After you found out Jiaoqiu lost his sight, you did everything you to help him, mentally, or physically. In the beginning, he claimed he was 'content' clearly not after all that traumatic stuff he went through

One thing that Jiaoqiu would do regularly is hold onto your hand, just to feel any form of contact with you, to know you're there right beside him.

Another thing he does is wrap his tail around you to feel closer while cuddling, when you're cooking something for him, doesn't matter.

quick note: i'm absolutely not an astrologer. these are just a collection of some observations, thoughts, theories, and personal experiences. with that being said, i'm still learning along the way & i may come back to edit this post to make corrections. above all this is just for fun. lastly, keep in mind that i’m not reading your birth chart and i know nothing about you. these are just some possibilities that may or may not apply to you. enjoy!

𓍊𓋼𓍊 i feel like aries & sag mars are the types to do extreme sports like skateboarding, surfing, mountain climbing, snowboarding, bungee jumping, bmx, etc.

𓋼𓍊 moon conjunct/trine/sextile neptune: those with these aspects may be good actors or have some of the qualities & abilities needed for good acting. i feel like they know how to fake cry. they could purposely & easily evoke a memory or experience that triggers an emotional response. there’s this ability to manipulate their feelings but also the feelings of others. the ability to couple their emotional intelligence & creativity and combine them with reality & illusion. they make it believable. with that being said they can also be good liars too. and remember neptune is associated with tv/film.

Thoughts on Evelyn Mora's Trailer:

Skilled gambler who witnessed an argument between 2 individuals, during which we see papers reading "bill" and "debt".

(We also hear mention of "pure white powder" stained by mud and blood, but it's possible this is just a reference to Evelyn)

"Evelyn" presumably pulled a out a gun, shooting and killing 1 of them, after which she's thrown in jail (though she has a look of shock on her face the whole time). She then seems to eventually be released by someone that looks like Vilhelm.

*Unknown at this moment if this was really Evelyn or if she was framed, or the circumstances, if she was the shooter, why she did it.

*I wonder if this murder happened at the casino she was at, and if the debt was because the person was gambling too much or not.

*I also half wonder if it's possible Evelyn even by this point was working for Vilhelm, and if she'd wanted to kill whoever she did on Vilhelm's orders or not. Or if even that argument was purposefully set up so she could do the deed.

We then see her standing next to Vilhelm (in a chair like a throne), with some other older woman on the other side. Evelyn may be teaching and/or directing other women all wearing the same outfits (drab in color, with hats and ponytails just like Martha’s). Presumably, these women all have similar skills as to the ones displayed by Martha in her letters (imitation, observation, stealth, deception, etc...)

So potentially something like a spy organization for Vilhelm?

*Based on Evelyn saying "shouldn't you all be flowers in a vase?" seems to imply being primarily for appearances (pretty, to be put on display, but that's it). That or the focus on appearance is about them being spies/deceptive.

*I wonder how the other ladies working under Evelyn began working for her and Vilhelm. Is it possible whatever experiments Vilhelm was doing to Alice was something he was doing to other girls? Potentially as part of some sort of preparation for having them work for him?

These women are likely the same ones we see interacting with Alice. She says she obtained an invite to the manor from a "colleague who had been out of reach for days" via an "ingenuous disguise".

*If these women are the ones working for Evelyn and thus potentially Vilhelm, the one who performed experiments on Alice in Australia, was it really by chance that she was able to go to the manor, or was it planned? Was this somehow still part of Vilhelm's experiment? Could that be why before going to the manor, at the start of AoM 1, Alice talks about disguises, or explain her guarded behavior in her deductions? Maybe because she'd received some of the same training Martha and the others did?).

* Alice does appear in the last shot of Evelyn’s trailer, in the darkness near Martha.

*Is it possible this spy organization of Vilhelm's is the one that had been trying to investigate Alice in her deductions? He knew she'd escaped and was trying to find her again and have her returned to him (maybe for more experiments)? Though if it was the same people, and in her 7th deduction, it mentions whoever had been investigating Alice had been "exposed", so I doubt those performing the investigation and the 1 to hand her an invite are the same person (and she does call whoever gave her the invite a "colleague", but that doesn't mean it couldn't be faked...). So maybe whoever gave her the invite, their "ingenuous disguise", could've been by disguising themself as 1 of the females from Evelyn's/Vilhem's spy organization?

*If Vilhelm had been using his spy organization to investigate Alice, and they were "exposed" (which would be believable if Alice learned the same stuff Evelyn's spies did), that could explain why whoever the author is of Alice's deduction 8-10 seems to be different as the ones who authored her deduction 1-7. If Vilhelm does want to either capture of kill Alice, maybe he could've been the 1 to ask Norton to kill her, especially if his spies were exposed, Norton would be someone completely different than those that had previously gone after her. She had been investigating Golden Cave, and thus Norton, but she'd have no reason to know (least not yet) Norton might be investigating or targeting her.

1 of Evelyn's trainees included Martha Behamfil (as we see Evelyn putting the hat on her), who later betrays her and their organization. Evelyn wants to find her, potentially to ask why she betrayed and/or to punish her.

*Martha in her 1st letter asks Baron DeRoss (Orpheus) to help "[put] and end to a particular business". This "business" is likely Evelyn's spy organization, and that being where she learned her deception and disguise abilities, that could explain why later in her letter it says "So long as it's not 'me', I can become anybody". Speaking of which, I wonder if "that gentleman" could be referring to Vilhelm...? Not quite sure yet if that makes complete sense but if she essentially worked for him, can't help wondering.

*If Martha asked to work for Baron DeRoss aka Orpheus to get away from Vilhelm, that seems to imply Orpheus and Baron DeRoss aren't exactly on the same side. Despite the fact someone looking like Orpheus appeared in Alice's flashback with Vilhelm, seemingly confirmed by Alice's 1st letter that also involves him trying to help Alice get her memory back. This would at least fit with Orpheus' 1st letter, where he gets really at being refused to see Alice as well as at Vilhelm for being able to help Alice while Orpheus is unable to. That could also explain why Orpheus seemed to be secretly trying to help Alice regain her memory of him (Orpheus) from under Vilhelm's nose, whatever Vilhelm's real goal was.

*Martha learning under Evelyn explains the suitcase, hidden morse code, train tickets, tampered cigarettes, and the letter. Regarding the letter, I wonder if the "organization" Martha wanted to investigate was Evelyn's spy organization and/or something bigger involving Vilhelm and whatever it is he's doing.

*Regarding Martha's motivations for "betraying", according to her 5th letter, it says she "yearned to soar" and how "once a pawn in the hands of others" aka Vilhelm and Evelyn most likely) she "yearned to escape her fate" and "[break] the shackles".

