Don’t mind me I just like to see him go bananas about cartoonish Autobot rules
Maaan…..if Prowl was in tfp he would spontaneously combust at least once a day
#maccadam#transformers#prowl#tf prowl#there is no Prowl in Tfp so Optimus can pull all kinds of heroic cartoonish bullshit#and only Ratchet actually calls him out on it#but Ratchet also kinda has soft spot for Optimus#Op does sad eyes and Ratchet is like okay okay sorry I understand#Prowl would see the whole situation and lose his marbles immediately ahahahah#lol hey hey you. two people who read tags. imagine little au realquick#Autobots find the escape pod with Smokescreen right#but there’s two bots instead of one#back on the base humans look at the new guys and like#Smokey is fun and energetic and eager for heroism and adventure#and then there’s Prowl. The final boss. The ultimate MOM.#He makes one step into base and immediately starts scolding Optimus and everyone except for Ratchet#agent Fowler listens to him talking and decides that Prowl is his favorite autobot#damn. Prowl would SO not approve keeping humans around. Kids would hate him#but also he would be completely right. Because by keeping humans that close Autobots basically show that the humans can be used as leverage#against them you know.#He would immediately suggest getting rid of kids and hiring actual competent adults instead. So all hacking can be done by professionals#and all infiltrating can be done by people who are at least old enough to drink you know#yea kids would haaaate him so much#he would also build make all kinds of little annoying gadgets bc I have read Covenant of Primus and tfp Prowl is smart like that#he would be going around sticking trackers on every enemy he fights#and then triangulating Cons positions by the coordinates where their signals stop tracking#bc Nemesis blocks them#He would also keep sending Smokey to ghost through walls and steal all kinds of valuable shit from Megsy#they would be such a menace together#man this is getting kinda long I should probably stop

Ratchet, being interviewed: “I’ve seen the horrors of war. I’ve seen countless bots die in the battlefield, in space, in my arms. I’ve see bots being blown up, eviscerated, decapitated, drawn and quartered, tortured, beaten, and vivisected before my optics, but there is one thing I fear above all else.”
Human, coming in for the fourth time that week with an interfacing related injury: “Hey, Ratchet, it’s your favorite patient!”
Ratchet: “Primus, if you exist somewhere out there, take me now…”

Meanwhile, Rung in his office alone: ”Hmm? Oh strange, I thought someone called for me…Oh well.”

Your writing continues to be my little treat at the end of the day! Also I got to say I love the dynamic you're building for Optimus, he's certainly one of my top favourite bots and I was crazy happy when you started writing with him.
I remember you mentioning Wheeljack is your fave (please correct me if I'm misremembering) and I noticed poor Wheeljack hasn't gotten much attention lately 🥺 so, could you consider giving our beloved scientist a little love? ❤️🤍💙
Sure- G1 Wheeljack was the first TF character I fell in love with.

Circuits and Wires Pt 7
Wheeljack x Reader
• Glancing over at you again, his vocal indicators flicker fitfully. Knows you’re still worried about Ratchet’s human. Upset that you hadn’t been able to help at all and your melancholy is making his spark ache, because he’s never seen you like this. Almost defeated somehow. Doesn’t even realize he’s tapping the end of a tool against his work station until you look up. And that empty expression is hidden behind a smile. “Everything okay?” You ask, pretending that you’re fine even though he knows you’re not.
• “No,” he says, setting a tool aside. And he’s just staring at you, making you wonder if you did something wrong. Had he asked for something and you hadn’t noticed? Standing up, you wrap your arms around yourself because even with the mask, you’re positive he’s frowning at you. Reminding you just how useless you are. All you really can do is fetch him small odds and ends and get in the way. And you’d known that, but seeing that other person hurt and being so utterly useless had driven it home. You can’t really assist him in any meaningful way, you can’t even help another human being.
• Laying his palms on the work station surface, he hauls himself up and mass shifts, almost losing his balance and pitching backwards when his center of gravity shifts. Hearing your startled cry as you run to him, little hands grabbing at him and pulling. Not even realizing that if he does fall, you’ll get dragged over the edge with him. That fear gives him the nudge he needs to pull himself up onto the surface, knocking you back and ending up sprawled half on top of you, hearing your pained little wheeze. “What the heck?” You groan, looking up at him as he shifts over you. Not exactly what he’d been going for at all, as he looks down at you. The way your hair is spread out haloing your head, the little flecks of color in your eyes he’d never actually noticed before. The way his hips are cradled intimately against yours.
• Sucking in a deep breath as soon as Wheeljack scrambles to get his weight off of you and nearly scoots himself backwards off the counter top again, he finally freezes when you grab his hand in both of yours. But he’s refusing to look at you, his vocal indicators flickering a flustered pink. Embarrassed? He’s not quite your size, but he’s much closer and now that you’re not terrified he’s going to hurt himself with his own clumsiness, you don’t know what to make of this. “I didn’t mean to do that,” he mutters as he turns to look over his shoulder at the sheer drop.
• Reaching up to press his servos against one of his vocal indicators panels and willing it to go back to its normal blue, he glances around the lab just to avoid having to look you in the eyes a bit longer. This is a wholly new perspective for him, everything so much bigger than he now is. Except you, you’re still so small. “How did you do that?” You ask, scooting closer to him, reaching out to pick up his other hand in both of yours. And you’re smiling when he looks at you, little fingers running over his joints in open curiosity. Touching him without hesitation. When he really wishes he could do the same. Would you let him or would you pull away?
• Pulling his hand free, you wonder if you crossed some boundary between you without thinking. But then those warm, gentle servos are brushing you as he cups your cheek. His blue optics so bright as they hold your eyes and your breath catches. Unsure how to feel with him touching you and looking at you like that. Like you matter to him. “I’m not good at this stuff. The emotional stuff,” he mutters, a thumb sliding under your eye. “But you didn’t do anything wrong. It wasn’t your fault you didn’t know what to do.” And you didn’t realize how much you needed to hear that until he says it. Not thinking as you lunge for him, arms looping around his neck as you bury your face against his neck. Halfway in his lap, but not caring as his arms wrap around you. Needing this so badly, to be held and told that it’s okay.

