Buying a themed Airbnb: I'm really surprised that the HOA would allow this home to be a short term rental, usually they frown on that. It's a 2006 home in a development in Kissimmee, FL. 5bds, 5ba, 2,494 sq ft, $829k + $450mo. HOA, and it comes furnished, ready to rent out with new linens, towels, and a fully stocked cupboard.
Unless, of course, when you see it, you'd want to live in it yourself.
Whaddaya think? Especially, if you have kids, they're gonna want to live here.
I like the walls, but I'm not feelin' the furniture.
Unless, of course, a new buyer comes in and paints over everything.
The primary bedroom. The furniture has protective glass tops, too.
Then, this is the en-suite. I don't care for these colors.
The Buzz Lightyear suite.
The Frozen suite.
I never realized that Disney used this much blue in their art.
I don't know, I feel like there are some cute things in the house, but it's missing the wow factor.
There's a pool, but apparently, guests can also use the communal amenities, which include an Arcade, Surround Sound Movie Theater, Fitness Center and lagoon-style pool with two water slides and splash "play area," plus lighted Basketball, Volleyball, and Tennis Courts.

It was reported at one point that Charles did offer Harry and Meghan a house in Wales I believe? It was was supposed to be like a country escape for them for that privacy they're always screaming about. So Charles did try to set them up the way the late queen set her children up with homes. I guess the posh set wasn't hanging around there and it was more difficult to set up pap walks out there or something Harry and Meghan weren't interested.
According to the web, Charles offered Harry and Meghan a farm in Gloucestershire as a wedding gift. The farm is part of the Highgrove Estate, which is the King's private residence. The farm is said to have stables, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. However, Harry and Meghan declined the offer and moved to Frogmore Cottage.
Yep, all true. The offers were rejected for three reasons.
1. Meghan wanted to be able to mingle with celebs. No one was going to trek out to Wales or Gloucester to see her. That’s why they spent Summer 2018 at the Cotswold rental near SoHo Farmhouse - so they could have access to everyone visiting SoHo Farmhouse and the Beckhams were nearby too.
2. Meghan hates nature and the country. She is city through and through, and like Diana, tolerated country long enough to get the family’s and friends’ approval. Unlike Diana, Meghan didn’t understand that she needed to keep up appearances to play the long game.
3. They didn’t want a house from Charles. They wanted exactly the same thing William and Kate received, a house personally gifted to them from The Queen on The Queen’s private estate. Or, if they couldn’t get equal to William and Kate, they wanted better — an actual castle or palace. So they made a bid for Windsor Castle and got offered the graveyard instead.
(That Meghan wanted a castle/palace was confirmed in 2022 by Katie Nicholl in her book. Katie is a problematic reporter - she coined “Waity Katie” and also led the charge against Kate but refuses to take accountability for anything she did/said - but she does have impeccable sources, including one of the Queen’s cousins, who gave her the info about Meghan’s Windsor ambitions.)

Little Freak
Did you dress up for Halloween? Little Freak is a sweet song, Harry is thinking about an ex and looking at the relationship with distance. It has many references to Taylor. It was written when he was in Tokyo Oct-Dec 2018. Taylor had her last Reputation concert 21 November, 2018 in Tokyo.
youtube
Little Freak was written on bad rental gear, he said it went through 19 versions before finally being on Harry's House. Ophelia is possibly written at the same time, it references Tokyo. TBSL is similar, references Taylor in a similar way, but Harry said it was written in Bath later.
To Howard Stern, Harry said if a song didn't make a previous album why would it make this one, however noted 2 songs on Harry's House are older, but they fit sonically on the album. There is another great post here.
Lyrics
Little freak, Jezebel You sit high atop the kitchen counter Stay green a little while You bring blue lights to dreams
Jezabel is possibly a reference to 'Slut!' Taylor also references this line in the opening of the Bejewelled MV "the prince would not have anything to do with that Harlot again."
Harry references kitchens in Haylor songs Sunflower Vol 6 (kiss in the kitchen), Two Ghosts (fridge light washes the room white), here it is a device to remember a calm intimacy with his muse
A Blue film is an adult film, the last line is a wet dream.
