Witch Way Next? CH1: Stanley's No Good, Very Bad Night

Stanley and Stanford haven’t seen each other in over a decade. No letters, no postcards, no (direct) phone calls, nothing had connected them over those ten years. Stanford had become a scientist studying the strange and unusual in a tiny town in Oregon with the aid of his assistant and college roommate, Fiddleford. He was dedicated to making a scientific discovery that would change the world and often forgot to pull himself out long enough to talk to his own family. (He didn’t even know where his twin was, never mind how to contact him.) Stanley… Stanley became a witch. A “Handyman for Hire” who traveled all over the country for his work. It wasn’t a glamorous lifestyle, but it was a comfortable one. Neither of them expected to run into each other again. And certainly not because of Stan having the worst stroke of luck possible.

AN : Hey all! I've been playing with an au where Stan became a witch during his vagabond days and everything went off the rails because of it. And, at first, it's not even intentional on Stan's part. XD

Originally, the twins were supposed to run into each other by chance due to Stan being hired to do something in Gravity Falls but when I decided to start writing the story, it decided that wasn't the way things were going to play out. So now this AU is starting with Stanley having the worst night ever and ending up in a hospital! (Sorry Stan.)

Enjoy! Also, heads up, there's some swearing in here.

Stanley clutched his lighter like it was a lifeline. And, right then, it was.

The flames he was conjuring from it were the only thing between him and the two Rippers who were itching to live up to their names by ripping him apart. His chest was heaving from the amount of magic and running he'd been using to get away from them.

But they were fucking Rippers. Creatures of dust and darkness! They didn't get tired, so the only thing the chase had done was wear him out. This was not what he signed up for when he was asked to come to New Mexico to take a look at something weird going on. Some “strange animal attacks” by the woods that didn't look right.

The magic folks thought it might have been some loose beast or a mystic guard animal that wasn't leashed right. At least, that was what his client had thought it was.

“Nothing too worrying,” the guy insisted when he’d hired Stan over the phone the previous week to come take a look around. “The humans think it's a couple of coyotes. I’m pretty sure they’re wrong, though. I just want a clearer picture so I can call in a professional to handle it.”

“Animal Attacks” his ass.

Ripper attacks were nothing to make jokes about. He’d never seen one firsthand, but Pops had made sure to cover them so Stanley would know when it would be smarter to get the hell out of dodge instead of sticking around.

Honestly, Pop's descriptions hadn't held a candle to the real things, now that he’d finally had the chance to see them himself.

They were tall and human-shaped, but there was something wrong with them. And the pitch-dark forest and light from the half-moon above certainly wasn’t making them look any better.

Their limbs were too long and thin, their skin stretched taut over their bones with hands and feet a sickening black and tipped in claws like wild animals. Their snarling mouths were rimmed in the same black as their hands and feet and opened just enough to show jagged-looking fangs. Fangs that looked like someone tried to make teeth out of a bunch of obsidian daggers and stuffed them into a human-sized mouth that couldn’t quite fit them. He could barely see their sunken, hollow eyes glowing a faint sickly yellow in the dark from between the trees. Tattered clothing hung off of their too-thin frames and matted hair draped around their faces, they looked like corpses that were somewhere between the stages of “newly dead” and “risen zombie”.

And they were up and moving in the dark forest, where it would have been near impossible to see them until it was too late. Or if, like Stanley, they had gone there specifically looking for something strange and unusual in the forest.

He’d gone out to gather some evidence during the night since some beasts would only come out at night and he’d been trying to figure out what it may have been.

The client had said it wasn’t a big deal and he’d believed them and hadn’t been ready for anything big. He’d expected something small, something relatively easy for him to handle. Or at least identify for someone else to take care of.

But no it had to be fucking Rippers!

A lone handyman like him wasn’t enough for a single Ripper, never mind two of the damn things! That was a six-man job at the very least! But he’d made the mistake of going off on his own. Admittedly because he hadn’t had enough information at the start but still. (Of all the nights to forget his knife in his duffle instead of strapping it to his belt.)

Clearing them out was beyond his skill range. It just wasn’t possible for him to pull it off alone.

Stan gritted his teeth through his exhaustion, the flames at his fingertips flickering weaker for just a moment. He was running out of steam and he knew it. The damn things had been running him ragged, and the pitch-dark forest wasn’t helping either. He had no idea how close or far he was from town, or if he could find some miraculous way to lose them while he tried to figure it out.

(Damn it, he was already running on fumes thanks to Rico’s bullshit about Stan “owing” him. He’d barely managed to ditch the bastard’s lackeys before he’d gotten this call. Stan didn’t owe him shit, he just wanted a witch under his thumb.)

He didn't know how long it was until sunrise would show up and save his sorry ass. It was probably the only way he’d be getting out of this alive. He just had to hold on until then. Just until the sun came up.

A bitter part of him whispered that he probably wasn't going to make it out of this one.

But, if by some miracle he did survive, he was demanding double- no triple pay from the guy. And extra for the medicine he’d be using to patch himself up. Most of the shots he’d taken so far were minor (or he hoped they were minor) but he doubted his luck would hold for much longer.

If he didn't make it then, at the very least, he was going to take one of these bastards down with him. He wasn’t planning on going down without putting up one hell of a fight.

There was a rattling hiss and one of the Rippers vanished.

Shit.

Stanley wasn't able to get the makeshift barrier of flames up fast enough to stop the attack from hitting home.