bug trouble (TF Prime)
featuring - Optimus Prime x F!Reader, Bumblebee x F!Reader, Smokescreen x F!Reader, Knock Out x F!Reader, Wheeljack x F!Reader, Soundwave x F!Reader, Shockwave x F!Reader
summary - you have faced some of the worse Decepticons/Autobots with them, so your fear of little organic insects mystifies them
warnings - the Bots and Cons shoot at/step on/crush the spiders, some of them by accident
a/n - i don't condone killing anything but in my opinion this is how they would solve it, as battle-hardened warriors
OPTIMUS PRIME
Optimus and the team had just come back from another dangerous and tiring mission to stop the Decepticons from getting their servos on a relic. The base was suspiciously quiet, and they were sure that you and the other humans hadn't followed them through the ground bridge this time.
So where were you?
Ratchet was at his usual station, chuckling to himself, which earned suspicious looks from Arcee, Bulkhead and Bumblebee.
"Ratchet?" Optimus called. "Where are the children?"
The medic turned to the returned team, "At this point, I don't know. (Name) screamed randomly, and they scattered."
"And you haven't even tried to find them?" Arcee crossed her arms.
"I was just doing that now," Ratchet replied.
"Then why were you giggling like a little girl?" Bulkhead asked.
Optimus walked over to check the screens, spotting you in one of the camera feeds. You were in one of the relic containment units, running around the platform holding the relic, frantically. The Prime immediately turned and walked to that room, leaving the others to bicker. When he opened the unit, you screamed and ran past him, sobbing hysterically.
A little black thing with eight legs was following behind you.
(Name)," the Prime called, "Wait."
He followed you, back to the main area where you circled around Bulkhead and ran back to him, trying to scale his leg. Optimus bent down and lifted you up.
"My love, what is that following you? And why are you afraid?"
"It's a spider!" You wailed, "And it's got eight creepy legs and six creepier eyes!" You shivered. "Stuff of nightmares, really." Tears still streamed down your face.
Optimus looked back down at the arachnid, which was hesitating to follow you up his leg. Arcee shivered as well, the sight of the spider reminding her of her worst enemy.
"I shall get rid of it," the Prime handed you to Arcee before reaching down to pick up the arachnid. It crawled onto his digit, and in his attempt to grab it with his other servo he accidentally crushed it. "Oops."
You shivered when he reached for you again, "Optimus, I love you but if you touch me with the remains of that infernal thing on your servos, I will jump out of your hands and accept my fate."
The Prime was even more confused, but complied and only reached for you when he had cleaned his servos. You happily returned to him, relaxing in his hold.
"You have faced the likes of Starscream and a zombie Skyquake," he looked at you, "Yet you fear a little earth arachnid?"
You pouted, "Did I mention the eight legs and six eyes?"
Optimus was still confused, but comforted you nonetheless. He held you and stroked your back soothingly with one digit, telling you about their mission to distract you. It worked, for the most part.
BUMBLEBEE
All Bumblebee wants to do after a long day of fighting Cons is to sit and have you curl up to him as you watch a movie. The feeling of you against him always calms him, and never fails to destress him after a mission.
Unfortunately, when the team got back there was no sign of you or Jack, Miko and Raf. Only a giggling Ratchet, which set off alarm bells in Bee's processor.
The scout beeped a few times, asking the medic where you were.
"I did not know myself," Ratchet replied, "Until I took a look at our surveillance systems." He stepped aside to show the team.
Bumblebee spotted you immediately, and he immediately grew concerned. You were on his berth in his berthroom, shaking and frantically looking around but otherwisd stuck there for the time being.
The scout beeped worriedly, rushing off to save you from whatever horror was in his berthroom. When he opened the door, he saw something black with multiple legs scuttling around the room, and you were sobbing on his berth.
"Bumblebee!" You cried out when you saw him. "Blasters out, please!"
He beeped, asking why, and when you pointed to the arachnid on the floor he asked, Why do you want me to shoot something so small? It seems harmless. When you burst into even more tears, he quickly corrected himself, I mean, you've gone up against Starscream and Knock Out! Why does this thing scare you?
"Bumblebee please!" You begged, "I'll explain after, please just get rid of it!"
The scout obliged, blasting the arachnid to bits before coming closer, picking you up. You offered him rushed, relieved thank you's, before promptly burying yourself in his neck cables.
"It's got eight creepy legs," you complained to him, still shivering. "And six even creepier eyes. I hate them so much. I won't sleep for the next few nights."
Bumblebee beeped again, I will always protect you.
"I know...but these creepy crawlies..." You shivered again. "I would rather get kidnapped by Knock Out than face one of these again."
Bumblebee whined, Don't say that!
You laughed, kissing his faceplate, "Thank you, my hero."
His chassis puffed out in pride.
KNOCK OUT
Starscream could be very annoying, this much you knew. He often got on Knock Out's nerves, more so than the doctor let on. But there were apparently no limits to heeled Decepticon's cruelty, because somehow he had found out about the human fear arachnophobia.
Because now the eight-legged abomination was scuttling around Knock Out's lab, stranding you on the tool table.
This was how the medic found you, on your hands and knees peering over the edge of the table. You were trembling, something he'd never seen you do. There was a wild, fearful look in your eyes that didn't match your usual behaviour, and Knock Out looked around.
"Am I missing something?"
You screamed and fell backwards, chest heaving, "Knock Out! Don't scare me like that!"
"You were scared long before I got here, sweetheart. What's the problem?"
"You don't see it?"
Your eyes once again landed on the floor, glued to something that was moving. He looked down, his optics narrowing in on the small, furry eight-legged creature.
"What is that?"
"A spider!" You shuffled back on the table. "Please get rid of it!"
The mad doctor looked confused, "You've come with me to battle Autobots, and have stood in the middle of our fights, but you afraid of something so tiny?"
You glared at him, "Count its legs and eyes before you judge!"
He sighed, but got rid of the arachnid by stepping on it. Then he proceeded to complain about getting his pede messed, and you face-palmed. At least you were calm now and no longer shaking, so he decided to ignore that.
"How did a spider even get on the ship?" He asked you, scooping you up and placing you on his shoulder - something he seemed to enjoy.
"Take one guess."
"Screamer?" He already knew the answer without your confirmation.
"Mhm."
Knock Out didn't take kindly to anyone messing with what belonged to him. Especially if it was his precious little human. So the next time Starscream needed repairs, you laughed when you heard his repair had malfunctioned, knowing that the mad doctor had purposely sabotaged it.
SMOKESCREEN
Every time Smokescreen thought he had found out all he needed to know about the human race, he was smacked in the helm with something new. He hadn't even considered that you had fears, since he had seen you face Decepticons and not even flinch.
Yet here you were, screaming murder and running away from a little black thing with eight furry legs. The rest of the team looked up from their positions, Miko's face paling as she took off as well.
"What's that?" Smokescreen looked at Bumblebee, confused.
Bumblebee beeped a few times, explaining that spiders were eight-legged, six-eyed arachnids that freaked you and Miko out like nothing else.
Smokescreen looked at you again, before going over and picking you up. He didn't understand your fear, but he didn't want you to feel scared when he was right there.
"It's okay, I got it!"
He tried stepping on it, but it scuttled away. He set you down on his shoulder and tried to grab it, which made you yelp and attempt to scale down his back.
"No no no!" You kept muttering, shivering and shaking like you were in some kind of horrible trance.
"It's so small!" He grit his dentae, reaching for it again. "This thing isn't as scary as some Decepticons." He meant well. He just sometimes said stupid things.
"I would rather fight Starscream again than be around that thing!" You cried, climbing as far back as possible as he finally got a hold of it. You slipped and fell off his shoulder, but Smokescreen's reflexes were great. He caught you in his other servo.
"Uh, Smokescreen? Not a good idea," Arcee watched as your whole body went rigid when the spider escaped his grip and crawled along his arm.
You screamed so loudly you might have damaged his audials, but he realised his mistake and quickly handed you to the nearest Autobot as he frantically looked all over his body, trying to locate the infernal creature. He managed to get it, but only after he sped out of the base to remove it outside, to prevent you and Miko from passing out.
When he got back, you shivered but allowed him to pick you up again, and he grinned, "I don't understand it, but if it scares you it's probably bad, right?"
You smiled.
WHEELJACK
Wheeljack is pretty fearless, so you often feel intimidated by him and insecure about your own fears. You never told him about your deathly fear of arachnids, and he never asked. He assumed you were like him, not scared of anything.
That is, until today.
When he got back from a mission with Bulkhead, he immediately sought you out. Even Miko was missing, which the green Autobot found strange.
"Where's (Name) and Miko?" Wheeljack asked Raf and Jack, who were playing a racing videogame.
Jack shrugged, "Haven't seen them since we got here after school."
That was even more odd. Usually you would be here waiting for him to get back from wherever if he wasn't here. Then, moments later, a scream rang out through the base. Wheeljack recognised that as yours and took off towards the sound.
When he found you, he stopped dead.
You were running in circles around his berth, looking over your shoulder. He tried to spot what was apparently chasing you, and only did so when the thing scuttled out from behind his berth, in the direction you were headed. You screamed again and changed directions.
"What is that?" Wheeljack asked, confused on why you were so terrified.
"Spider!" You wailed, running to him and hiding behind his massive leg. "Kill it!"
He raised a big metal eyebrow, "You're scared of that tiny thing? You've faced vehicons and Dreadwing with me and that little creature is what's shaking you?"
You groaned, "I knew you would judge! Where's Bulkhead?"
"Okay, okay, no need for that," he grumbled and picked you up, setting you carefully on his shoulder before kicking the arachnid, sending the dreaded creature flying and hitting the wall. It crumpled, laying on its back and curling inwards.
"Thanks," you sighed in relief, but still looked tense. "Now get rid of it."
"It's dead."
"Dead and no less creepy!" You protested.
"Yeah, yeah." He rolled his eyes, but got rid of the dead spider. When he got back, he watched you carefully. "You good now?"
"Much better," you confirmed, but still looking like you had seen a ghost.
"Come here."
Wheeljack wasn't a cuddler, but he figured the best thing to do as your boyfriend was get in some snuggles to soothe you. And maybe, MAYBE he enjoyed it too, but Primus forbid he ever admit that out loud.
SOUNDWAVE
Like Knock Out, Soundwave didn't understand how an earth creature got on the ship. And since you seemed so horrified, he concluded that you didn't bring it with you.
He was aware the second you're terrified, as predicted, so you didn't have to scream and cry for help. You just hid wherever you could, and waited for the silent Decepticon to find you.
He stopped his work to come check on you, and to deal with the cresture that was inspiring such fear. Once he's in his berthroom, it's not hard for him to locate the arachnid, and he got Laserbeak to carry it out and drop it off the Nemesis.
He then scanned his room for you, finding you in a little crevice under his berth. He coaxed you into coming out, tilting his helm as if asking why you were afraid of such a little thing.
You shivered, your eyes scanning the room before looking at him, "They're scary. Did you see how many eyes and legs it has??" You shivered again.
Soundwave patted the top of your head, comfortingly. Then he tilted his helm again, words appearing on his visor, You have been through far worse, encountering the Autobots and other Decepticons.
"I know but these things are the stuff of nightmares!" You complained. "I would rather fight any Cybertronian than be in a room with one of these again..."
He nodded in understanding, not quite understanding your logic there but there but nonetheless agreeing. Whatever made you less scared was preferred, after all, he didn't like seeing how terrified you had been.
Feeling better? Popped up on his visor.
You nodded, calming down, "Much. Thank you."
He displayed a red heart.
SHOCKWAVE
Shockwave was used to dark, confined spaces with rodents and other creatures scuttling around. He had been stuck on Cybertron for years, after all. So he doesn't think much of it when an earthly creature finds its way aboard the Nemesis.
Until it starts to bother you.
He walked into his lab one day to see you on your hands and knees on his tool table, peering over the side. He instantly noticed the slight tremble of your small form, and approached you cautiously.
"What is the matter?"
You screamed and jumped despite his careful approach, turning to him with wide, frightened eyes before snapping them back to whatever was on the floor.
"There's a spider!"
"I do not understand."
You turned back to him, but your eyes flickered to the ground every so often, "These earth creatures with six eyes and eight freaky legs."
Shockwave nodded in understanding, before tilting his helm, "You are around Decepticons who are much larger than you, and coukd squash you easily, yet that tiny insignificant creature frightens you? That is illogical."
You sighed, "That thing is just creepy okay! I can handle giant Decepticons, I just can't do spiders." You shivered.
Shockwave didn't argue, going over to the bug and studying it for a second before picking it up and making his way out of the lab to get rid of it. You relaxed when it was gone, and when he came back you were lying on your back, trying to overcome your shivers.
"It is gone."
"I know, thank you," you sat up. "It just feels like smaller ones are crawling all over me."
He reached out to let you climb onto his servo, keeping you close to him to comfort you while he continued his work.

