Was forced to watch a truly incredible (derogatory) thing recently.
A young person on twitter, adamant that transandrophobia doesn't exist on the grounds that 'no one is killing/raping/assaulting trans men'.
Several people responded, including some linking articles about murders and assaults on trans men and a couple op-ed style pieces of trans men talking about their own experiences.
Said young person responded with "I'm not reading those its triggering and I'm a minor"
So let me see if I've got this correct, you are knowingly refuse to acknowledge reality because it's upsetting to you and then you're going to turn around and deny that very reality because you refuse to acknowledge it because it's upsetting?

Hey y’all.
This is a VERY IMPORTANT POST FOR THE TRANS COMMUNITY!!
If you don’t know, a trans female in Alabama was doxxed by a transphobic guest. He shared her Twitter posts, other social media posts, and even her fucking Amazon wishlist like a fucking weirdo. He is now trying to get her fired. The post he made has over 2000 shares with people calling her “it”, the wrong pronouns, saying she is a man, etc.
Dale Strong addressed the Space and Rocket center calling for her to be fired and launched an investigation into what potential harm she has caused any children.
This is UNNACCEPTABLE!!
If you support the trans community, there is a petition going on to demand the Space and Rocket Center to protect her and any fellow LGBTQ+ community member employees. Please sign the petition and share it around.
Alabama is notorious for their anti-lgbtq+ stances and laws and anti-women laws. They need to know that we are here and that we exist and deserve to exist and do not deserve to be bullied. Please stand for Molly!!!
Also, if you show any sort of transphobia or homophobia, you will be blocked, no questions asked. You are not welcome here and I will not have a conversation with a bigot and a bully.

🏳️‍🌈Pride Month Day 13: Phoebe Bridgers 🏳️‍🌈
Tumblr media
Phoebe Bridgers is a singer-songwriter known for confessional, melancholic indie folk music. She released two albums under her name, "Stranger in the Alps" and "Punisher." Previously, she was a member of Better Oblivion Community Center with Connor Oberst of Bright Eyes, and she is a member of boygenius with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. She has collaborated with artists like Kid Cudi, SZA, Taylor Swift, The National and MUNA, and most recently she starred in and was featured on the soundtrack of the Jane Schoenbrun's "I Saw The TV Glow."
Bridgers identifies as bisexual and is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. She spoke out for trans rights at a Texas performance for SXSW, criticizing governor Greg Abbott's position on gender-affirming care. She also called out laws that limit trans rights in states like Florida and Missouri at a performance with boygenius, and the band perfomed in drag in protest of Tennessee's drag ban. She is an advocate for reproductive rights, and the 66th Grammy awards, all three members of boygenius wore Artists4Ceasefire pins on the red carpet to call for a ceasefire in the Israel-Gaza conflict.
