As someone who uses fiction (privately) to safely help with my paras and as a way to work through trauma, I'm tired of people saying fiction doesn't effect reality.

Yea, you can use it as a way to vent things and do whatever, and as long as you don't hurt anyone irl thats fine, but fiction itself still effects reality. It's about fiction as a whole/overall, not what one person uses it for.

Sorry it's just a pet peeve of mine. Like,,, hello? I think when people say it doesn't effect reality they mean that people aren't bad for what fiction they engage with. So maybe a better phrase would be Fictional consumption ≠ Oneself?

And usually that's their shit to deal with. Regardless of whether or not they work, irl in our society we have authority figures who are payed to take on responsibility of the wellbeing of private people.

He's gonna inconvenience himself. Make his own life harder. To help out someone else who was on a position where he couldn't make sure he was fine himself.

Like sure, you want to see your fave happy I get it but also be aware that Tommy's support net is made of sillystring and at some point y'all low-key sound like sociopaths when you try to tell us why we are wrong to be pissed that someone who's in a far safer position decides that taking one of those silly strings from Tommy is a worthy sacrifice.

Like. Yeah. Choosing yourself above someone else doesn't make you any worse of a person. But getting pissed at the people pointing at the worse position of that someone else is genuinely uncomfortable behaviour.

Because it's never really about their characters well being. No. It always comes off as them putting the fictional reputation of this fictional character over the fictional wellbeing of that other fictional character. Which yeah. It's fucking fiction. We all know that. But guess what. When both characters are fictional their status as fictional starts mattering less when it comes to how you talk about their conflict.

Now if it's something involving a real person and a fictional character you always choose the real person because. Guess what. They're real.

But when it's just fictional characters? It's more of a thought experiment. And the way you approach the situation becomes... Well...

Like. You know dream apologists? You know how he reason we are all so fucking uncomfortable with them isn't because we genuinely think they're all irl abuse apologists but because the way they talk about this fictional abuse is still uncomfortable and reinforcing actual existing opinions about actual abuse?

Kinda similar to that.

Like again. Obviously I'm not fucking saying that your enjoyment of fictional media reflects in any way your irl thinking or acting.

But that doesn't mean it's not fucking uncomfortable how people go above and beyond to make sure that their fictional character is not morally compromised in accounts to that fictional child.

Their fave character can absolutely be morally grey in all other accounts. But when it comes to cTommy they're apparently squeaky clean.

And that's not even the fucking shit us Inniters are complaining about.

Yeah, I do absolutely agree with you. That's also the reason why I'm kinda uncomfortable with that sort of reasoning.

This idea that just because you don't owe something to someone you shouldn't help them is absolute bullshit.

And it's also, sadly, the sort of mentality that facilitates abuse irl. This idea that "it has nothing to do with me, so I'm not gonna get involved" that's exactly how people justify not helping to themselves.

And, news flash: much like there is no such thing as a completely neutral party in a conflict, there is also no such thing as an innocent bystander in an abuse scenario. If you stay out of a conflict you're taking the side of the stronger party. If you don't intervene in an abusive situation you're aware of you're taking the side of the abuser.

Of course, this is a very simplified explanation of the issue (which means that, yes, there are gonna be exceptions and considerations to be had case by case), but I think that's why it feels so uncomfortable for me, and possibly for you as well. Because, despite the fact that we're talking about fictional characters in a fictional scenario, some of those arguments are still all too real. They are things you hear. Things some people believe irl.

All this is to say that it's just a shit argument. Because of course nobody is forcing you to do things for the people around you, but you do them because it's the compassionate thing to do, and because you'd want someone to do that for you if you were in that position.

And sometimes the right thing to do is inconvenient, or hard, or scary, but, guess what? Someone has to do it. Especially in a context like the dsmp where there are, like, 30 something people living in the world, and half of them are assholes. Like, somebody's gotta help.