In the span of a blink, the creature was in his face, snarling and hissing.

He screamed as a warped hand of blackened claws raked down the side of his face and neck, blood splattering on the ground. He stumbled back from the sudden, blinding pain radiating from the wounds.

(Was it deep? He didn't know and there was no time to figure it out.)

The second Ripper surged after the first, successfully sinking its teeth and claws into his arm, ripping a hole through his clothes and ripping out a chunk of skin and muscle when he wrenched free on reflex.

Fire roared from the lighter clutched in his hand, roiling around him in a wicked tornado of light and heat. Scorching the two horrid things and driving them back enough for Stanley to gasp out a spell to strengthen the blaze and push them further away. But with the dangerous side effect of near-blinding him after his mad dash through the black forest around him.

His heart hammered in his ears and he squinted desperately through the flames to keep watch on the rippers. The two vile things screeched and charged again and Stanley threw himself blindly from their path, once again desperately trying to lose them.

(Distance. Distance. He needed to get some distance between them and him. And find someplace where he could properly see to fight back.)

He’d nearly slammed into a tree in the effort, stumbling over a tree root. By some miracle, trying to keep from breaking his nose on the trunk also managed to let him evade the claws of one of the rippers.

His hair still stood on end at how close they came.

Adrenaline turned the fight into a blurry haze, after that.

A whirlwind of claws and fire and increasingly desperate blasts of magic. Stanley threw everything he had in his (too small) inventory at them, but it was far from enough to keep himself safe from harm.

Even if, by some stroke of good fortune, he’d found his way to the far, abandoned edges of town. But now he was being backed against empty buildings where no one would hear him if he screamed for help.

No, he was still on his own. With the promise of help being dangled in front of him, just out of his reach.

Claws and fangs ripped at his arms, his legs, and his back. He could barely stand from the damage he was taking. There was a serious new slice over his stomach that was agony but he forced himself to ignore it. The only things keeping him upright and moving were the potent mixture of stubbornness, spite, and adrenaline. (And some terror.) All he could do was power through the pain he was in to survive.

(But he was still losing. He wouldn't make it to sunrise. He would never see the people who'd changed his life again. He’d never see his family, his brothers, his Ma, ever again.)

Sunken, glowing eyes glared into Stanley's as one of the Rippers got past his guard again, seizing his face in a painfully tight grip. He didn’t have a chance to do more than gasp in pain from the sudden pressure on the gashes that had been carved in his face before the thing smashed his head against the brick wall behind him.

His world went dark and he never felt himself hit the ground.

(He didn't know that, at that moment, a group of Hunters arrived on the scene after hearing his initial scream, following the blind flames like they were flares. They saved him from the Rippers that had been terrorizing the area and the reason he’d been hired in the first place, though he hadn’t known it when he’d first come.)

(He didn't know that one of them had called an ambulance for him. Claiming that they'd found another “Animal Attack” victim and saved his life in the process. Thanks to them, he survived the attack. And that had been more than he’d thought he’d manage that night.)

(He was on the fence about everything that unfolded afterward.)

I swear someone could point out a minuscule detail in RnS and you’d respond with ‘yes that’s actually a very important character detail and is very intentional for you see’ insert like three paragraphs /pos

Oh pfff. No not really XD or I guess, not like how you're implying. I won't pretend every little detail people pick up on is planned. I didn't sit down and write a web of character traits for everyone, or something like that. It's just that, when you write a character for awhile, what comes natural to them as far as habits go, starts to come natural while you write them.

I gave Tanguish things like: thief, climber, nervous, codependent, caring, fearful, stubborn. And then when I write him and I need body language to go between dialogue tags, I think of those traits and come to the conclusion that he needs to fidget with his hands (they're important tools as a thief and a climber and are a common nervous fidget for nervous people. Hiding them and he's secretive, pinning them to his sides and he's worried he's going to mess something up, hurting them and he's feeling self destructive, etc.)

I gave Helsknight traits like: knight, formal, proud, resigned, scared of death, withdrawn. So when I write him, and he wants to lie (proud, withdrawn) but he can't (knight) it makes sense that he side steps the truth a lot. If he's vulnerable or uncomfortable (proud, formal, knight, withdrawn) then fidgeting with his armor makes sense.

Then the longer you write those little behaviors, the more messing with them makes sense as the story goes on.

"Oh I established in X chapter that Helsknight wears his armor as a sign of distance. It makes sense it would have a thorns enchantment, and when he's intentionally softening up for Tanguish, he would not add that enchantment back onto his armor."

"I established that Tanguish wasn't blinded when the Warden got close in X chapter, so it makes sense that he's able to see in pitch black places. Maybe I would like to make that symbolic in his character too: he is really good at seeing past the emotional guards of people, and if for some reason he can't, it makes him irrationally nervous."

So! I guess all that to say, yes the details are intentional because I think about them actively while I'm writing. But not in the sense that I sat down and said "okay, what are all the details I wanna put in this story that I want people to pick up on eventually?" The process is a lot closer to "if my character is like this, what is in character for them to do?" And then you remember those little things, and when you have the chance to reinforce them later to keep them in character, you take that chance, because keeping them in character helps the reader believe they're a little more real, and keeps them invested in the story. And if you get good at keeping them in character, they influence how the story goes with those in character moments, and then the story gets more compelling.

