“Technical” meaning in s5 they will start to delve into the mythology of the series.

> “It won’t… open”, “Just give it a push. You get everything you’ve ever wanted and you’re going to let a door stop you? There you go. Put some muscle into it.” (clearly subtext about coming out and first sexual experience from a bottom’s perspective).

Dustin is Jonathan in s5 when he realizes Will is being manipulated/ coerced by some guy.

The alarmed/ surprised turtle on the right is Lucas.

Raph (on the left) is Mike— he’s PISSED. Jealous Mike absolutely CONFIRMED.

> “Most importantly… why does Stockman want to open a gate, and why do they need him hooked up to that machine, too?” Lucas is absolutely shocked that the top (it’s his former basketball teammate Chance) is into guys and that Will, of all people, would be into Chance.

> “Donny, relax. I wasn’t talking about rescuing the girl”. This is the writers telling us this is all a metaphor and they’re not talking about Eleven, but Byler. They even make a point of showing us a bunch of Byler and Mike-coded stuff in the next image: two crossed swords, a walkie-talkie, Mike’s backpack and a huge phallic object…

> Mike makes use of his coding/ programming skills (Alan Turing reference).

> “Well, the two of them are definitely linked”. Mike and Chance are linked in some way.

> “Wait, so this whole thing is designed to create a big illusion? To feed Eleven a lie?” The writers referring to their gigantic five season long straightbait but also, manifestation theory IKTR.

> “Only those inside can shut down the projection”. Like I suspected, the scientists fucked up and Brenner as the lab leader was probably the one who made this decision of ‘trapping’ everyone in the simulation. Also subtext for “only those in Will’s trust and heart can shut down his illusion” aka Mike.

> Nice reference to The Cabin in the Woods movie there in the first pic (heavily recommend).

> Mike doesn’t even ask anyone and just brutally storms in to interrupt whatever Will and Chance are doing.

> We could even infer that his extreme jealousy straight up brutally OUTS Mike, not only to the audience, but maybe also to other characters. He unintentionally crashes down his own closet…

> “That’s not your friend.” Mike telling Will this about Chance.

> The background changes to orange as the villain (Chance) loses his disguise/ farce.

> “Fine, I’ll gladly stop pretending to be this buffoon.” Chance stops pretending to be nice and/or is revealed to be a Vecna/ Mindflayer trap.

Note: Chance is heavily associated with orange even in the show, because of being a Tiger in the basketball team.

TAKEAWAY:

Unfortunately, I think at some point in s5— besides the supernatural plotline— we are about to witness Will delve into real unhealthy coping mechanisms (prematurity, hypersexuality, low self-worth and/or drugs) and reliving the trauma with his father (attraction to unhealthy people, as Chance will remind Will of a mix of both Mike and Lonnie).

These are extremely common results of CSA in many people.

Jonathan, Lucas and especially Mike will save him.

Me hoping the Mike manifestation and possessiongate theories are true, because than we'd get a scene like this:

everything about Eleven as a character is highly sus to me which is why I believe that Will manifested her. we don’t know anything about her parents; how do we actually know that Terry is her mom? we see Terry briefly and then never again; Terry and the aunt seem to exist in this bubble that isn’t part of the rest of the reality the show is set in. also, El’s random memories of being literally birthed? wtf? that is insanely weird and I’ve always thought so. who the hell remembers the moment they were born? ummm, no one! we also know nothing of the other numbers btw. we met #8 randomly and then never saw her again, it was like that entire episode was again in some strange bubble that didn’t exist in the canon reality. all the lab kids also seem far more… idk, adjusted than El and it’s extremely weird and sus to me bc why can they all speak full sentences and whatnot while El is literally depicted as being like a new born in s1, so much to the point that Lucas compares her to Holly who was like 4 at the time.

idk, it’s all highly sus to me. El’s recollection of memories are bizarre and make no sense. the fact that she has things Will wants as well, like being romantically involved with Mike, like having Hopper as a father figure while Will’s father is a piece of shit etc etc etc…. then you have the Neverending Story parallels and the fact they continuously keep referencing that song and even made Will sing it solo. and the visual parallels between El and Will. the fact that the second he goes missing, she just so happens to pop up in the exact place Mike was looking for him. the fact that once Will is reunited with them, she is the one to disappear. the fact they even went out of their way to make them step siblings to really hammer in the fact that they are extremely similar visually and narratively. the fact that Hopper was hunting Will in s1 but he was really chasing El the whole time…

How To Make A Delulu Cocktail™️

Hi. Hey. How are you?

