Wow...I seriously never posted this??? Man I thought I did, how bizarre.

Anyway I drafted up lore dumps for both Peaches and Mandy, for my Odd Squad x MLP crossover series The Adventures of Peaches and Mandy (abbreviated as TAoPaM). Working on other lore dumps for other characters as well, but these two are my pride-n-joy OCs and I love them to bits.

Miss Spider doodles and humanized spiderwoman cosplay fun. One of the most underrated tsundres in animation ever. OG hipsters (beatniks) are where it's at.

The fact that Susan Sarandon is supportive of Palestine while also willing to take back a comment that could be antisemitic is really cool of her.

As for the cosplays, I mostly just felt indulgent and also I should look up Miss Spider's Sunnypatch kids sometime. I like how that show had a main character for young children who was also a mother and a larger woman.

Tips for caregivers of punk/scene littles

This is probably my longest winded post..and the most self indulgent lol.. Here's just some of my personal snip-bits on being an alternative regressor. I hope this can help someone out or at least be entertaining for those who are alt regressors too ^^

Find stim toys that are otherwise "unconventional" or aren't labeled as stim toys ! - This might be a stretch,, and can honestly work for anyone looking for something to stim with. I love my chain necklace and I wear it everywhere I go! Its got a ring and 2 chains that I like to play with,, the texture of the metal is also nice in my hands and has a good weight around my neck. Sensory pressure is my favorite stim ! Skull necklace Moon phases Pride flags O-Ring necklace (mine!) Playing with piercings can also be a stim but ! be careful that jewelry is cleaned and fresh piercings are healed ! Its ok to allow your little to wear corsets, fishnets and tight clothing! It can be a great way to provide pressure therapy, or a stim in public or on the go~ Never force your regressor to stop watching shows/movies or listening to certain music while they're regressed. Sometimes horror movies, and loud noises can be comforting! * Talk with your little while they're big about this! There may be certain horror topics to avoid when they're regressed ! ... Some resources / things that I find helpful as an alt cg!

Tumblr Trios Tournament: Second Edition

It's happening, folks! The second Trios Tournament! I did this before but have decided to do it again to have new trios and give it a second shot. So let's just get to our first fights and show off who's here! I don't know why bro's surprised here. In the beginning, he got help from one agent and one agent only. Not a whole mass of them. Not anyone like, say, the Mobile Unit, which has four agents but still. No, no, he got only one. How did he think that would impact this precinct having less than 100 agents in any capacity? Going by that one OddTube Season 2 video (and don't ask me which, my mind is blanking), I'd think 100 agents is a base standard, a minimum number!

Though I can appreciate the parallels with Orli being the only employee in Niagara Falls bar her Director.

If 100+ agents can't solve all that oddness in "Odd Ones In", that's either a failing on the Academy's part or a massively-shared skill issue.

Coming from Orli, "we're in a hurry" sounds less like "we have to find what floor they're going to" and "we only got 7 minutes of episode left".

Clearly Ozzie didn't get the same training from the previous Director that Olive did, and really, if he had, it would have taken away so much hassle.

Running through five bosses in the span of a very short time, though, because of these three, is fucking insane. Again, we've seen that Directors can be meticulous about choosing their successors, which these four...weren't. Ozzie, at least, is somewhat justified because he likes helping people and he's got drive, so whoever his previous boss was made a fairly good choice in selecting him as a successor. But being a Director means that you really shouldn't quit because of a few bad apples in your employee base. Not many bosses in real life quit because of a few employees; most deal with the problem (in this case, perhaps by firing them) and remain in their position of power.

And speaking of, I hope this story ends with Ozzie firing their asses and yo'ing them out onto the streets. Make it be realistic, please.

It's been awhile since I've drawn fan art!! I need to do that more often. I sometimes forget how fun it was. Here have a Black Hat and Mandy... Because I've been daydreaming about if they ever meet

So I do not know about the rest of you but I am actually excited for the live action Powerpuff Girls show, now titled Powerpuff. I know live action takes on cartoons can be hit or miss, leaning strongly into the latter, but I like what I’m seeing so far. The casting is looking good (Chloe Bennet as Blossom, Dove Cameron as Bubbles, Turk from Scrubs actor as Professor Utonium, etc.) The series is going to take a deconstructionist direction and that’s always fun. They’re bringing Tom Kenney back to be the Narrator again. There are even rumors that it could crossover with the Arrowverse shows which would blow people’s minds. And it’s being headed up by Mr. Greg Berlanti, who seems to be the CW’s golden boy and definitely knows how to handle superhero material. 

With all of that I have some theories about the show.  

The first is that the show is described as a sequel to the original cartoon (the one in the late 90′s not the reboot one for any nitpickers). My idea is that the original cartoon that grown fans would be familiar with will in fact be an actual show within the show. It could be a more sanitized version of what actually happened instead of really happened, which would keep in line with the deconstruction route the show is taking. 

The second and biggest one for me is that the show could do with the Cartoon Cartoons of the 90′s and early 2000′s what the Ducktales reboot did with the Disney Afternoon, only in live action. Yes I theorize that Powerpuff could give us an entire Cartoon Cartoon universe... in live action. It would be amazing to see this! And of course it would also be highly unique with the shows deconstruction approach. 

Just imagine catching up with a now grown up Dexter. How would a scientific prodigy handle the adult world now that he’s grown up? And what became of Dee Dee? 

Maybe we could visit Peach Creek and see how the Eds are doing in their adult lives. Did the happy ending in their movie stay with them or have they reverted to their scamming form in adulthood? 

Maybe we could finally see the arrival of Galactic Kids Next Door in some form. After all we know the kids do eventually grow up so we could definitely get some mileage out having them grow up and see how they handle adulthood. Or we could possibly make the Galactic Kids Next Door stuff an ongoing seasonal plot. 

And that’s just the beginning of everything they could with this concept. Did Grim find a way to finally escape Billy and Mandy or is he still their best friend for life? Did Jack stay ageless and is now walking the modern era? Does Johnny Bravo still think he’s the best thing since sliced bread? Is Courage still defending his home in the middle of nowhere? There is just so much that could be done with this idea. 

Now I will say that if this does happen I don’t expect any Cartoon Network properties from Adventure Time on to appear. I feel that these would be too recent to include, especially given how well the most praised ones ended. Steven Universe, Ok K.O., Regular Show, these all ended in such well done ways that bringing them back, in a live action format to boot, may not be the best idea. I love me my crossovers but I still feel that these need a little more time before reappearing in televised media. I’m perfectly fine with a movie or comic book returns but this would be a lot more difficult to pull off for the creators I think. 

By contrast I would love it if this idea went so far as to include Hanna-Barbera characters. That studio was still swinging up to the mid-90′s, it gave us Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo and of course the Powerpuff Girls; and all of those properties are owned by Warner Bros. so no problems including them. Just imagine it. Live action takes on Space Ghost, Birdman, Jonny Quest, the Blue Falcon, the list just goes on and on. Especially with the deconstruction route applied to them. Just look at what Venture Bros. did with that for Jonny Quest staples. 

I’m probably getting way ahead of myself but there has always been a rivalry between Disney and Warner and the best way to one up a cohesive interconnected universe based on the Disney Afternoon would be to craft one based on the Cartoon Cartoon lineup, only in live action.
