do you ever feel like people overcompensate making caduceus a jerk when trying to pushback against him being infantilized? i do like different takes on him, but i feel like an annoying amount of people are like "he's a judgemental prick and would insult someone to their face if they do something he disapproves of" which seems even moreso out of character for him.

oh hm. . maybe? i feel like the example you gave is probably just people who straight up don't like him lol, but ye i do sometimes see people i know really do like cad talking about how much of a bitch he can be, and like .. i also do this but at least with me and my friends it's kinda jokey yknow? so i kinda read other cad enjoyers saying it as half-joking too.. like he absolutely has bitchy moments ("sleep well with your bad decisions" was so funny and rude.. like my guy you can't be doing that akjnksjnfkja.....) and absolutely crosses lines sometimes and is judgmental in ways too. most of the time its like genuinely he doesn't mean wrong by it though, is the difference, so it's a character flaw and kinda changes throughout the show as his worldview changes. like, keep in mind this guy hadn't even rly left his house before meeting tmn so he doesnt really know how to act out of very specific interactions with his family and the mourners. and i definitely don't think he'd insult someone to their face because he disapproved of something. .at post he'd like , roll his eyes and grumble abt it (unless its someone mega evil like ikithon who’s actually hurting people). . idk. there's lots of fun flaws and things to talk about (ooough the saviour complex part of his character is so fun. the lack of social skills from his weird upbringing and how that effects how he treats people as 'projects' not necessarily in a way that harms them but more so that he has a role and a purpose), but yea, people seriously posting totally not-nuanced takes abt how he's actually a shit person is just kinda boring and simplifying. .. also for sillies i will say :-3 his autistic swag of being very blunt perhaps plays a part. like my guy absolutely does not know he can't just be saying stuff to people sometimes .. tmn even comment on it and call him "blunt and abrasive and awkward" (paraphrasing but it's those words). . like cad's a weirdo and sometimes that is simply in a way that is off-putting. also its hard for u to think you're wrong about stuff when youre literally getting messages from god about the Correct things.. so, lol. . i love him he's just a silly little guy

actually i dont think ive mentioned my impulse headcanon here so im gonna talk about it

does anyone else remember season seven? where impulse said "i think i'm human", then laughed it off as a joke? well that line lives in my brain rent free. he thinks hes human. but hes not sure.

and really, why would he be? he was summoned. he eats amethysts. he seems to be drawn towards totems, and he likes to sort items (literally invented the item sorter). what else fits that?

totems come from evokers. vexes are summonable. allays duplicate when given amethyst, and they also love to sort. impulse feels like something related to them.

vexes and allays are like. minecraft fae. impulse.... is a changeling.

hes human shaped, but not quite the same. he thinks hes human. he grew up with humans and never knew he was anything else. but there is something off about him, some traits that betray his true nature. back in season seven, he didnt know. he was starting to question it. i wonder if he knows by now.

and if hes a changeling, i wonder who he replaced.

Vox with a Famous Performer Reader

Heyyy, so this is my first time actually writing headcanons for Hazbin Hotel in general, so if its not that good thats probably why. This idea kinda sprang into my head and I really wanted to write for it without actually writing a fanfiction (though im not opposed to the idea).

On that note: Im taking requests for Hazbin Characters to strengthen my writing and really just practice. Ive gotten into the show lately. I also do other fandoms though currently just working on Hazbin. Thanks for reading!

You are a very famous Singer in hell, so I imagine that would garner a lot of attention, including Vox

He spots your talent from miles away and is immediately intrigued with you, especially if you are an upcoming singer, because he likes to be ahead of trends

He would offer you a deal with Vox tech of some sort, since he thinks your talent would go to waste with Valentino and Velvette isn't interested in you as a model, with really good benefits of course (if they have health benefits/ time off)

Definitely focuses on creating music videos of you and plastering your face on as many screens as he can to get the word out there about your music 

If you weren't spoiled before, he definitely is now gonna- best cars, best clothes, best of everything. 

Also, is sure to make every demon know that you are with him/ a vox production and a part of his employees (very prideful of this) 

I think slowly would start to gain feelings for you, however would be very unaware of these feelings and chalk it up to just thinking you are a great performer or thinking its respect

Valentino and Velette do make fun of him for how much actual effort he is putting not only into your career but into you! 

Like- he cares about your feelings and is doing way too much for someone who is just supposed to be using you for your talent for his gain. 

“Aww come on Vox, you like the little ‘estrella’. Its clear from how you treat them-” Valentino would tease  

“Yeah, your more pushy with their career than any other demon i've seen. Its clear you like them-” Velvette would back up. 

Only then does Vox begin to realize he likes you and cares about you- Like actually cares about you

Has a fear of you signing with a different agency/manager and leaving him- not because of how he benefits but because he knows others would use your talent and exploit you.

This is random but here are my six of crows friendship headcanons

Jesper + Nina: They go to each other after fights with their boyfriends and give each other terrible advice. They are probably the first to get out the popcorn at any sign of drama and i just know that they go and get waffles together so they can bitch about everybody else. I think they would be one of the best friend duos.

