i consider traditional art to be much harder than digital (not to mention more expensive) but onw thing im jealous of is the possibility of effortlessly creating texture

#and yes obviously to create unique textures you also need skill etc etc #what i mean is that you get the texture of paint or markers or crayon or pencils by simply using the medium #in fact you need to put more effort into NOT having these textures #plus the texture of paper or canvas or whatever other surface you have #and generally traidional just gives you more freedom #put glitter or stickers on your shit #draw on a stone near a beautiful lake #etc

Man I used to wonder how on earth people were using their Wacom tablet nibs such that they needed replacement. I've had two tablets where I put MILES on those nibs and they're as good as new

I just acquired a new little tablet pad just for teaching remotely and this nib must be made of chalk wtf. I've had it for less than a month and it's noticeably worn down??

#the tablet surface is also a little more textured so it could be a “both sides” issue #but what the fuuuuck #literally never replaced a tablet nib before in my years of tableting