Then people go "Hey wait, I just realized Tanguish says 'Welsknight' but Helsknight says 'Wels'." And you go, oh, thank you, I tried very hard to keep them in character I'm glad you agree that was an in character thing for them to do. Here's why I thought it was in character do you agree? And, most of the time, people agree, because they watched you go absolutely insane over these two characters for 135k words. Yes author, you probably are a little weird about them at this point, huh?

So, Can we know how you felt about the "side story" ending 👀👀👀

You can absolutely know that I was soooooo incredibly breathless!!!! That was absolutely a needed ending! And to be honest, I wasn't expecting that. I wasn't expecting they would put it there this clear. I thought the chat with ash was the little part for episode 1 and then they pulled this out and I absolutely freaked out completely.

I was absolutely stunned and I run around like a maniac because I couldn't believe it and I was soooo thrilled and wahhhhhhh.

You can get me with him. It's the truth. I'm a simply person.

Besides, I saw more Everbyte in this part. Not because of him, not because of the style we're used to due to duskwood. Because it was made with so much creativity and so smart.

I mean, giving us the end screen and than his favourite appearance move. It was amazing and I'm grateful they have this back to us. Very glad.

It doesn't make the other things disappear. But I think Everbyte still deserves praise for the good things. Especially since they now have the time do improve some things.

It was great. It was amazing. I was feeling exactly what I've missed before. Not because of Moonvale own story, I like the story as well, but the other things were in the shadows of everything else.

But with this... Damn, it was insane. And it was sooo early and I was sitting outside and I swear my eyes were bigger than Adams. 😂

Completely took my breath away. And come on.. Showing us his stuff??? You can't tell me this wasn't on purpose! They saw us freaking out about the fact that he took pictures for us. Just pictures of the mine. And we freak out.

And now they gave us this?? I won't let anyone tell me it wasn't their intention. But even if it wasn't, I don’t care.

This was a huge end and it made me incredibly happy 😭

And I was also so very glad to see Alan. I still love him as well. xD

So, thank you for this, Everbyte. This idea was great and we need more of this kind of style back!

Game canon Eggman is pure evil y'all, rest assured to my fellow evil Eggman enjoyers. He's never acted for any reason that wasn't fueled by his evil/selfish intentions. I've carefully analyzed him in all of his scenes for hours and hours for years and years. I don't need to theorize, speculate, or insist on personal interpretations to get to this conclusion because I specifically go by what the games tell and show me undeniably.

I analyze very literally, not abstract or based on how I feel about it, only literally what I can see and hear. I feel this avoids a lot of unnecessary confusion and complication and it can actually be this way and yet still have a lot of depth to it to explore despite this. I don't see appeal in straying too far with the what ifs rather than the literals that are deliberately blatantly presented because the former is when bias can seep in.

But I know some probably think, "If you think I'm biased because I don't like pure evil Eggman so I don't want to see him as such, why aren't you biased for not liking less than pure evil Eggman? What if you're just seeing what you want to see?" But with the way I only go by what's blatantly there to see and hear in the games themselves in bold explicit forms, I feel I avoid any chance of bias.

I don't like to admit this but when I was younger, I had some incorrect interpretations about Eggman. Yes, even me. XD I never thought he was this completely good and caring guy but I definitely didn't have the most accurate understanding of who he was, how he'd act in certain situations, and what he is or isn't likely to say or do. A lot of my own personal biases at the time were to blame.

Years of heavy studying and analysis got me to where I am now. And I realized he said or did the exact opposite in the games to what I thought he'd do or wrote in my silly private fanfics back then. So I started to look at him neutral and unbiased, without expecting or wanting anything specific and letting it influence my perception. Only exactly what I could hear him say and see him do instead.

I rebuilt my understanding into what it is now and ever since, it has stayed completely consistent. Every new piece of media just reaffirms it or gives me new stuff to add that tracks and doesn't contradict the old in the slightest. I'm still having new revelations, discoveries and eyes opened to new things about him but they only further prove, develop, and strengthen my understanding now.

This was all done by me just shutting off these biased parts of my mind and letting the game canon show me who he was, not by my own personal desires and influences. Then I realized I was such a big fan of what I understood him to be, all of my desires turned into loving game canon Eggman for exactly who he was and wanting him to stay the funny pure evil bastard he is. And he does! 💜

But yeah because of that, even though my old perception years ago certainly wasn't the same level as those that spread misinformation of him being way nicer, softer, and morally good than he is in the games, I know what it's like for bias to influence me in some ways. And those little things I believed then are far different from what I know now, so this isn't an example of me being biased lol

I'm very happy that I came to fully recognize, embrace, and appreciate his funny but very much pure evil self! And one of the main goals of my blog besides expressing my passion, is to help people learn more about him and understand him too because I swear, your enjoyment and appreciation of him can grow so much stronger when you do. I love when I'm told I've helped with that!

But if you really don't like that he's pure evil because it makes you uncomfortable, that's fine. But there's a difference between not wanting to see it because you don't like it and what happens in the games. And if you don't like game canon Eggman like that, I have a lot of respect for you if you admit that and just do something different in your fan stuff, without claiming it to be fact.