*And it is pretty much confirmed the man in Evelyn's trailer is Vilhelm based on how we see the same man in Alice's flashback from AoM 2, as we know she was taken to Australia by Vilhelm based on her backstory

We 1st learned of Villhelm Lamb's name from Wu Chang's 4th letter, when it was revealed he was working with Jose's father, Joaquin Baden, to perform "trades" and obtain goods of some sort from the Mediterranean Sea.

Collateral included Wu Chang's umbrella.

We then connected him to Alice due to Ashes of Memory 1 showing a letter for Alice labeled "Eury Lamb".

This meant he was likely the "kind individual" from Orpheus' 1st letter who put together a "treatment package" for Alice. He took her to Melbourne to do this.

At Melbourne, from Alice's flashback in Ashes of Memory 2, Villhelm seemed to at least be working with Sam Bourbon (confirmed via Alice's 1st letter). 1 of the pictures in her flashback also showed someone who looked like Orpheus, implying he was there too (w/ Alice's letter).

It seems Orpheus was trying to help Alice to regain her memories (at least of Orpheus, who she seemed to forget) and to some extent helped her escape from Villhelm by telling her of the key in Sam's drawer.

Why Villhelm wants a spy organization? We don't yet know.

It is curious thought that him and Count Barriere are interested to some degree in the Mediterranean, which we know from Lily's last deduction, which mentions a bond for "Mediterranean Development".

Hopefully we'll learn more about him and his goals soon

Imagine if one of the listeners got married in Vagas...but forgot to divorce the person they married-

Even better if the person was a friend they lost contact with and when trying to marry one of the others boys or sent a letter they go on a side quest to get divorced.

I think it would be hilarious with Boo, Casper, and Rook. Bc Boo hasn't talked about their exs but once that letter came they shout fuck. Al says how he's the mistress and Seth is just shocked.

Boo is rolling their eyes at Alphonse and explains that night in Vagas. The two only married bc there was a lot of deals for newly weds. And no alphonse your not the mistress stop. Seth then tells Al "Guess you were the homewrecker not Sugar-" Sugarboo is done with both of them as they talk shit to one another. All three get into the car to the persons place to settle the divorce.

Casper asks Charlie to open the door and see someone with papers. The person asks for Casper and they come seeing the friend like oh shit how you be- Are those divorce papers??? Charlie is freaking out and Casper has a headache. Since Casper is kinda rich the old 'friend' is trying to get shit in the divorce.

So it's a series of court hearings to settle it. Casper got a good Lawyer and told Charlie if the other person tried to tell him shit immediately contact their lawyer. Charlie does feel a bit weird about the whole thing but Casper explains both of them got married bc they got super drunk and decided why not.

The person tried to say Casper cheated on them but evidence showed that the other person wanted to steal money from Casper bc they got rich. It was a field day for Casper's lawyer, bc there was also evidence that the person split off with money after Casper married them. So it was a whole thing but they got the divorce cleanly.

With Rook I think it would be funny bc as their working one day, the person comes in and sees Auron. Auron who just got to work is wondering why this person is talking to him. The person then says "I'm here to see Rook. My partner." Bc of that Auron is imminently defensive for them, to prove the person is married to Rook they showed the papers. And it has Rooks signature, Auron knows it he looks over their papers all the time.

So while in a meeting Rook is talking to the legal team and hears loud foots steps and yelling. Turns out the person heard someone say is Rook in that meeting room on the 7th floor? And ran into an elevator, Auron wanting answers rushes after the person. So as Rook is explaining some numbers the person slams the door open "I WANT A DIVORCE!!" Everyone is thrown into chaos bc Rook started yelling at the person.

Rook did love this person at one point but they cheated on them but forgot they were married bc it was Vagas. Rook is trying to explain but everyone is trying to understand bc wtf do you mean your married??? Auron gets there and sees the chaos. To stop the arguing he yells, everyone freezes and Auron looks at the person then Rook "My office now."

Rook is panicking in their mind as they try to sum up the story of them marring someone. The person though trues to act all high and mighty (wrong thing to do with Auron-) so after explaining Auron simply says "Rook, is my partner and I don't like how you came here after all those years for a divorce. You want something don't you?" The person is fumbling over themseves and us trying to deflect but Rook pressures then to say how they lost money in a casino and need it to not be bankrupt anymore.

Rook then says that they will go to court for the divorce. But the person better not try and get greedy with what they want. Auron ofc gets a high end lawyer for Rook and the divorce goes smoothly. And bc i love drama this is how Rook's and Auron's relationship gets put to the public.

Ability

True Heart (真ごころ, Magokoro) reveals the truth in an affected person's words as well as their connections to other parties, be those personal, professional and/or criminal.

When activated, Haruko's ability will allow her to see the affected person's words as bright blue visual writing in front of her eyes, much similar to a projection. Anything colored in red, no matter how small it is of a detail, is 100% a lie, even if the remaining of the sentence is colored normally.

If she chooses to further investigate the person in question by 'searching their heart', her ability will show her their involvement with other people through projected lines that connect one to another; the color of the connecting line is indicative of what kind of relationship it is. As much as it intrudes on people's privacy, showing even personal relationships no matter how much of a secret those are, this has been a key trait of Haruko's ability that has aided her on solving many cases before in which multiple criminal parties were allied to each other.

When in use, True Heart will turn Haruko's eyes a brighter blue with scarlet-colored pupils and irises ends. There are no exceptions to the effect of Haruko's ability other than herself and Osamu Dazai.

Personality

Haruko is a down-to-earth, level-headed woman. Her usual composure when at work usually tricks others into thinking she's the stern type but once she's off her shift and breaks character, her joyful and good-humored personality shines through. She eases up the most while drinking at her favorite kyabakura, especially if in the company of a drinking buddy, becoming chatty and endearingly silly.

Extremely adaptable, despite her overall considerate and caring nature, she's not one to be lenient with the unjust and will seek to punish those accordingly.

She carries a stationery store-bought small notebook on her at all times whose notable features are its flower-print cover embellished with the word 理想 (Risou, Ideal) in golden letters. In a similar fashion to Kunikida, Haruko is into scheduling and planned routines albeit hers are much more flexible than his. That didn't stop them from hitting it off as soon as they met however, quickly bonding over their shared interest. Now and then she changes notebooks once they run out of pages to write in, but the flower-print cover and golden writing are always a must-have for her.

As a police department employee, she's proficient with handling firearms and has remarkable physical combat skills, being well-versed in mixed martial art styles such as taekwondo and kickboxing. Her strongest traits are her endurance and willpower.

Backstory

In the original story's timeline, Haruko is first introduced rather early on but becomes more relevant as a character during the events of the Sky Casino arc. She works as a private investigator under her senior officer, Minoura, as he's the only one who knows about her ability and keeps it a secret since the use of those without a permit is considered taboo. Given that the information she finds thanks to her ability always leads her to uncovering actual, relevant clues and evidences in the cases she has solved, no one has ever suspected a thing.