You know a way you can absolutely startle tfp OP? Him witnessing any of the tfa bots casually losing limbs and treating it like an inconvenience most of the time that can easily be fixed. (because it can, with Ratchet and/or the key around) Like Sentinel losing his head, or Ratchet having his arm ripped off.
TFP has transformers be fully biological beings that happen to be made of metal and have technological aspects to them. This is why (sans Soundwave) you can't crack open their heads and download information from their brains. That would both kill them and- if they survive- give them severe brain damage. Which would probably end up killing them. (Both why the Cortical Psychic Patch was invented, and why it unsettled people so much. Because one wrong move and you could render someone brain-dead) This is why they also need physical therapy after getting a limb replaced, and why there's a risk their bodies might reject organs that aren't their own (t-cog transplant)
TFA has transformers be fully technological beings. They don't bleed (as far as i'm aware,) they can add and remove parts of their bodies with little to no risk, they can even Create new transformers by straight up Building them. (Omega Supreme) They're Weird in every possible way, for tfpOP. Not to mention He'd be SO ODD to the tfa folk. He's basically a different species entirely from all of them.
yet funnily enough, tfa can do things like drink oil and be children ("good morning young-bots!" , referring to human children as "protoforms," etc.) while tfp can't. It's so silly
yeah exactly, the episode where bulk just gets decapitated will freak him tf out
his secrecy and being uncomfortable with exposing himself to the public is how he doesnt become a target to that purple haired mad inventor (forgot his name and im not bothered enough to look it up) because given how hes just so much arger than everyone else he wouldve probably been the primary target
and when he sees Bulk just a head roaming around hes gonna freak
this by all accounts should be impossible, but apparently it is, and yknow what, if this wayward logic of this world is keeping bulk alive he is not gonna question it
tfa Ratchet is actually gonna spend timje examining and scanning tfp OP and basically studying him, because due to his diffrent biology, if anything happens to tfp OP e is not gonna know how to patch him up
not even Sari's key works on him

