I am being so for real right now, the thing that has done the absolute most in rehabilitating Tatsu's image in my eyes to the point where I actually like him now is the sheer mountain of people who haven't played X but try to use Tatsu as a meat shield against criticism of Tora

I’ve been thinking about XCX a lot recently (working on a bajillion fanarts of side characters atm LOL), and just got reminded of the fact that I’m probably the only XCX Fan who’s cosplayed both Lin Lee Koo and Tatsu (ಠ_ಠ)

Good lord the first picture is like…almost 4 years old now??? It was kinda a closet cosplay I did last minute for Halloween, but man I was DEDICATED. I was determined to make Tatsu’s dumb hair swirl, and atleast colour-coordinate some stuff. Also had to wear “fake glasses” via popping off the lenses in those movie theatre 3D glasses LMFAO

Ngl it would be fun to do a rehash of that cosplay since I feel like my skills have improved since. But first, I gotta get Lin Lee Koo prepped again for this year’s conventions!!! I didn’t expect to bring her back after 2024, but hahah we all know what happened October 29th 2024….

As for other Xenoblade cosplays, I’ve always wanted to do the other recruitable characters!!! Hope might be an easy one for me, but I’d love to do a femme version of one of the guys. I’ll have to see what I can do in in the future after I finish up my 2025 cosplans.

Probably nobody else cares about this and they're definitely not gonna do it but it would be nice if they fixed the minor discrepancy where Tatsu says he is 13 in a mid-game sidequest and then in a post-game sidequest (that is gated by the first one way up the chain) they say it's his 13th birthday bc surely nopon don't turn 13 twice
