#thank you guys again !!

a year ago today i published the first chapter of ‘bury me in metamorphoses’!

as cheesy as it sounds, this fic changed my life!!! all of the love and the huge amounts of reception it garnered reintroduced me to my love of writing, and it also introduced me to so, so many amazing people, both on ao3 and on twitter and on tumblr.

while i look back on the writing now and cringe a little bit, it still holds a special place in my heart. :,) my first fanfiction to gain any sort of traction and the way people love it means so, so much to me. there is SO much i could say about this fic and about my thought process writing it and how surreal the fandom reception was to it, but i don’t want to keep you here all day.

so, to put it simply; thank you. thank you for loving this little piece of work as much as you do, and thank you for how kind and loving you have been toward me as a writer in this community. i know i have been awol for a while, and my ao3 account is collecting dust as we speak, but your daily love and appreciation does not go unnoticed.

happy birthday, BMIM!!!! if you were wondering, i’m sure will and mike are chilling in a little cottage on the irish countryside right now, content and happy. they deserve it, after all.

hello to you, and everyone else..! im truly sorry i just disappear here from time to time and truth be told i dont have a real reason than, personal issues really haha but im doing quite fine :') i miss you all a lot, im really touched that a lot of you came looking for me and asking me how im doing. i cannot express enough just how much that really means to me so thank you guys! to come clean i just, havent really been drawing much at all to begin with. im overwhelmed by my extremely overdue commissions and ive just had no motivation to pick up my pen again i dont know.. i havent really been enjoying the way the people i care about interact with my art. usually im unphased by external eyes when it comes to what i want to do but, when it comes to people i love i guess it affects me. but everyday i try to fight away that lack of motivation but drawing excruciatingly slow but i am able to..! again, thank you guys so much for your kind messages and i promise i will be back, maybe i will try to draw requests and post them soon? i dont want to promise something i cant guarantee ill keep though but i want to be hopeful. i hope when im back youre all still here because you guys are one of the few reasons why i still find the slightest motivation left in me. i love you guys! more sniperspy again soon!

I’d really like to write one shots and so on for my fav ships, but I personally am barely keeping my head above water with credit card payments and my student loan payments, so I’ve seen others doing this so I’d just decided to clench my teeth and try it for myself. But I’m going to do commissions for my writing.

I just feel SO privileged to be a part of this awesome community and I wanna thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for reading and commenting and participating in all the random stuff I throw out there, and helping to form just such an amazing place to create and be open and exist in. There are so many fandoms out there that are... ahem, a bit difficult to feel connected to, but I've really only had good experiences with this one, and I truly think that all of you are the reason I've been doing this for... what? the likelihood of scott killing himself for pearl again is statistically high.

and i think it will be a beautiful parallel. because this time she really will forgive him after all.