Wylan + Matthias: They sit in comfortable silence most of the time, but they're actually really good friends. I can imagine Matthias and Wylan with mugs of tea just sat there quietly while Matthias watches Wylan draw and makes suggestions. They are weirdly in sync and really understand each other.

Inej + Nina: Well, we see a lot of this in canon, but they're really close and emotionally support each other. Nina uplifts Inej and Inej soothes Nina. They defend each other and probably parade around with linked arms laughing together.

Kaz + Jesper: Sibling dynamic. Constant bickering, and will disagree with each other just on principal. Beneath that, though, is an unbreakable bond and they love each other to the ends of the earth.

Wylan + Kaz: They're both the most cunning and clever in the group, so they probably spend a lot of time scheming, both together and against one another. I imagine board games with Wylan and Kaz would be INTENSE. At the same time, they understand each other really well and probably confide in each other to some extent.

Kaz + Nina: She annoys him just because it's funny.

Jesper + Inej: One of the closest bonds imo... Jesper brings Inej the confidence to be loud, bold, and to have fun, while Inej brings Jesper inner confidence and he feels peaceful and can be vulnerable with her. They were the first friendship in the crows and they are the glue of the group. They turn to each other in their darkest, most vulnerable moments.

Matthias + Inej: Again, i think there's a lot of quiet understanding there, but Inej brings out a more relaxed side of Matthias and Matthias makes Inej feel understood to some extent (with them being the only religious members of the group) Matthias looks to Inej for familiarily and for a perspective he feels he can trust.

Matthias + Kaz: I can't see them as friends exactly, but they nod politely at each other and talk grudgingly while their girlfriends hang out. They make fun of each other a bit but don't mind each other, really, and they have built some sort of trust.

Nina + Wylan: She teases him A LOT, more so than Jesper, but they are fond of each other. They have a relatively surface level but still very sweet friendship and look out for each other, even if they aren't super close.

Wylan + Inej: They strike me as the two most emotionally intelligent of the group, so they would get super close really quickly, and the rest of the group treat them sort of like gurus or fountains of knowledge when it comes to relationships and emotions. No conflict, strong trust, probably have deep convesations. They have a deep respect and admiration for each other and will big the other up behind their back. When Wylan has a new idea for music or something, Inej is the first to hear it because he values her opinion so highly.

Matthias + Jesper: They care about each other, but don't really get on as friends. Jesper teases him a little and Matthias responds earnestly, there isn't any chemistry there, but they are civil and are still bonded through the group and would risk their safety to help the other.

And then you know the relationships already so thats just the friendships!

Eyes of the SEES members ~

I’ve always admired artstyles where every character has super unique and recognizable vibes, so decided to try it with the gang. Super fun, highly recommend!

In the process of designing these I developed headcanons for each of their eyes, kind weird but if you want to read me ranting about why I drew Yukaris pupils a certain way or whatever, feel free to click read more lol.

Makoto: I wanted him to look tired, so a lot of his eyelashes go downward instead of upwards, also eye bags because he has insomnia and you can’t convince me otherwise. I didn’t want his eyes to look hollow/empty, but I didn’t want to put super obvious highlights and I think it works? Idk. Also drew his eyes in a way that reminds me of the ocean at night (Atlus gave me a ocean/water motif and I run with it ok?). His eyebrows are kinda “messy” in comparison to the others but I think it makes his eyes prettier so it is in character to me.

Yukari: I wanted her eyes to look a little more intense and turned them a little to give them a slightly “angry look”. Yukari should have a light case of rbf imo. I feel like Yukari puts a lot of effort into her appearance, and she probably wears more makeup but I cannot draw that to save my life lmao. Her eyebrows are probably the least messy other than Mitsurus, for the same reason as the previous one. Also hard to tell, but I put hearts in her pupils because it’s cute. Really proud of these ones, they read like hers so well to me.

Junpei: Junpeis eyes were so fun to draw! I feel like he’d have pretty short lashes and slightly smaller eyes, but still very vibrant! I really wanted his eyes to look full of life but still pretty simple, and I think I did pretty well! They feel very expressive to me. Also I feel like he’d have naturally very thin eyebrows, so gave him that lol.

Akihiko: idk how I feel about these, but I guess they’re alright? Gave him a kinda intense stare ig. I gave him really long natural eyelashes because I feel like he’d have them (canonical pretty boy that he is) and I’m somewhat proud of them because I stuggle with making longer eyelashes look masculine so guess this is a win. Gave him an eyebrow slit because I was so sure he had one in p4arena only to find out he didn’t even have eyebrows in it. What.

Fuuka: I feel like Fuukas neutral expression would still look slightly confused/concerns so her eyes are a little droopy. Gave her short but thick eyebrows because I thought it would be cute. Her eyes kinda remind me of rain and I like that! Also sidenote love the fact that official art draws fuuka with teal eyebrows. The implication that she was either born with teal hair or is so dedicated to the dye job she even dyed her eyebrows is hilarious to me. I know blue is treated as a normal hair color in persona-universe but Fuuka is literally the only one with teal hair how is it not dyed but yosuke and chies is??