Starry haze, crystal ball Somehow, you've become some paranoia A wet dream just dangling But your gift is wasted on me
The starry haze, crystal ball is a reference to the Ready for it...? MV. Which is about Harry, he also referenced it in To be so Lonely. Ready for it also references a sexual dream "In the middle of the night, in my dreams (eh) / You should see the things we do (we do), baby" It was an impressive tour open too.
The paranoia refers to the complicated nature of their relationship (Fine Line, DBATC) he is asked about her a lot and while their songs imply they interact, they are almost never seen together so they may work hard at that.
The wet dream, just dangling, to me means unfinished business with her that he doesn't know how to resolve.
He feels her musical gifts are wasted on him, (they aren't Harry, you're the best muse)
This producer video comments on the use of a Linn drum machine as something Jack Antonoff uses on Taylor Swifts songs. (26:30)
I was thinkin' about who you are Your delicate point of view, I Was thinkin' about you I'm not worried about where you are Or who you will go home to, I'm Just thinkin' about you
This verse refers to another Haylor Reputation song, Delicate, which also tells of sexual tension. However, here Harry uses the song title to flatter her and adds that he is not feeling possessive, just thinking of her.
Did you dress up for Halloween? I spilt beer on your friend, I'm not sorry A golf swing and a trampoline Maybe we'll do this again
This verse refers to Taylor and has links back to their time dating.
Taylor does dress up for halloween, like this 2014 1989-era Pegacorn. Harry and Taylor were also both in Tokyo a few weeks after Halloween
The spilt beer is often thought to be this photo of him with Karlie Kloss on a fashion persons yacht. It looks like water in front of him but I like to imagine this is it.
Blank Space MV Taylor took a golf club to a classic luxury car. Harry has many nice classic cars. In the Red era when they first dated Taylor had a trampoline on her tennis court and it also featured in the 22 MV.
in the close he asks maybe we'll do this again, I interpret that as maybe be together again one day. Olivia, WITW and Someday maybe have similar messages.
Tracksuit and a ponytail You hide the body all that yoga gave you Red wine and a ginger ale But you would make fun of me, for sure
Above I have a grab from Miss American, which was filmed during the Rep tour, in most of the back stage, home or recording scenes she is wearing a variation on a tracksuit and ponytail.
Red wine and ginger ale mixed is a seltzer type drink, here it is an 'easter egg' as there are red wine references in a lot of Haylor songs: DBATC (My time, my wine..), Clean (You're still all over me like a wine-stained dress I can't wear anymore), Maroon (The burgundy on my T-shirt when you splashed your wine into me), Olivia (This isn't the stain of a red wine, I'm bleeding love) and Grapejuice ("Give me something old and red")
I disrespected you Jumped in feet first, and I landed too hard A broken ankle, karma rules You never saw my birthmark
In the last verse Harry has started reflecting on how things ended, he acknowledges he disrespected Taylor. This may refer to the time in Now that we don't talk.
Harry broke his foot playing football while on tour in Ireland in October 2015, this is close to the time period in NTWDT, Harry includes a reference to Karma, Taylors maybe album, evential song from that time period.
Harry has a birthmark on his back so many think this means he has and will never turn his back on her. (I have seen another fandom say this means they were not intimate, dude- strangers on the internet can link to it)
to me the birthmark is not literal, I think she never saw his full self because of his age & the band. He spoke to both Howard Stern and Zane Lowe about all of his adult decisions being made as part of a group from 16-20. It was in a context of leaving One Direction. To me this emotional coasting (he says he was 'away' in TBSL) was a factor in the events of NTWDT and Is it over now?
But both of these are true, he won’t turn his back on her and he wasn’t his full self then.

North Saskatchewan River, Edmonton (No. 3)
The North Saskatchewan River Valley park system, including its associated ravines, holds over 30 urban parks forming a part of the larger park system. Collectively, these parks form the largest municipally-operated urban park and the largest contiguous area of urban parkland in the country. The park system encompasses over 7,300 hectares (18,000 acres) of land.
Several municipal parks and Strathcona Science Provincial Park form the North Saskatchewan River valley parks system.