However, it was exactly because of her ability that she was one of the few people that doubted the truth imposed by The Book when reality was altered to frame the ADA as a terrorist group, to the point of questioning her own judgment when no one else did. This state of unrest led her to conducting an investigation on her own, trying to find loose ends whilst staying out of the police's sights in order not to be accused of coniving with the ADA. After all, she believed in their innocence thanks to their previous collaborations with the Police Department, having personally met and inspected most of its members with her ability.

She's finally able of making a breakthrough once Ranpo shows himself on broadcast; while that geared the people affected by The Book to think for themselves and see the situation more clearly, that allowed Haruko to use her ability on Ranpo and not only confirm everything he said was true, but also gave her some leads to follow, cueing her into investigating the Decay of Angels more closely. She's come very close to finding out Kamui's real identity thanks to that.

Currently, she's helping the Police Department deal with the aftermath of the vampire outbreak.

Trivia

🌸 Similar to her irl counterpart, Haruko comes from a financially poor background. When younger, she lived in a humble village and made a living off flower arranging lectures, only moving in to the city after getting her job in the Police Department to support herself. Nowadays, flower arranging is one of her favorite hobbies as it gives her a warm feeling of nostalgia. 🌸 She can hold her alcohol pretty well but if she drinks to the point of becoming too drunk, she'll start crying over pointless things (like how one time she saw a mother goose with its young trailing after and thought it was very cute, for example). 🌸 Despite Haruko's dainty appearance, she's physically stronger than she looks. Rumor has it that she's able of effortlessly lifting Kunikida off the ground regardless of him being comically much taller than her. When asked, he neither confirms nor denies the claim. 🌸 As expected of someone in an investigative career, she's clever, with a good sense of responsibility and a keen intuition when it comes to predicting outcomes in the cases handed to her. Such adeptness paired with her ability make Haruko an obnoxious foe to face head on. 🌸 Even if the concept of ideals draws her in, she mostly relies on a very personal, strong sense of loyalty and duty rather than idealized courses of action. 🌸 Much like Kunikida, she does have a 'requirements list' for an ideal partner and even with her list not being as extensive as his, he still does not fit all requirements. That didn't stop them from falling in love anyway, as she does not fit all of his requirements either - being 4 short of being a perfect match to the list.

While he does enjoy seeing the ranks of his players rise, he'll make sure that none of them surpass him, even if it means playing dirty. Despite his innocent-enough appearance, many a soul would not dare to cross him.

Unlike other demons, Dicard cannot enter the surface, only being limited to the 7th ring. In fact, he doesn't have a body of his own. The only way he could get himself body is by taking control of a vessel nd bringing them to his realm. In order to get himself a vessel, he attracts them in the form of a special coin, the only other physical form he can manifest himself into. Once someone makes contact with him, possession is rapid, and he stays in the vessel's body, but doesn't manifest immediately. Instead, he waits until the vessel experiences something in their lives where they are in need of substance (alcohol, drugs, comfort, etc.) Only then can he appear before them through a figure in flames, with a voice and body mimicking that of the vessel. From then on, he changes their appearance to suit his taste, no matter what the vessel says in reply. This is also what he had done to his most current vessel, one that has stayed with him the longest.

The International Hotel January 7th, 1972

The cameras flashed through the lobby as a dark brunette-haired, sunglasses-wearing, fur coat-toating, tawny-skinned woman was at the front desk. That woman was,

 "Mrs.Presley, We uh weren't excepting you!" The concierge looked in shock.

"Call me Cecelia, sweetheart." she laughed, taking off her shades as she looked at the young woman who was about to faint. Usually, her husband had this effect on women. 

"W-Well... Can we do anything for you, get you a room..."

"I know Mr. Presley is on stage currently... but, uh, if you could relay a message to Jerry, tell 'em the Eagle has landed." taking the key from her, Cecelia winked as she continued to walk down towards the Elevator. 

           "Mrs. Presley!"

                                 "Happy Birthday, Mrs. Presley!"

          "Welcome back, Mrs. Presley!

"Geez, Midge. I didn't know people even remembered my birthday." she laughed as they walked through the casino. She was all smiles and waves like a pageant girl when really all she wanted to do was see her loving husband, who she hadn't been around for almost a year,

"Well, I don't even think you remembered your own birthday, let alone celebrated in how many years?" 

"Not true! Last year Elvis. Bought me a rhinestone studded Gibson Guitar." 

"And what did you send him."

"The key to a custom-made roadster... With EP on the seats."

"Well, when's the last time you two Celebrated your birthdays together..."

Cecelia took in a deep sigh as she thought about it. They'd been so busy with tours and conflicting schedules and even the kids who were now teenagers that the two hadn't even had time to their actual selves. The Elevator began to ding as they reached the 32nd floor of the hotel. Midge walked out first as Cecelia took out the hotel key. In a sense, the room felt like a home away from home.

The outside of the crowded concert hall was where the Memphis Mafia was trying their best to transport,

 "Elvis, I love you!

"Love you too, honey." he winked,

Back to his hotel room, that was if he could stop kissing all the women who'd approached him, but then again, when you're the big star that is Elvis Presley, what's one more woman? Running down towards them was the concierge who had run to Jerry to tell him,

"The Eagle has landed." 

Jerry looked at the young girl as he gave her a nod and a tap on Elvis's shoulder,

 "We gotta go, E."

"Somethin wrong..." He looked up at Jerry, his hand searching for one of his many peacemakers. 

"Nah, we just gotta go..."

The view of Vegas was beautiful from the window as Cecelia stood in front of it dressed in her long boudoir pink velvet robe. Champagne in her hand as she slowly breathed in and laughed, her eyes catching a pair of red panties that definitely didn't belong to her, just another chip in their marriage she'd manage to find. But it was no different than when she witnessed him date over 25 girls while his heart set on her. Lost in thought, Cecelia didn't even hear the key in the door turn, 

"Be careful, E..."Jerry said,

"Why the hell do I have to be careful?" Elvis laughed a lit cigarillo in his mouth, "What's in there cept for what's usually in there." opening the door to his hotel room, he could smell the sweet scent of a familiar perfume. And the shift of a calming wind coming through. 

"Elvis, is that you?"

"Cece..." his tired blue eyes now magnified back with energy,

"El..." she ran to him as she engulfed him with a tender kiss on his lips,

"I'll leave you two alone," Jerry smirked, closing the door behind him. 

Cecelia had pulled away from him, taking the Cigarillo out of his mouth and setting it out. On the ashtray, "Seems somebody missed me." He whistled, looking at her frame in the robe, 

"Seems someone couldn't wait for me..." her eyes gesturing to those panties again,

"Honey, no matter how many fans may have come in trying to steal away my appetite, you'll always be my main course," he whispered in her ear. Biting at the lobe as she shivered, 

"You're lucky it's your birthday in half an hour..." she laughed,

"And you're lucky it's still yours." his lips were now on her neck, kissing and sucking all the way down to her shoulder, where her robe was now slithering down off her skin,

To host a watch party or other event, all you have to do is let your Station head know when it will be so they can add it to the 007 Fest calendar. You can also make a post for the Cafe to reblog so we can let people know about it.