My Littlest Pet Shop [au] tf x reader Absolute Territory pt.1
! DO NOT take this too deep&seriously, these headcanons are just for fun and for freaky freaks like me. This is my AU, so I am smashing everything I know together !
To fully understand what's happening here SFW + short story
You are a pet. Simply put — a pet. Time has passed since you first arrived on the Lost Light. Drift was the one who rescued you from the evil servos of Decepticons, who were ready to squeeze you like a stress ball and toss away your limp, soulless body. But for once, lady luck had finally smiled upon you.
Drift had actually planned to present you as a gift to his conjux, Ratchet — thinking that the always-busy medic could use a stress-relief pet to hold and lazily petting on the back or their little helm during breaks from work. He had no evil intentions, really! It was just that you were so small, miserable and terrified that you were facing a terrible death that he just couldn't pass by and leave you alone! Drift wanted to protect a creature so fragile and give it to his care. Of course, Ratchet immediately scolded his beloved and intended to return you to your shop owner.
But then — you clung to his digit for dear life, eyes full of tears, looking like a kicked puppy. You mastered all of your acting skills as soon as you realized these big bots ain't gonna keep you. And… his spark ached at this scene. Congrats! This old bot's feelings have been melted by your poor condition and tears.
So, you took full advantage of your current situation.
By the grace of Primus, Rodimus and half the crew had been to Earth before, so they understood your language. It was much easier to convince others to let you stay — especially once they realized you weren’t just some mindless animal, but a sentient, thinking being. Not without effort, but you've gotten everything you need for yourself from Rodimus; new clothes, hygiene items and your own separate, organized corner room with private bathroom. Once the red-and-yellow blob Rodimus Prime even chimed in on how expensive it is to keep a human pet. And quickly apologised for it under Ultra Magnus' stern gaze.
Things got a little awkward after that… yet still pretty chill. Because, at the end of the day, you were helpful!
Well, at least for being adorable, cute, little human, welcoming exhausted mechs back to the ship after long missions. All pretty to look at.
SWERVE
Your first ever close friend was Swerve! Oh, this guy not only loves humans but is also obsessed with your shows, music, and everything else. And he’s the funniest bot around! One of the Autobots who didn't see humans as little pets and really got into your kind as their equals. So, obviously, it was easy for you two to become close and hang out together at his bar. When you don't have much to do, you always find his company and you talk about something. And you're so open to him, not just his mask of perpetually cheerful bot, not just as a good bartender, but as a real person. Well, who better than you to know what it's like to be degraded to the level of an animal with no personality or intelligence? Right.
You often helped him with drinks as much as you could. At one point, you almost convinced him to buy you roller skates, a cute short skirt, and a blazer so you could skate around, clean the floors, or deliver energon to the minibots at their tables... Though, you both understood that being exposed to energon was extremely dangerous for you. So, in the end, all you really did was stay by the bar with him, entertaining mechs with your human stories!
However, he did end up buying you a mini skirt, a blazer, and even a few extra pairs of clothes…
RUNG
Oh, this sweet, sweet bot. So Gentle and patient with you! Maybe, that is a thing that you get along with minibots due to them being not so large and tall. Yes, Rung was much bigger than you, but at least you felt relatively safe, without the fear of being crushed suddenly and recklessly. You could say that for all minibots, if you think about it. What didn't escape your keen gaze tho, was the way that despite the smile so tenderly bestowed upon you by the Autobot, you sensed something deeper, even sadder, behind it. What's more, you've quietly become the second therapist for the Lost Light crew without expecting it. In fact, you were still happy to listen to mechs, to help them sort through their feelings or just simply be here for them when needed. Rung is not an exception to it, and honestly? He appreciate it. Very much. He shares his thoughts with you, often asks you about your past, and even showed you his model ships collection! Under very close watch. You even held one ship in your hands. Not for long, but still! For extra help, you would sometimes sit with Rung in his office and listen to him talk to his patient. Their chatter, which you couldn't understand at all, made you want to go to sleep often. What were you doing there anyway? Well, you played the role of an emotional support animal human. And he sometimes needs that kind of help too, at times even more private. RODIMUS Erm, this one is... defo something. The 'fuckboy' vibes you get from him are miles away! And that's not even your problem, Rodimus immediately started playing along and flirting with you as soon as you were aboard their ship. It was nice, as odd as it sounded, but you could easily tell it was just one of his personality traits and he didn't mean anything serious by those words. He loves attention — that's what you learned short after. Since you have plenty of time, you put aside your Cybertron history lessons (thanks, Ultra Magnus, again) and go pay a visit to see Rodimus. You'd think that since he's the captain of the ship, he'd be busy all the time. But in reality? Uh, 7 out of 10? You always wondered 'does he actually do his job?' Kinda...We're not here to discuss work, are we. He'll gladly welcome you into his quarters where you can talk or even help him with some business, more often than not related to real, necessary work, or watch some cool Earth media (cool stands for action movies). However, you quickly remember Ultra Magnus' very menacing faceplate and rush Rodimus to finish the important paperwork. And he's whining, making such a pathetic optic expression that you believe he's about to cry. No, he doesn't cry, just ex-vents and gets to it. At least it's not so boring doing it with you around. But if you really annoy him with reciprocal flirting enough, he'll first start to panic, and then…. you'll have to accept the consequences of your brazen flirting with your hands on him (he really liked the way your soft touch slid over his armour).
(I know Rodi is more than that, chill)

Can doing little discussion about tf prime ratchet that not knowing at all about human medicine?
I meant from ratchet situation even he and other stuck on earth he not having humans around so he feel O need learning human medicine at all, but when Jack, raf and Miko came to base, he still not learning about human medicine. Sure he probably thinking that the kids will be fine because they still in base but of course the kids again getting involved in battle , again he not learning human medicine for childrens even after they getting involved in battle, sure they are fine but sometimes they are not so lucky.
And well raf is the victim of dark energon, even ratchet hopeless to help raf again it was a luck he can help raf.
I know ratchet annoyed by humans and frustrated with war and all but really I think it's very reckless and irresponsible that ratchet not starting learning human medicine when he have human childrens around.
So what do you think about this tf prime ratchet behavior?
Honestly, I may be fought for this assessment, but I think Ratchet's lack of knowledge on human medicine is to be expected.
Think about it this way. You get a pet mouse, and to take care of it, you learn what it needs to survive. Food, water, shelter, and sufficient enrichment. The average person doesn't end up learning much more about his or her pet because they don't need to. The pet in question, generally speaking, especially if kept in a habitat, will be fine 95% of the time. Sure, the pet may have its quirks, resulting in special adjustments to environment and necessities. But overall, all needs to own a pet is a basic understanding.
Do you know every possible disease that could befall your dog? Do you know about possible treatments for skin cancer in rodents? How about potential genetic issues in snakes? Ratchet isn't a vet, he's a doctor. And for a majority of the show, let's be real, the kids are like pets. Ratchet can keep them fed, keep them safe, and patch up minor injuries by throwing Band-Aids at them. But up until the dark energon incident, there really wasn't a ton of reason for him to learn more about the children because, again, generally speaking, pets in a solid habitat don't tend to get hurt in weird ways. And even when they do, that's what an actual vet is for.
And guess what? June is a human doctor. She is, essentially, a vet. Ratchet had no real reason to learn more than necessarily. Additionally, there was the issue of time, tension, and his sheer size. For him, learning delicate human medicine would probably be the same as a human trying to conduct life saving surgery on a carpenter ant. It would be nigh on impossible due to size and anatomy differences. Sure, even if he learned HOW it worked, that wouldn't directly translate to skill.
With the war, the team constantly getting injured, and a thousand other things happening, I doubt Ratchet had the time or the patience to learn the intricacies of the class hamster's biology.
Maybe he learned some of the simple stuff and rolled from there and we just never got to see it really showcased. I don't know. But this is my assessment.