Mitsuru: I wanted Mitsuru to be pretty. I gave her thinner but crisp eyebrows and eyeliner. I was a little worried because before I started shading her eyes looked kinda evil?? Lol but they turned out better in the end. Didn’t do a lot of details in her eyes because it felt like it worked better that way, but gave her bright highlights in her eyes to make up for it.

Aigis: These are my least favorite, and the first ones I did. Not sure if thats awful, because I wanted them to be very different from the rest. I feel like Aigis doesn’t actually have this wide eyes but willingly widens them so you can see the whole iris. I feel like her eyes would look more normal at a distance, and most of her classmates just assume she’s got weird eyes because they’re an uncommon eye color (major “give her brown contacts please” energy). Made her eyes look like does target-thingys and slightly plastic-y.

Ken: I didn’t want his eyes to be to bright, but still lively and childish. I gave him round wide eyes + smaller and thicker eyebrows to give a more childish feel. His eyelashes are pretty short but made them point more downwards since they looked too cheerful when turned upwards.

Shinjiro: dunno how readable these are as shinji, but theyre fine. Made his eyes very dark and put bright highlights cause I thought it looked better than the grey he actually has. Also gave him major eyebags because man has not had a good nights rest since like. Last October (sorry)

sure! he was cute. sure. but so goddamn annoying. the way he’d snicker back to his friends when he complimented you, rolling your eyes in response.

“ynnnnnnn! love your skirt~” which might have been a normal compliment, if you weren’t adjusting it from when it rode up, so you just scoff in response as he turns to his friends, a giddy smirk on his face. “see guys, she’s literally sooooo into me.”

the way he’d shamelessly eye you in that one class you had together, looking up from your laptop and catching him with that stupid (incredibly charming!!!!) smile, raising his eyebrows and you just look away, not really wanting to give him the attention he wants.

little do you know, he loves this— a little too much. the rush he gets when you call him an “asshole” under your breath, or how pretty you look when you give him that face. he likes it. and sure, this game is cat and mouse was fun, but he honestly wanted it to end.. or at least see you get pissed at him again <3

so at the end of class, with a snicker, his fingers wrap around your wrist, pulling you back to him. “cmere, ynieeeee~” the way he said your name has your blood boiling, not to mention the way his friends crowd at the door, watching you two. “yn, your skirt is really cuteeee, seriously. and your top, too!” he grins, eyes traveling to your chest. he only likes the top because it’s low cut. “fucking creep!!” you slap his hands away, stepping away as you eye him up and down.

“that’s exactly why you should date me, yn. persistent? shows you that i care. annoying? can’t really cheat, other girls find me annoying too. we don’t know eachother? that’s fine, yn. i can just adapt to what you need. please….?” he says, tilting his head as he now waits for you to say anything. one case, he would be thrilled to finally end the chase, now having to dedicate his life to annoying you in a relationship, but if you reject him? that’s fine. he still loves the thrill of how badly you treat him…

you step closer to him, putting a hand on his shoulder as you look up at him, a shy smile on his face. “awwww, beomgyu!!!! well… in that case… maybe fifth times the charm?” you giggle as you leave him, waving at him like nothing even happened.

“but guys!! she touched me!! and she said maybe next time!! she literally is sooooo down bad for me. i’ll bag her any day. just watch.” he says, catching up with his friends as they just laugh at him.

i have been thinking about walnut so much lately.. more specifically her character development as well as her relationship to both roguefort and her mother. ill focus on her and roguefort more in this post though :] im gonna try to be comprehensible in this one but thisll be a doozy

what i find interesting is that in every case we've seen walnut and roguefort BESIDES their release event, walnut has always defended them. In the butter painting affair she knew that they would have left a calling card, in the lost holiday she knew that they wouldnt have done any harm to eggnog cookie, and in face the trial she knew they wouldnt have stolen something with such little value. Theres a big contrast between her first interaction with them in their release event and how she treats them from that point on, and its clear that they dont have quite the rivalry that was shown in that first event. Walnut isnt nipping at their heels every chance she gets lol

i think that from the start, roguefort has always been fond of her,, in a mentor or parental way almost; they see her potential. they see her skill. they want to watch her grow, to see her learn from her mistakes and become a better detective and a better person. in the lost holiday the calling card was a gift itself - they know how much she loves doing detective work and they want to encourage her, though if they break character then the game isnt fun anymore and it feels less genuine ,, so they observe her from a distance. I do think that they wish they could care for her more but they have to be discreet about it since theyre. yknow. A thief and supposed to be her most hated rival (be weird abt these two btw and i will eat your fingers)(dont ship them)

i dont know if this was intended to be canon or not, but thinking about how roguefort left in their release event feels,,, strange? If the boat was far enough from the docks that nobody was trying to stop them, then surely they couldve escaped with the jewel still in their hands. sure, they threw to distract everyone and allow them to escape, but there was a Whole crowd of people there ? if walnut had caught the gem, someone else could have jumped onto the boat and caught them. i like to interpret it as them trying to reward walnut. While they werent going to turn themself over just like that, they wanted to give her a prize for being smart enough to solve their puzzle. They wanted to encourage her by giving her back the gem, even if Cheesecake had a spare and nothing would have really changed if they had kept it :]c

heres my interpretation of them, and its mainly based off of the lines "One logical answer always exists!" "One logical answer? Sounds rather... dull."

