Honestly, despite everything going on I'm just so genuinely baffled over the support given to Selen not just by fans but people she has worked with and friends. It's so nice seeing it? I'm really new in the vtuber stuff and I come from kpop fandoms so you can imagine the shock I am in with how kind people are being. It's so so SO sweet seeing everyone backing her up I have not seen even 1 shitty person commenting crap (there probably is some but the support is gigantic compared to it).

Like how the fuck does Niji think we're gonna believe it was her fault, when everyone and their mothers is saying how kind and supportive and genuine and every other nice adjactive my english as a second language brain can't think of right now. Every fan and non fan is backing her up, her channel mods rioted and used her youtube channel to promote Doki, even with one of them under a NDA this is so good to see makes me emotional how good people can be.

The Niji fandom has a bad rep which is understandable, again I come from kpop and was an active fan and Twitter user at the peak of it ik how fandoms can be, but seeing so many of them backing her up and wanting to know if any of their oshis are the bullies so they can immideatly stop supporting.

We need to remember that Shubble stated that Wilbur would manipulate and gaslight friends and family. With this, we must be patient with streamers that were close to Wilbur. This was likely surprising and shocking for them. They may need time to come to terms with what has happened.

I have been vocal about how important it is for men to be critical about abusive behaviors. However, Wilbur had many close friends—some would even consider him family—and now they may feel they hardly knew him at all.

There is a deep stress felt by viewers. It is difficult to think we have given any amount of time or money to an abuser. Could you imagine a close friend right now? The pain and betrayal must sear. They need time to understand what has happened and come to terms with it. Many of them may not be live in the coming days (weeks even).

That being said, as time passes, criticism may be necessary. Complacency is not an option. Men that are willing to ignore abuse to protect an abuser are just as pathetic as the abusers themselves.

the first motive was literally carte blanche to kill someone with no repercussions. maki easily could've found someone alone or hell could've just killed someone right at the strategy meeting in chapter 1 and left if she wanted to. but even with a lack of repercussions and the possibility of returning to the orphanage she still didn't want to kill anyone

So the halfas, yes that (ugh, really Jordan) does include Vlad, all get together to hash out a plan to get out of Amity. And? They like cats, you like cats right? And they have friends- or allies- in the Zone, so maybe they can perhaps get a few… oh? What’s this? A cat-like creature with necromatic powers? Yeah they can- oh. Hm. So that’s replaced their ghost form now. 

That’s fine actually! They’re still ghosts- just erm, no longer human looking. And Vlad can continue to use his human form- yes we need to keep the bracelets on to hide the ears and tails, whatever- to continue running DalvCo. 

It’s not bad, and they’ll admit Vlad has been getting better. Sure there’s still a bunch of blackmail (Jordan, Sam, stop helping him-), but they honestly? Can’t be brought to care. They’re adjusting- grieving in some cases- and focusing on actually finishing everything before the summer ends. 

So it’s probably not a good time for heroes to start investigating Vlad…