Beautiful as always, I know—no need to rub it in.

Anyways, today, I'm gonna teach you how to make a Delusional Cocktail™️.

Now, I know what you're saying in your head: Babe, what the fuck is a Delusional Cocktail™️?

And to that I say that first I'm gonna need you to lose the attitude because I'm about to change your life and also that a Delusional Cocktail is actually really simple to make.

To start, you're gonna need to gather three simple ingredients: the realization that nothing really matters, unbotheredness, and inspiration.

Personally, I got my realization and unbotheredness from the Trauma Department Store which is a bit pricier and time-consuming considering the therapy and additional work that you have to do to keep your unbotheredness from turning into emotional numbness and spoiling your cocktail but luckily there are healthier (and cheaper) ways in order to obtain these two ingredients.

I recommend just doing things.

Like, going places by yourself, starting something that you're gonna be bad at in the beginning, or just doing something that you are normally afraid/bad at doing. This will allow you to see that no one really cares about you the way that you think that you do. And I feel as though that is essential to manifesting because I think that oftentimes, we're so caught up in other people's perception of us that we allow their opinions to saturate our minds and steer us off of our paths.

Similarly, these experiences will also help you to see that LIFE IS FUCKING ROUGH. Firstly, everybody's just trying to survive and make the best of what they can. Why shouldn't you manifest? Why should you feel guilty about manifesting insane wealth or the perfect partner or body? You work so fucking hard and do all these things when we were really just meant to sleep, eat, and live. Don't you think that alone entitles you to the right to at least be a little bit delusional?

Moving on to the third ingredient: Inspiration.

This one is always fun and simple because inspiration can mean anything from creating a Pinterest board to find two people online whose lifestyles you really admire and just saying, "If it can happen to them then it can happen to me to."

There is no limit to the amount of inspiration that you can add into this cocktail. Inspiration is unique to each individual, just as how everybody has different flavors that they prefer. And hey, if you like to mix and match flavors then be my guest.

I would just gently recommend that you take time picking out your flavors to develop a style/vision that you love rather than something that someone else says is good for you because it works for them.

My inspirations are my two Pinterest boards and two influencers whose lifestyles I really connect with.

So, now that you have your three ingredients, it's time to mix them up. You can do it anyway that you'd like but I think that it's always best to make sure that your unbotheredness and realization that nothing really matters is greater than your inspiration. Because truthfully, you could wake up in that person's shoes tomorrow but if you don't have the mindset necessary to live and maintain that lifestyle, you can very well lose it all.

But again, to each their own.

Once you mix it up, you should have something like this:

reflections on manifestation frustration

hello all :) so this is my first text post, i felt very compelled to share a few messages from my journal this morning. just some things to do with struggling with manifestation frustration and some observations to help those who are struggling to remain hopeful and confident!

✎ impatience

the best comparison, imo, to manifestation is like ordering something offline. you picked it, you 'bought' it and now you must simply wait for it. this waiting can be especially frustrating if you order something from overseas, but i feel like this analogy fits best because you know it's coming eventually and it gives you this room to still live in the moment while you understand that its coming.

✎ lack of confidence

if anyone deserves this, it's you babe, believe that. not only have you brought yourself this far to accept that you can have it, but you know within that it can only materialize if you continue to trust that feeling. after all, why wouldn't you have what makes you happy? trick question, there is no reason!

✎ bleak present reality

because your shipment is already on its way, think about your present reality as that waiting period before you receive your desire. your present reality may feel like a deep energy of lack right now but understand that the state you imagine yourself in while having it and the state of your present reality is synonymous. your desire is as real as your current reality and knowing this creates a protective and assured energy from spiral-prone doubts/beliefs.

