psst given One arcee's cheek guards and conspicuously being near Sideswipe in the film etc. thought it would be cute to see a TF One stylization of Aileron. If you're looking for a reference Gauntlet Female Jet or Race Car (these are the concept art names) generics seen in different color schemes in the film and in the transformers one concept art aren't that far off in terms of body shape (also no worries if this is too out there for just a request we'd happily comm this when we can afford to)

I'm continuing that She-Ra Transformers crossover by imagining which Autobots would be good duos with the other Princesses of Power. Here's who I got!

First one is Perfuma, for her I have to go with Drift. Given how important his spiritual side is to his stories, I think they would love each other's company. Like, just imagine Drift and Perfuma calmly meditating together in Plumeria, it be so sweet!

Next is Entrapta, and for her I have to go with Wheeljack. We need our resident mad scientist to meet. Imagine all the cooky and dangerous experiments they would cook up. Also, I don't think anyone would freak out over the Autobots more than Entrapta.

Mermista was difficult to figure out actually, and because of that I ended up with two choices for her. First is Jazz, given her "Pretends to be annoyed at everything, but actually cares a lot" personality, I feel like Jazz' easygoing personality with gel really well with her.

And the second one is Blaster. It's another one where I think they would gel with each other really well. Despite Blaster's loud personality annoying Mermista, I can see them bonding over a love for rock and roll, and he would definitely transmit a ton of serial mystery radio shows for her.

Frosta, an easy one: Whirl. Now "Why Whirl?" you ask. Simple, so everyone in the crossover to ask who thought it was a good idea to let Frosta and Whirl near each other. Imagine the chaos both would wrought.

P.S - I haven't figured out a duo for Spinerella and Netossa. At first I thought of Arcee and Aileron because I do think Arcee and Netossa would be a really cool team, but I haven't got to the part of the IDW comics where Aileron is introduced so I don't know how her personality would mesh with the group.

can't top coat arcee yet so will show alt mode later, but really had fun painting this arcee and sculpting the torso when we could, in the latter regard she will probably be one of a kind (green stuff was a lot of work) but in the former the reaper mini paints seem to be the right choice for replication, very proud of her. 💜 🏳️‍⚧️

For those curious, this short story is both standalone and a postcanon teaser for the later portion of our idw1 fanfiction novel, Addendum (linked as the bext work in the Addendum Nexuses series) that builds on what turned out to be her beautiful and unique story and journey in canon, filling in for time periods (and our own take on the vastness of cybertronian contexts of gender variation and expansiveness that is in the spirit of transformation inherent to transformers) the comic did not get to address and seeks to make some additional arcs on closure therein in the finale. The short story is also something much lighter and more peaceful than a chapter we had struggled to write for a while, the next installment is in the works and will certainly release in the next few months (finishing our One fanfiction first to release a surprise that wouldn't be possible without having worked on that novel an a completed earthspark fanfiction). For people who want to read about our perspective on idw1 arcee canon specifically including comparison with real trans history of trans people surviving transmedicalism and elucidating that gender expansive understandings and pre-20th centurh terms used by gender expansive people themselves (some still in use today) are in fact a very old part of gender history, you can read our essay at our website (reads better on a computer than mobile rn).