Drift Playlist
It's been A While, but I completely revamped by Drift playlist. It's in chronological order from Dead End to the end of the events of Lost Light and broken up by time periods/major events. I have lots of notes and explanations for almost every single song under the cut (fair warning it is LONG, so only look at the stuff under the cut if you're interested or you'll be scrolling for a while). Please feel free to chat w me about any of it bc I am so very passionate. Cover art is also mine!
PRE-WAR/DEAD END 1. Bug Like an Angel - Mitski 2. Junkie Church - AJJ 3. Cocaine Jesus - RKS -honestly can also double for when Drift is in exile. I feel like it's super applicable thinking about his friends from Dead End and his general situation, but also later after he leaves the LL and is thinking about Rodimus 4. Camisado - P!ATD -who tf is caring about the guttermechs? Again, this would also be a good Deadlock song 5. Runs in the Family - Amanda Palmer (sorry ik I also hate her) 6. Brand New City - Mitski -what can I say, Megatron gave him purpose DRIFT, MEET RATCHET 7. Wretch - Autoheart -Specifically when Drift meets Ratchet in the Dead End clinic on Rodion 8. Underground - Cody Fry 9. Back To Life - Mother Mother -This feels very.... mmm Dead End to me. Very "fuck you, I'll do what I want" 10. Arms Tonite - Mother Mother 11. LIE WITH WOLVES - The Dogs on Shepard Street -”I’ll see you in my brothers, I’ll see you in the end” -”lie with dogs and you’ll get fleas. Lie with wolves and you’ll get teeth” DECEPTICON DEADLOCK 12. The Killing Type - Amanda Palmer (sorry againnnn) -I know he didn't exactly feel... bad? while he was first joined up. Just indulge me here 13. Cirice - Ghost -Megatron is Very Convincing. I'd revolt too. 14. Washing Machine Heart - Mitski -unfortunately, I read a great fic where Deadlock and Megatron kinda had smth going during the earlier war days and this song just feels Right. -Additionally, fitting for post-exile abt Roddy 15. Nicotine - P!ATD -see above 16. War Pigs/Luke’s Wall - Black Sabbath -”Politicians hide themselves away. They only started the war, why should they go out and fight?” 17. King For A Day - Pierce The Veil 18. Black Sheep - Dorothy 19. Girl is a Gun - Halsey -also one of my Starscream songs 20. Damonisch - TUYU -perfect fast-paced slasher 21. Set Me On Fire - Flyleaf 22. Cocoa Hooves - Glass Animals -cross-faction romance? on my playlist? -"You never fight back"... oh like a Medic? Who's job is healing regardless of alignment? 23. Lay All Your Love On Me - ABBA -see above 24. Headlock - Imogen Heap -”got your heart in a [Dead]lock”? Sorry that was SO cheesy 25. Wolf in Sheep's Clothing - Set It Off 26. Punk Tactics - Joey Valence & Brae 27. Centuries - FoB -oooooh the DJD wants you so bad 28. Little Pistol - Mother Mother -maybe having little change of heart? perhaps getting stuck with the Circle of Light?
FACTIONLESS ON EARTH/WRECKERS TIME 29. Liquid Smooth - Mitski 30. Hungover in the City of Dust - Autoheart 31. Clean - Woolbright 32. Impostor Syndrome - Sidney Gish -I really like the idea he learned a lot abt human culture and racing etc. on Earth. It was probably lonely, but he got a fresh start. 33. Being so Normal - Peach Pit -Still, it must be hard being so far removed from the settings you've known all your life 34. Daniel In The Den - Bastille -maybe both sides are flawed and people are complicated 35. The Distance - Cake -specifically about his drag racing days, ik it’s a little out of place, but it fits well w the songs after DRIFT DEFECTS/AUTOBOT DRIFT/MTMTE 36. Crusader - Stevie Howie -mmmm yes some good rock 37. Diary of Jane - Breaking Benjamin 38. This Is Why We Fight - The Decemberists 39. Allies or Enemies - The Crane Wives -certainly, he has some conflicting feelings about his new “allies” DRATCHET MTMTE 40. Oxford Blood - Autoheart -ESPECIALLY early Dratchet where they weren't quite together, but they were close pre-EOS 41. Body Terror Song - AJJ -look, ik Drift takes care of himself Now, but he certainly didn't always and I'm sure there was some lasting damage -I also like to hc he kept his 'con claws as a reminder of who he was before. I was so discontent to wear that heavy load” -”I wanna love somebody, but I don’t know how” 46. Losing my Religion - REM -oh Boy. Self explainatory. 47. Drop the Guillotine - Peach Pit -thinkin' about how Rodimus sold him out as a scapegoat. Was being captain that important? 48. Working for the Knife - Mitski 49. Medical play
Masterlist
Featuring TF: Earth Wars Game! Barricade, smut/humor, CW: reader putting a hand over the mech, dubious consent (both are drunk every time they get nasty), licking, implied oral, implied fingering and penetration, implied blowjob, messy make-out, Barricade is a menace and an afthole, the reader has a thing for praxian frames (who doesn't?)
There is just so much you can go around from one medical habsuit to the next, Ratchet and First were very serious on the topic of not exhausting yourself, a pair of complete hypocrisy as both are out cold after dual missions, you don't have more hands to help as Minerva is still recharging after a 39hrs shift, Knock Out and Wreck-gar are still out in the field, the first most likely requesting to come back already not due to worrying over you but his paint.
So there's only you when the Decepticons group comes back from a fight with whatever is coming from Cybertron, the big door opens and they see you, alone, they can't even get angry anymore as they practically toss some of their mechs on the floor, someone's arm strut almost crushes you and makes you scream, Tantrum has no much to say but “all yours, squishy doctor” as you get near to notice the two mechs tossed at you are Barricade and Waspinator; Astrotrain, bless his spark, stays longer than the rest of them, looking at you as Waspinator starts to cry out in distress, Barricade may still be rebooting due to his silence, he gives you an uncertain glance before asking “need a servo, doc?”
There is no more energy as the cries intensify, he is cringing internally from it, you can notice, especially when Barricade’s system crashes and he wakes up in intervals, shouting obscenities, “I would love some help, Astro”.
Being a doctor in the base has its pros, more than one Decepticon is indebted to you, and while not all are as nice or bearable as Astrotrain, well, you manage, the number of attempted murders against you has dropped significantly, that's progress, a constant mantra repeating in your head when Astro goes back to his barracks once both Decepticons are tossed on the medical berths, he looks at you, waiting, and you let him go as this is routine.
Monotonous, boring routine, almost every soldier and high command has already passed on your hands from a devastating blow through their spark chamber or a detailing session to calibrate sensors right and get the dirt out, you've seen it all, you've lived it all, at least for a human, Drift said you're an old soul and Ratchet told him to shut up.
Perhaps you are an old one inside, as you collect patience to shove energon candy to Wasp’s mandibles, letting him be concerned over his goodies and not his arm strut going back to where it belongs, his antenna does pick up in what you're doing when you're done, “Waspinator did well?” your tired smile speaks volumes, “You did great buddy”.
Takes time and a lot of effort to catch on to what makes them let you work, Waspinator tends to forget about the world with energon candy, others when you do part of a psychiatrist and listen to their ranting, some good tea, extra spicy in some occasions, some want you to be a “service drone” by just doing the work done, for those your hands and treatment get a little rougher.
You're proud to say that fewer Decepticons turn away from the med bay when you're in charge or alone.
Now, Wasp is entering the cryostasis pod for a recovery nap, that lets you with-
“You spawn of a glitch!”
Barricade, whose mind seems to still be in the war zone, his struts are a mess, has blaster openings on more than one side and one optic isn't working. Given that he isn't in a worse state then maybe Hook went with them on this occasion.
Still, all his wires are an utter mess.
“What-?, takes a moment for him to run right, but once he does you are very close to overriding his system manually, “Oh, oh, nice day, doc”.
Your teeth are going to turn out into powder by how hard you're grinding them, “good afternoon, Barricade”.
This is the reason why you sent Astrotrain away and put Waspinator into the cryo pod, your reputation among the Decepticons has improved so well, that you feel proud about it and almost jumped on your feet when Megatron called you “beneficial flesh bag”.
You will not lose that.
Barricade chuckles, helm pressing to the medical berth, looking at you like he wants to take a bite, “Come on, told you to call me Barry ages ago”, his only good servo tries to touch under your lab coat, you try to keep it civil, but he is doing it so hard, pushing his digit away only has him scowling “thought I already fragged your stupid uprightness away last night cycle”.
That, you're trying to forget about that as your fingers start to move away the plating which is poorly mangled, and his panels are an utter eyesore, but at least his internals aren't damaged, you can do this fast and spare yourself the mortification of hearing him talk about the most recent drunken misstep, the many, embarrassing many drunken missteps, “Barricade, I’m a medical official, you're an enforcer, we must keep it professional”.
With an air of anticipation, he clicks his glossa, just as you had predicted, “Professional this, professional that, that’s all you talk about”, he has an arm twisted abnormally backward, wires and lines messed up, but all that doesn't stop him from trying to get into your pants while sober, “what happened to the doctor that reached a fleshy servo inside my valve to check, uh? Or the doctor who tested my transfluid and gave me the all-good?”
Memories flush as fast as the rush of your blood coursing through every vein and artery, there is never quite enough to make a full picture and you swear that there is not even an ounce of resolve that wants to remember as you put his plating out of the way, trying to concentrate on the task and welding machine at hand, but it's so hard when he is looking at you like that and doing obnoxious, heavy ventilations laced with groans and the occasional moan when you drag away plating with force, “just like that, doc, you know how I like it”.
Who could've known that he had this kind of interest, yet again, Runamuck said something along the lines of you being the primary reason for his curious awakening in new interfacing techniques, and even giving you the hint that maybe you two should make it official to this point, you don't have a friend to care about to give the news so what are you waiting for? He says it with sincerity, unbecoming from a Decepticon, still with the usual bite most of them have.
Most people tend to their friends or interests, leaving lonely you at a corner of the bar full of people and cybertronians, never having the time to make some bonding, friendship, or fraternity, glancing respectfully at a pretty praxian that seems to be the focus of many as he talks, surrounded by his friends. Drinking to have the courage to go there and talk with him isn't the answer, that much has been proved over and over, as your feet wobble and your brain is soon to fall asleep from the intoxication.
The first time it happened, it was a mistake. You were drunk, just holding onto the first servo you could find, searching for that telling chevron as you looked up, and in the way his door wings perked up by the contact, he was just as drunk as you, overcharged, but still had the decorum to get you into his habsuit before punching the close buttons in haste. You aren't proud of yourself, much less when his red optics look at your hand pressing over his chest plate, urging him to the berth, following your command not by force or by his weakened state, he wants to and even has the vulgarity to put his servos under his helm, expecting you to do whatever you desire and go along with him, like you were some service drone ready to do the job.
Barricade found himself unprepared for the sudden pressure of your fingers over usually unused buttons and crevices of his chest, you had the medical knowledge to override his self-protection protocol. Exposing his spark, shining hard, light flowing into your face, so pretty, so enticing, a literal star in front of you.
It's hard to believe you forced him to do anything, but yet again, the bastard remembers that night with a dreamlike smile.
It would be foolish to just let it be, but you also felt stupid waking up the morning after, your radio almost blowing up with 39 messages from First Aid, resuming them in “your shift started 6 hours ago, I’ve distracted Ratchet from noticing but now Ratbat is whining to be treated by your hands only, where the frag are you?” as your face, middle and lower body have the sticky feeling of semi-dried transfluid, your partner of the previous night recharging soundly by your side.
Only one look at him and you were running from that habsuit like it was a contamination chamber, no matter how many times you ran, you still, somehow, ended up on his habsuit, on repeated occasions, always brought by bad decisions, alcohol and high-grade, mixed with xenophilia, Barricade kicked out his habsuit partner without any decorum, both in a frenzied and drunken mist to even care when Runamuck tells him “hey, I'm happy you finally stopped to be an annoyance in the highway, but could you frag the flesh bag somewhere else?!”, still, you both know he won't say a word, just allowing him to go make a ruckus in the nearest street, leaving you both to your own and trying to feign ignorance when he wants to put an audio receptor in the door when you moan, leaving anyway when things seem to be too gross for him, more times than not that's when Barricade shoves his glossa inside your mouth, almost getting off by the way you try to suck it, earning a wicked groan as his servos grip too hard over your chest and ass, leaving pretty marks here and there.
Both of you don't care, hardly keeping at bay where hands or servos reached before you put him over the berth with a firm tone, urging him to show you his spark chamber for a quick examination, feeling a hot, fluid rush from head to toe when he does as requested, waiting for you to take place over his abdominal armor, fingers creeping over his array, opening it manually, the smell of ozone heavy in the dark habsuit, your hands hold your weight, telling him to show the resilience of his hips if he could haul your insignificant body in constant pumping so you could measure the electrical flow of his stabilizers.
Oh, and he showed off so well last night.
“Bet you wanted to treat another praxian”, at that side remark he can only yelp when you tug way too hard on his line, Barricade is soon to shout at you, stopping, realizing you have detangled the mess the others made on the war zone with a single pull in a movement, no leaking, no lasting pain, but a scorching, painful pressure over his interface panel when he compares this fed up and angry you to the one liking over his sensors and modules while calling him a “good patient”.
His optics and biolights flare, a telltale you've reluctantly become familiar with.
“Is that everything, Barricade?”, you're frustrated with his nonsense, trying to get him away as soon as possible when you catch on his ventilation fans overworking, he smells like ozone.
“Now that you are asking-”
“Fleshy doc!”
He gets away from you with outstanding force and speed, another batch of Decepticons is at the hangar door, knocking first, it gives you another source of happiness and pride as Gnaw does it in place of just barging right in, finally some improvement, enough time for you to catch on your canned shower and aromatherapy spray, using great amount over your body and Barricade, who isn't pleased in the slightest to smell like lemon and vanilla, again, "yeah, come in!"
You try your best to disregard his disapproving look, realizing that what you said didn't come out the way you wanted it to given the circumstances.
.
I love Bayverse Barricade but I love this interpretation of him a little more, very handsome, even when he doesn't look that much like the original, and very obsessed with the game once again, but in the variety is the pleasure.

