So a lot of us seem to be talking about the tallests having thumbs in the trailer. It was stated in the past that cutting off your thumb was part of becoming the tallest, so there's a lot of confusion.

I've been thinking... It was also mentioned that Red and Purple would have likely been sneaky enough to keep their thumbs and hide them in their gloves. Obviously, the gloves they're wearing in the trailer are not the same kind at all. What if the existence of their thumbs ties into this? Maybe in that situation they didn't have much risk in showing they still have their thumbs or something?

Idk just thinking about it.

Another Red x Purple mood board !

A Somewhat Fateful Encounter (Purple x Red)

Purple's memory was getting worse .

It was probably because his PAK was damaged in the crash and despite their searching they havent found Zim yet , and Red was starting to lose hope .

What if Purple forgot him ?

It was a dull yet persistent thought each time Red held Purple in his arms , each time the next day started, each time the sun set .

It was really scaring Red .

Currently Purple was resting in Red's lap , his arms clinging to Red's waist . The two had managed to scavenge some rather pathetic human clothes to wear , Red having luckily found the twos favorite color for a set . A red hoodie for him , and purple hoodie for the other . They had to remove the Irken tech skirts they wore along with their levitation belts , and it was a relief they found skinny pants that fit them too .

But for the rest they had to wear their hoodies in public (which highly irritated their antennas) and keep their eyes down , and sure it looked fishy but it got them were they wanted to go .

Although since they could only manage a few quarters and dimes for the streets the two aliens couldn't afford anything for snacks , and they were famished. It had been months since they had anything sugary to quench their hunger .

But at least they were safe in the abandoned house they managed to find . Sure , it had holes in the ceilings and dropped when it rained , but it was all they could find .

Red's eyes snapped open and his antennas went up as they sensed movement in the house , something much bigger than the local mice and rats . After a second of hesitation the legs of his PAK crept out and lifted him up from the chair he sat in , making sure he held onto the sleeping Purple.

He was a heavy sleeper anyways since Irkens didn't really need it .

The sharp ends of the spider-like legs jabbed into the rotting wood flooring as Red scouted the area cautiously , finding what had alerted him in the kitchen .

In a loud , shocked voice , a teen yelled :

"ALIENS ! "

A pale finger accusingly jabbed at Red and Purple , who had just woken up and clampered onto Red's back for protection .

" YOU ... YOU LOOK LIKE ZIM ! YOU ARE THAT LIZARDS LEADERS ARENT YOU ?! " The boy continued , the familiar name making Red perk up .

"You know where Zim is at ? " Red responded in a much calmer voice , creeping for the intruder curiously . One leg snapped onto the cape like part of the large headed beings clothing and trapped him there.

"WELL ... WELL ... YEAH .. He... He's an alien that goes to my school ... "

"You are that Dib human , aren't you ? " Red then asked , remembering the teens name from when he once happened to get in a call with the tallests.

"Yes... Yes I am ... And Im going to capture you !" Once again Dib's finger jutted out , and Red just did a simple eye roll in response .

"How about we make a deal , eh ?" Red offered , perking one antenna like that of an eyebrow . After a second , a questionable look came to Dib's face.

"Like ... What ? Will you let me have that thing on your back ?!" Dib quickly asked .

"No ... I can't give you that ... How about ... A picture ?" Red asked , causing Purple to grab his face and pull it back to look at him .

"What are you doing ??" Purple asked queitly , and Red only pressed one finger to Purple's mouth beforr freeing his head.

Obviously Dib's eyes had instantly lit up ."Yes!! Then I can prove to the world that you are ...Aliens !!"

Once again , Red rolled his eyes and stepped back to free Dib , quickly dropping himself to the floor . "Yeah yeah, whatever . Now show us to Zim ."

"Wait - " Dib stood up , dusting himself off. "Neither of you have a disguise??"

"The Massive crashed , and with it most of Technolegy was trashed . This is what we could manage ." Red explained , removing Purple from his back .

"Oh ... Well ... Off we go !" Dib didn't seem to really care , quixkly scurrying out the door. In the short time the two tallests had free , Purple spoke .

"Red ! You want to endanger us to the humans ?!" Purple's antennas went back , and he started to pout as he did always .

"Don't you remember what Zim said ? Humans are a lot dumber than we thinks ."

"But they have the weapons to take down the massive!"

Red just sighed , patting Purple's head and being careful of his antennas . "Lets just get going ." He then pulled up their hoodies , quickly heading after Dib .

It was a long walk, but eventually they found it . The oddly colored green house with a purple roof , with countless gnomes in the front garden that stood as security guards .

"This honestly doesn't surprise me." Red said rather blandly , staring at the decor as he approached the door way with Purple .

"Wait !!" Dib spoke up , making the two turn to him and see him wave around a camera . Red's eyelids drooped in unamusment before one leg jutted out , snapping the camera in half .

"Go away kid , unless you plan for me to steal your organs and have them for dinner ." Red grumbled , and Dib took a few steps back.

"Ill get you ... someday .." He then ran off , leaving the two Irkens at Zim's door step .

"Anyways .... " Red reached one hand out , his two fingers knocking on Zim's door .

Guess what guys ? I'm planning on actually having this (linked to the first one here ) as one entire fanfic! Im going to post one chapter every now and then according to my list ! (DBH , IZ , EW Repeat)
