7 months ago I posted that I had been clean from SH since 5 months. So, I wanted to share this update with you too, because....

This bitch is clean since one damn year! 🥳

I seriously have no idea how I did it. I never thought I could do it and it's just completely mind blowing for me. Like, I really thought I would manage to stay clean for this long. For over 10 years I couldn't do it. But here I am now. And I want to say, if you're struggling with the same thing: There is hope. There is. I also always thought there isn't. But now I saw that there is. So, I see you, I see your struggles and I know you're suffering. And it's valid. But please, at least try to consider that there is hope. I didn't expect it, but there it is. You're doing amazing and you're loved. Your journey is valid. Your journey is power. I believe in you, even if you don't believe in yourself. 💚

Are you still hyped for Moonvale and the side story? I kinda don't like they force us to play Moonvale to find out what happened in Duskwood after the mines. I wished they had given us a sequel game because I don't care about Moonvale :( Maybe I would he more hyped if we knew what happened in duskwood.

Yeah, I definitely get what you're saying with that. Me, personally, I would have preferred a second part of duskwood as well. I mean, you know, Duskwood was just this big huge thing. And for me it was such a deep thing like I'm not gonna lie, it saved my life. Duskwood gave me something so big I've never had before. But I also understand the difficulty of coming up with a second part. Like, of course we still have lots of questions. But what case could be connected to duskwood once again, with the same people and stuff like that? I think making a second part with a connected case would be just feel pressured. It's like movie series that just wouldn't end. Like, fast and furious xD It's just like 'Dude stop, we have reached the end!' You know what I mean? It's difficult to say which direction is the best way to go. But all in all, I still just want everbyte to do what they love and what they want to do. Sure, we as players have expectations now. And I do understand how hard it is to meet these expectations now. Because they are high and duskwood was such a big, big fantastic thing for me. It's just difficult and I definitely understand both sides. Everbytes side but also ours as players.

As for Moonvale and hype... Not gonna lie... It's kinda a love and hate relationship, I think. On the one hand, I really want to know what happened and what is going on with Adam. Like, I think the storyline itself is really interesting so far. With the deep mysteries and the 'scary' parts like the end of Moonvale episode one when Eric goes into that cave. I think they really hit the 'anticipation and nervous' tic a lot. They keep us on our toes, that much is clear. But yeah, on the other end is the love for duskwood, the expectations... I don't know, while I loved some Moonvale parts, I just have struggles getting into it. The disappointment after episode 1 was big and I kinda have troubles to forget about what happened, no matter how empathic I am for everbyte, it was a disappointment. It's just a love and hate thing for me. I wanna keep playing but if I'm being honest, I'm not close to being as hyped as I was for duskwood. And yes, I also not going to lie about that, a big part of that was also Jake. I mean, sure, the whole game was great but what kept many people was Jake. It's the truth and I don't see why we should sugar coat that. There is always a main reason why you keep playing or keep watching a specific movie or TV series. And for many it was just Jake. And I'm kinda lacking the connection with a character in Moonvale. I mean, Unknown kicked in in episode two, I love that character. It's the mystery, it's true. I don't know. I will keep playing but I'm still lacking the connection I had with duskwood. And yeah, I know, I know... It's only two episodes yet and 'the level is raising and not much can happen in two episodes, have patience etc'. But come on, it the first two episodes of a TV series are boring or annoying or you can't get into it, nobody says 'Patience, it's only the beginning'. Period.

They got to keep playing, that's true, but I still hope and wait for it to catch me like Duskwood did. We will see. 💚

To be honest, I'm not quite sure if I have seen every new update, but I know there are some news. Do you mean in general or a specific one? But as far as I've seen, it spent look too bad. The new tracker website is a slay and the informations are great. Not gonna lie, the most exciting thing for me is they saying they are going to change the design of the mini games xD. And number two is the possibility to change out backgrounds and chats again, thank god! ^^

The FBI closed duskwood, no one comes in, no one leaves, all because of....Jake...Cops, FBI, all after Jake in Duskwood and the first thing he does is send a video to us just to prove that he is alive.

But I just love situations like this anyway. Even if it's not Duskwood and a different game, some moments definitely are, and I believe so, a bit sneaky done by everbyte. Like, as if they know 'let's say this because the Duskwood fans will immediately thing about Jake'

I really wish he would be back and help us with that case. I need my baby back. And I need the girlie, screaming, heart eye moments back. I miss the giggling, squealing moment I had with Jake's attention. 😂

As some might now, in the German language, we don't only use 'You', we have a 'more' polite form when talking to strangers or authorities or elders. So wie use 'Sie' to adress unfamiliar people. It's a form of respect blah blah blah.

Anyway, what is hilarious to me, when Eric gets thrown out my Whitemore, and they scream at each other, Eric shouts 'Answer me!' which would be 'Antworte mir!' in German. Which would be the normal form without the extra polite/respectful way.

What makes it so funny to me, and which is a perfect example of Germany. Even though Whitemore is screaming at Eric and kicking him out, Eric doesn't just use the normal, casual form 'Antworte mir'

No, even if we Germans are threatened and get kicked out by a very weird maniac, Eric screams the formal and polite form for addressing strangers, 'Antworten Sie mir!'

And it's hilarious, because that's Germany. Even in such a situation it's like 'Yeah but he is a stranger so we have to use the respectful form while screaming at someone who's definitely rude to us, has a riffle in his hand and just used said riffle. But we have to shout in a polite/ respectful way'

Don't know if that's funny to non German people but I know we have some Germans here so I wanted to point it out xD