*Crashing noise* *Glass shatters* *Rolls into ask box* A TF WRITER WITH OPEN REQUESTS? IN THIS ECONOMY? Ahem. Can I get hc's for how tfp team prime would react to human reader who can shapeshift into like a dragon (let's say like a light or night fury from httyd as kinda reference) and has secretly been sneaking away from the base at night to go destroy decepticon bases/get into minor scuffles.
Like reader wants to help the team, has feelings for a bot, but hides their abilities out of fear what they'd all think, and also has kept their feelings a secret. They feel like the team kinda dislikes the humans, so they try to help in secret this way, until their random small injuries and constant sleepiness give them away to everyone (Also I have a fem reader in mind but if you prefer gn that's fine too! Sorry if this is too much specifics lol but i like to give details to be helpful :> )
TFP!Autobots x Dragon!Human!Reader
Note: Bumblebee x reader-ish
You are a mighty beast, you've lived for eons, seen kingdoms rise and fall. Now you've even seen other life not from your planet.
You take the appearance of human girl, one you knew once long ago. You even came to love the human girl but, she is long gone.
The robotic lifeforms notice you when you stand and watch them fight each other, you were intrigued by their weapons.it seemed like Dragon fire but more handable.
Soon, the Autobots took you in, the leader even made you want to fight for their side of their war. However, you couldn't help but notice the subtle way some of the robots would act around you and the others.
It made you angry to feel like you were underestimated.
Optimus prime
He knew something was up with you, had Ratchet do a scan on you when he first met you. The scan showed that you were human but some DNA of something was mixed with your own DNA.
When he sees new injuries littering your body with purple and yellow bruises as well as cuts. He immediately knows something is up.
When it comes clean that you've been destroying energon mines that the Decepticons had. It confuses him on how you do it until you reveal yourself.
Your dragon form towers from above his helm.
Everyone is freaked out until he steps in and asks that you don't put yourself in harm's way for the sake of his people and that he is proud of you for trying
Bumblebee
Is the one thats most freaked out but also so blown away. When you first 'transform', he wasn't expecting a scaly beast that towers over Optimus prime.
You did tell him your secret before, you trust him and he trust you. He'd just never imagined to see your other form. How your scales seem to reflect light, how mighty you looked and how beautiful you were.
Bulkhead
He won't admit it but he screamed a little since he was not expecting this on a Saturday night after you came back with more injuries.
He was concerned about you but now knew you could take care of yourself. You kinda scared him with those jagged teeth and spiked tail.
He loved you though, as a friend but respectfully you scared him
Arcee
Was ready to shoot you, she already went through the five stages of grief in a nanosecond as she aimed. Luckily the team took notice and stopped her before she could shoot.
She apologies for it but demands answers why you kept this form secret and that you cannot go hitting Decepticon bases all alone.
She scowled you like a mother
Ratchet
He knew you were different because of the scans, he just never thought this was it. That you were some so called mythic dragon from human stories.
He wants to laugh at but all that you see is him looking dead inside.
Accepts your form quite quickly, look he's seen things and will continue seeing weird things. This was quite tame