To make watch parties and other 007 Fest events accessible at a glance, we're asking you to include time zones for four different cities (Paris, New York, LA, Sydney) in your announcement posts!

For example, the wonderful @wambold is hosting Craig!Bond watch parties on Sundays at 8AM Pacific. For Casino Royale on July 7th, that would look like this:

kdj sits in the lobby of a hotel casino, waiting while christina provides refreshments and assures him that anna will come soon. honestly, lhh had expected kdj to make a scene. this is how dkos operates. and as sponsorships rain down, he knows that this world rewards scenes like these. but... when martinez had asked for a name, and kdj said 'cheon inho', martinez's reaction was odd. his expression changed, and he left shortly after. which is weird. there's no way his name would have spread to las vegas? there's plently of more famous koreans than cheon inho.

people begin bringing in the 4th grade dragon's parts, and eventually selena kim starts talking with kdj. it's still a little messy, and selena mentions that she only recently moved from the washington dome. when kdj asks about the situation in the washington dome, selena's expression is dark. did something happen..? lhh asks kdj if the las vegas dome is usually open. more domes are opened or extra incarnations are summoned in based on population, so the dome itself isn't a problem, but the restriction on movement between countries was lifted, which isn't normal.

originally, the domes are only released after the 10th scenario, but something about the united states' 7th scenario was so hard that the bureau judged that the american incarnations alone couldn't beat it, and mercenaries from other countries had to be brought in... apparently, yjh and his party are in the washington dome.

after kdj asks about yjh's whereabouts, selena is curious and asks if he's close with yjh. his response?

"we were companions separated by life and death."

(the original tl of this line isn't the best, it's more like "we are companions have been through life and death separately", but the big thing is the change from present to past tense. kim dokja...)

selena takes kdj on a tour of the hotel. i've talked about it already here

now, about those plants. looking at the yanaspleta being grown there, the soil it's growing on isn't from earth. it's soil from the 5th scenario, when other worlds invaded the earth. which is odd... the soil should have disappeared after the 5th scenario was cleared. so why is that dirt still there? kdj looks at the 4th grade monster's organs, and starts talking.

it's weird. this '4th grade earth dragon' isn't cost effective to buy. the material is hard to process, and its sharpness is inferior. it's much better to buy the bones of a '5th grade fire dragon', even if it's technically lesser. but anna would have known that. so, knowingly buying this, there should have been a reason. kim dokja picks up some powder that fell during the processing the of the monster parts. and sprinkles it on the otherworldly soil, as it purifies. everyone in the hall stops then, and some incarnations reach for their weapons.

kdj's eyes are cold. he still considers selena kim a good person, and tells her so. if she answers his questions, nothing will happen here. anna's not here, is she? selena confirms it, and apologizes. where's anna right now? and... did they really clear the 5th scenario normally?

right then, there's noise from the hotel's entrance. constellations from asgard enter the channel. a portal opens, and as they move to the portal, anna croft arrives, her left arm bleeding. as selena prepares a tourniquet, anna asks if selena bought the dragon parts. selena affirms, but anna shakes her head. and says it's too late. that the operation was a failure. lee hakhyun organizes everything in his head. the 4th grade species with its purification properties, the washington dome, the scenario, and... his companions. why did anna croft return alone? it couldn't be..?

and lee hakhyun wasn't the only one to piece it together.

"Anna Croft." Anna Croft's expression hardened the moment she heard that voice. Her neck stiff, she slowly turned this way. "You... how are you here?" "Where is Yoo Joonghyuk right now?" So far, the 'Demon King of Salvation' that I knew felt more like a jobless neighborhood hyung than a constellation. A hyung who doesn't like boring things and never takes anything seriously, who's busy teasing someone whenever he has time. Right now, that hyung, "I'm asking. What happened to Yoo Joonghyuk." was genuinely angry.

Lucifer

He has read your student profile and knows that you are a demon hunter. He wonders what went on in Diavolo’s mind when he decided that you should be invited to the Devildom, a realm full of the beings you loved to hunt.

Your sarcasm is a double-edged sword for him. He loves when his brothers get a taste of their own medicine, but he hates when you make a witty comeback towards him. Plus, he can’t do anything because you’re way more powerful than he is, even if you are only half-demon.

However, you’re as bad of a gambler as his younger brother, Mammon, is. It’s annoying to see the two of you constantly going out to gamble to try and get more money to pay back your debts. Unfortunately, he can’t stop you since the reason you don’t have many funds is because you often don’t charge people for sending you to go demon hunting. You are a fighting Robin Hood, aren’t you?

The longer you stay with the brothers, the more you grow attached. You still genuinely cared for Belphegor even after he tried to kill you. I say ‘tried’ because the youngest brother didn’t stand a chance against you. It was almost amusing (but definitely embarrassing) to Lucifer, seeing Belphie lose that badly.

Mammon

Lucifer had told him that you were a skilled, even legendary, demon hunter and he was understandably scared. Diavolo must have lost his mind because there was no way he would be able to make the decision to bring you to a realm of demons if he was sane.

He audibly laughed when you made a sarcastic remark towards Lucifer, and that ended up in him getting strung from the chandelier. Somewhere in there, he realized that you were stronger than his older brother because you didn’t get anything but a warning about your behavior.

He loves and hates gambling with you. You just suck so bad at it that he can’t help but drag you along to laugh at your failure. He will teach you some tricks and use his magic to make you a tad more lucky. Eventually, you get enough money to pay your debts, and save some for Mammon so he can pay back his debts as well.

The second eldest was genuinely scared when Belphie lunged after you. He seemed to have forgotten that not only were you a legendary demon hunter, but also half-demon yourself. The 7th brother never stood a chance against you, and got packed up. Mammon was in the back just cheering you on.

Leviathan

You remind him of the protagonist of the game Demon Might Weep!!! He wishes to have the amount of confidence you have. You are able to walk into any room and you act like you’ve known everyone there for years, and no one questions it.

When you made a sarcastic comment towards Lucifer, he almost spit out his energy drink out of shock. And he realized that his oldest brother couldn’t even do anything about it because you were so powerful, and his jaw dropped even more.

He’s jealous whenever you go gambling with Mammon. You could be hanging out with him instead, but of course you wouldn’t. Who would want to hang out with a gross otaku like him, huh? It’s not until you explain that you’re just trying to pay back your debts that he understands why you go out to the casinos constantly.

He cheered you on from the beginning when you fought for your life against his youngest brother. Sure, he was scared since you were taken off-guard, but he had faith in you and your abilities as a half-demon demon hunter. He’s so relieved to see you make it out alright.

Satan

He has also read your student profile, but he was sure that Diavolo had his reasons when he chose you to be an exchange student. You could technically be counted as a source of unification between the Human Realm and Hell because of your parentage.

