It can't be that this beautiful little shotgun house in New Orleans was built in 2022. That must be the year it was renovated. Anyway, it has 2bd 1.5ba and is listed for $599,900.

It's a side hall, as you can tell from the door outside, but look at how useful it is- large enough to fit a desk.

Beautiful sitting room with pocket doors and an original fireplace, plus ceiling medallion.

Next is another beautiful sitting room with a fireplace.

They made the kitchen area very spacious by locating the cooking area in a corner.

Bedrooms are usually not very large in shotguns, and this one is cute. It has a fireplace and enough space for 2 small nightstands.

The full bath is a good size and has a laundry/folding area.

The 2nd bd. is good for a child with a smaller bed.

Very nice half bath.

I don't know what this is, b/c the listing says 2 bd, but this looks like a 3rd bd. The child's bd probably doesn't count b/c it doesn't have a closet.

Nice little tropical yard with a deck on the back of the house.

Share an interesting fact you found while doing research for your WIP

I have to do quite a lot of research about my beloved New Orleans for this one, though I have a lot in my mental library already lol. I discovered an important personage in the history of the Garden District: Jacques François Esnould Dugue de Livaudais. I love his name. His family owned a large area in what later became the Garden District, including several plantations. One of the main plantations dominated the block from Sixth, St. Thomas, Washington, and Tchoupitoulas Streets. By the 1820s, however, he and his family had fallen on hard times (why? not sure yet...), and by the 1830s his plantations were sold.

O que nunca te contaram sobre JIM MORRISON, O REI LAGARTO

Jim Morrison, o "Rei Lagarto", como se auto intitulava, costumava contar que aos 3 anos e meio de idade, quando trafegava de carro com sua família pela Rota 66 em direção a Albuquerque, Novo México, presenciou o acidente com um comboio de índios na estrada, e que as almas de um ou dois deles, que "andavam a correr e aos pulos", segundo suas próprias palavras, "transmigraram" e se conectaram à sua própria alma, que as absorveu "como uma esponja".

Como JM nasceu em 8 de dezembro de 1943, esse incidente se conecta com um outro famoso, o de Roswell, acontecido na mesma área e época, no início de julho de 1947. Teria JM sido testemunha da operação limpeza e/ou resgate em andamento? A “conexão psíquica” que manteve, não teria sido assim com índios, propriamente, mas com alienígenas que para minimizar o impacto ou por algum outro motivo, manipularam a mente dos circunstantes, mormente a de Jim, ainda mais por ser uma criança, e os fez vê-los como índios. Essa tese se reforça pelo fato da memória dos pais de Jim terem sido apagadas, já que diziam não se recordarem do incidente.

Para quem sempre teve pendores para o oculto e ainda se considerava um reptiliano, isso décadas antes do termo entrar em voga, seria natural que o conectassem aos UFOs, ainda mais por ser filho de um militar de alta patente, o almirante George Stephen Morrison, e ter vivido na época do surgimento e auge do Fenômeno, outro de nossos mitos modernos inquebrantáveis.

Neste vídeo dividido em três partes, Cláudio Suenaga aborda aspectos do mito Jim Morrison que costumam ser evitados, como suas ligações com o ocultismo, o satanismo e os Illuminati. Teria sido ele vítima do controle mental, como muitos artistas e celebridades, que o levou à morte precoce aos 27 anos, morte esta até hoje obscura e cercada de mistérios?