But game canon Eggman canonically being a funny silly but very evil and threatening bastard man personally fills me with immense joy and it's why I adore him so much. It's endless fun and entertainment! 🥰💜

heyaaaa, i'm a big fan of acidental reverse but that should be no surprise to you at this point, is too good, so good! i was so happy when i went to read on ff.net and found out there were more chapters to readthan on ao3 like "I'M NOT GONNA STARVE" anyway, i really wanted to ask what is your opinion on ships, i know is not the main focus of the story and honestly i dont mind there is any, is more out of curiosity since your other works dont really include ships and the closest i saw you get to the theme of two characters liking each other to that degree was in that one chapter were tenma said ''Repressed sexual tension much?!'' to shindou and tsurugi

also that single line broke me so much, it was like, 3:00 am when i read it and i had to muffle my laugh with the pillow so i wouldnt wake up the rest of the house, the way it got me gagged you are so amazing for that i swear-

anyway i'm writing more than i should, hope you are doing ok and once again, you did a fucking great job, that fanfic is sublime

Hello hello~~ haha, glad to hear you’re enjoying my stories, and sorry for almost making you wake up your family? Wasn’t the intention XD I have to say, this is an interesting ask, not one I was expecting! My opinion on ships…

Well, honestly? I don’t really care about them.

Nothing against people who like shipping (as long as they’re respectful about it), and if I read a story and there’s a good romance in it, I can certainly enjoy it! But I’ll likely never write it as something other than a background thing (mostly just canon relationships).

I think it’s overdone. That’s my biggest issue with it - fandom culture pushes romantic relationships to an extreme degree and downplays the importance of platonic relationships. There’s so many different types of love - between family, between friends, passionate love, playful love, sibling love, parent-child love, found family - and I’ve read far too many stories where the only thing that counts is romance, where all the characters need to be in a relationship, where the only thing that could make you ‘truly happy’ is being in a relationship, and that denies the importance of platonic relationships. The idea that the only thing that matters is romantic relationships is both ridiculous and incredibly toxic. Sometimes platonic love can be more meaningful than romantic love, depending on the situation. Sometimes, when people write two characters who have a meaningful (but canonically non-romantic) relationship as a couple, it takes away from the actual bond between them and downplay the trust and faith they have in one another due to relationship drama.

I guess the reason why I don’t write romance in my stories is because there’s already so, so many stories about that exact topic, and a severe lack of platonic love. I want to read about platonic love, so I write about platonic love. Simple as that.

I said it when I was about to sleep in my last paragraph and tags, and I still stand by that: Izuku's chapter is supposed to be about him, but I'm not gonna be vague right now: Katsuki not being there right now is a good thing, narratively and from the story's standpoint.

It means he'll be back later on, he's too important of a character for Izuku to not appear later (plus every single person knows Izuku's unintentional tendency to single him out amongst others, it's intentional on Hori's part). Their origins involved each other, why wouldn't their rising as well?

He started the "Ganbare yo, Izuku" line, of course All Might and Inko would be the finishers: These, are by far, Izuku's most important people in his life. The reasons why he decided he'd be stronger. (also BNHA is probably the first time I'm genuinely mad at a translator, united statians please read the raws)

Related to that; "Kacchan and the others" is in full play here, remember Izuku has a tendency to do that? Yeah, the story is painting that medium; Katsuki comes first, then everyone else, that's why the last time we see him he's telling Izuku to do his best (when I catch the BNHA's US translator I swear-)

He's Izuku's (and by extension, the heroes') spanner in the works or the trump card they need, Watson vs. Doylist here: His impact can overshadow Izuku's own and these reactions are proof of it, and almost everyone Izuku has inspired has been mentioned, seen or alluded except him for a reason.

Izuku's rising isn't done yet. I have a feeling this is just his beginning. It's the path shaped by everyone who believed in him, and Izuku at the beginning was the only one who did... But he himself is about to do something most would consider crazy or insane. I did say Midoriya Izuku: Rising could be split into parts, and because of this, I think it can still happen.

This is his awakening. Not OFA's, his. And I'm (not really) sorry to say, this path was shaped because his crazy ass had a hero who wasn't All Might, that's a light in the dark, not a stepping stone.

Also, once again, consider: All For One, vestige world, that guy can't help himself but gloat, 362 vestige, Izuku being this close to helping Tenko, hands and hope narrative, 322, season seven's first opening and ending, Heroes: Rising callbacks, Izuku, Katsuki and Tenko being the ones to opposite AFO's narrative, it's all coming together!

Related to this: even Melissa Shield, Rody Soul and Pino showed up, when they've only shown up to interact with Izuku in Team Up Mission. So that's already a reference to Two Heroes and World Heroes' Mission (PLUS THEY'RE A PART OF THE MAIN CANON I HAVE CHEERED FUCK YEAH). So we have a Heroes: Rising reference left. Guys. It's gonna happen :]

What I'm saying is don't doom post so soon guys, the moments are coming, Katsuki is coming, but having him around Izuku right now would either make things too easy for the story or make things convoluted now; remember AFO would not hesitate to kill this guy again, and Izuku losing it when he has nothing but embers to fight him right now is the last thing we want, I hope XD unless we're feeling angsty but let's save it for later, shall we?

I always wish I could do more for my friends aches and pains too, no matter how long they've been dealing with them, so the sentiment is always appreciated. And my apologies if I came off snippy at all, I can assure you that was not my vibe or my intent.

Titans: Season 4 - Ep 12: Finale, Dickkory + Whole Show - Thoughts

Oof, this is gonna be a long ass post. I'm gonna put into words my thoughts on the finale, my thoughts on dickkory in the finale as well as dickkory in general in the show and lastly a few thoughts on Titans as a whole since it began 4 years ago.