in the start, walnut did consider them rivals. She was pretty young at the time and still figuring the world out so she saw them basically as a supervillain, basically just a person filled with pure evil intent and thats... Obviously not who they are. but little wawer just saw someone stealing and went Ah evil!! Evil!!!!! you are WRONG and you must be STOPPED!!! And thus their rivalry began. Also why she was so bitter towards them in the first event :]

in the events of search for lost time/pursuit of lost time, though - and keep in mind, this is completely based on my own headcanons since we hardly know anything abt these costumes - walnut realizes a shift in their behavior. At some point, they even put their own life on the line just to save her... would an evil, cruel person really do something like that? Why would they risk themself to save her when all shes ever done is try to have them arrested?

this is when she starts to realize that not everything in the world is black and white. Not everything has one logical answer. What is rogueforts motive? that is one messy question with multiple answers and none of them are logical. This also goes into my headcanons with her relationship with almond but thats for another ask heehee... Walnut starts to realize other things, too. Roguefort always leaves a calling card, and theyre always incredibly polite to everyone, even the authorities,, of course thats just phantom thief stuff but she realizes that they really arent just some villain. Theres much more to them than some urge to cause mischief and steal from others. in my timeline, all of the other events take place after search for lost time/pursuit of lost time, and this is where walnut starts to defend them rather than just try to chase them.

At this point, i dont think walnut wants to see them behind bars anymore. that was pretty clear when she was distraught at the sentence cappuccino gave them. i think shes conflicted about them. She wants to know the truth about who they are, and why theyre doing everything. She wants to see them change - for them to start doing good. but at the same time, she doesnt. at the same time,,, roguefort is one of the only ones who takes her seriously

Almond is the most guilty of this, and ill elaborate on that in another post, but oh Boy does he make walnut feel worthless and dumb. walnut is always trying to act more mature, more professional and less child-like despite Very much being a child, first example off the top of my head being her not wanting to decorate her office for the holidays and also the way that she always calls almond by his name instead of mom/mother(or dad/father if we're not talking about my hcs lol). She doesnt want to be treated like a child. and to some extent, yeah, people baby her!! almond told cappuccino he was scared that shed eat a Rotten jelly are you fucking kidding me ? (dont even get me started on the one twitter art where hes worried that roguefort kidnapped walnut i do Not consider that canon because from what weve seen abt how he acts towards roguefort?? No the fuck he wouldnt????) he didnt want her to be involved in the butter painting affair because it was "dangerous" despite it basically being identical to other theft cases shes dealt with and there wasnt any violence to begin with. in her story even, people usually let her investigate just because shes cute which.. works in her favor but also FRUSTRATING because its only because shes a kid. almond is always talking about how worried he is that she'll get into trouble and YES she is a child she does need some sort of supervision but shes also so much smarter than people give her credit for. she has so much potential thats being wasted purely because people think shes too young, though at the same time, i think walnut overestimates herself. i think that because of the lack of support she gets from almond and other adults in her life she tries to go above and beyond to Prove that shes better than she actually is and that shes worthy of being a detective and taking on more cases and ends up getting hurt because of it (cough sflt). she tries to act more mature because she wants people to take her seriously but she is a Child and thus people will just look at her and go "Aww! what a cute little detective :)"

i think that the reason why shes so involved with rogueforts cases is because theyre the only one who takes her seriously. They do tease her about it - this is seen throughout all of the events but most specifically in the first one when she gets upset at them calling her "little detective." though they still take her seriously. They see the skill she has now, and they dont just see what she could be in the future. theyre more focused on supporting her now and giving her encouragment and more puzzles to solve rather than babying her and telling her she'll be a great detective someday like everyone else. thats especially important to walnut considering almond does Not show her the same support and is more often restricting her and trying to get her to stop

if roguefort were to stop, to be arrested or to decide that their life of crime was over, walnut wouldnt have that support anymore. Thats terrifying to her. while she does want what is best, there is also a part of her thats a little selfish and just wants things to stay the same forever.

idk where to put this but im elaborating more on her wanting to learn more about them. because really she shows a much deeper understanding and respect than most other characters despite them being her supposed rival ? Lost holiday in specific was so funny because she was so chill with them like "yeah i know you probably didnt do it lol i just needed to have u here just in case" ANYWAYS just the fact that she keeps standing up for them is enough to show how much respect she has for them. The general public is SO cruel and dehumanizing towards them through either idolization or vilification or both at the same time and shes one of the few who actually treat them like a person. she doesnt like it when people are unnecessarily cruel to them, like almond insisting that she stays out of the butter painting affair despite them not committing the crime or her reaction to the harsh jail sentence cappuccino gave them. Both almond and cappuccino are characters who are very close and friendly with her, might i add, and yet she still wants to protect roguefort. She knows that they deserve so much more than how the public and how authorities treat them, thief or not.

anywasy yeah um. In summary. i think that the two lines "One logical answer always exists!" "One logical answer? Sounds rather... dull." symbolize them quite nicely ... roguefort is a motivation for her, a mentor disguised as a rival. they teach her more about the world and detective work. they made her realize that not everything is black and white and taught her to people and situations in more complicated shades of gray. and i think that it goes the other way, too - in a world where roguefort is so Deeply misunderstood and misjudged, walnut tries to stand up for them and does understand them, to a degree. better than anyone else at least. she gives them hope.