He laughed out loud and unashamedly when you made a sassy comment towards Lucifer right to his face. He did not expect an exchange student to have this much stupidity or bravery (he can’t tell which one you have). However, you have his respect now.

He’s more annoyed when you go gambling with Mammon, mainly because you lose more money than you win. Sure, the reason why you don’t have any money is noble since you often don’t charge for your demon hunting services. But money is money, and you have none of it.

When you fought against Belphegor, he was surprised that you had that much power within you. You would think that you would be less powerful considering you’re only half-demon, but here you are… easily folding Belphie the f up like the dishes on a Tuesday afternoon.

Asmodeus 

Lucifer had informed him that you were a demon hunter and he was definitely scared. He hasn’t even met you yet and his oldest brother is admitting that you’re stronger than any of the brothers, and might be stronger than Lord Diavolo for all they know.

He giggled when you made a sassy remark back towards the Avatar of Pride, but was also shocked. No one, in any millennia that they have lived through, had ever had the guts to do what you just did. You were just a different breed, apparently (literally).

He always laughs when you and his older brother come back from the casino with nothing in your pockets. Sure, it’s beyond frustrating, but it’s also hilarious. Shouldn’t you have learned by now that you’ve been dealt a bad hand when it comes to the tables and dice?

The day that Belphie attacked, Asmo was so worried for you. Not physically, considering you were stronger than all of them combined. No, he was worried about how your trust would be impacted in the future. I mean, you became close with the residents of the HoL, but now you would probably be wary.

Beelzebub

When his oldest brother had informed him that you were a legendary demon hunter, he spit out whatever food he had in his mouth. He suddenly wasn’t very hungry, mainly because Lord Diavolo and Lucifer had accepted a demon hunter into RAD.

When you decided to test the waters and bite back at Lucifer, Beel spit out his food then too. Like, there ain’t no way you had said that to the Avatar of Pride and lived to tell the tale. Of course, it definitely didn’t help anything when his oldest brother admitted to the group that he couldn’t do anything in response. Just how powerful were you?

He gets upset when he sees you and Mammon coming back from the casinos, drunk and broke. You could never win when it came to gambling, and you resorted to leeching off the brothers until you could pay back your debts. Didn’t you know that you were qualified for a normal job?

When Belphie attacked, he was torn between his emotions. Sure, he loved you, but he also loved his twin as well. He understood Belphegor’s anger since the angels couldn’t allow a union like Lilith and her lover when you were half-demon, half-human. He was glad that you made it out alive, though.

Belphegor

When his oldest brother visited him in the attic, he had told him about you. It just made him further question Diavolo’s sanity, since he invited one of, if not the, best demon hunter known to all the realms. The Demon Lord must’ve lost his freaking mind.

He got a taste of your sarcasm when he asked you to let him out. You were already suspicious of him, so you were able to see right through his scheme, so you decided to humble his very obvious pride by shooting him down in a very sassy way.

He has probably heard Lucifer yelling at you and Mammon for going out gambling and losing a crap-ton of money. It’s kind of hard not to hear it, actually. He figured that either someone at the tables cheated or you just sucked at gambling.

When he attacked you, he revealed that he was angry that angels and humans couldn’t have the same union that demons and humans could (that, as a result, produced you and your twin brother). If it were allowed in the Celestial Realm, perhaps Lilith would still be alive.

Agata: The governor of Nordia, the Capital of Water. Teo and Sera’s mother. Appears strict and fearsome since she carries a whip, but is actually kind. An old friend of Vir’s.

Acqua Alta: An Italian word that refers to the tides. The phenomenon is often observed in Nordia. The townspeople take daily measures to prevent buildings from becoming flooded and to prepare for emergencies.

Acqua Tempesta: A great storm that threatens Nordia. Records state that it occurs once every hundred years. The storm is powerful enough to completely destroy the island.

Acqua Pazza: Fish and tomatoes stewed in water and white wine. A popular dish among sailors, especially those of the Intelligence division. Regalo has restaurants that serve delicious acqua pazza.

Bruise: Appears as compensation for using Arcana powers. The area around the stigmata turns reddish black, and becomes painful.

Ash: A wild genius from the ghost ship. 17 years old. A decendent of the alchemist who created the Tarocco. Also skilled in swordsmanship. Turns into a tiger when he looks into a mirror, and turns back after eating an apple.

Amata: An Italian word that refers to your beloved. Often used when whispering sweet nothings like a true Regalo man.

Amethyst: A purple crystal. A long time ago, Jolly made a fake eye out of this stone to supplement Debito’s emotional strength. This gem is also often used as a protective charm.

Arcana Duello: A battle between those with Arcana powers to determine who is the strongest. Everyone who has powers can participate. It was established by Mondo.

Arcana Famiglia: The vigilante organization that protects Regalo from both internal and external threats. They maintain order and safety for the island. Searching for cats is another of their specialties.

Arcana powers: Strange powers that lie in Tarocco cards. These special powers can be gained through forming a contract, but each seems to require the payment of some compensation…

Alto: A boy who often gazes at the sea. 10 years old. Often comes to the harbor to listen to stories of “Liberta the Hero”. Devoted to his family.

Alberto: Pace’s younger brother. 22 years old. His feelings towards Pace are complicated, but he hopes that he will return to their family. His favorite dish is naturally lasagna.

Albero: One of the court cards. The king of the Chalices. 34 years old. Mature and composed, he supports their young executive. However, he teases him an equal amount.

Awayukikan: A type of sweet from Giappone. Its name comes from it’s snow-white appearance and melt-in-your-mouth softness. Has a flavor that brings back fond memories for Giapponese expats.

Antonio: One of the court cards. The knight of the Swords. 23 years old. Straight-laced and serious. Dislikes disorder, but still remembers to read the room. Tends to worry that his face makes him look old.

Igor: One of the court cards. The page of the Clubs. 21 years old. Basically just loves to eat! And that is reflected in his figure. Secretly loves fine food.

Isabella: One of three maids who take care of the entire mansion. Full of energy and the life of the party, she is also very hard working. Her age is a secret.

Isis Regalo: One of the exclusive members-only casinos run by the Coins serie. A place for gathering cash, information, and everything in between…

Strawberry Head: Ash’s nickname for the heroine. Apparently comes from how her hair is red like the fruit…

Elmo: A homunculus boy. Looks around 10 years old, but was actually born less than a year ago. Succeeded in hosting powers through Jolly’s research. Loves the heroine very much.

Eros Debito: Debito’s nickname. Pace is the one who came up with it. It’s used when Debito shows his true talent as a hunter of love.

Augar Blanco: The name of the organization lead by Milena’s father. They caused unrest in town and were in conflict of Arcana Famiglia. They seem to have quieted down recently.

Orso: A member of the Intelligence division. 29 years old. A burly sailor who assists Dante. While he’s great at sailing, he’s bad with women.