Well I know for a fact riot doesnt care or want to make them canon and I dont really care abt it (hell ive been a riot consumer for a while, its always like this with me). They only have 2 real interactions and they ARE about secrets (1 being cypher telling omen he has the information he asked for and is waiting on payment for it and 2 being omen telling cypher if what he saw under his hood scares him). It suggests that they're mostly strangers to each other and I believe thats exactly what they are... in canon.... so like... free space for me to make a montage of them getting to know eachother LMAO

LOVE Love love love any art/fic where omen knits cypher stuff. Its cute as shit, hed wear it. I like art of them being affectionate too, even if i believe theyd b private abt it cause i think omen deserves some hugs and i think cypher deserves giving hugs too. I do have a pet peeve, which is weird possessive content of them. I dont find possessiveness or over jealousy sexy in any way, I think its childish. I also dont like when ppl make cypher like, too much of a pushover next to omen being overly mean? Like, omen is just mostly ominous towards his allies and cypher is... very much someone who pushes ppls buttons, you get me?

Storm's solo Hobbies

Storm really really really loves to read. This is part of the reason why her and Satan get along so well. She loves reading books on philosophy, horror stories, fan fiction from her favorite shows/movies, graphic novels/comic books...pretty much anything she can get her hands on. Her favorite books/stories are The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka, Under the Dome by Stephen King, and The Pendulum by Edgar Allen Poe.

Storm really loves to sing, but she often does so in private because she gets too nervous in front of others. Lucifer actually caught her singing in the shower once, and now has her sing for him from time to time because he loved her voice so much. He's the only one she will voluntarily/knowingly sing in front of unless she is very intoxicated

Storm really loves to paint. She typically doesn't have a purpose in mind when she puts her paint to paper, but often times she is influenced by strong emotions. A lot of her works are very abstract and she doesn't share them with anyone really. She keeps them in a file organizer in her room. I have a feeling someday someone may find them though. Lol

Storm is a big fan of interpretive, exotic, and pole dancing. She moves very gracefully and finds the intense emotional movements relaxing. She absolutely refuses to do these in front of others because she'd sooner die of embarrassment but sometimes Mammon, Lucifer, or Levi will sneak in to the work-out room to watch her.

Storm also likes to write poetry. Usually this is how she gets her anger out and is able to remain so calm lol.

She likes doing some other stuff too (cooking, listening to music, going on nature walks/hikes, stargazing) but the ones above are her go-tos.

Lucifer & Storm's hobbies

Going to plays/musicals/shows/operas. Thats one of their favorite things to do with each other. Lucifer loves having an excuse to get Storm all dressed up in fancy clothes and show her off in addition to watching her so thoroughly enjoy the plot of a show, and Storm loves the theater!

Fancy dinner dates. Lucifer likes this one for the same reason as above, plus he just likes to spoil Storm to no end. She feels guilty about how expensive the things Lucifer does with her are at first, but he does tone it down when she expresses her discomfort with him spending so much on her (despite the fact that he can absolutely afford it and takes no issue with treating her like a queen)

Stargazing! Storm especially loves this one. The skies in Devildom are so interesting to her, and the various different constellations that litter the sky are very pretty. Lucifer likes this one as well, as it gives them some peace and quiet away from his brothers, and also an excuse for him to cuddle her (as if he needed one though lol)

Rock concerts. Storm really abhors loud noises normally because they often trigger headaches and exacerbate her tinnitus, but concerts are the one exception she is willing to make to that rule. She LOVES going to rock shows. They don't have to be in huge arenas, but she isn't opposed to that either. She may bring a set of ear plugs just in case the sound gets overwhelming, but usually shes fine! Lucifer at first sees this as a little barbaric (especially considering the first concert she took him to was fucking Korn), but it grows on him- especially when he sees how happy she is. He even begins to adopt her music tastes a bit and will stock his music library with music she enjoys. This is a thing they doo a bit more sparingly because of the noise issue- but they try to go to them at least once every couple months or so.

When they don't have much free time, they often just play a round of chess or cribbage, listen to music together while snuggling by the fire, or going a short walk with Cerberus.