He's a very difficult platonic yandere to have because you simply can't take him seriously and he can't take you seriously.

Mephisto is a case in which you know from the beginning that he is a screwed up father, and not in the "trash man" sense but in the sense that he has something wrong in his head and he knows it himself.

He is like the Mad Hatter in several ways. and you are Alice. HIS ALICE.

Don't get me wrong, of course he loves you, you are the Apple of his eyes, although at first he definitely only kept you out of a kind of curiosity to see how you would turn out once you grew up having been raised by him.

Would you be chaotic? His total opposite? A little of both? Maybe like Amaimon? As long as you weren't like Lucifer, he was quite amused by any outcome.

What he didn't expect was growing up to love you very fast. But he was pretty fine with it. Being your "Dad" was interesting for him and he did have fun when he did it.

And precisely although you interacted with him daily while you were growing up, not only did he raise you, but also maids and other services, it is thanks to that that you knew the difference between good parenting and what HE did.

He was not exactly bad at the start, just too chill, too relaxed, he was NOT an authority figure, but more than anything, this am

Although while you were little, there really were no Yandere tendencies other than the standard honestly.

If he can't watch you, Amaimon does, and while he's not nearly as clever as your father, he definitely asks too many questions and eats too much.

When he is the one watching, he tries to talk to you casually, as if nothing happened. If not, try to remember old moments from the past, but really? it only makes you feel worse, you already have to deal with his current yandere tendencies and your little consolation is the good memories you have FROM THE PAST.

Platonic Yandere Lucifer

He's a suffocating platonic control freak Yandere, I mean, you can see it by how he has the Illuminati.

You are Lucifer's daughter after all.

But in general, Lucifer tries to remain very patient with you. You can insult him, try to hurt him, it doesn't matter, take out your anger however you need, you won't be leaving his sight any time soon.

He tries to make me see things "his way", explain himself, but the truth is you don't listen to him anymore...why should you? after all he doesn't do it when you CLEARLY want to LEAVE.

He would continue to keep you inside the Illuminati base, but he is not above using more drastic isolation methods to avoid an escape scenario (which he may not believe is possible because now you are always accompanied by a member of the CULT Illuminati's to keep an eye on you. or keep you company).

Something that remains is that when he is very sick, whether out of habit, Stockholm syndrome, or pity for him, you go and read him a story, not as happy and lively as before, but in a way it gives him a new sense of hope to Lucifer.

Maybe he can make you love again like before, to have those moments again where both of you were good. He wants to have hope...

the hope that they can fix everything once the plan is put into motion, that he can FIX YOU somehow. be happy again...

but until then, he KNOWS he can't afford to lose you, even if you hate him, if you fear him, it doesn't matter right now. just don't leave him...

Overall i view Alastors role here as some flavor of queer platonic— he has the potential to be a caring partner but doesn't care much for romance specifically (yes my aromantic ass is projecting a lil shhhh)

My personal favorite take for them in canon is that eventually over the course of Alastors redemption he does eventually let Husk go— i have. Many feelings on that whole situation too but this is gonna be long already so SJDKEKDK just know i see them eventually getting to a point where they accept that neither of them are perfect and can let things go. Alastor considers Husk a very dear friend, and does in fact hold a high amount of respect for him, and Husk feels the same (although hes a little more Tsundere about it sksksksk)

Angel is very much so the glue that holds this ot3 together LOL

Like i think both Husk and Alastor fall for him first and through Angel find a way to actually communicate over the strange mix of feelings they've had with each other. Angels good at reading other people, he can tell they have *something* going on and isn't afraid to point it out.

I constantly see people making Angel hate Alastor but sorry no i do not agree at all.

Despite the initial impressions of each other, Alastor and Angel would be FANTASTIC friends. Once Alastor understands that Angels humor is just that, humor, hes not actually expecting anything from Al, he starts meeting Angel halfway on his jokes, adding onto them. Once they start to realize they can bounce off each other and actually bond oh god its OVER.

Alastor finds Angel actually very charming to be around, and Angel realizes Alastor isn't a prude or anything he just has some firm walls up.

God they'd be INSUFFERABLE together

Husk and Angel have the most "Romantic" dynamic of the three ofc, and Alastor is happy to spend their date nights off doing his own thing. Huskerdusts dynamic is pretty much exactly as canon— i don't have many notes to add to it i Genuinely love how canon is handling them so far.

