hey what’s up you guys welcome back to my channel— i did this post on my old blog ages ago which is unfortunately lost to time now and i wanted to do it again. so this has gotta be like, the third time some of y’all are seeing this but. fuck it we ball.

born from a post made by @unholymilf a loooong time ago that as more or less a question of if ur oc was a boss fight, what song would be playing and it struck me so here is ALL of my brain worms, including some new ones from the last post!

ANDIE— le soleil est près de moi; air.

POV: you’re bleeding out as andie is standing over you, burning white hot, hotter than the sun setting behind her. she is passionate and… reckless, and will swear this was self-defense. even if she struck first. even if she didn’t blink. even as she watches the life leave your body.

BIANCA— tricycle express; gaspard augé, mr. oizo.

POV: bianca is white knuckling her steering wheel, swiping her car against the side of your own for miles down the freeway. she is gonna run you off the road. she absolutely will; it’s unavoidable, and she’s gonna laugh while she’s doing it. this is the song she’s listening to.

CELESTE— vision; m83.

POV: “you will die soon. sooner than you were supposed to, now.” celeste deadpans as she hovers her hand over your forehead and waves. she makes a show of it, though her clairvoyance doesn’t require as much. you wish you had listened to her and thought better of asking in the first place. “it will be violent, and painful. give ares my best. leave my temple.” but you didn’t, and now it’s too late. your fate is sealed.

ELVIRA— old river; orville peck.

POV: you’re stiff, hairs on the back of your neck standing up. you’re being watched. this is a different kind of observation than the one you’re used to— the seeds constantly run surveillance on you, but this doesn’t feel as passive. you’re being hunted. and when you dare to turn on your heels to see elvira standing behind you with a crossbow bolt nocked with your name on it, you almost wish jacob was here to kill you instead. somehow, you know it would be more merciful.

OSLO— pennsylvania furnace; lingua ignota.

POV: oslo isn’t the deputy anymore. they’re the judge. eden’s gate is up a member who is worth a million and the resistance mourns a million more.

FAUSTINA— beyond the horizon; olivier deriviere.

POV: faustina is the last line of defense between you and the mother church. she’s a penitent, too, you must understand. the consecrated red ribbons she’s wrapped in are suffocating her the longer she takes to excommunicate you and she will try every prayer at her disposal to stop it—to stop you.

JEN— krack; soulwax.

POV: jen is chasing you through the fib building after she snitches on your whole operation to the iaa. you are an enemy of the state, but more importantly— you’re an enemy to agent jennifer daniels. she wants you dead, and you will be soon enough. especially if it’s up to her. and as of right now, she has you cornered in an interrogation room with nowhere to go and a gun to your head.

LOTTIE— arsonist’s lullabye; hozier.

POV: hawkins is ablaze, and lottie is at the scene of the crime staring into the flames.

LINDY— señor (tales of yankee power); jerry garcia.

POV: there’s barely anyone left to call a gang, and dutch knows as much. but he won’t admit it— that would require him admitting guilt for the losses, too. and he should be so lucky he’s still breathing; lindy wants to empty an entire revolver clip into his thick skull but knows she wouldn’t live long enough to feel the satisfaction. so she does the next best thing, and turns her back. there isn’t anything left for her, anyway. she would risk a lifetime of looking over her shoulder over having to look at him.

MAGS— change (in the house of flies); deftones.

POV: you’re being experimented on in an umbrella sanctioned lab and in walks mags— who you thought was on your side. after all, well fed devils behave better than famished saints. but not this one, she’s much worse.

MILDRED— god unbounded; uboa.

POV: you have just returned from the dead because some weirdo with a god complex and a proficiency in reanimating corpses decided that she needed the practice. and now that’s your problem, because you definitely have come back Wrong. but you’re back! surprise!

NICOLE— heart in a cage; the strokes.

POV: you’re witness to an absolute bloodbath as nicole goes crazy on the field. she’s completely lost herself, she isn’t in control anymore. she was always dangerous but now she’s lethal. she’s already gotten some of her own killed, and somebody needs to take her out before it gets worse. she’s a wild animal. and to her, you’re fresh meat.

