Cue the @mexicue ! Super delicious shrimp and lobster tacos with some of the house-made hot sauce! Shrimp taco 🍤🌮 from our friends at @hamiltonpork 🐷 near Hamilton Park in downtown Jersey City! Tiny but tasty and they have three homemade hot sauces/bbq sauces to top it off. 😋 this baby is complete with pickled onion, cilantro and crema - but they have a variety of other tacos for just $5 including: carne asada, French fry!, Pescado, brisket, fajita, chicken, Philly, gyro, pork, avocado, al pastor, Brussels and shroom. Wanna go back and test ‘em all! Esp the fish. 🐟🌮 the staff are super friendly, it has a warm & cozy “log cabin” type atmosphere and they play super chill music like ‘Portugal. I FOUND NEMO! 🐟 haha - ordered some “We Found Nemo” tacos on the @gringostaco weekend brunch menu. 2 for $10 and 10 for 10 on taste! 🙌🏼 also gotta lettuce wrap opposed to the tortilla to keep the carbs down, but still super yummy! Topped with crispy fish, mango-jicama slaw, salsa verde, & chili-lime mayo (extra on side). They have a killer homemade hot sauce at the table which was amazing to pour on. The spicy guac was great - but just a heads-up, unless you use as much hot sauce as me which basically becomes your salsa - ya gotta order one of their salsas on the side. Wanna try the pineapple habanero next time fo sure! Our waitress was super friendly, you’ll love the cute atmosphere with floral decor by the hostess stand, you can sit outside at the picnic tables in the ☀️ for brunch - and the bathroom’s have some funky porta-potty doors for doors. I LOVE CHEESY 🧀 in queso you didn’t know 😜😉 @oralemk 👉🏼 queso flameado with melted Oaxacan & Chihuahua Cheese in a Cast Iron Skillet. Add Mac & cheese for a buck fifty! More stringy than most quesos I’ve had, but still good. Friend had the enchilada vegetariana - which she completely devoured! - with Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Delicata Squash, Cauliflower, Potato, Carrot Puree, Cinnamon, Pine Nuts, Crisp Leeks, Lemon Zest, Fire Engine Red Salsa & Ranchera Sauce. Again my fav tacos here (which ya already might’ve seen) are the BOMB💣BORRACHO with crispy Beer Battered Fish topped with Pickled Jalapeño Cabbage Slaw, & Chipotle Orange Sauce. And ya neeeedz to start with the guac trio - only $12! Yummy lunch from @oaxacatacos they offer great lunch specials like two tacos with rice and beans or salad for about $9. Had a couple especial! Korean with bulgogi marinated pulled beef tenderloin, shredded lettuce, kimchee, pear-mango slaw, cotija cheese & cilantro + a Camarón with seared achiote shrimp (chilled), pico de gallo, cabbage, salsa verde, avocado lime salsa & cilantro. Complete with side of rice and beans and stole some guac from my coworker 🙈😝 nothing like great Mexican brought to the office to spice up the day! 🔥 right near my office at their Murray Hill location, but they have a bunch in NYC! If I had to ask for anything from this dope spot with homemade grub and cutesy atmosphere (check out the wallpaper when you visit 😉) it would be to enlarge the hot sauce cups bc... DANG! @thehamiltoninn served me as if I was the president me-self with these delectable fish tacos, Brussels sprouts and extra spicy mayo and sriracha! Pretty much the only foods I need in my life 😂 + dessert! East LA fish tacos - three soft shell tortillas filled with tilapia, pico de gallo, lettuce, spicy aioli and avocado. Yummmmm 😋 and oh so tasty crispy Brussels. The restaurant is across the street from Hamilton Park in Jersey City, a quiet park surrounded by nineteenth century brownstones. A very cute atmosphere inside and friendly staff!
