I finished my flash sheet for my tattoo assignment!

I hope my mentor is actually happy with this. I think he was disappointed in my last two attempts of work.

He picked out my favorite game asked me too do six symbols from the game in about 3x3 size, though the heartless symbol ended up being much bigger then i ment it to be.

He brings her everywhere, and is always there when she's struggling (somehow predicts it). A guy comes within a 20 mile radius of her and he whips out the shotgun. He cuts up apples and places it on her desk without a word and he compliments her hair and outfits and he let her paint his nails when she was little. The first person who made fun of him for having poorly painted sparkly nails got stabbed in the kidney.

Also, he already has a dad laugh.

Overall, maybe Hellsing is actually about Boydad Alucard's journey to becoming a girldad

I'm getting a chest piece done. Last night I spent approximately 3½ hours in the chair getting this 👆 done.

And it's not done 👇

This 👆 is close to what it will look like, only the feathers will be finished out more instead of being squared off like the photo. The background will also be in the finished piece.

I gotta say all of the artists at MainStreet Tattoo in Daytona Beach Florida are excellent. They have been voted best in the area 2 years in a row and that is a 4-5 county area. They have been nominated for best in the state so we'll see what happens with that.

The right side of my chest will be a collaboration of all the artists in the shop once I figure out something challenging for them to put there.

I have been in and out of tattoo shops since I was 19 and never got a single thing until I walked into this shop at the age of 63, I'm now 65 and everyone I have gotten(4) has been here. During Bike Week there are 12 artists 8 from different states and every single one is amazing, including the UK and an amazing artist from the "Ink Masters" show and he's been on that program more than anyone else.

I've witnessed a lot of awesome work walk out their doors.

If you want a stained glass window to your soul that means something to you, I highly recommend this place.

When mine is finished I will certainly post an update so you can see for yourself.

These people have become family to me and very supportive and aware of the bullshit going on in the world right now. They are like-minded people 🤔

one of the other artists asked me to "do a star war". no other direction, just something star wars-based. he seemed really excited with how it turned out, which i was stoked about.

I'll be leaving to live in the woods for four days with no internet or phone so you know what I want to happen in the bmc fandom while I'm gone? Detailed headcanons about Rich's tattoos. Fanfics about Rich's tattoos. Drawings of Rich's tattoos. Are they real or does he draw them on? What are they of? Does he get some redone after the fire (I'm assuming most were ruined by the burns)? Does Jake help pick them out? Are they meaningful or is he one of those people that tattoos memes all over his body for no reason? Are they words or designs? Small or extravagant? Colored? I obviously do not care what they looked like in canon. I want the fandom to make a detailed exhibit of what they are because. fandom shit is better than canon. I want an entire subsection of tumblr dedicated to this cause. I need it.

I have seen some incredible work by every artist in the shop. The right side of my chest has nothing on it and I will be adding to the right side in due time, and all the other artists will be doing a piece to pull it all together.

I tell them what I want and I allow them to let their creative mind do what they do best.

I prefer to call them: "Stain Glass Windows to the Soul" because they tell a story for the person who gets them. 🤔

I finished my homework for the night.

Sometimes I fight with myself on doing something decently well. My assignment this week was calligraphy. Now previously I have never done it or anything like it. My specialization in school was animation and motion graphics.

But tonight, after one YouTube video and some notes from my sister. I think I did pretty okay, for a first attempt. I think they look good and nice and I feel fine with my homework.

And I feel weird about it. It's one of those things we're I'm learning or trying to learn something and it just clicks or maybe that's not the right word?

I don't know. I found it kind of relaxing.