Among the various municipally-maintained parks in Edmonton, the ones located in the river valley hold the highest availability of washrooms and picnic sites. The majority of the parks in the river valley have trails that connect to other areas of the park system. The river valley also holds a number of recreational facilities including baseball fields, dog parks, playgrounds, slipways, sports fields, and tennis courts. Although there exists a concentration of recreational facilities in the river system, service facilities including equipment rentals and food and beverage facilities remain scarce in the river valley.
As of 2007, it was estimated that 10 million guests visit the river valley annually, making it the second most visited site in Alberta after the West Edmonton Mall. However, concerns were raised that higher visitation rates to the river valley, along with the continued urban developments within it, may cause disruption of local wildlife, and threaten the long-term health of the river valley.

It's Christmas at the Sussexes'!
"Ethically culled chicken from the family coop with extra helpings of re-heated misery - and a blood diamond bracelet wrapped under the tree: It's Christmas at the Sussexes'"
By Kennedy for Dailymail.Com 25 Dec 2023
As North Polian gusts slip and sigh their way to Montecito, little Archie and Lilibet's sustainable stockings are bursting at their hempen seams.
The Duchess wakes later than usual - no early morning emails to staff today (it's their holiday too, she says empathetically).
A quick final check of the mailbox confirms a festive sadness: cards from Jay Z, Bey, the Beckhams and miscellaneous family members have indeed been lost in transit.
The table is laid by Harry - weary from the hard past year he's had, notably publishing his ghost-written memoir in January.
Turkey's out - instead it's ethically culled chicken from the couple's garden coop.
Place mats are replaced with excess copies of Meghan's best-selling picture book The Bench. (#Recycling hack!!)
While side dishes of betrayal and woe are re-blended, reheated and served with extra helpings. (Bought from Palestinian-owned stores only).
House rules: Don't mention Spotify, Coronation or car chases.
Auntie Oprah slides into the mix and - despite recent rumors of a cooling in relations - I'm happy to report she isn't seated out in the cold.

Auntie Oprah slides into the mix and - despite recent rumors of a cooling in relations - I'm happy to report she isn't seated out in the cold.
Here's Doria and Tyler Perry, too - rocking up in a Hertz electric-car rental.
And what Royal Californian Christmas would be complete without raucous parlor games?
Enter Omid Scobie, Target's answer to a court jester.
Charades is so stuffy Sandringham, he says. Fantastical fire-side storytelling is much more modern. The more stupendously make-believe the better.
And so Omid knits a yarn so hysterically phoney and bold, the Sussex family clan fashion matching cardigans and beanies.
These prove perfect for a post-lunch walk on the beach, where they launch ships in bottles to those less fortunate across the globe who aren't lucky enough to have Netflix, newspapers, access to the internet or really any way of hearing H&M's grumbles of grievance.
Back home it's time for gifts under the family spruce - felled from a private jet-offsetting forest.
For Harry from Meghan, a tube of Dr Freud's favorite todger tincture and a new necklace (his last one broke - don't ask how!).
For Meghan from Harry, a stunning tennis bracelet of shimmering blood diamonds.
For the children, a tough lesson that good things come to those who wait, marry rich, or star briefly on Deal Or No Deal. (That's something Meghan learnt from Mandela.)
Beware: a grinch! Samantha Markle pulls up in an Uber armed with gift-wrapped court papers addressed to her sister. How cruel to treat a sibling that way, Harry says.
And what Royal Californian Christmas would be complete without raucous parlor games? Enter Omid Scobie (above), Target's answer to a court jester.
Here's Doria and Tyler Perry, too - rocking up in a Hertz electric-car rental.
Now it's time for the King's speech.
But just then, gathered round the 100' flatscreen, Harry reclining in his hand-carved reclaimed-mahogany throne with vegan pudding in hand, the cable goes out. The TV plunges into darkness.
Asked why she was seen with wire cutters by the fuse box, Meghan says recollections may vary.
And so, in lieu of Charles's festive message, they turn to draw up this year's naughty list of people who have wronged the Duke and Duchess of righteous indignation.
Enemy No.1: The Evil Media. (WAAAGH!)
Enemy No.2: The entire British public. (Colonizers!)

