Droga do raju
20 kwietnia 2024. Obiecałem napisać, co jest za Glenorchy. Otóż za Glenorchy jest Raj, najprawdziwszy. Tak wygląda droga do niego:
Tumblr media
Klasyczna gruntowa trzęsidupka mocno cierpiąca na efekt tarki nadawałaby się raczej na drogę do piekła, niż raju, ale nie można narzekać. Widoki wokół i za Glenorchy są rzeczywiście rajskie.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media

@indigos-shits-and-giggles
So um, long story short, I was thinking about your hatchet clan AU and then I realized that technically speaking, smelly balls could be a warrior cats name. Then I got carried away and made a clan for all of the musicals sooo…. Uh. Here you go i guess
Hogclan:
Leader: Bumblestar (Dumbledore)
Deputy: Snakepelt (Snape)
Medicine cat: uhhhhhhhhhhhh
Warriors: Wolfmoon(Lupin), Blackpool(Sirius Black) Fernbloom (Quirrel) Hollystorm (Molly Weasley) Rainbowfur (scarfy)  etc.
Apprentices: Lightningpaw (Harry) Redpaw (Ron (his name is redvine when he grows up)) Frizzypaw (Hermione) Gingerpaw (Ginny) Tinypaw(Draco) Finderpaw (Cedric) Tallpaw (Goyle) Crabpaw (Crabbe(I know, so creative))  Ravenpaw (Cho)
Rangerclan? Galactic clan? Idk
Leader: Halfstar (Up)
Deputy: Smallfang (Taz)
Medicine cat: Hollowhead (February)
Warriors: Bugshell (bug) Cleversight (Specs) Haystack (Tootsie noodles) Metalpelt (Megagirl) idk what to name Junior but I think it would probably have “weed” in it. I also don’t know what to name krayonder
Superclan??? That sounds dumb.
Leader: Batstar (batman)
Deputy: Super… cat???
Medicine cat: UHHHHHH
Warriors: Greenlight (Green lantern) Flashspeed (the flash) Fishtail (Aquaman) Hawkflight (hawkman) etc.
Apprentices: Robinpaw (Robin)
Desertclan:
Leader: Crookedstar (The sultan)
Deputy: Twistedwish (Ja’far)
Medicine cat: Someone. Probably.
Warriors: Duskshout (Captain of the guard),  all of the other citizens.
Apparentices: Moonpaw(the princess)
Sithclan????? Idfk at this point
Leader: Blackstar (Pappy)
Deputy: Skywalker (Ani)
Medicine cat: not even gonna try.
Warriors: Silvershine (Tarky) Jadeskip (Mara) Emberheart (Emily) Jay…jay? (J.J.)
Fireclan (formerly Duckclan):
Leader: Mudstar (Jemilla)
Deputy: Fireblaze (Zazzalil)
Warriors: Berryblossom (emberly) Specklesight (Keeri) Duckspirit (Ducker) Smellyballs (Smellyballs) Clumsyfoot (Shwoopsie) Skytail (Tiblyn) I don’t care if it doesn’t fit the naming conventions, chorn is staying chorn.
Elders: Bloodystar(Molag)
The deatheaters and rogues gallery would both be rogue groups, the bug kingdom would be… dogs? I guess? Or maybe they’re like those cats with the long ass names idk it’s been a while since I’ve read the books.

the Andor finale was very very good but after that post credits scene I'm laughing at the conversations empire leadership must've had for this to happen
Tarkin and whoever in a board meeting trying to break it to Palpatine that yes sir the giant planet-killing moon fortress is a great idea but no offense how the hell do we build this thing?? even if we somehow got every space construction contractor in the entire galaxy to work on it it'll still take like 50 years. and some idiot goes adurrr, what about uhhhghhm. wookees. and Palpatine throws him out the window like the angry CEO meme and says listen. Tarkin. Tarky. Tarkinator. why don't we just arrest everybody with an unpaid parking ticket and send them to huge revolving door slavery factories where they work 20 hours a day building pieces of this thing like Lego and electrocute them if they don't work fast enough. boom. easy and Tarkin's like yes yes I love oppression but we'd never get enough prison guards how would we keep them under control?
and ol Sheevy turns to him and asks in his Telling Sith Fairy Tales At The Opera voice did you ever hear the tragedy of “the floor is lava”