Ojou-sama Maniac: What Agata calls Luca to refer to how his life revolves around his Ojou-sama. Luca denies it, but everyone else seems to agree.(X)

Casa Bianca: An orphanage in Nord. Liberta spent time here before meeting Dante. It is not currently in use and only the broken down building remains.

Guida Regalo: A Regalo tourism magazine. The Family occasionally puts out special editions. It originally came about so that individual establishments could showcase their specialties.

Caprese: A salad of layered mozzerala cheese and thickly slices tomatos garnished with basil. A signature Italian dish. Often served during celebrations.

Capo: An Itallian word that refers to an executive. Members of the Coins serie often use this in regards to Debito.

Kamuro: A young girl in training to be a courtesan. They waited on courtesans called oiran while learning how to be courtesans themselves.

Calcio: An Italian word that refers to soccer. A regular activity at Piccolino among the children. Particularily a favorite among boys.

Karel: Debito’s mentor who taught him how to work in the shadows when he was an assassin. The former Executive of the Coins. He has some connection to Debito…

Kiara: Joshua’s wife and Liberta’s mother. Died soon after giving birth to Liberta. A commoner. Dextrous and skilled at making accessories.

Coins Serie: The serie in charge of distribution. Also oversees the amusement facilities on the island. Their free-spirited Capo has plenty of enemies and allies.

Claudio: One of the court cards. The knight of the Clubs. 24 years old. Has a reputation for having a wild and healthy appetite. Has a thing for silver hair, but nobody knows about it.

Claude: A former Nord spy. Knows Dante from when they were fellow spies. Approached the heroine before claiming to be a journalist. His recent whereabouts are unknown…

Contract: Formed when your intentions are in line with another party. Often used by Vir throughout the story as a negotiation tactic.

Officer: Refers to a police officer. In Regalo, Arcana Famiglia takes on this role, but the police uphold order in Nordia. They don’t serve katsudon though. (TN: Apparently serving katsudon to suspects in interrogation to get a confession is a thing in Japanese police dramas)

Laurel: A plant in the Lauraceae family. The leaves are typically used in Natale wreaths or dried into bay leaves to use as a spice for cooking.

Philosophers’s Stone: A miraculous stone known by all alchemists. It is said to have the power to turn base metals into gold and grant humans immortality.

Swords Serie: The serie in charge of arbitration. Didn’t have an executive until recently, when the heroine joined and filled in the position. The members all act like true Regalo men.

Useless Brat: A term used when cursing another. Refers to a person who is only a mouth to feed and doesn’t have any contributions or achievements.

Cornet: A pastry often eaten during breakfast. Similar to a croissant. In Regalo, they often have sweet fillings like jam or chocolate.

Gondola: A small rowboat. Typically used as transportation in Nordia where there are lots of canals. The scenary when travelling between buildings in one is quite beautiful. It looks particularily magical at night.

Clubs Serie: The serie in charge of inspections. Perhaps to Pace being the executive, this serie is full of cheerful personalities. Always smiling when on patrol.

Konpeito: A type of sugar candy shaped like stars. Originally introduced from Portugal. Their bright, translucent colors and sweet flavor makes them beloved by people of all ages.

Sa-So

Embodying Suspicion: When someone has unfounded doubts about another. Being suspicious is necessary at times, but knowing when to trust someone is more important. (X)

Trivial: Refers to something insignificant. Used by Dante to describe Claude’s actions. But what are Dante’s true intentions? (X)

Salute: Said as a wish for good health when making a toast. Doesn’t matter whether your glass contains wine or grape juice.

Monkey Princess: A female squirrel monkey. “Princess” for short. Neve’s close friend and confidant from when she lived in Giappone. Teaching her new skills is part of Neve’s daily routine.

Siesta: A nap taken to relax for a bit after lunchtime. A day with clear skies and a breeze is considered perfect weather for a siesta.

Jeremy: One of the court cards. The king of the Coins. 22 years old. A good guy, but often causes him to draw the short end of the stick. Loves women.

Signorina: A polite term for a woman. To Regalo men, a woman is considered a lady no matter her age.

Shimenawa: Used to decorate entryways during new years to welcome the gods. Means to ward of evil. Very nostalgic to Neve since she is from Giappone.

Simone: One of the court cards. The queen of the Swords. 27 years old. Loves hearing interesting gossip. Talks in a unique manner that leaves an impression.

Giappone: The name of the country Sumire used to live. Items and proverbs from Giappone appear frequently in the story.

Minor Arcana: Those who work under the executives are contracted with a minor Arcana. They don’t have special powers but have slightly higher physical abilities than the average person.

Jolly: An advisor you can’t go to for advice. Age unknown. Due to his cold-hearted nature, the island’s citizens and Family keep their distance, but he doesn’t mind it. His skills as an alchemist are first-rate.

Giorgio: One of the court cards. The king of the Swords. 31 years old. Usually reliable but loves signorinas. Has a reputation for accurately telling fortunes with his hairstyles.

Jiro: The mansion’s gardener. 37 years old. A natural-born Regalo man who gets along well with Martha. It’s said that his favorite hat is an antique.

Scuro: One of the court cards. The knight of the Chalices. 27 years old. A sincere and upstanding man. Idolizes his executive and calls him “Nova-sama”. Has the nicest handwriting in the Chalices.

Stigmata: A mark that appears on the skin after contracting a Major Arcana. The position depends on the person. The design is based on which Major Arcana was contracted.

Speranza: The name of the sword Liberta always carries. It’s name means “hope”. It’s a type of curved sword called a cutlass.

Sumire: A former oiran fortune-teller. 36 years old. A woman with an exotic air who came from Giappone. Said to have originally been an accomplished fortune-teller. Strict yet mischievous as a mother.

Sumire Tayu: The name Sumire used in Giappone when she was an oiran. “Tayu” is a title granted to those who excel at the arts.

Punishment: A penalty imposed upon those who break a law or regulation. As the creator of the Tarocco, it seems that a punishment is issued to those who attack him.

Chalices Serie: The serie in charge of security. Comprised of those who are typically earnest people, but they often tease their young executive.

Serafino: The son of the governor, Agata. 18 years old. Usually refered to as Sera. Sometimes gets the short end of the stick due to his honest personality. Has plenty of worries for his age. Crab claw fritters are his favorite

Celine: A magician. 25 years old. Was supposedly visiting Nordia in order to show off some magic tricks at the masquerade… Seems to have some relationship with Debito…

Serie: The Swords, Chalices, Coins, and Clubs divisions of the organization. Also used to refer to card suits.

Ferryman: A person who rows a gondola. Called a gondolier in Italian. The sight of them standing at the bow often catches the attention of tourists.

Governor: A term for someone who leads a country. Agata fulfills this role in Nordia. The postion comes with a significant amount of responsibility, as the one holding it can determine the future of their country.

Ta-To

Major Arcana: The group of 22 cards in a full deck of 78 tarot cards that has illustrations of what they symbolize.