Pet peeves

Lucifer: How he treats his brothers really pisses her off lol. Especially Mammon. She will put her foot down with him and often stand up for them when she feels he is being unreasonable. While Lucifer very clearly serves as the Paternal family figure, she serves as the Maternal side for his brothers...so they do listen to her when she tells them to do something/to stop doing something. Plus, she's got the power of the pacts. She will lessen the stress on Lucifer by helping keep them in line without violence and his behavior will change when she tells him how much it upsets her. Mammon may still be strung up from the ceiling from time to time, and someone may go without dinner here and there, but the punishments are way less harsh than they used to be- and the added fear of disappointing mama Storm helps alter their behavior- at least somewhat. (That's not to say there aren't still ridiculous antics that go on though. Lol)

Mammon: It really gets under her skin when he calls her worthless- even if he doesn't mean it (which he never does). It just brings up a lot of her insecurities whenever he says it, and reminds her of past abusive situations where the word was used to describe her. She doesn't mind most of the rest of his insults, and after she talks to him about it, he does it way less- but sometimes it still slips out. He is always immediately apologizing when it does though.

Levi: The yoda voice. At first she thought it was cute...and then he just...wouldn't stop...God...please make it stop.

Satan: The way he dresses. Like me in real life, I Hc that storm has pretty significant OCD traits. She primarily experiences contamination, order, and symmetry obsessions, and the way he wears his jackets trigger it SO HARD. like, she is aware that this is not his fault, and its for her to come to grips with, but she can't help but find that right eye start to twitch when she looks at his clothing for too long. She is trying her best to overcome it, because she really does love Satan a lot and he is one of the brothers she is closest too...but when he starts wearing his human world attire? Boy look out...

Asmo: Hugging her without permission- especially when he runs up on her unexpectedly. God she hates this SO MUCH. She has a very, very sensitive startle response as a result of her trauma, and the first time he does this she damn near has a panic attack. This is mostly from past trauma, but she tries to grit her teeth through it because he is always so genuinely happy to see her. After Lucifer gets her to finally start enforcing her boundaries, she will tell him how much it bothers her and he will do his best to stop. It takes awhile for him to actually commit it to memory, but he doesn't like making her uncomfortable so he will stop.

Beel: Talking with his mouth full. Look, Beel is always hungry, so he's always eating. But sometimes he gets a little too excited to spend time with Storm, so he tries to kill two birds with one stone by talking to her while he is eating. And this absolutely grinds her gears. She will politely remind him to wait to talk until he's done eating when it happens, but Beel will always forget.

Belphie: Falling asleep on her while she's talking. She knows that sloth is his sin, but it really irks her when she is in the middle of a conversation, or trying to ask for his advice on something, and he just zonks the fuck out. She won't dwell on it for too long because he is just so damn cute when he's asleep, but fuck if it doesn't drive her nuts.

Diavolo: Pushing work onto Lucifer last minute. Come on now, they had a date planned!! And hes just NOW remembering he needed that report by tomorrow morning that was originally not needed until Friday? Ugh.

Barbatos: When he brings up stuff about her past in conversation that she doesn't know that he knows about. Barbatos often forgets his foresight abilities and will often mention something casually in conversation about Storm's past or ask her a question about something from her past. Bonus irritation if it has something to do with her trauma or something super embarrassing.

Simeon: Overall, Storm doesn't have many qualms with Simeon...and that's the problem. Her pet peeve for him is that he's perfect...too perfect. She hates that her mind always wanders to what terrible thing is hiding underneath his lovely exterior. She gets so annoyed at how suspicious it makes her because she cannot believe someone is genuinely this loveable and pure.

Luke: When he tries to force-feed her his sweets. Again- like me- Storm has an eating disorder and struggles with her body image. She especially has a hard time with sweets and Luke will often relentlessly beg her to try what he makes, even going so far as to shove whatever it is in her mouth. She has a really hard time saying no to people, especially if they continue pestering her after the first no. And Luke will just keep giving her sweet after sweet until she feels terrible. Sometimes it could trigger a purge, but she knows he doesn't intend for that. Because he is so young, she just grits her teeth through it. Eventually, Lucifer gets involved and requests for him to stop if she tells him no, or just save something for her to try when she feels up to it. And he does listen!