In lieu of Charles's festive message, they turn to draw up this year's naughty list of people who have wronged the Duke and Duchess of righteous indignation
Also included: Bill 'f***ing grifters' Simmons and Disney, who continue to refuse to offer Meghan a well-earned lead roll.
Looking ahead to the new year, H&M mentally prepare for another twelve months of being begged for content, lifestyle guidance, therapy advice, and thoughts on how to live in truth.
A 2024 relaunch of the The Tig/Instagram/Suits spinoff/general good works? Just you wait - and wait!
All that's then left is a toast to success, wealth, celebrity friends, humility and freedom."

Community Lots
Back in Sunset Valley today. Gave Agnes an older half-sister with an out-of-wedlock kid, and a much younger boy-toy. The only reason I did it was because I wanted to establish family ties between Agnes and the rebellious teen, who will be living with her. So, after making the new family, I killed 2 of them. Because as an all-powerful simgoddess I CAN!!!!! As for Agnes and the teen, they pretty much hate one another. But they've got 2 cats to like, so, that's good.
Anyway, in between killing sims, I did a couple of community lots. I moved a remake of Hogan's diner out to that stretch of lots that's on the road that comes into town - close to Agnes' house, actually. Which left me that big lot in town. So, I gave my sims a bowling alley. Because bowling alleys are sort of a staple of small, American towns. Well, they used to be. Now, not so much.
Anyway, I found a 30x20 lot over on My Sims Realty called Disco Fan Arcade. This was a much bigger space, so I decided to add on to their build and add an ice-skating arena. The original lot ended right where that section with the 3 windows begins - if that makes sense. Anyway, I expanded that outdoor patio eating area, added that area with the benches and bike rental stuff, and bumped out the back of the build a bit. Then added the town deco stuff.
Inside, their build ended where the 3 bowling lanes are. I added the ice-skating rink and a small observation area with tables and chairs and a counter where sims can rent skates. Upstairs I made into a place for serious sims to play some poker. I added some neon signage inside and out, and now need to find some skates to put behind that counter on the ground floor. But other than that, this lot is done!
Then, next to Chris Steele's house, I decided to place a church. This is another lot made by Lili. I've never used it before, but decided to give it a whirl. It also came on a much smaller lot, so I added the parking to the front and got rid of a lot of excess trees and assorted plants. Then I switched out all the windows.
Inside, I switched out the basegame furniture and used stuff from Sandy's church set. I also added some junk from one of the bridal sets. Now my sims have no excuse for always getting married in the bathroom by the toilet. They can do it up right in a church! BTW, there's a small reception room in the basement. But it's basically just some tables, chairs and a buffet table. And a tiny dance floor.
I'm still on the fence as to whether I'll be keeping it, but for now it's done. Or maybe not. I may change that tower where she placed a bell. Or just use a different lot entirely.
Then right across the road is this building. It's a new yoga studio. The original was built a gazillion years ago and came from Mod the Sims. Since there was no yoga back then, the rugs inside were purely decorative. I did make some changes to the outside. I added the fake solar panels to the roof and relandscaped it a bit.
This is how it comes when you download it. I did switch out the rugs for twinsimming's set. Plus, I got rid of all the gaudy wallpaper and used the set from @enable--llamas. Thank you! Then I added those vending machines that olomaya gave us. (Thank you!) As you can see, sims are already using the mats. That's that Bunch sim on the one mat. (He was pretty awful).
Upstairs I got rid of everything that was there. I made a small yoga room - complete with an instructor's mat - added those tables and chairs so sims can relax after class, and then gave them a place to meditate if they're so inclined. Outside, they also have a pool.
Which got me to thinking. The pool, that is. This frackin town now has 4 community pools. FOUR!!!!!!! So, now that we have that tennis mod - thank you to @riverianepondsims - I plan on bulldozing that pool behind my salon - it's the one for the apartments - and making some tennis courts. To me it makes more sense. Especially since the town pool is only a block away. So that will be my next project for this ratty town.
And that's all I managed to get done today. Because I'm old. And lazy.