No word of a lie, I just sat and rewatched the finale with a notebook, noting every. single. thought. So... buckle up and good luck if you're gonna try reading to the end. XD

Episode 12: Titans Forever (Series Finale)

So, first, I'm just gonna talk about the finale without gushing over Dickkory. I will, obviously but I'm gonna separate them out.

I love that it got straight back into the action with little to no filler. Filler stuff fucks me off when you're so close to the end like in a finale, there should be no filler and for that, Titans got points from me.

I really liked that Rachel did her lil soul self projection - that was cool and not something we've seen her do before in the show (I don't think) so I found that a cool thing to throw in rather than having Kory just blow the door up which let's face it, still would have been boss af.

Lmao, Sebastian continues to be just such a little whiny bitch. XD I've said it every week but he's just so annoying. Don't get me wrong, I think Joseph Morgan did it well and he is a good actor but God, Sebastian is just so unlikeable for me. He fucking sucks and if I was in STAR labs, I would have thrown a punch like FUCK. The only time I was nervous of him was when he had my girl Kory for a hot minute. I did not enjoy that.

LOL. Trigon got like 2 mins of screen time and was then just gone. It was hilarious to me, I gotta be honest. Like Trigon was built up and then just got hacked by his son lmaooo. It had me laughing, ngl. Drinking the blood from his heart was weird af but was in keeping with the rest of the Blood cult and what the show has shown them to be like including Sebastian but still. Grim.

I really loved the title intro; how the images on the TITANS was the core four and then flashed as usual to the four of them from season 1. Idk if that was intentional but it felt like it and I appreciated it a lot.

GAR'S CRYING FACE THROUGHOUT THIS FUCKING EPISODE. MY POOR BABY, GOD DAMN IT. Conner's 'death', Kory's 'death'... like fuck give him a break.

GLAD TO FINALLY SEE GOOD BOI KRYPTO. I was wondering where the heck he had been, honestly. Good to see him there at the end. XD

Lmao, so I get it was to show like Dick was hopeful Conner would be okay but him whipping out his phone to make a dinner reservation had me cackling like bro, pick a better moment pls. Out of context, that would be so fucking funny. XD

I adored Tim's little rejoin with the team. He is such a Robin nerd, I love him. Everyone smirking like the cutie he is was sweet af.

Also really loved Kory and Rachel's power merge. It did fuck all cos he wasn't actually there but it made me happy. My girls. <3

Sebastian riding up to STAR Labs on his little blue bike - bitch, someone should have sniped your fucking ass off of it then & there.

I felt bad for Dr Espenson; I liked her. What a grim way to go too. Screaming, bleeding - ick.

Bernard literally getting up to see everyone getting murdered and was like well shit, fuck, I gotta move. XD

Lmao, Dick literally keeping a secret about a womhole; I was just... this is so on brand for him ffs. XD

Sebastian just being like, 'Fuck your password' and Calliope accepting it made me giggle. Idk why.

I really liked the explanation from Calliope about how powerful Kory really can be - Her strength is always downplayed in every media format, I swear. It fucks me off so badly. The woman can literally go toe to toe with Superman ffs like acknowledge her power, DC, you little bitch. God.

Kory getting controlled was a no no for me. When her eyes went red and she went a' wandering, I was like NOOO KORY! STOPPP! SNAP OUTTA IT!

I really liked the scene with Kory and Sebastian like my heart was racing and in my mouth cos it was like don't fucking touch her, you psycho but the tension was really good in that scene, I thought.

I won't lie, some scenes were weirdly paced however, I think it would work fine if you were binge watching the whole season. I like that it's straight in but it felt a tad all over the place in some parts but again, I don't think it would be an issue if you're just watching all the episodes together.

"You're no God." - Fucking GET HIM, Kory. Get wrecked, Sebastian, you glorified mama's boy.

The team takedown of the metahuman assault squad was rad; I loved the teamwork and the moves and it felt good to watch. I very much enjoyed it.

"I won't help you destroy my home - Either one of them" - Oh, Kory <3 You literally are such a sweetheart and I loved that it wasn't left to be ambiguous like gasp, which did she mean?

I DID NOT AND DO NOT APPRECIATE KORY IN PAIN. FUCK OFF.

Gar & Tim's friendship gives me life. They're just such bros; the shoulder taps and smirks like they are SUCH boys. I love them.

I SNORTED at the way Dick just pops outta nowhere and sucker punches Sebastian. It was so funny. XD

"For the record, that game you made fucking sucks." LOL TIM, my fucking soul mate. I was DYING. XD

Gar almost getting dragged into the wormhole had me on EDGE. Like, not my sweet, cinnamon boy, no thank you.

Rachel waking Kory; I was SOBBING. The flashes of Kory memories. My actual heart hurt.

Nightwing literally fighting until he is deadass on the floor was giving me life. We love to see a determined fool.

Superboy showing up last minute was pretty dope like a secret weapon, I liked it and was wondering like is Conner gonna appear orrr...? XD

LOL Conner with Tim & Gar was cute and great. "Wait, was I dead?" and Tim brushing it off like, "I'll explain later" had me creasing.

My God, Kory's sudden power up and her just soaring straight through the fucking roof had be cheering loudly like it was the best and is a favourite scene by loads. It was so frickin' cool and something I like to see Kory do in shows and movies and shit cos she is just so slept on by DC. She is fucking amazing and yet... we never get to see her like that or very rarely. I loved it.

