- Take Xanax before getting your teeth cleaned (they’ll give it to you at a good dentist’s office)

- Get your teeth professionally cleaned every 6 months

- Have the dentist apply fluoride treatment every time (it’s $20) and protects your teeth in between cleanings

- Use a “gum health” mouth wash before and after you do a soft tooth brush

I’ve been doing this for over a decade and have not had a cavity or dental issue despite the fact I have sensitivity issues with brushing and will never ever floss. Be careful with the gum chewing, you can inadvertently get TMJ.

I have trouble taking care of my teeth because everything that involves doing that is a sensory nightmare. I decide to do some research to see if there's anything I can do about this. The results?

Like, yeah Google, thanks, that really helps. And like, even if I was a child, some of the advice seemed... unhelpful. Like, doing a dance and singing a song while brushing your teeth? Even for a kid, I don't think that would help distract from a sensory experience as intense as brushing your teeth. Like, the extremely intense and unpleasant flavor, the intense feeling of the brush against your teeth scraping across it, even mouthwash has such an intense and disgusting flavor that I have difficulty keeping it in my mouth for more than a few seconds. I wish there was SOMETHING that could be done.

i went to the dentist today and cried again.

i didn’t realize they were going to break the temporary crown and it freaked me out and i started crying and then i could feel a piece on my tongue so i grabbed it out and the lady asked me if i wanted to take a break. fuck no. i want to get this done and get out.

so anyway that was fucking traumatic. but i’m so worried my teeth will get really bad like my dads were so i go back again next week for a cleaning and they’ll take full x-rays of my mouth so they can see all my problem spots

i also started to clean the bathroom i have to finish the rest of it tonight but rn i’m working on my pants

completely unrelated, but anything regarding peach’s health or her being somewhere else or anything even mildly off with her routine or behaviour is probably by biggest anxiety and panic trigger

I am aware that I have lots of caries and I'm going to be scolded and not believes when I tell the truth (I brush my teeth 3-4 times a day). I am gonna have an anxiety attack. Scene Equivalent Development!

I wrote this up AGES ago on Instagram and yet again totally forgot to post it here! So… uh…here a lil hint of what this scene equivalent is! 👀😅✨

I was super stuck on this for a while but when it finally hit I was like OOOO! Given the Chaotixs are almost always broke imagining how extra broke they’d be in this scenario is hilarious to me. And they have quite the grudge with Sonic… (which honestly I think just about everyone probably does in this au).

I have so many fun interactions in mind for them and the scene! I also just love the idea that the first interaction Miles/Tails probably has with another kid close to his age is him terrified defensively holding out his little zapper deceive (frying pan equivalent!) and Charmy seeing it and being like “HOW MUCH DO YOU GUYS THINK THAT WOULD SELL FOR?!”. Poor little guy just wants to be able to afford cookies <\3

Look. If you've seen almost any of my other posts you may have noticed that I vibe heavily with Vash the Stampede's philosophy of kindness and second chances. I literally work at an addiction support facility. A lot of people who are dealing with addiction and withdrawal are not their best selves at the minute, and some people are also just cunts even when they're stone-cold sober, and it doesn't matter because the whole point of the service is to help anyone who needs help with addiction, regardless of whether they ask nicely, and to treat people with kindness and dignity because people deserve kindness and dignity, no matter what. I truly believe that.

...But also, sometimes, you're kind to people not just because of your principles, but because they are trying to elicit a particular reaction from you and they will not fucking get it. Sometimes you're kind and it's principled but also you are not unaware that you might be fucking with the person you're being kind to just by being polite and patient. Vash wants to try and bring Emilio back to himself and stop him from hurting anybody else, but from his own experiences with memory loss, I think he knows that dragging up the memories that Emilio has repressed so hard will be agonizing, and that remembering Isabel will hurt him. And he does it to be kind, and to stop Leonof, and to hurt him, and I think it can be all of them at once. Yes wheeling in this projector every time I read Trigun is a hassle but I'm going to keep doing it anyway why do you ask
