you seem like the. kind of person who I'd run into during a rock concert while I'm trying to find bathroom and notably you are dressed kind of oddly for the concert (see: divorced dad outfit. hawaiian shirt. jorts. chunky sandles. giant sun hat.) and so I ask you "hello, do you know where I can find the bathroom?" and you go "yeah sure!!" and you point me the complete opposite direction from the bathroom. not on purpose, but because you also have no idea where the bathroom is. I thank you and go on my way, both of us oblivious to the fact we are currently very much not at a rock concert. it's an idie band that just screams really loud. sorry if that's specific you just give me giant 'perpetual tourist that isn't really a tourist and has never left their home city but just seems like a tourist anyways' energy

Okay so I wanted to find them the day before, but it was 30 degrees Celsius and I didn't wanna do that to myself, so I decided to go yesterday. I woke up at like 11am, and half an hour later I was on the train on my way to them. I had planned to go to the central station, but was prepared to change my route if they ended up wandering further into Amsterdam, so throughout my journey I kept an eye on the stream and the little map. First they went to a café, and I found it and pinned it on the map. They stayed in there for a long while, and afterwards they mentioned going to a FEBO, and judging by the direction they were walking I pinned that one on my map too. Then they were talking about the casino and I started getting close to Amsterdam Central, but my train was delayed and I got actually nervous they were going into the casino cuz I didn't want to bother them in there LMAO But then I was in Amsterdam Central, and they were walking along a bridge, and it was only a ten minute walk, so I hopped out that train and into Amsterdam. I was speedwalking through Amsterdam, man, and at some point I saw them crossing a road and I felt like a right creep just speedwalking after them. I had to wait for the light to turn green so I could cross the road and by then I had lost sight of them, but on stream they were inside a shop, and I figured out which one it was from the outside. I didn't want to walk up to them inside the shop, that's just disrespectful to everyone around, so I waited outside the shop for them to come out (waited around the corner, cuz I didn't wanna look too creepy). I was keeping an eye on the stream, and when Eryn filmed Harry and Bill outside the window I walked up to them and asked for a photo, and then Tubbo came out and I got my pics! I have the whole photo-taking screenrecorded on my phone, except without the sound cuz I'm a noob. And then I did my shopping and some schoolwork and went back home.

I'm not gonna post the clip I took from stream of me meeting them, but if you want to find it I'm not stopping you. I didn't really get a good pic so then Harry offered to take a photo for me, and Bill told me to take his place and stand between Tubbo and Freddie (I think I might've stepped on the side of Fred's shoe for a second there). Tubbo fist bumped me, told me it was nice to meet me and thanked me for coming all this way, then told me to get a stroopwafel for myself too.

i *WAS* so happy!! i was honestly trying to keep my hopes low for this show bc it was a john and peter duo when i booked it and i wasn’t sure how the change would change the vibe of the setlist but, needless to say my expectations were WILDLY exceeded!!!!!!!