I won't dive off into nsfw here kwkfkwkd but i DO have thoughts on how that would work in this lineup.

I will say overall i see Angel as hypersexual, Husk as Demi, and Alastor as a sex neutral-Ace.

DEPENDS... its hard without any specific prompts but yk what anon im capable of talking out of my ass no matter what.

this'll be talking about the main 12 i usually talk about, so if i say smth like 'so and so is the ONLY one who does this', they aren't actually the only one

toby rides a bike everywhere. he just steals random ones if he sees one he likes or knows hes hella far from home and doesnt wanna walk. brought home a pink beach cruiser once and natalie laughed her ass off. . .

the proxies (tim, brian, toby) have a cabin that tim and brian treat more like a safehouse rather than a home. tim and brian share an apartment near the city though. toby is the only one who lives there full time. they all have to pitch in for the bills, but toby has to scramble to get the majority bc again.. lives there full time.

the cabin only has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a connected kitchen/living room, and an attic. the small bedroom is filled to the fucking BRIM with random bullshit that they keep as storage but its just ridicoulous. like boxes filled with random shit toby steals (i kinda hc toby as a kleptomaniac too), tables, dressers, clothes, etc. a lot of it is also stuff that like, jeff or nat dropped off being like 'keep this safe for me' and it eventually just devolved into a storage room. the master bedroom is where tim or brian sleep IF they are at the cabin. toby made the attic his bedroom, but he falls asleep on the couch or in the master bedroom if the other two aren't home. he just likes that the attic is someplace nobody else really wants to go cuz.. why would they need to?

tim owns a busted rusty reddish colored pickup truck. he totally named it something like sheila and calls it a 'she.' brian prob just has a basic little grey honda. does not name it . .

I'm ok with u. ur just fucking stupid. and she pokes fun at him being a mamas boy and says thats why shes ok with him. she stopped talking to him for like a month the one time he made a gender roles comment that he got from his dad.

natalie used to play volleyball and basketball growing up cuz again, grew up with boys and she was always really tall (like 5'7 in 6th grade, 6ft by highschool). sports and art were her ONLY outlets, but she was always degraded and shamed by her dad and brother for art. her dad loved that she played sports though, one of the only things he was supportive about . until she got a little older and he decided that being a tomboy wasnt as endearing on a teenage girl.

i cannot explain how close jane and her parents were. she was an only child in a upper middle class house to a lawyer and a real estate agent so she was always spoiled rotten, taken care of, always told how beautiful and smart she was. hence why losing them is the most fucking detrimental shit to ever happen to her. she literally worhsips her parents. she's wore mothers wedding dress to her own wedding. her uncle(dads brother) walked her down the aisle holding a framed photo of her dad. she almost refused to walk during her university graduation because her parents couldn't be there, despite the years worth of hardwork and dedication she put into it.

mary(janes wife) was janes bestfriend in highschool. it was one of those crazy homoerotic female friendships. they were eachothers first kiss even when they thought they were straight ("oh lets practice kiss for our future bfs!").

my idea of ben kinda combines the idea of ben the kid who drowned, and BEN the experiment to put souls into a digital afterlife. ben bought majoras mask from some creepy neighbor at a garage sale, and the neighbor had like. this completely absurd theory that he could put himself into a game or something. so he ended up tricking several kids into buying the same majoras mask cartridge, killing them after they beat the game together, and their souls DID get trapped in the cartridge but it didnt do much for his theory... WHICH MEANS that BEN is a culmination of several people, kids and teens raging from like 7-19, but the ben we know is sort of like.. the only one who escaped the cartridge (he was the last one killed and the reason the man got caught for murder)? but he was stuck in said cartridge for about like 7 years before he was 'reawoken' so traces of others souls are in him. ITS REALLY COMPLICATED it makes sense in my head but idk. he has a lot of identity issues that come packed with having his childhood stolen from him.

he's so close to sally because he relates to her on that level. while their trauma was different, being a kid taken advantage of and fucking murdered is insane. despite coming from completely different time periods (sally died in the 1900s, ben died in the 2000s), ben can only find himself truly relating to sally on an emotional level. sure, him jeff and toby can laugh and play video games and wrestle and stuff, but sally is the only one who can even begin to understand what it's like to be a dead kid.

sally and ben kinda make a lot of comments about humans and stuff LOL. most of it is in the 'you ungrateful pieces of shit you THREW AWAY YOUR LIFE' but sometimes it's something more bittersweet. 'you lived to adulthood, you have so much, you can do so much, please keep going, there's so much left for you, don't let it go' etc etc. they can sometimes be the wisest in their perspectives of life, death, mortality. but theyre both so bitter and traumatized and hurt but it that it's mostly overshadowed by envy. that's why the two of them can be so close, even if they dont really sit and like.. philosophize about life. lmfao

ben has gotten into several like police and governemnt systems and removed so many cctv footage of everyone getting in trouble, or even wiped their shit from systems. he is like the main reason none of them are in jail unironically.

jeff is the only one who truly enjoys murder. he's a sadist at heart and has a fetish for all this blood and guts. toby and natalie did have their own periods in life where they killed for relief/as a power trip(toby only ever did it under orders, natalie took some sleezy guys home from bars). the rest of them either aren't killers, or don't do it by choice (brian and tim).

