It’s obvious Trump has no respect for our institutions, our Constitution or our nation. A lesser acknowledged fact is the lack of respect he has for his followers, his supporters, and the Republican Party altogether.
Trump believes Americans are ignorant, ill informed, oblivious, he thinks we’re dumb. So much so that he will lie, about something that is obviously a lie. His lack of respect goes so far as to refute what we can see with our own eyes. What we know to be true. You don’t continuously lie to those you respect. You don’t respect those you lie to.
His disrespect towards us, the people of this nation. His disrespect towards the pillars of our democracy. His disrespect of our nation as a whole must come to an end. We are not the garbage can he claims we are. It is himself that will be taken out like trash this November.
We deserve respect. We deserve liberty. We deserve to be told the truth. We deserve Kamala Harris as our president.
