ive seen posts that are like "geralt's pet names for jaskier"(very very good) but i havent seen nearly enough that are like "jaskier's pet names for geralt"(incredible unexplored concept)
#like. would he refuse to let jask call him that in public??? private pet names is an adorable concept#or like hes resistant to them at all as a concept at first becuz he isnt good at accepting/receiving affection#but he secretly loves it and eventually leans into it#also the potential for comedy there. like jaskier gets grabbed by bandits#and hes like 'my darling is gonna be SO MAD when he finds you. hes gonna be pissed!! cuz hes--'#(and hes abot to say Geralt Of Rivia but the bandit cuts him off here) eah yeah im sure youre boyfriends real strong whatever.#eventually geralt rolls up to a completely unruffled(but a little peeved) jaskier who exclaims in delight ''ger-bear!''#and he just casually in his everyday growly voice goes ''hey pumpkin'' while keeping his glare firmly focused on the bandits#who are simultaneously like YOU DIDNT SAY HE WAS A WITCHER(''you didnt give me the chance'') and UH?? PUMPKIN?????#the incongruity trips them up as much as their imminent deaths#i guess i just want them to love each other but not act all That different. other than casual displays of affection#that seem to otherwise conflict with their behaviors/personalities.#and then be faced with a straight man to react comedically and confusedly to the incongruency#because thats my brand of comedy#witcher tag#ogc tag