Team pet is a fantastic prompt oh my god, you just know Lev walks into practice one day with a stray cat in his arms and it never leaves. At first Yaku's against it ("Why would you bring that inside, it could have rabies!") but all it takes is it rubbing against his leg and purring for Yaku to be converted into a full-blown cat mom. From then on he's the one bringing toys and treats and baby talking. Kuroo makes fun of him all the time and Yaku denies it but he doesn't stop.

Kuroo's canonically a dog person but he doesn't mind the cat, I think he's the type to talk to it like its a human and have (one-sided) conversations. When the team points this out he's like "Well at least he listens to me, unlike the rest of you". He also likes to ruffle the fur on it's head, reminds him of Kenma.

Kai brings a little bed for the cat and is the one to clear out a corner of the club room for it's stuff. If Yaku is the cat mom Kai is the cat dad. Everyone's always adding stuff to the cat nook, he's a spoiled little guy

Tora tries to teach the cat tricks as if it's a dog. He's really bad at it, he just commands it to do stuff as if yelling louder will make it suddenly understand english. Kenma tries to tell him to quit it but Fukunaga stops him— "I want to see where this goes." It ends with Tora rolling around on the floor like a moron while the cat just sits there watching. Who's training who? It's a mystery.

Inuoka chases the cat around, he's always the one to get it rilled up. He's been scratched the most times (along with Lev) but he hasn't given up hope, THEY WILL BE BEST FRIENDS. The cat can sense that he's the dog of the team

Teshiro's often found mid-staring competition with the cat, not intentionally they just get locked into it. They have a silent respect for each other

Despite being the one to bring it in the first place the cat has a love-hate relationship with Lev. He's not exactly delicate and always ends up scaring it or petting too hard. When school closes for holidays he's the one to take it home

According to promotional art cats love Fukunaga, and this is no expection. He brings laser pointers to play with before practice, his favorite thing to do it point it at Tora while his back is turned and watch the chaos ensue. The laser pointer also works on Inuoka.

Kenma and the cat take naps together, it's often found curled up on his lap or stomach during breaks. Very cute, the team has taken a lot of pictures

Petting the cat is Shibayama's stress relief after practice matches, especially once the 3rd years graduate and he's the main libero. He does this before games to get in the right headspace too, it's become a routine.

The cat is basically team mascot and it's in all their group photos. Their not allowed to bring it on the bus but whenever another school comes for a practice match they're sure to show him off.

First of all i think that his relationship with Peter Walter I would be far from close. he would be seen as the type of child who's both "too much mess to take care of" and "strong enough to take care of himself" if that makes sense. Peter did love him as his creation but would openly admit that he's not his proudest one, meanwhile Jon wouldn't feel much connection at all. he sympathized with his creator but only in a way he would with any other human being, there was more gratitude than love

Jon struggles with constant malfunctions and his mechanisms are a mess (partially because he gets himself in trouble all the time), so at one point Peter would get tired of fixing him so frequently, and tell him that he can just "walk some things off". That thought stuck to the bot and he would think of all of his malfunctions as slight inconveniences, i mean, he can still perform so why pay attention to the constant neck pain or powering up struggles ? it just became a habit and he kind of forgot that things like that shouldn't be ignored

After a long while when Peter Walter VI grew up enough to start learning more about how automatons work, Jon would be used as a "lab rat" (not really but its just what he himself called it) for young VI to practice fixing mechanisms. thats pretty much when he heard "Wait this cant be right" about his messed up physical state for the first time in a long while. little Peter didnt get to fix all of the things that were wrong with Jon's body, but he did manage to take care of some of them, which almost surprised Jon with how nice it felt to not hear pieces of broken gears rattle in his head every time he moved (who wouldve thunk)

ok now to more lighthearted stuff !!

Jon actually has a very strong bond with Sam ! He loves watching the mustached man work and sometimes follows him around, just enjoying his company. At first Sam thought that the tone-gold automaton was creepy and uncanny, but grew attached to him and his stupidity (/lh). i also think that Sam would be one of the few Walter workers who dont baby the Jon and actually treat him like they would treat any other robot :3

Also Jon just loves his robot family endlessly. shocker !! im not sure how explain it but i think hes the only one to look at other Walter automatons and go "bro i love them so much" at all times. in his head at least. obviously he teases them and argues with them but he wont think twice before accepting a hug from his siblings (except for Upgrade theyre rivals /j)

Speaking of Upgrade !! They feel the most sibling-ish to me (aside from Rabbit & The Spine) because they constantly poke fun at each other yet they still are willing to give each other help and comfort when needed. She once had to carry him all the way back to the Walter manor because they forgot to take some extra cans of crystal pepsi

Also Upgrade got in an accident once which caused her to have a fractured face for a couple of days, and Jon was there the entire time to comfort her and constantly tell her that shes still very pretty

Unlike with other robots, the food that Jon eats doesnt just fall through his uncovered jaw/run into his boiler or anything like this, instead it just. disappears. once he closes his mouth the food just vanishes into the unknown, yet Jon claims that he enjoys the process of "eating" (nobody knows how it works)

LITTLE GIRLS THAT GO TO SPG SHOWS LOVE HIM !! once the band finishes performing, he constantly gets pulled away by a small giggling pink-ish blob to join their tea party or hula hooping contest. thats why he has quite a knowledge on "girly" themes and educates other automatons on the matter

Darling Dollz on youtube did a video on Strawberry Shortcake, which prompted me to brainstorm a SS reboot.