Ahhhhhhhhh! The TF mecha Deadlock and human Ratchet drawing! I just saw it before sending this. His squishy! But yeeee! Continuing from the last one I wrote. Just pulled ideas from other posts you and others have done in this TF mecha universe. This is fun! :P
****
Ratchet's living quarters is much like the hanger where his lab is. An open area with some dividers up to make separate rooms. Scaffolding and catwalks line the wall and stairs are at each corner of the hanger. The interior is smaller when compared to the lab but the ceiling is much taller, allowing Deadlock the ability to sit up right comfortably. It looks like a little maze to Deadlock who can look down from above. Out of the five rooms in this hanger turned living quarters, Deadlock can't see into three of them. Ratchet's berthroom, the kitchen, and washrack all have ceilings to them. Ratchet's office is connected to the sitting area. Being the largest area in the hanger Deadlock has taken over the sitting area to recharge and heal in. Being the Chief Engineer no one has questioned Ratchet for having Deadlock in his hanger because Ratchet always takes work home with him. Also don't question Ratchet.
A click from the main entrance door has Deadlock stir from his recharge. Old instincts and habits have made him a light recharger. He opens one optic, a red glow fills the room. Blinding bright and staticky at first but dims and clears as his visual boots up. He see Ratchet opening the tiny entryway to slip out. He rumbles knowing it is way to early for Ratchet to head back to his lab. Ratchet had maybe, at most, gotten two hours of recharge. Deadlock gives a rumble/grunt again, this time it sounds more like a wheeze as he starts to shift to grab his little squishy who has already opened the door and stepped half way out. He is using the door to make himself unsnatchable not without breaking the thin metal.
Number one rule while in Ratchet's domain: Don't break Ratchet's things, he NEEDS them. The objects Ratchet chuck do not/can not hurt him. The disappointment and tired frustration however does hit something deep in his war worn spark. "Power back down kid. Just leaving for an emergency meeting. When I get back I'll check your intakes and engine. It's rattling and straining hard again." Ratchet says in a deep rougher voice used only when he wakes from recharge. The door click behind the human not giving him time to reply in his drowsy state. He rubs his fresh welded wounds and with a unhappy grunt curls loosely back around what Ratchet calls a lazy-e-boy chair and entertainment center.
ALL DAY! All day Ratchet has been gone. Deadlock should be use to Ratchet's long work days. But Ratchet didn't fuel before he left, he hasn't recharged in a long while. Two hours is not a recharge. Not for him, not for Ratchet. He is worried, it oozes out and around him from his EM Field like a shadowy murky cloak. His audial fins are pinned down and back as far as they can go. Ratchet looks so worn down. Overworked and shoulders heavy with responsibly the Cybertonian knows the bioengineer should not have to bare. The tv is on to use as a distraction but it no more then background noise as his proccesor runs through scenarios of what could be keeping Ratchet this time.
The door lock clicks and Deadlock instantly perks up. His EM Field fizzles away from gloomy to a more warm and bright mood. "Ratch-" He stops immediately when Ratchet comes through the door. Deadlock rakes his claws into the concrete floor and his field starts boiling with the energon in his lines. Ratchet is bruised and bleeding. The humans forehelm and knuckes are covered with fresh and dried blood. His glare intensifies as Ratchet closes the door and slumps against it with a grumble. Ratchet grunts as he takes off his shoes and dirty jacket. Deadlock's helm is filled with static and his spark heavy and spinning way to fast. He can taste energon on his glossa thanks to his fangs. Rage is not what is taking over his sensors and proccesor. Something more like a deeply rooted need, something instinctually feral burns hot in his frame. "WHO'D DARE-" Ratchet holds up a hand and makes a hushing noise, Deadlock snarls engine rattling harder to keep up with his burst of energy and restrained energon lust. His limbs shaking with just as much restraint. The only thing keeping him from ripping the hanger down is Ratchet's hunched form at the entry way. When Ratchet looks up at Deadlock his jaw snaps shut, denta slamming hard against each other with a harsh clank. The fragger looks amused! Tired, frustrated, and hurting but Deadlock knows that look. Those lips are ever so slightly turned up into an amused smirk, "R a t c h e t." Deadlock hisses out passed his denta audial fins pinned back.
"Relax, before you blow a fuse. You should see the other guy. These are just scratches Drift." The fragger chuckles wiping some blood from his lip with his thumb. That does something to Deadlock that he will not acknowledge right now. His spark flutters and pulses harder, EM Field a confusing mix of emotions that Ratchet can't feel, "I had a disagreement with some of the others in command while another sister base visited. I am fine. Been in more then one scrapping in my time." Ratchet hums as he limps into his office, Deadlock claws at the floor again. "I did not party and study my whole younger life away just to get my PhD in biomedical engineering and be told how to do my job. I may have got a tad heated." He chuckles again at Deadlocks snort/huff.
Deadlock relaxes slightly as Ratchet pulls out a medical kit. His systems are running hot and HUB flashing warnings at him do as Ratchet suggested. He relaxes slightly and presses his servo against his helm. "Frag doc starting fights for a disagreement?" He rasps out watching Ratchet closely while he steadies his intakes. The human carefully works on cleaning the blood stained knuckles, Deadlock takes some pleaser in knowing all that blood is not just Ratchet's. "You're just as much of a hot menace as me."
"For you." Ratchet mumbles as he gently rubs ointment on the cuts. "They wanted me to turn you over to the field officer. Told them that you are still a work in progress that needs more time. That you came to my lab mmm.." Ratchet realizes it's the next day, a whole day wasted arguing in a concert room with metal chairs. With stuck up, pathetic excesses for- "Two days ago now.. said I activated some guardian protocal that day by accident which what brought you looking for me. They think you are imprinted on me. Something like that." Ratchet winces as he wraps his most bruised and swollen hand. A whine leaves Deadlock's stuttering engine, the tip of his pointer digit's claw has been hovers over Ratchet's helm as the doc talked, "What is it Drift?" Ratchet pauses from reaching for the alcohol soaked cotten ball. He looking up into overly bright, almost white with worry optics. Ratchet's optics dart around looking over Deadlock's form and healing welds.
Deadlock wants to huff, to roll his optics at the bioengineer's worry for him. But he can't stop his spark and fuel tanks from turning while he watches the red liquid drip down Ratchet's forehelm and optic ridge. "I... can't help you. You are hurt.. cause of me... and I can only watch you patch yourself up." He admits dimming his optics and looking down. All of this because he got impatient and hunted down his squishy to get him to recharge for once.
Ratchet's optics soften slightly. He shuts the kit with a sharp snap and huffs as he straightens from being hunched over. "Hand down please." Deadlock's audial fins perk up at the request. He carefully and gently, as gently as he can, places two digits into the office room. He lifts Ratchet up slowly once the small being had found a good spot to sit on his servo. He doesn't want to risk even the slightest breeze to brush against the bruised and cut flesh. He makes certain his servo is locked so it doesn't twitch on them. "This is high enough. Stay still." Deadlock is about to scold him when he thinks Ratchet is going to check the welds on his chassis. Instead Ratchet pops the kit back open and works on himself. Deadlock's vocal box clicks a few times as he tries to comprehend what his squishy is doing. His spark flutters with his EM Field when he realizes Ratchet is using his metal plating like a mirror. Ratchet dabs the cotton ball on the cut above his left optic ridge. "Didn't feel like going all the way to the bathroom. So thanks kid."
Deadlock purrs and almost melts from the thanks. Yes he will happily be a mirror. "Clever thing to do doc. Have those idiots thinking I am loyal and protective to only you will mean I can follow you around more. I am content being imprinted on you. Just tell them you can't undo it doc and if they touch you ever again I will pluck their little tiny servos off and feed it to them." He rumbles in a flat tone towards the end. He rolls his optics at the small ping from Ratchet flicking his chassis, "You may start a fight doc but know I will finish it."
"Didn't really start it either kid." Ratchet sighs looking at his reflection with a solemn expression before going back to dabbing the cotten ball harder against the cut, "Wasn't just about you Drift. They wanted.... they want..." Deadlock wants to curl around Ratchet the tone he is using now sounds like defeat, that's not his Ratchet. Deadlock lifts his free servo and retracts a claw so he can rub Ratchet's back as best he can to comfort him. "I can't." Ratchet rasps placing his forehelm against Deadlock chassis. Deadlock's engine settles to a purr Cybertonians use to sooth each other. It seems to work. Ratchet's shoulders relax and he seems to be getting his thoughts together. Deadlock stays silent and even if he doesn't need to keeps his EM Field in check. He only giving off support, warmth and calm, "It's inhumane, evil... Tourture... It would break down to much of the muscles and cells of the body. The hippocampus, the cerebral cortex, and the frontal lobe... that much damage to the brain would... I can't do what they want me to. Not to anyone Drift. Not what they ask. I can't. To adults, to teenagers, To Children. Young kids not knowing what they have signed up for. Never told. No choice. No way in hell could I ever-"
The strain and deep pain in Ratchet's voice is killing Deadlock. Deadlock can feel the trembling coming from Ratchet as the human catches his breath. He keeps a steady presser against Ratchet's back for support as he moves him up. He ignores the small gasp from Ratchet when he presses Ratchet to his cheek gently. Warm smooth metal touched warm soft skin, "Never. Never will you do what anyone demands of you. They can not make you harm anyone. You have never done anything you didn't want to and you won't start now. You are to much for them to try to control. My little squishy scraplet. I will kill them if they try. You have my glyphic, honor, and spark on this." Deadlock pulls back feeling something wet on his faceplate. Before Deadlock can get a good look at Ratchet's face, the bioengineer is shakily wiping his optics in a rushed motion aggravating the wound on his forehelm making it bead up with fresh blood, "Woah easy doc!" Ratchet bats his digit away when he tries to stop him.
"Stupidly cocky little shit! Lets get you feeling better before you try taking on a whole mecha filled base for me!" Ratchet laughs and smacks the digit still pressed against his back. That laugh does something to Deadlock's systems and spark, "We'll need to discuss a plan. I don't ever do anything half ass. I will not go into anything blind. But you are right, this is not the place for me to be anymore. Sad really. I was doing a lot of good here, made things safer for our pilots. Slowly sure but less were dying... so horridly all the time." Ratchet mumbles the last bit under his breath before shaking his helm. Deadlock likes the smirk that comes back to Ratchet's lips, "Now lay down so I can check that engine. You are starting to sound like a shitty abandoned junker car. Think you knock something out of place."
Deadlock matches Ratchet's smirk with a slag eating grin as he lifts the human a tad higher to press his forehelm against Ratchet's. He feels Ratchet pulls back after a moment, a stuttering raspy purr rumbles pleasantly through him when Ratchet places his servo against his forehelm and rubs. Yeah he does sound like slag and his HUB is flashing warnings, "What ever you say Doc. I am your guardian knight after all. You just tell me when to start swinging." He hums as he shifts to lay down.
Y O U. YOU JUST WROTE THIS ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE OF A FIC??? AND I DONT EVEN KNOW YOUR NAME?? WHOEVER YOU ARE, ANON, I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NGKGKFGBFHGH YOUR WRITING DOES THINGS TO MY BRAI N