Solomon: When he tries flirting with her. Storm does not care much for Solomon, mostly because he ticks her boxes for most of her pet peeves (he acts like he knows everything, he talks down to her, he's manipulative, etc), but the worst thing he does that she HATES is when he tries to flirt with her. He does it because he knows it gets under Lucifer's skin, and he likes seeing her get flustered. She tries so hard not to give him the reaction he wants, but fuck if it isn't damn near impossible- especially when he makes a crass sexual joke about her. Eventually she will get him to stop when she sobs to Simeon telling him how triggering it is for her past sexual trauma and Simeon relays this to him and scolds him for not listening the first 80 times she told him to stop, but she still never really feels comfortable around him alone after that.

and for the actual question, nope! i think hes a fine character, but i also kinda see him like a brother with my semi-self insert, so i like to tease him a lot >:)c

SO SFW AZ (Cutlass)

A: Affection (How affectionate are they with a s/o?)

Very tactile but also very stiff. It is fairly obvious Cutlass cares and she shows it more and more the farther into the relationship an s/o goes but it takes some guidance on what is appropriate and what you need. She tends to expect her partners to voice what you need and if you don’t she assumes those needs are met. 

B: Breath (What can their s/o do to take their breath away?)

Listening. Cutlass tends to be very action driven and when she does speak she hates repeating herself. Listening and actually doing what she’s asked (coughorderedcough) without making it a hassle actually shows her you care and respect her. It's the fastest way to leave her speechless and no those aren’t hearts in her eyes, keep working!

C: Cuddling (Do they cuddle? If they do, how and when do they cuddle?)

So long as she can be the big spoon she doesn’t mind cuddling but much like hugging she is a bit stiff. Being a little spoon is out of the question for the current Cutlass, it's too long to be wrapped up in someone but she will allow you to lay in her lap. Stay long enough and you might hear her purr or convince her to sing you to sleep.

D: Dream (What do they dream of doing with their s/o?)  

One of the few who enjoys what she does she actually would enjoy continuing to work on a ship. She fantasies, though she won’t say as much, her and her partner running all the seas. 

E: Effort (How much effort do they put into a relationship?)

All of it. She doesn’t take these things lightly and if she is going to make this work she’lll put in as much effort as she does with everything and demand perfection from it.

F: Fear (What do they do if their s/o is scared? How do they handle it?)

She tends to let her s/o fend for themselves unless asked. It’s not that she doesn’t care but she isn’t used to needing to look after someone but once she knows what you need she is quick to catch on and will do whatever you need. 

G: Gifts (What type of gifts do they give their s/o? Do they want a gift in return?)

She is fond of jewelry as a gift and enjoys seeing her s/o wear it.  She doesn’t care for many things in return but do something nice for her and she won’t forget it.

H: Hugs (Do they hug their s/o? How often?)

Hugs are difficult for Cutlass. She wants to trust people but the idea of them having a literal hold on her doesn’t sit well. As such she has developed rules, much to everyone's amusement. You have to show her your hands and she times each hug, no more than 15 seconds per hug. When giving hugs she tends to brisk and it is similar to hugging a tree. Give her some time and she’ll get the hang of it but don’t laugh at her counting or your ears won’t survive the shouting match that follows. 

I: Intimacy (How romantic are they? Do they have problems with intimacy?)

Much like her Tale counterpart she is fond of large gestures but hers tend to be aimed at describing her exact feelings. Romance? Have a ship full of red roses. Suggestive? Well now you have a box of clothes she would like to see you in. She isn’t shy in what she wants romantically or otherwise but it is new and she is prone to asking a thousand questions before going forth with any plans.

J: Jealous (Do they get jealous? How do they act when jealous?)

Not even slightly. Your hers and she’s yours and everyone knows it and if they don't’ she’ll just have to show them and you exactly what she means. 

K: Kiss (Are they a good kisser? Do they like to kiss? How often do they try to kiss you?) 

If she isn’t she is a quick study. Cutlass takes pride in doing her best at everything and that includes kissing her s/o. Her favorite place to kiss is actually your eyelids right as you close your eyes going in for a kiss but her favorite place to receive them is on the lips. Forget to give her one and she is likely to follow you and remind you why you shouldn’t forget by kissing you senseless, “AND NEXT TIME YOU WON’T FORGET, WILL YOU?”

L: Love (When do they say they love you? How often do they say it? Do they prefer to say it or show it?) 

