I am halfway through The Last of Us tv and I’ve never cried more over so few episodes. Like actual sobbing. Especially for Bill and Frank. There story was so sweet and it made my queer heart sing to see a gay couple get to grow old together.

I loved your drawing(and I love your style in general) with Leia in your recent post! If/when you have time can we see more of her in your style? I get so happy whenever I actually see people mention/talk about her and she’s not just forgotten because we didn’t get to see much of her. 😭

thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

Once upon a time...

This portrait of the Queen & Prince of Spellbyndell was painted in honor of the princes 18th birthday.

Upon the momentous occasion of Young Prince Lumin's 18th birthday, the kingdom of Spellbyndell opened its gates to neighboring domains in the world of Regalia, inviting them to partake in the grand celebration. However, the festivities took a dark turn when the Queen of Spellbyndell was suddenly attacked by an unusual dark magic from behind, plunging the event into turmoil. The culprit was none other than the Lord of Witheringthorn, who seized the royal magical scepter and vanished in a cloud of green smoke. With the kingdom once again isolated from the outside world, the queen was attended to by her healers while the prince, accompanied by a select group of Spellbyndell's finest, embarked on a quest to avenge the queen.

The Lord of Witheringthorn initially planned to wield the scepter as a means to heal himself from the very same curse he had now inflicted upon the Queen. However, once he grasped its power, he succumbed to madness. Using the scepter to amplify his sinister magic instead, he conjured monsters of decay to wreak havoc on Spellbyndell and all of Regalia. However, fate had other plans in store. For five long years, Prince Lumin and his loyal companions fought against the forces of decay, stifling the monsters efforts and overcoming numerous challenges in Witheringthorn's treacherous lands until they finally reached the lord's stronghold. In a climactic moment, Lumin managed to shatter the now corrupted scepter, reversing all the devastation it had ever caused.

The dark lord cackled with glee, basking in what seemed to be his triumph as his figure began to dissolve in front of Lumin. "Soon, the queen shall meet the same fate, and to think you could have prevented it," he uttered just before he disappeared entirely.

With the dark lord finally defeated, tranquility was restored to the realm of Regalia once more...

With the prince on his way home, the queen reflects on the future. She has grown weaker with every passing year, and the very thought of a sudden departure from this life causes her heart to ache. "I would be leaving my son to bear the heavy burden of the throne alone... if he is to be king, he must have a queen by his side—someone I can rely on to care for him and help safeguard the kingdom when I am gone."

i'm no film or visual arts expert but ☝️ one little detail i like in dead poets society is how often there are shots of todd looking up at neil. often in admiration, i'd assume--

--which is of course mirrored in the shot of neil looking up at todd after he does his poem;

also,

looking up towards the sky after The Incident. what does this say? i don't know actually. but it feels like something. don't know what

not to mention when neil is finally on stage. everyone in the audience is looking up at him in that case, but i'd say it still makes sense?
