HOLY FUCKING SHIT ITS FINALLY DONE!! this drawing took me.. far longer than i'd like to admit.

this drawing isn't inherently romantic, interpret it however u like

9 months. it took me 9 months. a baby was conceived and then born in the time it took me to draw this. I started it in mid august and then Things Happened and suddenly i was barraged with homework, finals, and project after project after project. long story short, i was swamped and i didnt have the time or motivation to work on this drawing!! so it sat in my art folder for months, collecting dust . but alas, school is out and i had no excuse not to finish it, so i did!!

when i first started drawing this i kinda wanted to play with the idea of daisy having blood on her hands while basira is somewhat blind to it (with her eyes closed, in this example) and, quote, "i want to draw daisy and basira dancing n doing a little dip thing . and daisy's claws/nails/whatevers are digging into basira's back" thats really the main stuff i wanted to do symbolism with, u can dig deeper if you'd like
