I LOVE IT

It keeps with the theme of Cybertronians being alien, and yet it gives them connection in a meaningful way that mirrors a human familial bond. And the idea of a clan as a sort of family unit instead of anything else. It's perfect for such a species, and I think it adds depth to Cybertronians as a whole. Bound in brotherhood that far exceeds the bounds of war. Tied together in mentorship and study even in the most brutal of eras.

It is such a small detail, but one that makes me smile. Especially seeing it from Arcee. Her and Ultra Magnus having had such a bond is the cherry on top.

Has anyone else started a massive transformers brainrott? just me?

Well I'm gonna start posting about it sooner than later so yes. And for the record everything that I will post will probably be from the comics or the TFP (transformers prime) serie because I'm not really a fan myself of the bayverse movies.

Reading Transformers (Skybound) issue 16 and I'm already missing Jason Howard's art. He's only drawn two issues (13 and 14) but there was something about his style that I enjoyed.

Nothing wrong with Jorge Corona at all! He carries the majority of this series so far with most issues drawn (eight so far) and his issues surely haven't been bad. He can crank out some great-looking scenes and plenty of well-drawn characters:

But he can also make them look so darn ugly at times xD

Even though seeing these kinds of shots while reading takes me out of "the zone" for a moment, I appreciate that they are part of Corona's style. They have their charm, for sure.

I just would have liked to see more of Howard's art in these issues.
