let’s party!! one thing about me is that is love a little event and since it’s my birthday month i felt like hosting one :3c

so: raffle time! but you gotta play some bingo first before you can participate. lemme give you a rundown on how it works.

what's the prize?

✰ a total of three 1k (or longer) fics from me! i don’t take requests so this is a rare chance to see something specific written by me ✰ the 3 winners will receive a wishlist form from me in which they can go wild ✰ haikyuu x reader only! gender of reader is for the winners to decide, i’ll write for all of them. ✰ not limited to sfw only (that being said: mdni)

details & rules (it looks like a lot, but i promise it's easy)

✰ to participate in the raffle, you gotta fill out the bingo cards! there’s ten of them in total at the end of this post. some are writing prompts, some are for reading, some to spread some kindness. you can grab and combine any that catch your interest.

✰ 1 bingo equals 1 point. if you manage to fill out an entire card, you’ll get 10 points, so 10x your name in the draw pot for the raffle. this means you can get up to 100 points in total if you fill out all ten cards completely.

✰ it’s not first come, first serve! you got two weeks to have fun with your bingo cards.

✰ this event is mostly about making fandom a little better for everyone, whether you’re a writer or a reader, no matter how you participate in it. this means you don’t have to show me proofs how you got these bingos. putting my trust in you that you won’t cheat <3

FEBRUARY

hi everyone! happy february ^^ i want to start posting progress updates at the beginning of each month, so that you guys are kept in loop with everything that happens with the story.

i didn't get as far as i'd hoped in january with chapter 1 (sorry, i've been hibernating 😔), but we're slowly and surely getting there! i keep going back and forth between writing a shorter time skip at first with younger MC, or starting right away with a longer time skip with grown up MC. either way, things are coming along nicely and i'm still aiming for a release in february. maybe not early february like i said initially, but still february!

not much else to report, just continuing to write chapter 1! 🫶🏻

🎃🎃🎃~Trick or Treat!~🎃🎃🎃

Treats of course!! Your Science & Fiction series is legendary for so many reasons but as per the course of Lokius themselves, the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end had me right from the start so here's a little something inspired by Mobius being Loki's rock whether he's always able to realize it in the moment or not 🥺🥰

Okay but, Price would see Nik resting like that and 100% be drawn in, until Nik's pulled him onto his lap. Price practically nibbling at those little grey hairs all over Nik's chest. <3

Oh I'm definitely having many, many thoughts about that ....

The art in question

I can just see Nik working on his helo on a hot summer morning, he's sweating, oil stains on him, jumpsuit tied around his waist since it gets so damn hot inside the hangar. He takes a break eventually, sitting on a chair and gulping an entire water bottle.

That's when Price walks in. He has some intel in his hand he wants to go over with Nikolai, although those files quickly end up on the floor when Price's eyes meet Nik's body, his face immediately flushed.

Nikolai chuckles and invites him in, Price picking up the files from the floor before approaching Nik, his eyes so hungry and unable to look away from him, drops of sweat going down Nik's neck until they meet the heavy greying fur of his chest, the way the golden chain falls around his neck, how some strands of his jet black hair are loose and stuck to his temples. It's the most beautiful sight John has ever laid his eyes on, and he gets lost in it.

Of course, Nik catches on really quickly, not unaware of his own charms. He smiles as he grabs John’s hand, pulling him closer until his favorite captain is sitting on his lap. Price mumbles something about people seeing them like that, and Nik reassures him by telling him no one has been around all morning, that it’s just them. John relaxes, his fingers timidly touching Nik’s chest at first, lost in the heavy hair there. His smell is incredible, just pure masculine musk, his cologne mixed with sweat and oil and Price wants nothing more than to kiss his skin, tease it, fucking bite into it if Nik allows it. His body wants him, all of it, against him, right there, right now. 

A quick glance around to make sure they truly were alone and Price indulges, lowering his face until his lips touches the side of Nikolai’s neck, his scent all over him, skin hot under his touch. Nik helps him, a firm hand around Price’s waist to keep him steady as he bends his neck to the side, giving even better access to the captain, who starts going lower and lower, until his nose is brushing against Nik’s fur.

This, this is the best spot. Price can’t remember how many times he fell asleep against Nik’s chest, his soft body hair and the heat of his skin better than any pillow. 

His lips quickly find one of Nik’s nipples, tongue playing around it, teeth teasing it until a soft, deep grunt leaves the Russian’s lips. 

That’s it for Nikolai, who decides to grab John by the front of his t-shirt and drag him to a small storage room near the back of his hangar. “Let’s review that intel” he says, and Price follows. 

Both of them are sweaty when they come out of that storage room.

Before the episode started I has been bracing myself for the genocide route, but it seem like what we ended up getting was the pacifist route because NEVER would I have anticipated such an empathetic twist??? I was dead convinced that my hopes/dreams of Puzzle redemption were squandered and left to rot (they probably still are to some degree actually lol but oh well I can accept that he’s a lovable psycho). And yet this episode does the impossible….giving us an unfathomably wholesome scene that helps heal his dejected inner child, even just a little. PLEASE this wasn’t something I was prepared for and it’s gotten such a strong grip on my heartstrings right now. I love themmmmm holy shittttt <33

I didn’t think Meggy would step up and try to connect with him like that especially since she was so aggressively defensive when he initially reached out. And I like that even when she gets to speak to Little/Kid Puzzles her behavior is very stern at first lol. Kinda like a disappointed older sister who can’t be bothered to put up with him for too long. But using Leggy as a way to build that bridge again was so clever of her—and hey it helped lure him into false sense of security so he’d get jailed up jskjsksp. Everyone wins I guess!! ALSO can I just say whoever composed the soundtrack (Zach Preciado for the rap segment specifically) deserves just as much praise as the voice actors because DAYM the layering of all those instruments and the seamless transitions into different emotional tones was superb :))

i kind of cheated bc i'm already reading palo alto and tale for the time being, but i like both of them a lot so i hope i finish them!! como agua para chocolate is something i've been meaning to read since like, middle school, so i hope i finally take a crack at it. i need to get back on the reading in spanish train (the last couple i've cheated and audiobooked, which is not a cheating way to engage with a story but isn't helping my reading ability get back up to speed lol) and i want to ease into it. i love le guin, so the dispossesed i've also been meaning to read forever. heard so many good things about murderbot, too. and thank you to @explosionshark and @random-french-girl for some of these recs from your eoy posts, they sounded really cool!!