The kids' sad faces when Kory is like 'No' to throwing Sebastian through the wormhole. I die. Rachel especially - Her face was so sad and if you look closely, you can see Rachel is like sobbing but trying to restrain her emotions after Kory lets go of her hand. She knew. She knew what mama Kory was gonna do.

Honestly, this scene with Kory still making the sacrifice was hard on my emotions and was the one that had me closest to tears - I was full on at the edge of crying ugly ass tears.

Kory's supernova was perfect to me. Like, yes, look at that damn powerhouse goddess.

Ryan's crying face had me wanting to cry this whole episode, omg.

Firstly... the Christmas scene is so weirdly placed, I thought and I have to say it. I don't get, and I've seen others question this too, if it's meant to be a flashback or a future vision. I assume it's the end of S3 cos Kory's hair, Tim isn't yet there, Rachel's hair is purple still... but Dickkory?? EXCUSE ME that is a bit cozy for just friends? Dick's hand on her waist and they are literally standing so close together wtf?? It was so freakin' cute regardless but yeah, it felt randomly placed. I agree, it should have been maybe used as a flash forward instead? Idk.

I keep mentioning it but GAR CRYING HAD MY HEART BREAKING EVERY TIME.

The float back down from space and the focus on her - Just really made me smile cos like it reminds me why Kory is and will forever be my favourite DC character and just fictional character in general. Thanks to Anna like Titans Kory has joined the roster for my top versions of Kory, idgaf what anyone thinks. I love her.

THE GROUP HUG. I AM A MESS.

The dinner scene was so bittersweet like it makes sense for the young ones to go - it was foreshadowed multiple times for each of them really but I was so sad. I not like team splits. I recently watched a new hero movie... hint hint where this is the same ending and I sobbed in the cinema. I hate these endings but I also get it. Like I said, bittersweet.

Gar embracing The Red & doing something for him felt right and a 'Good for him' moment.

Rachel going to college!! I like the Bludhaven Easter egg - it made me smile.

Tim is such a cutie and I really love Jay's portrayal of him.

Conner, we all knew that was coming too. All the babies flying the nest, I am SOBBING.

Love Krypto sat at the fucking table of this fancy ass restaurant lmaooo.

I really loved the finale, I will be honest. I really didn't have issues with it other than the small few I've listed. Like, I wish we had more time with the characters but the episode ending left me on a high but that could be cos it ended on my babies... It felt like an upbeat way to end the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Episode 12: Titans Forever (Series Finale) - Dickkory & DK Thoughts

So, I'm gonna basically do the same as above. Ima go through the episode and just gush about the DK scenes lmao.

I really did feel like there was Dickkory moments in every scene. There were individual scenes but I felt it was always there in the background. All of Dick's choices and his motivations etc, I felt like he always had Kory in his mind, personally.

The freakin' RV scene with them had me feeling all kinds of ways. It had me giggling and tearing up. The banter about them first meeting and her stealing his car!! I am so happy that that got brought up since we never really had them talk about those things after S1. For a while, it felt like it just got retconned. Glad to see it was not and they reflected on it.

Dick's fucking sad eyes and his broken way of being like, "Please, don't." I die. Brenton expressions especially when Dick is with Kory have always been so top tier, I stg.

LOL, when they learn about Project Icarus, Dick's eyes keep shifting back and forth to Kory as if being like "Fuck, wifey so gon' be big mad."

UGH. The "Kory, wait!" when she leaves the RV and is getting into the porche. The way he calls and runs out after her felt very reminiscent of S1 in Angela's house after she attacks Rachel. Like, mmm, yes. It felt similar and I adored it.

Dick & Kory's continued banter in the porche. Their serious af conversation about what they're going to intermingled with the reference yet again to his car and how they're even for his car and Dick's smirk... I loved it sm.

I loved that Kory checked his ass about Project Icarus when he got into the porche before she could drive off. He's so quick to be like, "Babe, I didn't even know nothing." XDDD Honestly, it's giving husband and wife. It had me dying.

"We're stronger together; you know we are." - STOP IM SOBBING. I really loved that line.

Dick's eyes are literally trained on Kory so. much. in this episode. He is concerned af and I am so here for it.

Dick's concern in the lab when she is awol is so cute like he is STRESSIN' but we love to see it.

LOL, Dick at the doors like, "BERNARD!" Like fuck man, give him a second! XD He called out like 3 times and was so impatient, it was hilarious. He was really giving, "My wife is in there with a psycho pls open the fucking doors." XD

Dick's fighting was so love fuelled, i don't care what anyone says. He literally fights like not my alien Princess, you don't, you dick! xD I'm probs delusional but all I could think was Dick's more pissed cos Kory is in danger.

Dick was so hopeful after Sebastian went down. He was like woo, yeah, we did it, it's over. Let's throw him into space, no dead Kory today. And she is just like... I'm sorry and dfhjhsdlkh. I was in pain. You can see him crumbling and is still trying to find ways for her not to do this. I had full on tears in my eyes.

The face caress like... it's so painful. He looks so crestfallen. I cannot.

"I don't know how to do that... I can't" - He sounded so broken, my poor dumbass!! I was in pain with this whole sequence.

Dick's tearfilled eyes - I was honestly so emosh; Anna and Brenton did that scene so well.