Compensation: A payment that is made whenever Arcana powers are used. For example, whenever the heroine spins the “Wheel of Fortune”, “memories” are the compensation.

Tarocco: The tarot in Italian. Refers to the cards that host Arcana powers in general. It isn’t clear who created them or for what purpose.

Dante: Has a bright sense of humor. 39 years old. The chief executive who manages the other more free-spirited executives. Has direct command over the Intelligence division, so he does not stay in Regalo all the time. An incredibly reliable man.

Cenone: A banquet held in Italy on New Year ’s Eve. Often a large function where family, extended relatives, and friends are invited. Nordia has a custom of exchanging small red items.

Ciao: Means “Hey!”, “Hello”, etc. Used as a greeting on a daily basis. Mainly used between people who are familiar with each other. Saying this enthusiastically is sure to get you a smile in return…

Intelligence division: A group of all male sailors who specialize in diplomacy and gathering information and protect the island from outside threats. They are a part of the Family but mainly operate at sea.

Dino: A craftsman at the glass workshop. 24 years old. Acquainted with Sera and has also met Nova. Skilled at glass blowing but does admit that Sera is more talented.

Tiramisu: Quintessential of Italian dolce. Bitter espresso and marscapone cheese make an exquisite pairing. It’s name means “cheer me up”.

Teo: The son of the governor, Agata. 18 years old. His full name is Theodore. Respects Vir almost to the point of blind faith due to a certain incident. Shrimp fritters are his favorite.

Debito: A fashionable man who lives for amore. 24 years old. Treats women and children kindly despite how he looks, but speaks in a foul manner. Executive of the Coins and runs the casino. Also performs various other jobs…

Equivalent exchange: Exchanging things of equal value. A term used frequently by alchemists. If you want something, you must offer something of equal value. That is the principle behind an equivalent exchange.

Donatella: One of three maids who take care of the entire mansion. Good at keeping a straight face, but can still be playful. Calm, collected, and often calls out others on their stupidity.

Torta di mele: A tart that typically uses apples. The crispy crust an tart apples taste exquisite. Tastes nostalgic to Ash.

Dolce: An Italian word that refers to sweetness or sweets. Can also be used as a compliment for women.

Donna: An Italian word that refers to a proprietress. Also a title for the heroine after she succeeds Papa as head of the Family.

Na-No

Natale: The Italian word for Christmas. People will usually get together with family to celebrate on the night of Natale. It can also be a day for couples to spend together.

Nino: A member of the Intelligence division. Dante’s subordinate. 32 years old. A keen sailor who supports Dante, but has very bad luck. Will always take the opportunity to pursue luck.

Nicola: Nova’s mother. When Nova’s Death powers went out of control at a young age, she was put to sleep for 7 years, but has now woken up. Is usually gentle.

Neve: Sumire’s younger sister by blood. 17 years old. Her real name is Yuki (kanji for happiness). Skilled at fortune-telling and also uses it in sales. Loves and respects Vir, with whom she has a romantic relationship.

Nova: A skilled Regalo swordsman. 16 years old. The disciplined executive of the Chalices and the heroine’s cousin. Strict on others just as he is on himself. He still isn’t done growing.

Nordia: A city located to the north of Regalo that takes a few days to reach by ship. Many canals run through the city, making it famous as the Capital of Water. The Acqua Tempesta is a constant concern.

Nordia merchants: The merchants that are led by Vir. It’s members are Sera, Teo, and Neve. They have a contract with the governor, Agata, to travel around selling their wares.

Nord: A country that is located even further north from Nordia. Temperatures are low year-round which makes life in the area difficult. The population decreases every year.

Ha-Ho

Pace: A natural Regalo man. 26 years old. The executive of the Clubs and the Deputy Chief Executive. Loves lasagna and always has a smile on his face. Is actually a noble and son of the lord.

Papa: Means “father” in Italian and can also refer to the Pope. The term is also used for the leader of the organization and is Mondo’s title.

Babbo Natale: The Italian word for Santa Claus. Shows up in the “Adventures of Liberta the Hero” stories that Liberta tells. Virtually everyone in Regalo has heard of him.

Patrick: One of the court cards. The king of the Clubs. 28 years old. Supports Pace by managing the serie. The long part of his hair that looks like a tail is a style point of his.

Panettone: A traditional sweet bread that is eaten during Natale. The dry fruits inside and freshly baked crust are exquisite. So good that even grown-ups and children will fight over it.

Panna: Means fresh cream in Italian. Spreading lots of panna on panettone when eating it during Natale is the Regalo way.

Bambina: Means a young girl in Italian. Young boys are called bambino. Mainly used by Debito when referring to the heroine.

Piccolino: An event that members of the Family hold occasionally. They gather the children in the church to play, talk, and eat snacks together.

Pino: One of the court cards. The queen of the Clubs. 23 years old. A glutton who’s motto is “meals should be fun”, but has the best manners out of all the Clubs. Has a bit of a sharp tongue.

Chickpea: A small legume that is used in soups and salads. Usually used as a term for teasing Nova in the story.

Federica: The beautiful owner of a tailoring shop. Owns a white cat named Fran. Her age is super top secret. Gets along very well with Martha.

Federica Dress: The tailoring shop run by Federica. The shopfront is decorated with many dresses. They also sell accessories and such.

Felicita (default name): A girl who is loved deeply. 17 years old. The executive of the Swords and their Madonna. Has a cool personality and talks with her kicks before her words, but is just hiding her embarrassment. Secretly a romantic. The heroine of the story.

Buona Notte: A phrase that means “good night”. Said to wish someone a pleasant night.

Fortuna: The 10th card, the Wheel of Fortune. The name of the Tarocco that the heroine hosts. Its full name is Ruota della Fortuna.

Fukurota (default name): A female little owl. Gifted to the heroine by Dante when she was young. Now the heroine’s best friend.

Furio: A poor boy who is a childhood friend of Clarissa. 13 years old. His family is poor and he works as a shoe polisher. Seems to have some relation to Pace…

Fred: One of the court cards. The queen of the chalices. 20 years old. Mercilessly ties up troublemaking evildoers with his whip. His hobby is reading books and has an eloquent but sharp tongue.

Peridot: A bright green gemstone. Luca refined it to use as a replacement for Debito’s amethyst eye. It holds the meaning of “bonds of fate”.

Mr. Hat: Vir’s nickname for Luca. Comes from his trademark hat. Keeps using it no matter how many times Luca corrects him. Probably won’t be changing his ways…

Pawn: One of the pieces used in chess. The weakest piece representing a foot soldier. Using them properly can determine victory or defeat.

Homunculus: Refers to the artificial lifeforms created by alchemists. Some say that they go against the principle of life…

Polpo: Means “octopus” in Italian. There are rumors that Jolly used to use them as experimental subjects. Delicious when cooked and fun to look at.