My conclusion was they should make Strawberry a magical girl/witch going to an academy where they learn to bake magical treats. Magical school is a typical, trope-y setting but you would mix it up because all the spells have to be food, + I think all the animals in the world would be a combination of animal and a food item. Hence why strawberry gets her pink cat as a flying fairy familiar.

The ideas also perfect for a toyline because you could directly compete with all the other "school" lines (MH, RH, blah blah), but have a totally different gimmick and style by leaning in to the 1980s poofy, cottagecore dresses AND also having the gimmick of having scented dolls + cute animal sidekicks, magic potions and so on.

I would propose Strawberry is similar in personality to Jenny Nicholson's headcanon for Applejack that she brainstormed in a video a few years ago. She's from the country, a farmer, but when she discovers she's a witch (by baking a magical strawberry shortcake that does something wacky like make her grandma float into the sky) she has to go to the magic school. There, she can meet other typical kid tropes turned into food and she also pretends not to be a farmer because she's embarrassed about it. Magical schools are also great for having kids of many different backgrounds and you could use it as an opportunity to show off foods from different cultures.

Episode ideas:

-someone bakes a cake that turns into a monster (ez)

-a monster attacks and they need to bake like a magic blueberry pie to defeat it but they dont have any blueberries so they make something else and somehow befriend the monster

-episode that is solved when classmates combine two seemingly contradictory flavors (obvious metaphor about sharing cultures)

-characters try to gift a magic troll new foods but hes very picky and keeps getting upset; finally they talk to the troll and realize he would just prefer to eat gravel and thats okay (this is about how people should be less pushy and annoying at picky eaters)

-theres a baking competition headed by the evil substitute teacher that causes rifts in the school (its just a parody of the show Chopped)

-an evil witch turns the entire school into chocolate and wild animals start eating it. i dont know where this one goes it just sounds fun

-a season finale where magic is disappearing and all the little fruit animals are turning back into fruit (very sad) and the kids go on an adventure to fix it.

Anyways I will take no notes on this concept, it is perfect and they should hire me to make it.

Teru has dedicated his life at his work of being an exorsist and he doesn't really had much freedom to get interested or to dedicate time on something that he really wanted, his relasionship with you is one of the things he let himself to be a little more selfish with, thats why Teru loves whenever you talk about what you love and are passionate about

Teru probably doesn't particulary finds the sea that interesting but he loves hearing you talk about what you like, so if you love the sea then Teru loves hearing you talk about it whenever you are just having time to relax, even if you dont know much or just loves how pretty is that doesn't stop Teru from finding it quite cute (and will probably tease you about it)

Whenever you learn something new related to the sea Teru is more than happy to heard you talk about it, or even if you want to rant about how much you love the sea is fine for him too (just not when he is busy, he prefer it to be when is just the two of you because it helps him relax from his stressful life), he even motivate you to talk about what you love from time to time just to be able to see you all happy and excited

Teru sometimes likes to daydream about the posibility of going to the sea with you and sharing the experience that he knows you'll love, thinking if having just some time for just you two to have fun and relax, honestly Teru thinks it would be amazing but is more likely that it won't be able to happen (or at least not soon) because of how demanding his work as an exorsist it is and how there are still things he has to take care of, so he just hold that wish as a distant desire (and is more likely that he doesn't tell you about it neither)

It can be that you say it by accident or that you decide to tell him that once you had the desire that die on the sea, commiting suicide somewhere you love so much, no matter how you ended up telling him this it is going to be something that get stuck in his head for way too long, making him anxious and incredibly worried, even when he doesn't express it. Teru tries to don't have much of a reaction when he heards it, treating it more as a joke or asking you where did you get that idea from but it is all just to don't let you know how bad this is affecting him

For Teru, letting you be close to even be in a relationship with you show that you are really important, you mean way too much for him and losing you is something that scares him, so you admiting that you have a desire that involves your own death makes him really nervous. Teru won't handle it too well, being anxious by the idea of losing you and yet being too stubborn to show you how much he worries, is more likely that Teru will be paying close attention to you for the next days, wanting to find out if is just something you thought once or if it is that you have an actual suicidal ideation (or even worst), he is too scare of asking because he fears that the answer he gets shows that you actually want to die, so he will more likely be in denial while also trying to get more information from you

Even if you reasure him that is something silly you thought some time ago he won't be too convinced and will still be cautious with how he talks and behaive with you, not wanting to upset you and just making sure you know he does love you and he will be really affected if something happens to you
