this is a very special project to me for many reasons. i’m still adding to him but i absolutely love him. creating him has genuinely been a highlight in my life

he has fully posable arms, fingers, and legs. he also has magnetic eyes so his pupils can move and magnetic eye lids (not added in the two photos above but the top one). his tie is removable so i have the ability to make more outfits for him. he’s about 6’6”. absolutely massive and an amazing cuddle buddy

he is also capable of hand holding and my cats love him

i made him thinking that i’d maybe make glep and that would be it but due to high demand i’ve made it my mission to make all 4 of the smiling friends and maybe some other characters from the show upon request :)

I like to think that part of the reason why America Ferrara’s character in Barbie so easily accepted that this grown woman was a Barbie doll that came to life was because she watched Life-Size as a kid. She was prepared for this.

A naked youth stands with his weight on his right leg, crowning himself with a wreath, probably olive. The olive wreath was the prize for a victor in the Olympic Games and identifies this youth as a victorious athlete. The eyes of the figure were originally inlaid with colored stone or glass paste, and the nipples were inlaid with copper, creating naturalistic color contrasts. Found in the sea in international waters, this statue is one of the few life-size Greek bronzes to have survived; as such, it provides much information on the technology of ancient bronze casting.