Board Game Tournament: A tournament held on the last day of the masquerade. A large event held to celebrate Nordia in which the governor Agata herself takes part. Agata was the champion in recent years.

Ma-Mo

Martha: The mansion’s cook. 38 years old. A spirited woman who is in charge of all the Family’s meals. She can apparently make anything you request of her.

Masquarade: A large festival held during New Year’s in Nordia. It lasts for 10 days and a board game tournament with the governor takes place on the last day. Many tourists come to experience the event.

Mama: Means “mother” in Italian. It refers to the motherly figure of the organization, who is Sumire in the story.

Milena: The youngest daughter of Augar Blanco. Ran borderline scams in order to pursue the person she liked, but the incident was resolved at the Isis Regalo. Exchanges letters with the heroine.

Mariella: One of three maids who take care of the entire mansion. Has a calming presence and acts as an older sister figure. She is surprisingly clumsy.

Bird of Prey: A category of bird that includes owls. They tend to prey on other animals. Debito tends to use this to refer to Fukurota. (X)

Mostro Abissale: The name of a limone pie that Jolly made. It’s full name is “Capriccio of Enhancement, Mostro Abissale”. It seemingly has the effect of making whoever consumes it manlier like Dante.

Fir Tree: A type of pine tree that is typically used as a Christmans tree. It isn’t typically done in Regalo, but they are often decorated in celebration of Christmas abroad.

Moreno: Nova’s father and Mondo’s older brother. However, his current involvement with the Family is minimal. Was put to sleep for 7 years when Nova lost control of his powers at a young age. Strict, but kind deep down.

Mondo: The ridiculously doting father, Papa. 59 years old. Currently the well respected head of the Family. Has a personality that inevitably brings people together. Is soft towards his daughter.

Ya-Yo

Procuress: A woman who trains and procures women for a pleasure district. It is said that they put a great amount of effort into training girls so they can attract high class clients.

Liberta the Hero: The name Liberta uses when he tells stories of his adventures. Very popular with children. He seems to exaggerate quite a bit, but he claims they are about 70% true…

Ghost Ship: Refers to Ash’s ship, the Vascello Fantasma. In the past, it sailed with many ghosts and skeletons who could not be put to rest aboard. There are apples everywhere.

Yuki: Neve’s real name. Written with the character for “happiness”. Changed her name to “Neve” after meeting Vir. After fulfilling a promise, she may start going by this name once more.

Joshua: Mondo’s first son whom he had with his first wife. He eloped and went missing, but reappeared on the ghost ship… His wife’s name was Kiara.

Ra-Ro

La Giustizia: The 8th card, Justice. The name of the Tarocco that Joshua hosted. Invokes the scales and calls forth either an overwhelmingly powerful attack or defensive array.

La Stella: The 17th card, the Star. The name of the Tarocco that Neve hosts. Grants the power to grant the wish of another just once.

La Temperanza: The 14th card, Temperance. The name of the Tarocco that Luca hosts. Grants the power to nullify Arcana powers.

La Torre: The 16th card, the Tower. The name of the Tarocco that Elmo hosts. Grants the power to create a strong wall over an area that protects from attacks.

La Forza: The 11th card, Strength. The name of the Tarocco that Pace hosts. Grants extreme physical strength.

La Primavera: A spring festival in Regalo. Many people will wear costumes and several events will be held to heighten the festive atmosphere.

La Morte: The 13th card, Death. The name of the Tarocco that Nova hosts. Grants the power to temporarily put people in the area to sleep.

La Luna: The 18th card, the Moon. The name of the Tarocco that Jolly hosts. Grants the power to call up a person’s painful memories.

Lasagna: An oven-baked dish of layered sheet pasta and sauce. Pace says its name strangely, but there’s no real meaning to it.

L’Appeso: The 12th card, the Hanged Man. The name of the Tarocco that Sera hosts. Grants the power to temporarily deprive nearby people of their vision.

Raphaelo: One of the court cards. The page of the Swords. 25 years old. Usually doesn’t talk much, but occasionally has harsh opinions. He is easily misinterpreted, but is actually just very honest.

Gli Amanti: The 6th card, the Lovers. The name of the Tarocco that the heroine hosts. Grants the power to read the hearts of others.

Ristorante: Means “restaurant” in Italian. Many specialize in dishes using fresh seafood. Their dolce is also delicious.

Liberta: One who understands the value of foolishness. 19 years old. A member of Intelligence who loves the sea and freedom. Has a bright, energetic personality despite the complex circumstances behind his birth. Has difficulties due to not knowing how to act around women.

Limone Pie: A pie using lemons. The members of the Family all have different tastes, but they all agree that Luca’s limone pie is a delicacy. Tastes even better cold. They should never be thrown.

Lord: Governs the land that they preside over. Pace and Alberto’s father has lordship over Regalo.

Apple: A type of fruit. Their balance of sweet and sour makes them suited for use in dolce. Ash’s favorite food and his Vascello Fantasma stocks tons of them.

L'Imperatore: The 4th card, the Emperor. The name of the Tarocco that Dante hosts. Grants the power to manipulate a person’s memories or temporarily brainwash them.

Luce: One of the court cards. The page of the Chalices. 20 years old. Has a baby face that makes him look younger than he is. Likes to tease Nova the most out of the Chalices.

Luca: An overly doting attendant. 29 years old. His hobbies are sewing and alchemy. Was also once a secretary. A kind older brother figure who has taken care of the heroine for 13 years. Can be incompetent at times.

The Lucellino Company: A secret organization who’s name means “little bird of light”. They appear to be a trading company on the surface, but rumor has it that they have another hidden side…

Regalo sunshine: Refers to a perfectly sunny day without a cloud in sight. On days with weather like this, it isn’t unusual to see people doing their laundry while looking up at the sky and calling out “Look at this Regalo sunshine!”.

Island of Regalo: The island that the story takes place on. Often targeted by pirates and foreign nations due to its abundance in resources. The name Regalo means “gift”.

Renato: One of the court cards. The knight of the Coins. 26 years old. The diligent type, which is rare in the Coins. His cool demeanor makes him popular with women. Doesn’t smile outside of work.

L'Eremita: The 9th card, the Hermit. The name of the Tarocco that Debito hosts. Grants the power to become invisible and undetectable by others.

Alchemy: A practice that involves refining various materials into a complete form. Those who practice this art are called alchemists. Jolly, Luca, and Ash are known as the alchemist trio.

Rollo: One of the court cards. The page of the Coins. 23 years old. Has a good head on his shoulders and is skilled at adapting to the needs of others. A calculated gentleman.

Wa

Wheel: Anything that is round or goes in a loop. Whether that be fate or connections with others. The world is made up on many wheels.

Wine: An alcoholic beverage made of fermented grape juice. A favorite drink of Debito’s and Dante’s. It is best consumed warm during cold seasons.

Puppy Brothers: A term used to collectively refer to Liberta and Pace. References how they act like a large and medium-sized dog respectively.