I really love the pause on Dick whilst they think Kory is dead like it's as if he knows or legit just cannot fathom Kory being gone.

HIS LIL WALK BACK OVER TO HER ONCE SHE COMES DOWN FROM SPACE. IT WAS A WALK WITH PURPOSE. You CANNOT tell me he wasn't instantly like, "Ima kiss her" when she came back to Earth. He had that determination in his eyes. She was getting thoroughly kissed.

THE KISS!!!!! SQUEEEEEE. Guys, I fucking died. I know it was a very long time coming and overdue but it was a good kiss. Dick diving in for a second kiss made me melt. I loved it.

The boys all grinning in the back had me smilinggg. Whether it was cos mom and dad were kissing or cos Kory wasn't dead, Idc it was cute.

Kory's lil 'Whoa' after the kiss was so adorable.

THE HAND ON HER BACK. Dick's hand was glued to her as they went over for the group hug. He was not letting go and it was... so cute.

Honestly, Dick's heart eyes again at Dinner where she's like "Guess you never know what the future holds" and his smile like fuck man, she's yours. Quit it alreadyyy!

Sighhh, the whole conversation when they were alone was great and I espesh loved, "They're not even leaving us Krypto" XD

The 'It's weird' 'What? You and I alone together?' was cute and ughhhhh I was dying.

The damn stroller with the red balloon. We see you, Titans. GOD! I liked that we got the subtle hint without a flashforward to having had Mar'i. I put this in the tags of a reblog and like I would have still sobbed at that but I like the subtle route a lot.

LOL DICK's "Maybe we should get on that" HAD ME CHOKING HAHAHA like BRO, you are leaping ahead. Even Kory took a minute looking at him like is this guy for real rn?? Man went from 'I don't do feelings' to 'I've picked the paint for our baby's nursery' lightning fast XDDD. But, they defo went home after and slept together after those drinks. You can't convince me otherwise.

They were so giddy and cutesy. Like, ugh I'm not over it. I'm on such a dickkory high.

I LOVE the ending on the bridge. Sunshine Kory skipping ahead and holding hands with and dragging her smiley yet grumpy Dick along. It just felt so them and the little bubbly action from Kory felt VERY her. Like it really sang, Kory to me.

I'm so happy they ended with Dickkory in a place so happy and in love - it rarely happens in DC so I am thrilled.

Guys, I know at times, it felt neverending and I'm with other DK fans. I really wish they had done this with Dickkory earlier in the show, I really do. I feel like we could have skipped some exes and other shit and got to this point with them a lot sooner but it is what it is.

I'm actually just so happy that they ended it on such a fluffy, lighthearted note for them. Like, they are so loved up at the end of the show and it just makes me happy that we got that. Could they have done more with them through the whole show? Absolutely. Could they have gotten to this point with them earlier? Also, absolutely.

But, I am grateful for the moments through each season that we got with them. Like, I think if I was to rewatch from S1, bearing in mind that Dick's basically been a goner since the night at the motel in S1, I feel like the seasons and episodes would feel different.

I'm just really grateful that I have another show that gave me dickkory content. I've followed them through multiple versions. TT Cartoon, DCAU, comics, TT Cartoon comics, TTG (in parts), Live action... like I just love them in every universe, including this one even if it's been trying at times.

But, there was nothing ambiguous about this ending for me. The point is to end them on a high all giggly and happy and thoroughly in love. I look forward to the fic writers for live action dickkory to cook up some beautiful fics after this just to keep the joy going.

I WISH there could have been an S5 to see Dick and Kory in an actually established place but that's what imaginations are for and luckily for me, I can imagine dickkory scenarios til the cows come home XD.

I've really enjoyed this version of them. It's been different but I still love them. I love Brenton as Dick and Anna as Kory respectively and I think their chemistry has worked so well in this show and it doesn't hurt that they are so close in real life. It's really sweet.

Idk, I have no issues with how they were ended. I was scared we wouldn't get a kiss but that kiss was adorable and ugh the last scene on the bridge just makes me so smiley, even now after hours of rewatching it XD

Titans - Whole Show - Thoughts

I have always been very back and forth with Titans, I won't lie and tbh, anyone that follows me or knows me, knows that I've dipped in and out of Titans constantly.

However, going into Titans, I have ALWAYS said from day dot one that I was watching it for three specific things. Kory, Gar & Dickkory. That was it, hence I've never really cared for much beyond those things so my opinion will be wildly different from others, I am sure.

Season 1 got me invested. I loved the core four; hated the fucking pigeons and will die on my hill that they were a waste of screen time. But, our core four were the best thing about the first season, it was amazing.

Season 2 I enjoyed greatly but I did pull back a little but there were moments that brought me back in. And, there were some characters like Donna that reeled me back in cos I love her and I enjoyed hers and Kory's friendship as well as her friendship with Dick. I liked the storyline since Slade has always been a Titans douchebag but we love him.

Season 3, lmao, I dropped, I won't lie. I watched pieces from mutuals and sought out scenes and episodes of interest but honestly, it died a little for me in S3. It was based in Gotham and it had a tiny rekindle of another ship which... I saw zero value in doing. I was so anti season 3 lmao.

Season 4 pulled me right back in as it reminded me of S1. We'd lost the annoying af birds and it was back to core four plus Tim and Conner but like I was fully on board for them cos they didn't deter from the team vibe. Whereas, other side characters absolutely did and it was frustrating. Season 4 has definitely been my favourite season in the show.

