i think i've hit the limit of my Persian knowledge trying to translate Al Qolindar and it's driven me mad...

RIGHT????#there’s no way i’m the first person to attempt this #but hey if there’s any native persian speakers here that have any guidance i’d love to hear it!#al = ال = The (or dynasty)#that one was easy #(i suppose it could also reference the ‘al’ vampire like demon from persian mythology? but that seems like a stretch)#qol/qolni was the most difficult due to the english spelling #i believe that it is actually 'khanne' (خانه) which means 'home'#(but then you could also go down the 'Khan' route for 'king'#as a reference to Al Qolinidar being a 'khanate' like the Ilkhanate that ruled over Iran at the time #but i think thats when my eye started to twitch)#then you have dar = دار = have #so khanne (= خانه = home/house) + dar (= دار = have)#ال خانهدار =#the housekeeper (or housewife lol)#but omg there's SO many variations that there could be it really needs a learned parsi ear to translate Kayvan's pronunciations #or an actual official spelling #preferably in persian pls

I don't really think it's fair to dismiss the idea that that guy might have been framed for killing the CEO as like an unfounded conspiracy theory when NYPD has a proven history of planting/fabricating evidence on people. in 2011 there was a massive investigation of the NYPD and hundreds of cases against people were dismissed after a former police officer testified that they literally have a name for planting evidence on people: flaking. you cannot be out here acting like considering the possibility that cops who do this shit under normal circumstances might possibly also do it when they're under intense global pressure and scrutiny is the same as republicans thinking democrats run a secret pedophile ring in the basement of a pizza restaurant

shout out to people who's family isnt entirely bad or entirely good, but something in between and you dont know how to feel about them. you feel angry but you also feel guilty, because you know they genuinely love and care about you, but sometimes they show it in a way you know its not okay. your feelings are valid, your anger and sadness and grief are valid, and you dont have to prove this to no one. bigger shout out to those with memory issues who know something isnt right but can't recall all of the bad events, only the feelings, which only increases the guilt.