You’ll rarely hear Cutlass say it unless you ask specifically or on “special” occasions. Its not that she doesn’t, she tends to rely on you interpreting all her actions and prefers gestures to words as words hold little weight for her. It can be a point of contention for some but she’ll try if you ask.

M: Marriage (Do they want to get married? If so what kind of ceremony?)

Of course. That’s the next step in dating she just...has to propose. She can stop laughing Buckle! And obviously the ceremony would be the grandest there ever could be so long as thats what her s/o wants. She isn’t sure what she wants because she’d never thought that you’d actually say yes.

N: Night Out (What type of dates do they like to go on? How often do they like to go on them?) 

A bit on the formal side and by the book Cutlass enjoys wining and dining her s/o on dates. All very classy and elegant, a show of her wealth and power but also a way for her to provide for you in the best way she knows how. She likes to have set times at least once a week but she’ll do more if asked. 

O: Out of the Ordinary (What’s something they don’t normally do for/with their s/o?) 

She isn’t one to give declarations but when given the opportunity she can sweep you off your feet with songs she may or may not have written for you. 

P: Playful (Are they playful in a relationship? If so, how do they play around/mess with their s/o?)

Much like her sister she is rather serious but she does enjoy good word play and innuendos, surprisingly her humor can be a bit crass. She isn’t a fan of physical pranks though and loses her temper with them fairly quickly. 

Q: Questions (Do they ask their s/o their opinion on things? Do they share theirs?)

Yes actually. Cutlass likes being in charge but she needs to know the rules first and she hates being ignored herself; she tries not to ignore her partner's wishes either. That said, she is hesitant and cautious about giving her own and when she does voice her thoughts it is only after she has stewed in them. 

R: Random (How spontaneous is their relationship? Do they do things on the spot or plan ahead?)

Not very. Cutlass has your relationship planned from the start till death do you part and she can be a bit fussy and jittery about kinks and sudden plans being thrown in the mix. She isn’t the biggest fan of change. 

S: Sleep (How do they sleep with their s/o?)

Unlike the waking hours sleeping Cutlass curls around her s/o like she can shield them from the world. She is a bit like an octopus in her sleep, good luck getting away or any space because she sleeps like the dead. 

T: Trust (How much do they trust their s/o?)

Completely. If she’s pursued a relationship with you that means she has waited until she already trusts you, she wouldn’t be in a relationship otherwise. 

U: Unique (What makes them unique as a s/o?)  

Skeleton. Hot. Pirate. 

V: Vulnerable (How long until they can be vulnerable around their s/o? What are they like in this state?)

Immediately but only in private. She becomes softer spoken, less temperamental and more willing to discuss rather than order. Her patience seems to lengthen as well and she trusts in you keeping her secrets as she’ll keep yours. 

W: Wild Card (Random domestic headcanon)

While she enjoys being waited on hand and foot, Cutlass does the same in return. Need a footrub? She’s on it. Shoulder hurt? Backrub time. Long day? She already has the bath going. She is an attentive partner and she shows it at every chance she gets, she’ll spoil you if you let her. 

X: X-Ray (What would they do if their s/o got injured?)

Very likely to freeze at first then work to get her s/o to safety. She won’t have a chance to do much else because Buckle will have already taken care of it.

Same as her sister she isn’t a fan of roughhousing and makes it known very, very clearly. 

Z: Zeal (Are they passionate as a s/o? Do they want or like passion?)

She is and she practically demands the same from her s/o. It may be awkward going at first as her version of passion isn’t to the definition but give her a bit of time and direction and she’ll get there.

My pet peeve is the headcanon that Laurent is actually a freak about sex. Like I read him as a very private person and he’s the kind of person who likes to be in absolute control of everything, so sleeping around just always seems so out of character for him. He likes it with Damen but I can’t see him sleeping with anyone else. Also sometimes it feels like people treat that as the only way he can truly be empowered by sex again which I find... odd.