#sims 3#Sunset Valley#Lilimayrose#thanks to @twinsimming and @olomaya for their lovely mods#and @enable-llams for the lovely wallpaper

I am so tired and I’m planning to fall asleep very early tonight but here are some thoughts:
- I really want to play tennis. I am upset that I haven’t been able to make this happen thus far. I am moving to a city (town lol) that has indoor tennis courts and rentals is $20/hour. Can I teach myself? Just wanna wear the outfits and do a lil exercise.
- I’m rly gonna miss living *literally* beside a grocery store. Starbucks being 100m away? A blessing. They do personal sizes of (Canadian) Chinese food.
- I wanna go to the gym and use the steam room but also, it’s cold and I don’t wanna. Will I keep my membership after I move?? I do not know. I either need to start fucking using it or cancel it hahaha.
- I am learning how to be a human with a brain that’s all in one piece??? And it’s hard??? Therapy has been really hard lately. I know the cycle is *bad* and then *change* ya know? But man, it’s lonely and tough to be like this. I’ve been tracking my HR recently just out of curiosity and it’s wild. I can track my physical responses during the day and match that to emotions/sensations I was feeling at the time.
- I’m in the habit of *stream of consciousness* journaling now, at the request of Michael. I was like “my guy I have been doing this for YEARS on the internet” - so what I’m saying is y’all should be compensated for this therapy hahaha what a journey. It also means that I’m doing less of that here which is fine, it’s different writing it into an actual void (notebook that no one will ever read lol). On some level, I’m always aware that what’s here is ~for an audience~
- when I have a nice bathtub again, my life will be complete hahahaha. It’s just not in the cards for me. It’s the worst. I haven’t had a nice bathtub since the fucking trailer with ge*ff! Remember the oval tub? I keep thinking: inflatable hot tub? its doable at my new place 😂
- ok, signing off luv u guys

Tudor City is an apartment complex located on the southern edge of Turtle Bay, on the East Side of Manhattan in New York City, near Turtle Bay's border with Murray Hill. Designed and developed by the Fred F. French Company, it lies on a low cliff, which is east of Second Avenue between 40th and 43rd Streets and overlooks First Avenue. Construction commenced in 1926, making it the first residential skyscraper complex in the world. Tudor City was one of the first, largest, and most important examples of a planned middle-class residential community in New York City. It is named for its Tudor Revival architecture. The complex is a New York City designated landmark district and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The 13-building complex consists of 11 housing cooperatives, one rental apartment building, and one short-term hotel; these buildings collectively house 5,000 people. Most of Tudor City's buildings are arranged around 41st and 43rd Streets, which slope upward east of Second Avenue; the eastern ends of the two streets are connected by Tudor City Place, which crosses over 42nd Street. Two parks flank 42nd Street, and there was once an 18-hole miniature golf course in the southern park. The buildings generally contain stone, brick, and terracotta facades, as well as ornate Tudor-style details. The Fred F. French Company advertised Tudor City heavily, erecting large signs on the roofs of two buildings on 42nd Street, which could be seen from blocks away.
Before Tudor City was constructed, tenements and slums dominated the area. Following the development of the nearby Grand Central Terminal and office buildings during the early 20th century, Fred F. French began planning a residential enclave in Midtown Manhattan. French announced plans for Tudor City in December 1925, and the first 12 structures were completed in phases between October 1927 and late 1930. The section of 42nd Street through Tudor City was widened in the 1950s with the construction of the nearby United Nations headquarters. The final building in the complex, 2 Tudor City Place, was finished in 1956, and the French Company sold the Hotel Tudor in 1963. Harry Helmsley bought most of the remaining buildings in 1970 and resold them in 1984 to Philip Pilevsky and Francis J. Greenburger, who converted most of these structures to co-op apartments.
The complex contains 12 apartment buildings, named Prospect Tower, Tudor Tower, Windsor Tower, Woodstock Tower, Hatfield House, the Manor, the Hermitage, the Cloister, Essex House, Haddon Hall, and Hardwicke Hall; it also includes a hotel, the Hotel Tudor. Woodstock Tower, in the center of the complex, is the tallest tower of the group, and was originally topped by a flèche, a gothic spire. Tudor City's original shops included three restaurants (providing room service for a fee), grocery, liquor, and drug stores, a barber shop, and beauty parlor. Services included a post office, indoor playground, private nursery, maids, laundry and valet service, private guards, garage, a furniture repair and rug cleaning service, and a radio engineer who would repair and connect aerials. Residents published their own magazine, and there were also organizations such as a camera club. The enclave also contained such amenities as an ice-skating rink and tennis courts, in addition to a library, babysitting service, and bowling alley. Prospect Tower and Tudor Tower both contained two rooftop decks, while the Manor contained another roof deck; there was also a water playground for children.