It probably goes Seasons 4, 1, 2 & 3 tbh.

I've always had issues with Titans in various forms but y'know what? Overall, I've loved watching it. I wish some things had done better but I still loved the show that was given to fans overall.

I'm so sad it's ended but I am glad to have had some fan interactions through the course of the show. Dickkory fans especially know the DK desert is dry af most of the time so this was really nice to have the tag vibing most of the time.

I'm sad to see the show go and I hope we don't have to wait long to get something else Titans related that isn't a fucking backwards af comic from the assholes at DC. The irony, huh? XD

Thanks, Titans. It's been fun.

Dickkory friends, I look forward to forthcoming art and fics to read cos I need them to keep me on the high for the next few weeks. XD

Malon definitely runs an establishment where the boys hang out. Hands down no arguments.

(Bam, a short dabble idea)

Wind wasn't too fond of being forced to move from inner city Hy-rises to the little costal fishing village nearby. But he couldn't complain. The air was nice and he could Never turn down Gtandma's cooking. But after the whispers between grandma and Aryl, and the news that his sister was going to move back for the next semester, left the boy lonely.

Little did he know of their surprise gift. A gift that would allow him to visit his sister back in the city near anytime. A gift that his grandmother once cherished and treasured. It wasn't much, but the two girls got it running just in time for Winds birthday.

It was dusty and faded. A bit rusty here and there. But it worked and had many stories under its belt.

"I hope this will do. At least until we can afford you something all your own. I'm sorry if it-"

"ITS PERFECT GRANDMA!" Link shouts in joy. Rushing over to see his new ride. "I finally have my own bike! It's so cool!" He cheered yet again.

The faded dingy red front and storage bag shells have hints of their once vibrant rose hue. The underside and motor case shell were obviously replaced by the ill fitted powder blue. The worn down cushion of the seat boasted worn out white leather, yet was still surprisingly soft. Some haphazzard filigree letters stitched into the cushions edge caught his eye. And then he couldn't help but promise, that he would take this old �� moped called 'Leo' on every adventure he possibly could. After all, he never got to actually meet grandpa 'leo' before.

(A short story of how Wind , came to aquire his first motorcycle 'moped'. Which has a touching backstory of being how his grandparents met. And is a reference to the King of Red Lions.)

I think the boys have the inner city connections through Telma's Bar, but they really hang out by Malon's ranch where they keep their bikes in one of the barns and use the open space to race without getting caught by the cops.

sooo... What is the Government's intentions? Why were the two people watching the clip of Second's powers? The Government is an organisation -I think-, so who is allowed to know their plans? What are their plans?

Are they targeting Vic, Second, Chosen, or Dark? OR Kaori or ALan?

I've always liked seeing people without powers and just technology and/or their talents beating people who just rely on their powers.

I'm not sure why. I think that's why I like Agent so much more than the others.

O v O Well well well~ Somebody is poking around for info on the Government within Super Sticks~ Whatever shall I do-

They are an organization, yes. They rule a lot of areas, but are not all-powerful or in a position of full-on tyranny.

There are places that are private property, owned by a single stick or perhaps two sticks, and leased or available for public usage, that the Government cannot do much about. There are also small organizations of some groups of sticks, that built up their businesses to help improve the city. The properties they own and let the public around also is unable to be touched or interfered with via Government hands.

One of those such places, is the police station that Vic is currently imprisoned inside. Government cannot touch him there, even though they are very well aware that Vic has powers. They were quite put off and frustrated when Vic made arrangements for both himself and Primal to go to that specific prison~

[The non-Government station itself and the guards/officers thereof actually don't know Vic has powers right now. This fact comes into play later, for a future scene I have already written~]

They are... targetting a LOT of sticks, actually- XD They even have code names for some of the higher priority sticks, as seen when "Target Amnesia" was mentioned.

Second is the highest priority thoouugghhhh~ I wwoooOoonnndeeerr whhhhhyyyyyY~ >:D

Every currently imprisoned stick in the Government right now: ...Yeah, I guess we're Pokemon cards now- It's accurate-

XD I love Pokemon, although I've only seen Indigo League. I wouldn't say I'm necessarily into the fandom either, but from what I have seen of the show I have loved dearly.

And the Alcoholic Twins ended up inheriting their Mom's powers rather than their Dad's, so nobody except me at the moment knows what Jade can do, ehehehehhee

The title of Pretzel might have something to do with it, but that is ALLLLLLLL I will be saying on that front- /total-lie, I-can't-keep-my-mouth-shut, /silly

Color Gang is absolutely going to be epic with their non-powers, I will say this much. I AM VERY EXCITED TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE WHAT THEY'LL BE ABLE TO DO, but I gotta break it to the readers slowly over the course of the four building the upgrades-

I do got the specifics all figured out, thoughhh~~ Not the names, yet- But the upgrades for each quadruplet, I have that down and ready to implement into the plot at will.

Canon!Agent is so cool, yes- I think he may be my favorite as well! [although I LOVE HAZARD so much too...] And! That is one of the big reasons why, as he doesn't even have any abilities, he uses a tech weapon. On a similar note, Mono of Super Sticks is much the same way, and on an even greater note because leg injury~ :D

It's funny you should mention reliance on one's powers, as I have a bit of a motto/theme built up in relation to that. In Spark AU. :3 Do with that information what thou will...
