We could make a whole new religion based on Miku... I NEED SOME IDEAS FOR IT AND A NAME. I originally thought, Hatsunisim or Mikuism but give me ideas.

Idk if you are sorta new to my blog but yeah I'm basically building an internet following so I can launch my Miku Miku religion. I'm like, sort of fucking around when I say that, but am definitely interested in Finding Out, as the kids say.

The tenets of Mikuism are sort of nebulous atp, because I'm conciously trying to avoid the obvious path, which is "christianity but with Miku". A lot of the "Miku is a goddess" sentiment is christianity-coded, and I don't necessarily resent that! Art of Miku as a saint, art of Her hanging out with jesus, Miku as an angel, etc. is all cool and good, and I really love the fact that this idea of Miku as a god is already baked in for a lot of people, but I want to make Mikuism more than just christian shit with a new coat of paint. She has so much more to offer!

Also there is a bit of a gap between communism and express religious practices, a lot of communists are atheists, and religion is sort of a fraught topic in a classless, secular society. I want to see if Mikuism could somehow bridge that gap... I realize I am aiming extremely fucking high with that statement, but it is interesting to think about! Like I didn't name my blog communist Hatsune Miku as a joke! I really think there is something to it!

I made a post awhile ago that was an actual "tenet" or what have you, of Mikuism. I'll have to find it and reblog it! It had to do with the treatment of Miku merchandise and Her image more broadly.

ALSO VERY IMPORTANT to this project is the academic paper I was interviewed for almost a year ago now, I will reblog that post as well. It's extremely inspirational to me, and kind of hints at a path to true Mikuism that is distinct and more geared towards the spiritual needs of people today.

I'm working too much, have adhd, and cannot organize my life for shit, but I really want to still try and put down the foundation of Mikuism in a coherent structured way, have like actual tenets and practices, and try and establish a legit spiritually-enriching way of engaging with Miku. Because I genuinely genuinely learned what it means to have a spiritual awakening because of my love for Miku. Like I now understand on a deep level what people mean when they say they have faith, and the urge to bring this revelation to others is real, I feel that shit.

Honestly she SHOULD get a name at some point but I've been really indecisive. I do think she'd probably be a good character to join the actual Gingerwood staff, but then she'd need some kind of pastry/sweet name to match the theme and I've been indecisive.

Oh and her lower body is serpentine so her "height" is kinda tricky, but head to tail-tip she's probably about 8 meters long?

been working on a reverse au for a while !

in this, instead of being chained in place lamb walks the same circular path around a pole forever to teach them that life and death are circular, and theyre losing it in there

narinder, the last cat, agreed to help them on the condition that they let him take aym and baals spirits back, and those two act in rataus role of giving narinder advice (still as summoned spirits, not properly alive)

lamb does come around to him after he defeats them, they still hate being in public though

clauneck, kudaai and clemach take the place of the bishops, the story being that the war between gods got out of hand. when the old gods tried to extinguish kudaais forge, tear claunecks cards and take clemachs relics, all three were pushed to the brink trying to keep their place in the world. all of them felt forced to react to keep their roles and they fought back, immediately staeting to lose themselves as they did. clauneck thinks he controls the fates now (he has the misery mask on the back of his head), kudaai wields his own weapons every day, too paranoid to ever put them down, and clemach is overtaken by her need to ascribe things power, and doesnt care what she destroys to achieve it

Rapheal: "Michael. Message from the Devildom."

Michael: "Yes Rapheal. What is it?"

Rapheal: *hands Michael a letter with the marked with the wax seal of the Demon King*

Michael: *reads the letter*

Michael: "So.... Unless we allow Mc to leave the celestial realm, the Devildom will declare war on us. And you are quite sure that they are all serious about this? About starting another war after a long period of peace, for a human soul?"

Rapheal: "I'm quite sure. Actually I'm suprised that they all had enough restraint to wait to send the letter."

Michael: *clearly deep in thought*

Michael: "I see."

Mc: "Told you they would start getting real antsy if I was kept here."

Mc: *in Michael's office, standing on the other side of his desk with arms crossed*

Michael: *holding his face in his hands*

Michael: "I should've known they'd do something like this."

Mc: "Yep, you should've. Anyways I'm gonna go be with my boys now. See ya."

Mc was immediately dog piled by their favorite demons upon their return to the Devildom and was not allowed to leave for a long while

Thank you!! I have far too many thoughts on Town Kook Ford, so right now I'm mostly just trying to filter through my ideas and see what sticks. This time I'm actually going try and make the lore as simple as possible, because I already have another AU with a convoluted enough lore for me to handle :')

Little headcanon for my Ford: he is sometimes seen carrying around a disconnected house phone, listening to the silence and static from the receiver and engaging in conversation with no one at all, talking to himself, or his mother, or Fiddleford, or Stanley.

Sometimes he'll approach strangers in town and ask for Stanley's whereabouts, insisting that someone on the phone is asking for him, that they have something to tell him. It makes people avoid him even more, usually.

Sundown and Moonhigh are two performer animatronics that have a sort of 'cop and robber' routine where Sun plays the role of a sheriff and Moon the criminal. While they make put on an act of hatred on stage, behind the curtains, the two are inseparable

Moonhigh

Behind Moonhigh's swave and laid back veneer, he's just like any other Moon, a lover of mischief and play

I was also like 100% sure that moonhigh was an actual term??? Its not!!!!! It's from warrior cats

Moonhigh's clothing is desaturated due to sun bleaching and dust, his clothing is not as well taken care of as Sundown's both because of neglect from staff and Moonhigh's general distrust of them. This neglect is also the reason for his damaged faceplate as it was deemed too expensive to completely replace it and the injury enhanced how scary he was as a villain

Moonhigh's cape also doubles as a blanket! He takes good care of it and even washes it himself. It’s also handy for applying pressure to wounds, not that Moonhigh would ever need to use it for that purpose.

Moonhigh's designated flavour is coconut and he's usually seen in the Fazwest's milkshake bar between performances

Sundown

Sundown is a lot sweeter than most Suns though he does have his moments of apathy towards others due to him not quite understanding other's troubles due to his cushy treatment from staff

He shares the same general anxiety and mannerisms as his predecessors, he's always twitching and bouncing around

Sundown was similarly injured at to Moonhigh at some point but his faceplate was fixed, giving him a shiny green eye

Sundown has scarily accurate aim

Sundown's designated flavour is mango and he's usually seen in the horse stables in between performances
