own assumptions? (paranoid bitch)) and if he can't fold he has to match the bet or go higher and then he comes up with some bogus situation like ok i'll let you guys dress me up in my human's clothes and throw me in an au and have to do what they did (and OH GOD what about if they make a bet that the other 2 wouldn't actually want to do if they win??? if killer won that round with that as dust's bet would he want someone to reenact something similar to what his own human did and have to watch??????)

oops they just got another new set of scars from last week's poker night and another layer of trauma but why the hell are they sitting down at the table again??? idk man i'm just the dealer here trying not to get killed

It’s been said before and the fact that I’m an Izzy simp aside like having a character who survives the most certain death shit ever (shooting himself in the head at point blank) and literally being nicknamed by another character “indestructible” and then become a symbol of protection for a whole group of people die from a fucking bullet to the side that was established in universe to have no vital organs in order to “atone for his sins” or however you wanna spin it and have him say he wants to go after (see point one) literally trying to kill himself in the show that is literally about growth and betterment of the self in a cruel world that wants you dead and where the main (and mostly queer) characters survive the most batshit insane injuries is like COSMICALLY stupid writing like I don’t even understand how you get there and the fact that it’s supposed to be a kind/ happy/meaningful ending is beyond me

What I would love to get from Marvel would be a 5 issue mini series for Rogue & Mystique.

I don't have a specific plot in mind, but the general idea would be that Mystique does a thing and Rogue reluctantly joins her.

Raven deals in information, she knows things, she has spy-experience and she has been made aware of something bad happening. It's not world-ending or universe-altering. It doesn't even have to be specifically anti-mutant. It can be some mostly white collar crime that would lead to a lot people suffering, noticeably mutants though. It could also be a political move with lots of backroom whispers, some long con for legislation that in the end would be easily turned into something anti-mutant (that looks appealing at first with a "what harm could possibly come from this"). But that demands a lot of complicated or convuluted explanations. And truth is the plot only needs to make a bare minimum of sense, because the heart of the story is the personal relationship.

The important part would be the outcome of it all. It has to be somewhat time sensitive. The proper channels or any news campaign would take too long. There is no threat to punch outright, Mystique is following a trail and infiltration works best. But well Raven is gonna be Raven and she doesn't care about breaking rules and using unethical means. So at first it looks like Mystique did a typical Mystique-thing and oh look, someone was hurt. Rogue can have a dramatic sigh about it, tells her fur babies to look after Gambit and goes after her.

The first important emotional beat is how the reader already knows more than Rogue and can see how Mystique lets her believe this is all a villain plot at first. If others see her as the bad guy? So be it. Don't care. But Rogue realizes something is up and she does give Mystique the benefit of the doubt (obligatory dead-pan about how this has not turned out well in the past). This comes full circle in the end though. When the threat is neutralized, there is some rumble, there needs to be a scapegoat or baddie for the public news and oh look, it will seem like terrorist Mystique did a bad thing. The truth is buried. But Rogue will know. And she can see that Mystique takes on this position, because this is the optimal outcome.

[Yeah, sorry, this is why I don't write things. There needs to be an actual somewhat political plot happening. Can be flimsy, but making enough sense. And I don't know any details for this.]

Something I need desperately is that every issue uses at least one of Mystique's identities. They need to be mentioned, at least one used to get her access somewhere. We need to revive the running gag of Mystique having more jobs than Barbie. Number one on this list, bring back top model Ronnie Lake. But for the lols, her old credentials from the Daily Bugle still work. Stuff like that. I am a fan of the times when the very many personas Raven has portrayed backfire in a way that she loses her own self. Make this part of the fun, but also the drama.

Also I demand at least one flashback to Brotherhood of Evil Mutants times. A hilarious crime they did together. It is absolutely allowed to tonally clash with the rest, it should read a bit like a relic from a different era. Otherwise flashbacks are important, to either give a commentary on scenes that have happened within the comics or to make this a complicated emotional mess, because they both remember happy family times. Because yes, those do exist. But also maybe I just want to pinpoint when it all went south. When Mystique stabbed Rogue during the Dream's End crossover.

Yeah, Rogue got to stab her back, but up until here, there was always a connection despite being on opposite sides. Still, despite how cartoonishly evil Mystique was in that storyline, this is a thing that did happen. And I would be here for a lightly comical talk about it. (This is much worse than when Mystique shot Rogue, that actually helped save her life in the end, so...)

On the flipside, while Mystique uses her curated list of personalities, Rogue gets to call up her new hero buddies, non-X-Men edition. Most of all I want her to hit up Johnny Storm, because they were so close as Avengers, it's hilarious. And then she introduces Mystique in her alias. (We should not involve Dazzler, that is a bridge too far; also leave Carol out of this, it's for the best. Nobody wants to remember Michael Barnett ever existed.) This is also where Mystique takes a look at the people in Rogue's life and she will opinions on who she would accept as her son- or daughter-in-law more instead of Gambit. The pay-off by the end has to be that Mystique says something very nice about him though and then threatens to kill Rogue if she ever tells him. Very important.