SIBYL— summit song; nicole dollanganger.

POV: she drowns you in her scrying pool and you are never heard from again. it’s your own fault, really— anna henrietta told you to leave her be and you didn’t listen.

ROSALIND— goodbye; soap&skin, apparat.

POV: she begs mike for the coordinates of where it happened and he doesn’t budge. he never will. he doesn’t trust her not to take a shovel to the earth and dig him up. so in her state of delirium, she walks through the desert and screams and cries and repents. and becomes her own biggest villain.

ODETTE— graveyard; midnight syndicate.

POV: odette quite literally haunts her family estate, left to fall into disrepair. she’s a grief stricken wraith born of despair who brutally attacks anyone who dares step into her tomb. she’s a master illusionist even in death, so if you choose to fight her instead of just leaving, just make sure you first remove the mirrors from the wall.

—1. what drew your character to their love interest and vice versa?

sam was not immune to andie’s general aura of warmth, because who doesn’t wanna be around the physical manifestation of a ray of sunshine fr? andie is generally comfortable to be around and provided a much needed sense of warmth— a feeling that had evaded sam for so long. and even tho andie would never admit it, his silly charm worked on her so she was more than happy to stick around for his sake.

—12. do they have similar goals? if they clash, how do they deal?

andie doesn’t necessarily care abt the artifacts that they hunt so much as the journey to get there. there is so much history to absorb and she gets lost in it, while sam is more goal-oriented. of course, he’s gonna appreciate the craftsmanship and the history but he isn’t gonna spend so much time basking in it as andie would. sometimes he has to give her a gentle nudge to keep going cs “there’s still so much ground to cover, andie” while she’s just climbing a building to see it all before her as god intended. anyway.

andie will not drink a cup of coffee unless sam makes it for her. he gets the sugar to cream to coffee ratio perfect every single time and he did it once for her, just so she could have a cup and hopefully enjoy it. she didn’t really— she is still much more partial to tea but when she needs a little bit extra caffeine she brews a pot of coffee and sam just. knows to make her a cup.

—9. how open are they with their feelings?

it’s like pulling teeth to get either of these two to openly talk abt any kind of feelings whatsoever. good thing they have literally all of eternity to figure this out cs they will both put it off for as long as possible. most of it isn’t intentional tho, than is goddamn busy with mortals killing each other and celeste is just. thinking abt other things. like weaving the strings of time and evading questions abt the outcome.

quality time. than especially doesn’t have much time to spare so whenever he gets a minute, he’ll hang out with celeste in the house. or she will desire a change of scenery lest she drowns herself in the styx, so she’ll hang out at the balcony with than, overlooking the hoards of souls coming through and making idle chit chat. it’s their favorite part of the day. or—night? whenever.

there are three of those little white butterflies that hover around thanatos hovering around celeste when she’s in the house without him. when he’s in the house, they leave her and presumably just. go wherever the others go, but when he leaves they return to her and just. exist in her orbit. a memento, perhaps.

i do!! i think they compliment each other very well— live fast die young bad girls do it well you know. jk but fr panam is such a ride or die and bianca is fun and fresh and they just. have so much fun. bianca is always doing something new and looking for excitement and panam i think likes to be along for the ride so they’re really just best friends that are in a committed relationship. it works 🫶🏻

bianca lets panam fiddle and tinker with her car when she’s bored. panam has literally tricked the fuck out of bianca’s car just for fun— she installed a neon light kit, a spoiler, put a wrap on it, modified everything under the sun.

—20. did either person change at all, to be with their partner?

their whole thing is “it’s rotten work.” “not to me, not if it’s you.” so it’s a lot of both of them being traumatized and choosing to love each other anyway, which morphs them back into the people they’re supposed to be. you know? the love they have makes them feel like people again so they act like it. so not really a change so much as a.. reverse burial. an exhumation if you will.

odette is an artist at her core so she sketches a LOT. like a lot— i’m talking sketchbooks on sketchbooks. she has a few with dress designs, measurements, ideas, etc but a lot of them also have portraits and quick sketches of her friends, her family.

but she also has one sketchbook that’s just. all sketches of smoke. she pulls it out when she misses him while he’s away in earthrealm. sometimes she adds to it, others she just flips through it and ends up falling asleep with it. she’s a little obsessed with him idk

she loves summery, bubbly pop music it gets her so so so hype.

