I think the context behind these doodles was to lean into the “omg!!! Multishipper = cheating on popular ship partner!!!” joke but I literally do not remember so take them anyways.

There is no ZaDr or TaGr (bc I’m not a fan of those ships 😷) in my au however their ages are up for interpretation. Wether you want to view them as extremely sheltered adults or young children, I do not care as long as they’re not lewded if you’re going with the latter. Zim, though, is canonly older than Red and Purple by two years in this au. Their ages aren’t so much depicted by their physical body but rather their mental state lmao. Also PLEASE no non con jokes kay thanks 👍

I feel like the Invader Zim fandom is pretty much dead but I've seen a ton of stuff on this lately which is insane because I thought you guys crawled back into your dark Hobbit Holes after the movie came out but shrugs!

Now typically I'm not a huge shipper, not as much as I USED to be, but I still do enjoy the occasional one between canon characters if I see it happening. But one thing I'll never understand is why ZaDr, ZaGr, ZaGIr (not sure what the Zim x GIR one is), TaGr, TaDr (etc) are so popular? Not to mention the LARGE age gaps between irkens (specifically Zim and Tak) with Dib and Gaz

Jhonen himself has stated that Zim is like, an old man in human years. He found the trope of an old man beefing with a child to be funny when he was younger so he put that into IZ (if I can find this I'll link it somewhere, it's 5 AM right now and I don't feel like doing it 😭) and we can SAFELY assume the same with Tak. They can be the same age, either being a little older or younger than the other. It doesn't really matter.

Any ship with GIR feels wrong. He acts like a child, I see him as a child, I don't think anything could make me COMFORTABLE with ships that have him in it.

I feel as if the only actual ships that would be right are The Tallest (despite some seeing them as brothers. I don't think they're brothers but you can prove me otherwise if I'm wrong) and ZaTr?

The Tallest need no explanation. Have you seen them?

ZaTr can be much more controversial but I heavily feel like they'd be kismeses or enemies to lovers (somehow, someway).

I tried something different with this, instead of just using base colors I put more layers on it to make it shiny. I couldn’t get the background the way I hoped but maybe as I keep drawing I can do better. I’m really proud how it turned out despite the background so I might do my other drawings like this because a dark blue outline actually looks better then the black.
