It’s enervating being close to someone like Homelander.

At first, it had been deliciously overstimulating receiving the tiniest speck of his energy. What he’s comprised of. Every single experiment performed on him; everything he’s destroyed and killed in the process.

It’s addictive to Eva. She can pour all of her pain into him, and, in return, taste the bottomless pit he is. This shining beacon of macabre hope.

He reminds her constantly that she needs him. While that holds significant weight, she can extract nourishment elsewhere if she chooses to, just as she had before knowing what he could mean to her.

She requires life to sustain her own. Such sustenance can come from plants, insects, animals, people, Supes; anything that has vitality.

This is simply another aspect for him to control, and she understands that. If Homelander can feel his essence masking any and everything else in her their his world, then he’s almost as satiated as she is.

However, sometimes, it drains her more than fills. It’s a conflicting phenomena within her body. Electric currents that repeatedly shock her into rejuvenation, into a power she can hardly describe with words, and then, a heavy affectation that bludgeons itself across something that normally consists of the rarest gold. Parasites and mold and all things ugly masking what shouldn’t have become so tainted.

Homelander’s shadow, as she calls it, is what usually ruins the intense pleasure she drowns in.

She’s uncertain what might have caused him to shift, but that particular darkness now enshrouds him, and she picks up on it straight away. The warmth emanating from him fades, replaced by a cold, eternal sickness.

Eva can absorb energy through her hands. If she concentrates enough, she can use her mind as well. But that requires a lot more than she can often give.

He’s demanding of her abilities, slipping ungloved fingers inside her nightgown. He grips her breast with fervor while his tongue flicks like a serpent’s, whispering the oldest of sins into her burning ear.

He coaxes her own unsheathed palms to take so he can see himself reflected inside her shapes, dips, curves, and colors. So he can become one with something outside of himself.

So he can be more than he’d been promised. Than he’d been conditioned to believe.

It’s not the first time he’s fucked her to experience even a fraction of what and who he is.

It’s lonely being the only one like him. The singular star at the top of the universe’s Christmas tree, separate from cookie-cutter tinsel and baubles.

It’s lonely being someone who is a reflection of all they’ve gorged on and buried within themselves. Homelander digs himself out as much as he can, causing a pain so deep, it’s beyond bones.

Gradually, Eva has become his mirror, and she’s lost herself within it.

i haven’t slept so i’m like, blanking on asamuna-san’s hobby gomen (i think it was acting??) 🙇‍♀️ but his would be sasara, komada-san the photographer would like to be rei and asanuma-san suggested dice for kamio-san’s magician hobby, and he didn’t disagree but he also locked in jakurai for his answer LOL

there was a sports question i think asking what sports they would like to play. kamio-san is already a recreational boxer!!!!! idk which of the two brought it up, but it was decided asanuma-san should definitely do curling and to demonstrate this, kamio-san offered to be his curling stone. asanuma-san stared at him blankly for a full 30 seconds before agreeing and it sent me LOL

komada-san said he’d like to be a basketball player and they even threw in a slam dunk reference just for meeeee (and the thousands of fans the series has and bc kamio-san is part of the cast LOL)

instead of doing a ranking quiz like bb, mtc seiyuu got to do a shooting target booth!!!!! if they got enough points they’d get to hold a raffle for the audience!!!!

asanuma-san pulled up in his long leather overcoat with a glock and hit two of the five targets and it was so cool like neo keanu who goddamn 😭😭😭😭😭

komada-san got to use a revolver and also hit two of the five targets!!!! (his gun also got jammed lol)

there were only two guns on the table so assnuma-san asked which of the two kamio-san would like to use and kamio-san pulled out a rifle from dj uichi’s booth LOL he also hit all five of the targets never forget who’s the goat in mtc lmao

the seiyuu had all been sharing the mtc champagne water and sipping out of that yakuza cup throughout the live but at the end during final comments, asanuma-san got really thirsty and bc every move he makes causes the audience to scream lmao, his little water break was interrupting kamio-san’s closing message lmao

komada-san decided to follow asanuma-san, so after he got thru with his drink, asanuma poured him some and komada-san drank from the cup. i’m sure by the frenzy it caused, we have another samajuto indirect kiss for the books LOL

asanuma-san served kamio-san as well and the audience tried to get him to chug LOL. he told them to save that energy for shinjuku lmao 😭😭😭😭😭

asanuma-san didn’t forget to serve dj uichi 🤗🤗🤗 i’d like to take this moment now to say that sharing a sake cup like the sakazuki cup usually means a sworn, lifelong bond between drinkers 🤗🤗🤗🤗

i started this blog right after jjk chapter 236 dropped— i was reading it while at office and got really shocked that sukuna split gojo in two that later that night i made this account to write my first fic (everything but not anything) out of sheer impulse 🥹 but before then, i’ve always liked writing. i often made drafts for original novel, thinking i’d post them in wattpad or quotev, but somehow along the way they always fell through and i never posted them :’)

after “failing” many times and convinced that my writing was so bad that i couldn’t even bring myself to post them, i stopped altogether. it was around college that i really stopped writing and became a reader. but yeah, after jjk 236 i felt like i wanted to write a story again and so i did so, creating this blog. and i’m so glad i did bc i wouldn’t have met ppl like you if i didn’t 🥹

i’m just your regular corporate worker, really 😭 i work at a big company in my city and it’s famous for its competitive salary but ofc it comes with a mountain of work :’) but i’m very proud to be working here—i’m earning money on my own and it’s really liberating to be able to do so 🤏🏻

and i’m honestly squeezing writing in the middle of my hectic life 🥹 i mean my schedule is more or less like this:

08.00–09.00 : morning routine, commute to work/breakfast bc sometimes i work from home but there are often times i need to be at office too

09.00-12.00 : work ☠️

12.00-13.00 : lunch break. usually i answer asks during this timeframe and let it on queue

13.00-18.00 : work ☠️☠️

18.00-20.00 : going back home and quick break for dinner. if it’s peak days then i continue my work after dinner 🥹

20.00-22.00 : work ☠️☠️☠️ / laze around and watching netflix, playing lads

22.00-02.00 : i give up on working at this time bc oracle is usually slow at nights so this is when i open tumblr again to queue asks and work on writing :D

i usually write at nights, often sacrificing my sleep time :’) but it’s just so fun especially when i’m inspired so i keep doing it though there are still times when i’m left burnt out too. but it’s always so so worth it when kind people here give me encouragement and leave kind words in fics—really you all make me so happy to be here 🥹🤍