Due to their distinctive architectural style, Tudor City has been heavily featured in television in film. Appearances include The Godfather Part III, Scarface, Taxi Driver, and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy.

He Can Love Three Things by Capriciously_Terminal
“I think you’re beautiful,” Steve tells Eddie when they’re standing on a basketball court in the middle of a day that’s so hot you could practically skin your knee against it. It’s a moment of stillness like a snapshot. Like freeze-tag, when you had to thunder to a stop at the slap of a hand and just do nothing with all that momentum you’d been in the middle of using.
(AKA Steve Harrington can love Eddie Munson AND basketball as a treat)
Dustin Henderson and the Lovebirds by pukner
"You look like you've been mauled, dude," says Lucas. Then, after a beat, "Oh, ew."
"What the fuck," says Dustin, cottoning on, "What the fuck. This is hell, you didn't."
"Oh, I did," says Eddie, with the air of someone who's won something. He looks like the proverbial cat who's got the canary, if the canary wore polos and listened to Blondie.
"Shut up," Steve mutters, flushing as he seems to register what's happening, "Guys, it's not what you--uh, this isn't what it looks like--"
Or, five times Dustin Henderson was subjected to Eddie Munson being gross and sappy and in love with Steve Harrington, and one time Steve didn't even have to be there.
truly the angel's best by unkreativstermensch
Because he is only human after all, a gay human, actually, with a huge, embarrassing gay crush on Steve Harrington (just a crush though, no real feelings, no because that…hahaha, that would be a real fucking problem and Eddie has enough of those, seriously) and now…
Now that exact Steve Harrington is standing there, in the middle of the living room, in front of the sofa all the gremlins are scrambled on together and- and he’s holding a baby.
Eddie feels like the breath got knocked right out of his lungs.
Or: Steve with babies is the cutest thing in the world and you cannot convince the author (or Eddie) otherwise.
Always Look on The Upside (of the Tip Jar) by Capriciously_Terminal
Steve, the new one who was distinctly crown-less except some pin on his apron with a French quote from Le Morte d’Arthur, which Robin read in actual French and had given him for Christmas even though they’d all been forced to provide a separate twenty-five dollar gift for the staff white elephant exchange, generally hid in the walk-in when people he’d generally been dickish to walked in.
But this time, the long-haired guy Steve had at one point terrorized, walks right up to Steve and has an incredibly odd request.
(AKA Steve Harrington, local barista, forgets a guy's name but does remember their past).
Make Me Look Good by Elle_dubs (avril_o)
A Life For Every Year (And One For After) by Kedreeva
Eddie works in a tuxedo rental shop.
Steve rents a tuxedo for prom, he's taking Robin.
Light shenanigans.
Steve meets her when he is nine years old. She is skin and bones, and fits in the cup of his hands like a tiny, furry tennis ball and her purr rattles against the skin of his palms.
----
Or, the one where baby Steve adopts the same stray kitten as baby Jonathan.
come and rest your bones with me by MacksDramaticShenanigans
“We’re making a fort.”
Steve is barely even halfway through the door when he is accosted with the declaration. His slick raincoat is still zipped up, his wet umbrella still wide open and dripping onto the porch behind him.
“What?” He asks, fumbling to close the umbrella and shake it out before a stack of blankets are being shoved into his arms.
“We are making a fort,” Eddie repeats, grinning at Steve. He’s got his own heap of blankets bundled against his chest, and when Steve glances past his shoulder he can see that the bones of said fort are already mostly established — Wayne’s armchair has already been moved from its cozy corner of the room to now sit directly across from the couch, and the coffee table has been pushed to the side so as to not be a nuisance to the building process.