(i personally dont think thats the only way he can be truly be empowered by sex again, thats not why im into it, but i dont think thats the most far fetched comment)

im obviously not in the same headspace but i hear you! i honestly do. to be fair i do think laurent can be very simple about sex, and very into sex within a relationship or “i just want the one” lifestyle, but also not. ive come to see him as pretty adventurous and fluid in his choices, meaning i think his character offers a lot of range in how i chose to view him, but thats a totally valid thing to think and im sure tons of people agree with you.

as  promised   here   are   some   pride   headcanons  .   the  questions  are  from  an   image  i   found  (  revised  for  rp  purposes  )   ,   feel   free  to  use  for  your  own  hcs  !

1. what is your muses sexuality ? : chad is a homoromantic demi-homosexual !

2. what gender does your muse identify as ? : cismale.

3. how long have they been aware of their sexuality and or gender ? : chad knew he was gay pretty much his entire life. he never had to think about it. he just knew "yeah i like boys" and that was that. he got kicked out of private school at age 10 for hospitalizing one of his bullies who called him a gay slur

4. do they have any preferences ? : not sure what this is asking, i assume it means gender preference ? but since my muse is gay it doesn't apply. 

5. share a positive memory of your muse coming out : chad came out to his brother and sister when he was ten. his parents found out chad was being called gay slurs at school after he hospitalized his bully. it was only fair he told his siblings. his sister took a while to wrap her head around the concept being younger, but she just wanted chad happy. his older brother was also extremely accepting of his brothers sexual identity. chad became even closer to his siblings that day.

6. how do they feel about pride month ? : chad loves pride month and is super obnoxious about celebrating it. he suppressed his sexuality throughout high school to avoid ridicule so like once he got away from that and felt more comfortable in his own skin. he is not shy about letting people know he is very happy to be gay.

7. do they participate in pride related events / any other events ? : my boy loves pride events. he went to his first pride parade in los angeles in university with his third boyfriend ( they were friends still at the time ) luca russo. chad wore the flag face paint and carried his little flag around. he was in awe of the festivities. he never had the guts to go to a parade before alone. 

since then chad has attended pride every year. even if he was single at the time. he does not miss a chance to embrace his identity.

8. how does your muse feel about lgbtq+ roles in media ? : seeing his community represented in media is very important to chad. as long as its done respectfully he is always happy to see queer folk in tv and movies. and like pretty much every person in the community, he hates queer baiting with a passion. the second he sniffs it chad will stop watching the program. he can tell  the difference between that and slow burn.

9. do they feel pride in who they are ? : chad struggled with his sexuality for a long time in fear of facing ridicule. it wasn't until he finally left home did he really embrace who he was. there was no reason to hide it anymore. in his adult life chad very much has pride for his sexuality and his community. 

hes heard stories from people in the past who wish they were different if only to stop the abuse. but chad has never wanted to be anyone else then the gay man he is. if given the chance he will provide a confidence booster in this regard. born this way by lady gaga is a huge inspiration for him.  ( yes i know it came out after he canonly died but on this blog we say fuck canon ) but lets clear the room, well chad is not insecure about his sexuality, he is overall stupidly insecure otherwise.

10. who has been your muses supportive idol in their self discovery ? : as chad didn't really have to struggle with finding his sexuality he never found reason to admire anyone. he does however look up to anyone who is comfortable with their identity and or a positive influence for the lgbtq+ community.

11. who was your muses first crush ? : chad was twelve when he started crushing on a boy in his history class. it wasn't anything more then wanting to hold his hand and sit next to him and smile. it was a fleeting fancy that chad got over in a short time. chad would often get soft feelings inside his chest for boys that would even simply smile at him.  but he once again would always suppress his desire for boys, never allowing himself to actually ask one out.

12. what advice does your muse have for lgbtq+ teens ? : if chad could go back and do it all again, he likely wouldn't have repressed himself. he would tell any teen in the community to never be afraid of who they are, if people didn't accept them then fuck those people. you are born who you are, and the real ones will love you for it.

13. has your muse come out to friends and family ? : yes he has. his parents and siblings know. ( see five ) chad never had friends really so there was no need to come out. most people who meet him in his college life onward, could just tell he was gay.

14. how does your muse feel about the phrase "coming out" ? :  chad sees this as letting your colours show. before you were kinda black & white like everyone else, the same, uniform. but then you let your colours come out & were seen as different.