1. she’s a runner she’s a track star. she used to do cross country in high school and well into college so she is FAST for no reason.

2. sometimes she tends to self-isolate. she thinks that she just needs to recharge her social battery but she’s lying— this girl doesn’t ever need to charge that thing. it’s solar powered. sam is obviously the first to notice, when she doesn’t get out of bed or she would rather stay in the house while sam does a grocery run.

when she disappears from everyone’s call logs and text messages for a little too long, nate and elena and sully make it a POINT to get her out of the house. nadine and chloe take themselves to her house. either way, she will not be alone.

she’s a medium sleeper. she sleeps soundly enough for long enough through the night so she can comfortably wake up early for her daily sunrise dosage, but once in a while she’ll have a restless night and mope around until she’s tired enough for a nap.

she can use a basic pistol and as much as she doesn’t want to, she carries it. she’s seen all the gunfights they’ve unintentionally been involved in, and she’ll be goddamned if she gets caught in one unprepared.

she really should, but she doesn’t. she can probably stitch and suture if someone absolutely needed immediate medical attention but it would be a bang-up job. it’ll do, but human skin is different than embroidery on a pair of canvas shoes. the experience doesn’t translate well.

🚫 PROHIBITED — does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?

she is partial to the occasional glass of wine with a light meal or dinner, but not often. special event drinking is limited to light alcohol, like your champagnes or proseccos, your wines and your seltzers.

andie and nadine…. andie and chloe……… andie and both…………..

andie and nadine are giving golden retriever black cat energy which i am hugely into actually. andie waking nadine up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise and head out for an expedition as soon as possible and nadine doesn’t have it in her to be miserable because andie is just so excited to go. she would soften a little bit by being with andie for so long. chloe makes a comment abt it one time and nadine glares at her so hard. if looks could kill.

andie and chloe would also be so good cs they both share a common interest in thievery treasure hunting so the general excitement between the two of them abt hunting something down together is electric. definitely some passionate kisses on the top of cliffs and in caves just out of pure joy.

13: how do they react being away from each other?

they’re normal abt it. of course they miss each other a ton cs they’ve intertwined their lives with each other’s so tightly and there isn’t a lot they already don’t do together, but they really are normal when one is away from the other. however— that doesn’t stop them from acting like they’ve been apart for a hundred years when they do cone back to each other. it’s dramatic spinning hugs, it’s a long kiss in the middle of the foyer, it’s eye rolls and fake gags from nate if he’s there to see it.

14: is there anything they associate with each other?

sam associates hawaiian shirts with andie and will pick one up if he’s traveling and sees one she might like. and she does, every time. that hawaiian shirt he has on in lost legacy belongs to andie and she is so pissed that he took it and dirtied it all up. she’s not actually but she pretended to be mad as hell cs he looked better in it than she did

andie associates any of your typical annoying cheesy karaoke songs with sam. your piña colada song, your careless whisper, your eye of the tiger, etc. she puts them on a playlist and plays them loud as hell sometimes when she’s just bopping around the house doing whatever and he grumbles like “i hate this stupid song” but finds himself humming them the next day. andie pretends not to notice. one comes on somewhere that isn’t on the playlist and andie instantly is like “damn. gotta put this on the playlist.”

22: from the outside looking in, what is their dynamic like? 

they’re like. kind of grossly in love it’s almost sickening. nate and elena and sully end up used to it— elena is the least sick of it. she thinks it’s cute— but still try and pretend they don’t know them. like if you saw these two on the street you’re likely gonna see them attached at the hip in some way. it’s kind of the opposite of how you would present a relationship— in public they’re extremely affectionate but they’re so chill at home.