And, well, it sounds like a lot of fun, actually.
“Yeah, sure, alright,” Steve replies with a huff of a laugh.
hash brown, egg yolk (i will always love you) by MacksDramaticShenanigans
Six months is a long time to be apart. A long time to go without seeing Eddie in the flesh. Without hearing his laugh, low and melodic, right against the shell of his ear. Without hugging Eddie around the middle and hooking his chin over Eddie’s shoulder while he stands at the stove and pushes something delicious around a pan. Without kissing Eddie.
But so is the way of being married to a hotshot musician with a band that has more than made it big.
Because that's what Eddie is. And, god, Steve couldn’t be more proud.
Even if it does mean that sometimes he and Eddie have to go long stretches of time without seeing each other.
But that doesn’t matter anymore. Because Eddie is home now, and he’s going to be home for a while. Corroded Coffin just wrapped up the European leg of their tour (“Fucking Europe, Stevie! Can you believe it!”) and they’ve been given a month before their North American leg is set to start. A whole entire month that Eddie already promised he will be spending at home with Steve.
Starting today.
Hey, Jude by Sharpbutsoft (BuckysButt)
The phone only gets a chance to trill once before Eddie snatches it up from the cradle.
He’s been waiting for this all day.
“You’ve got Eddie,” he says, even though only a handful of people know what hotel he’s staying in, his room number. Even fewer would risk calling him right before a show, but he’s got a car on standby to collect him once he’s done, and this is a very important phone call.
“Is that how you’re greeting your husband now?”
To Get A Recipe by Catnerys
Seven months after the apocalypse literally tore through Hawkins and his miraculous not-death, Eddie does the second bravest thing he ever did and calls Steve.
I Don't Have to Leave Alone by Capriciously_Terminal
Eddie Munson's "European Tour" (i.e. running away to Germany) had hardly been glamorous and he'd expected the same from his homecoming.
Count on Steve Harrington to ruin that by picking him up from the airport.
(AKA There's nothing softer than someone getting you from the airport)
i’ll stop the world and freeze with you by wynnyfryd
Eddie promised he’d take Max ice skating, only… Only he doesn’t actually have a single solitary fucking clue what he’s doing, alright? Good thing there’s a very helpful Hot Guy who can assist.
Phantom Scent by CrystalDragonette
Nancy was only supposed to check on Steve since he wasn't answering the walkie-talkie. Instead she hears him giving Barb a life update
With surprise visitors
your Midas touch on the Chevy door by sarcasticassian
last night his fiancee had blurted out that she was a lesbian and Steve’s perfectly built up walls came crashing down and a tidal wave of feelings rushed in reminding him of his own not so straight sexuality as well and now he’s stood in a side room in the town church and his gay fiancee is waiting just outside the doors to walk down the aisle and he can’t do it
----
a sort of arranged marriage scenario but also some freedom fighting
eddie munson's foolproof test (to see if a guy is sticking around) by loverboysteve
Eddie has a test.
It took some time to formulate, a few too many times with guys careless with his heart, who leave behind more heartache than happiness littered in their memory. It’s fucking hard to tell.
More than once, there’s been a dude who promises between kisses 'i’m not going anywhere' and takes more than his fill during a night which Eddie desperately hopes is passion and not some misguided lust. Only to wake a familiar empty side of the bed, them gone — skipping town, back in the arms of their parent-approved girlfriend, or back to spitting his name out with the word freak.
It’s what the test is for.
Secret Sweater by Maybird315
Eddie learns how to knit so he can make Steve an ugly sweater
A Kiss in the Snow by Sparkle_Fiend
Eddie is going all out for Christmas - there's a lot to celebrate this year. He survived the Upside Down, he and Wayne have a new house, and Eddie has a boyfriend. Unfortunately, his plans are derailed when the weather turns foul and Steve doesn't show on time.
What the hell are you wearing? by thebridgetonarnia
Steve and Robin wear matching ugly christmas sweaters, Eddie is confounded by them.
The Perfect Team by MixAddams
Steve doesn’t hate DnD, he just doesn’t get it.
Harrington Family Reunion by damnwellworthit
Steve gets the chance to take a plus one to the family reunion so he takes the opportunity