15. do they believe there is a closet to come out of ? :  yes. the closet in his opinion is something you hide in until you feel safe to emerge. like if someone broke into your house, you hide until the danger has past. for some the danger might never pass, but if they stay in the closet forever they won’t have a chance to really live. sure they be alive but you won’t be living your life. being in the closet is safest, but its not really living. 

16. what's your muses biggest pet peeve when it comes to lgbtq+ characterization in media ? : harmful stereotypes. mostly because as a gay man chad can attest to certain things being common, and he knows he doesn't fit into a lot of those commonalities. particularly where sex is concerned. so it makes him a wee bit insecure. 

17. what's their favourite part when it comes to lgbtq+ characterization in media ? : finding someone he can relate too. he likes when gay men are portrayed for more reason then to be a token gay character. he likes a story with an actual backbone. something real. 

18. do they practice safe sex with the same gender ? : yes and no. he is very adamant about both parties being safe and comfortable but chad for most of his sexual career was a sub/bottom. he took it rather than gave it. his first boyfriend didn't like condoms, and chad being naive and fearful of him didn't ask him to wear one. the fact his boyfriend was uncovered was not what was making him the most uncomfortable so it wasn't really on his mind.

his following sexual relationship with boyfriend three fell into a similar pattern. chad didn't give he took,  and when he gave there was no coverage. since they were exclusive neither saw a need for protection. chad didn't see an issue with it.

boyfriend four insisted on wearing one most of the time, but since chad never penetrated him he never had to wear one.

patrick didn't give a fuck, a reason why chad insisted patrick wear a condom in the beginning of halloween part 1 cause he was worried about disease. in fact i hc they were unprotected until chad suspected cheating and got his boyfriend to cover up. although pat never asked chad too.

tldr; chad has little experience with protective sex but will always want to make things as safe as possible for his partner. so boy will wear the condom if asked.

19. what are their turn offs with the same gender ? what are their turn ons : turn ons are older men of authority. chad is very dominant in personality, but also has an extreme submissive side that can come out with the right partner. this part that longs to be taken care of is what attracts him to men in control. he also likes a man who knows what he wants, and has some culture behind him. ( talk dirty to him in another language and he will melt ) oh and praise is another huge turn on, he loves validation 

turn offs are pain. he doesn't like it. anything hardcore BDSM will have him running for the hills. no S&M. and anything demeaning, don't call him slut, whore etc. it makes him uncomfy. in terms of actual personality traits from men, anyone that acts like his first boyfriend ( leather biker, hot shot type ) will have him nopping out.

20. how does your muse feel about lgbtq+ clubs/apps/websites ? : this is a grey area for him as he is certainly in support of gay web content, its how its used that effects him. like, his experience with connecting with the community in any kind is limited to a general kink website which his boyfriend used to chest on him. so his feelings around that are a little uncomfortable. 

21. how do they feel about the term "queer" ? : chad has no issues with this word. he doesn't have anything deeper to say about it, other than it sounds close to queen in his opinion and he wears that label proud.

22. what tips would they give to heterosexual/cisgendered people looking to better understand the community and news surrounding it ? : chad would tell them to be open minded and not look at it with bias. forget about the hetronormative society you live in and just be open to another view. 

23. whats the most annoying question your muse has ever gotten for being lgbtq+ ? :  the most annoying question chad gets is when people ask who is the woman in the relationship. it really grinds his gears as something like that implies either he or his partner isn't a real man. it also makes him insecure as he is neither a masculine or effeminate gay. hes kinda of in between and it really rubs people the wrong way sometimes. because they expect him to act a certain way.

he acts gay, but hes more gay, and less gay depending on what people are seeing. so when people ask him if hes the man or the woman it brings out his rage over the fact that thats a homophobic af comment, and also his dilemma on what type of gay he is.

24. how do they feel about receiving questions about their sexuality and or gender ? : chad is overall not a super friendly person. i mean he can be, but his second language is bitch so be careful lol. so it really depends on who is asking and what they are asking. if a stranger is asking dumb shit he won't be inclined to give more than a "fuck off" but if someone he knows has some curiosities he wouldn't mind, depending on how invasive it is.