✎ reflection on past successful 'deliveries'

i'm almost sure everyone has experienced wanting something and kind of subconsciously end up receiving it through whatever circumstance. times like that i believe are examples of our natural ability to attract what we want into our lives without constantly applied efforts, either. stress can be a huge part of manifestation frustration, but reflecting on these easy times of natural magnetism to the things that belong to you can remind you that you already have it.

tbh i was actually struggling with this before journaling and this is just what i remind myself when i have times like this, bc i'm ngl i cried with frustration earlier but it's about picking yourself back up and knowing that your confidence is bigger than any other energy that could rob you!

I decided to open this blog because I love to manifest. It makes me feel grateful for what I have and for what I could have in the future. I've been exploring various methods to shift, and I thought, why not share them with others? (Plus, I might sprinkle in a little witchcraft here and there that helps with manifestation.)

With so many methods out there today, I realized it would be helpful to have a blog that explains them in a clear and concise way—without the overstimulation of a 6-second video.

So I know we collectively hate time reset/dimension wipe theories about S5, but.....maybe it does need to happen?

Assuming the last couple seasons of ST weren't some elaborate manifestation by Mike to deal with the trauma of losing Will, there are some problems that seem like they can't be fixed without some kind of a reset.

El. Just El in general. Owens was able to give her a fresh start, a new name and a chance at being "normal", However, too many people know about her telekinetic abilities and the ability to open and close gates to the Upside Down. I think she would be in danger of being kidnapped and studied/used as a weapon forever. She can't just kill off/destroy the entire U.S. government (if only), so her file will probably be available for years and even if not, enough people know about her existence that bad actors could target her.

Now that the UD is merging with the RU, will it be contained to Hawkins? Will it spread throughout the country? The world? Even if it is all a hive mind, if they killed Vecna and somehow closed all the gates (it exhausts El to even close one) , would those spores or whatever still be floating around and infecting things in the RU? How could they ever get rid of all of it or ensure that it was all contained in the UD?

As long as both the UD and El exist, even if Vecna is defeated, scientists/governments will always track her because trhey will want to know more about/study/find lucrative applications for the UD. They would still want to use El or use her to find their own way to open gates.

If all this is true and Will/El/the Party need to destroy the UD to make sure no one ever crosses over again, is that really fair? Even if Vecna harnessed the dark particles and created dangerous monsters out for blood, it is hinted that the UD is not inherently malicious. Sure, the Party want to kill Vecna, but if he's gone and the creatures are just minding their own business, would they be fine with destroying it?

And even if they wanted to, could they? How? If it turns out we're right about Will having powers, how would he use them to destroy the Upside Down? I highly doubt his powers would be like El's or involve gates. If he had some kind of creation powers, would he just recreate the UD with glowy light particles and make it beautiful? But even if he did this, wouldn't scientists still want to find a way inside to study it with El"s gate-opening powers?

On the other hand if he (or someone else) has some kind of time powers,, when would they reset it back to? Or what would they go back in time to change? Is there something out of space and time that doesn't belong? (Somehow I am reminded of El saying she doesn't belong anywhere).

If Will or someone else wiped out the dimension that contains the UD (or banished it to another dimension), MKUltra would still have been doing their telekinetic children experiments, right? And if they went back in time, how far back would they have had to go? Back before Henry was taken to Brenner? Would El have been created at all if her mother wasn't part of the MKultra experiments?

Bonus thoughts about a reset: we know how much the Duffers love The Neverending Story. Spoilers for Neverending Story after the cut:

At the end of the Neverending Story movie, Fantasia (the world of fantasies and dreams a bowlcut kid has been reading about in his book) is destroyed by the manifestation of emptiness that is the Nothing. Bastian ({the bowlcut kid) realizes he has the power to make Fantasia (the world of his fantasies) anything he dreams.

After he takes ownership of his role as master of this reality (by giving rhe Childlike Empress a new name 🤔), the entire world of Fantasia is wiped out and it's just Bastian and the Empress together in a black void. All that remains is one grain of sand (a glowing particle, if you will).

The Empress hands the particle to Bastian and tells him his wishes will recreate Fantasia. He recreates it the way he imagined it, and notably brings back all the people who died as a result of the Nothing.

Even more tellingly, he exclaims:

"It's like the Nothing never was!!"
