1) What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

This is a good question😭 I think of Eloise as separate from the girl I played in the game, AND separate from the MC in general bc I completely changed ancient magic & the whole storyline to something more interesting to me. As I was playing the game, though, I was SO INTENSELY CURIOUS about what their backstory could be - why were they starting 5th year? Were they a squib? What about their family?

I honestly LOVE that the game is so open-ended about this, because it allowed me to find a way to place Eloise in with canon lore (her mom is actually mentioned by Sirius in the books🤭) AND (this hasn’t been revealed yet) give a conceivable reason as to why the Babbits are not in the Sacred 28 when the list is created.

I’m also FASCINATED by thinking of pureblood society & the Black family in general (Sirius/Bellatrix are my favorite characters & BOTH heavily influence how I think of Eloise) & I have so much fun MAKING ALL OF THIS UP !!!!!!!!!! I LOVE thinking of different traditions/ways that old pagan traditions can be corrupted by the purebloods trying to hold onto their legacy…how the purebloods navigate society and the world in VERY subtle interactions etc etc ETC !!!!! I could literally make a whole post on all of these headcanons I’ve made up about the universe my fic takes place in😆😆😆

Honestly NO😭 I think of her voice as very sweet but honestly it just kind of sounds like mine since I go into her mind so much as I write🤔 if anyone has any voice claims or ideas LMK !!!!

ELOISE HATES WEARING PANTS AND SHE HATES QUIDDITCH😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤 she HATE WATCHES every single quidditch match just to make sure Sebastian doesn’t get hurt…BUT she drags Ominis with her and tells him to let her know if anything happens bc she can’t bear to watch🤔 Sebastian is always getting himself hurt on purpose in Crossed Wands & even quidditch in the hopes that Eloise will come over🤭 bc she always insists on the muggle way…(everyone thinks they’re weird)

Another thing that I think is HILARIOUS is that as a design choice I just gave her a braid bc a) I think it’s cute & b) it’s a way to tame her crazy crazy crazy hair & c) so I don’t have to draw her hair down. BUT every time we talk about mc interactions everyone wants Eloise to show them how to braid their hair…SHE has to demonstrate though bc there is no way anyone that isn’t her could tame her own hair😫

I think tokyo vice suo likes to spoil you 24/7 in very grand ways as a secondhand trauma response to your previous financial insecurity ♥️ but when he's extra in-his-feelings I do think he is very lowkey about it. he mostly goes out of his way to spend time with you because he knows you have abandonment issues enjoy that a lot. I think he particularly likes baking for you because it's something he enjoys that he never gets to do anymore, and it also makes him feel like you two are a normal married couple :')

funnily enough, in the original version of the fic, there was a scene where you visit suo in his office (to yell at him) after he's been away for a long time (killing people). he's missed you a lot and wants to make it up to you, so he starts asking what dessert you'd like to eat and says he'll take tomorrow off and spend it baking with you. bro fully pulls out a paper notebook and pencil and starts writing up a grocery list for shopping in the morning. in the meantime, his buddies are sitting around doing meth (suo does not partake due to his strict diet) and his hands are still kinda bloody from the hit so his grocery list ends up stained with it. it was too absurd of a scene so I changed it LMFAO but that's basically what suo does when he really wants to make you feel loved: takes a vacation from killing people and becomes your househusband 😭

What is something you've always wanted to talk about on here but you've never been asked the right question?

this is a very kind and generous ask that has been keeping me up at night lately lolol as tbh it fits in to a larger crisis i've had about feeling like i've shared everything i know and care about over the last like five years of this blog especially and having written so many stories with so many AUs based on every facet of my life i find compelling. i just feel like i don't have anything new to say, and i can't really think of a pocket of my experience i haven't shared at least once in some capacity, except for the truly private things, but even THEY have been mined thoroughly for my stories.

i just feel a bit like a wrung dry sponge? i worry that i need to change things in order to absorb more water, like i need to hyperfixate on something with more substance than just the life of racing driver lando norris, which is what has me in the grip for the past few months. i need to get really interested in like. actual astronomy or shakespeare again or something that i don't even know about yet. which is kind of terrifying as i've been so thoroughly educated and spent so much time in libraries getting the scope of what there is available to know, and i've gone as deep into most areas as i've felt interest. so what do i even do to find some new land in a well mapped landscape?

tbh my depression is probably just hitting and i'll probably be fine in a few months babbling on about something or other, but right now i'm at a profound loss which is a bad feeling for an author lmao

I'll go first with mommy hwa cause that's gonna be a short drabble (i literally just started writing it but paused for now cause i'm at the hairdresser and there's too many ppl here now for continuing to write smut in public jdhdhdjd) and basically i just saw the fingers-in-mouth and was like "ok but..... what if it's.... your fingers in his mouth.... or his in yours....." and then my mind just went crazy with that jdbdjdnxhx it'll hopefully be out soon-ish, so you'll see 👀

As for the space pirates!! That started out as me wanting to write an ot8 x reader smutfest, and then as i was thinking about it more and planning scenes i kinda became more invested in the backstory of the members before reader was supposed to join their ship! To give a short (?) summary of the plot, it starts out with woo, yunho and mingi who are childhood friends living on the same planet, and they dream of a more adventurous life. So one day hongjoong, who's a feared space pirate, comes to the planet they live on and strolls around town and they basically have a little shoot off that hongjoong very easily wins - but woo being woo he can't keep his mouth shut and hongjoong is kinda impressed by him having the guts to talk back like that, so, in need of some crew members to take on the various tasks that need taking care of on a space ship, he asks the three to join him and that's the start of their crew!! Then over time the other four members join too, and as they fly all through space what they do is... well.... be gay and commit crimes jcndnxnxnx

Do you have frain headcanons?

I have been thinking for weeks that I would make a whole Frain headcanon list, but somehow this idea just stuck in my head. It seems like a compilation of some of their historical and personal relationships headcanons that I have. I hope you enjoy it <3

I like to think Spain has many exes, and France is clearly one of his, but the point is Spain keeps coming back to France... even when he is in a relationship with someone else.

Sometimes, it is not always wild s3x or a deep conversation. Maybe Spain just wants to be sitting silently on France's lap while he strokes his hair. Or Spain came to his house with a grocery bag, then made him a nice meal.

He misses France, but clearly not his manipulated and cruel side, haha. He longs for someone who understands his nature, gets his personal pace, and knows when to quietly take care of him or leave him alone. (Tragically) France is always a person like that for Spain.

Even before being a very close ally of France, Spain was canon fond of spending time with France. During the time when both he and France were ruled by the House of Bourbon, I think they spent a lot of time together and this makes Spain especially nostalgic now.

They hunted together, feasted together, and fought together. In those heady days, they ''belonged'' to each other. Nowadays, the ''Pacte de Famille'' will always be a time that Spain thinks of when he looks at the fleur-de-lis on his flag.

The not-so-funny part is France sometimes does the same when he is in a relationship with someone else. He also craved Spain. I think reminiscence is the knife ''killing'' both of them.

Both France and Spain know it is wrong to do that to their partner, but they can't stop it for centuries. Because they are both committing this sin, they can feel calm and relaxed that the other will not judge them.

They are secretly (+ wrongly) proud to be one of the most missed exes of the other.