Also. Al s o. I just realized. Oh my god.
We have two Cybertronians on Earth at the moment right. Prowl and Deadlock. But Prowl is very much restricted in his actions because he has strong moral codex and also he's not a very good fighter (at least on his own).
But then we also have Deadlock. And the only thing keeping Deadlock in check is. Ratchet.
Like. Oh fuck just imagine. He isn't restricted by any moral implications except Ratchets opinion. He doesn't really give a fuck about other organic life or laws of Earth or anything. He is also a really fucking good fighter. He doesn't commit murder because that would disappoint Ratchet, but if. IF. Something happens to Ratchet?
THE HELL he would unleash would be visible from outer space.
Him being so sweet and caring and protective over Ratchet doesn't mean he behaves like this with everyone. Him being protective over Ratchet means that if anything takes Ratchet from him, he'll drown himself in blood. He'll burn, claw, gnaw, punch and tear his way back to his human.
All so he can be nice and sweet and caring again right afterward:)

Human, in the snow with Drift: “It’s kinda cold.”
Drift, picks them up and places them near his spark. “Here, I’ll help keep you warm.”
Meanwhile, another human, in the snow with Ratchet, watching Drift and the other liaison: “Well, I’m cold too.”
Ratchet: “Well frag, human, I can’t control the weather.”
Ratchet, begrudgingly picking them up and placing them by his spark, complaining the whole time and making sure they’re better prepared the next time

drawing human versions of non-human characters has never been my thing but with tf i find it fun to explore holoforms
some of these headshots are quite old and from different artworks which is why the styles/quality varies but i liked them enough to include them in the collage (i was also too lazy to redraw them)
notes about some of the designs under the cut if ur curious:
-rodimus is explicitly inspired by 80s glam rock. i took quite a bit of inspiration from david bowie, prince, and a little bit of ruby rhod from 5th element.
-im mexican. i wanted starscream to look like an evil stepmother straight out of a telenovela. i think the vibe fits her
-ratchets design keeps eluding me and im still not satisfied with it, but its important to me that he is always a fat hairy bear.
-i didnt like jlaw's art of human roller being generic skinny-buff. i made this one out of spite.
-though its only a headshot for now, arcee's design is also a bit 80s-90s inspired. she has fingerwaves, which i hope comes across in the art
-i ran out of time (patience), but minimus' outfit is supposed to be old west inspired. i'll make a better version of it another time
#transformers#humanformers#rodimus#starscream#ratchet#minimus ambus#drift#elita-1#and others im not gonna tag sorry#ive been working on holoforms for a long time but a lot of them not even pictured here are gnc and i didnt want ppl tagging them as#genderbend or something. my hf is very precious to me 4 reasons idk how to even explain#*hf art#im very tired#ant art

you absolutely dont have to because you have A Lot of bots on your radar already; BUT... could we maybe get some tfa bulkhead crumbs?? if youre up for it? literally anything, hes so tooth achingly sweet and all around wonderful and lovely. him and tfa bee were my first favorites/introduction to transformers years ago when the show first aired and i started watching tfa again this year and its easily been one of the best choices ive made this year ghsjdkmgds-
I need to rewatch some of the older TF shows. It’s been forever since I watched TFA

Time Turned Fragile
TFA Bulkhead x Reader
• “Hi.” Lifting a hand in greeting and then immediately lifting the other, palm out as the human at the door to the derelict building freezes, eyes widening. “No, wait. Don’t scream. Please. That’s my ad.” Pointing at the scrap of paper in your hands. And you look down at it and back up at him. Still just staring at him, mouth open. Not screaming yet, though. That’s promising. “You’re here for the job, right?”
• Just run. Just go and pretend this never happened. You want to so badly as you stare up at the green behemoth. Because no amount of money is worth whatever this nonsense is. “I don’t know how to take care of one of you,” you manage, voice wobbling slightly on the verge of hysteria. Crushing the ad in your hands a bit as you retreat a step. It had said ‘caretaker needed for young child.’ And the doodles on it were what had drawn your eye. Cute little crayon scribbles that you’d assumed had been done by the kid in question.
• “No. No, Sari’s human not a sparkling.” Primus, you’re small. Bigger than Sari, but still so little compared to them. You look like you’d break if he touched you. Carefully going down on a knee so he’s not looming as much, because short of lying on the ground, he’s still looming, he tries to think of the words that will make you stay. “We’re taking care of her, but the whole human food thing? We, I, need help. Please?”
• They have a human kid here? Whatever the jolly green giant is, he’d said we. Like there’s more of them. With a kid. Had they kidnapped them? Are they in danger? You can’t run now, no matter how much you want to. Not until you grab the kid, then you can book it. “Show me.” Forcing a strained smile as the giant stands and you shiver at how big he is.
• “Yeah? I’m mean, okay. Sure,” he says, grinning. Because despite their best efforts, he’s not sure how good a job they’re doing caring for Sari. Mostly because they’re taking her advice about it, and they just don’t know. Ratchet had already expressed doubts about her insistence that candy is a perfectly healthy breakfast, suspecting that might not be exactly true. Gesturing for you to come in, he lurches back and out of the way, trying not to crowd you. Aware of the tense set to your shoulders as you step inside and look around. Knows the place is a bit spare, but they’d tried their best to make it inviting and comfortable. But under your scrutiny, he’s almost certain you find it lacking.