The Land of Rebirth
Two Messonir preachers, Kuneir and Tarki, lead the poor and downtrodden of southern Lekesh to a promised land; a lush and fertile valley amidst the Lesser Desert, not far as the crow flies from the city of Tlya.
Over the centuries since the Great Drying, the Messonir have been gradually migrating away from the Ajuna valley to surrounding regions. Despite the rebuilding of the Middle Ajuna in the aftermath of the deluge war, this trend has continued. Some have headed west along the coast to the land of Pensh, a landscape of savannahs and small fertile valleys north of the towering Brass Mountains. Many others have headed north, across the Strait to Lekesh, and settled in the region around Kalikassis, known as Liet.
Liet is not the most fertile of lands, and abuts on the Lesser Desert, which remains mostly untravelled – the human lands are all to the north, and much easier to access by boat. A bad harvest in Liet will see many Messonir of the region starve or be forced from necessity to take whatever work they can on the many ships that pass through the Strait towards Incarien. The folk of Liet still value learning, as all Messonir do, but spread out as they are they cannot maintain the many great libraries of the Ajuna valley; instead Kalikassis and a few other major towns hoard knowledge eagerly, and the wealthy merchants of those towns and cities view it as a possession common to them and their peers, and not the Messonir as a whole.
The Messonir still travel as Windborne – though often not as far as their forbears did, as the world is both more full and more full of peril than in centuries past – but what they learn is often not recorded, or passed on only as tales to family and friends.
In the early years of the Fourth Age, an itinerant preacher by the name of Kuneir wanders between the villages of eastern Liet, preaching the doctrines of Astatism. She travels from settlement to settlement teaching children, giving sermons on respecting Tepponilamek and Parsh and living a good life, and picking up any odd jobs she can to keep herself alive. Several times larger towns suggest that she stay and settle down, because she is both wise beyond her relative youth and a charismatic speaker. Yet she refuses each offer; she is troubled by dreams of cold and light and emptiness, and is sure that she is meant for something more. She knows there is something she needs to find, some answer to the suffering and violence and poverty around her.
She is about to leave another small town when she hears feet behind her. Turning, she sees a Messonir hurrying on the gangly feet of one newly fledged towards her. He introduces himself as Tarki, and asks to be her disciple. She laughs in his face, and says she has no great wisdom or revelation to teach; she merely says what many others wiser than her have said before, but tries to be the one to get through to people.
Tarki says that is why he wishes to follow her.
Grumbling, she gives him the chance to explain himself. As they walk out of town, Tarki describes all he saw of the world as a Windborne, but also claims that he lacks the context for all of it. He heard Kuneir preach while still a Windborne, and rose up onto his legs as he considered her words. He believes that she can help him find the answers that he seeks about the great questions. Humbled by such faith, Kuneir cannot help but let him aid her.
The two travel together for three years, Tarki learning from Kuneir and she from him in turn. As they grow closer as teacher and student, Tarki too has disquieting dreams. In their travels, they find no great truth or answer, but grow gradually despondent and angry at the poverty of Liet and the news of wars in the wider world.
Then one night, they both Dream. Their Dream carries them to the deepest halls of the Reflecting Gallery, the Halls that twist and writhe like the arteries of a giant, the Halls that echo with words not yet spoken, the Halls that shine with light so cold it burns, the Halls that stretch on and on, extending for ever and ever and ever ever ever, spiralling down into an infinity of words and an eternity standing before a frozen monolith that knows all things.
When they wake, they remember things that neither of them have ever seen. They remember drinking blood as Dzadek warriors, and labouring as Tiktik workers. They remember what it is to prepare the perfect poison, or twist the mind of a foe into knots. They remember victories and defeats, lives of joy and sorrow, deaths heroic and pathetic.
They also remember the voice of Tepponilamek, echoing down the Hallways of his body, filling them from the bones outward.
There is no answer. There is merely living. But there are always better ways to live.
They remember flying over the Lesser Desert to the north, and seeing a ribbon of blue and green running through it. And the two know what they need to do.
The next time they preach, they do not speak of the small lives of the listeners, and how to live well and morally within them. They speak of a promised land to the north, a second Ajuna to inhabit, a land where they can be Messonir as Tepponilamek made them. Their following builds and builds, the elites of the region embroiled in their petty conflicts or unwilling to risk the ire of the growing crowds or sure that the movement will fizzle out.
It doesn’t, and three years to the day after they Dreamed, Kuneir and Tarki lead one fifth of the folk of Liet northwards, across the desert, into a green valley with a wide river, deep and heavy with silt, running through it. Kuneir names the river the Utlani, the River of Rebirth, and the grateful people call themselves the Utlankani, the Reborn. Tarki marks out a city, based on those he saw whilst a Windborne, and soon the city of Rokorniss grows on the banks of the Utlani as the Reborn spread along the river. They plow the fields, build homes, gather to share the knowledge that they learned long ago as Windborne, and buoyed by their joy at having a land for their own bring forth many new Windborne into the world.
